Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rochford District

The house was beautiful, tastefully updated and very well organized. We loved using the fireplaces and Kate had the house nicely decorated for the holidays. The kitchen was wonderful and we enjoyed cooking our Christmas dinner there. It was a perfect setting for a vacation rental, lovely grounds, footpaths just around the corner, just perfect! And Kate was very responsive to all our requests. Recommended great local restaurants and a 13th century church for Christmas Day. Excellent accommodation! We loved it!

Comfortable home in peaceful location but near to the beach, very pet friendly. Mersea island is a lovely location. Plenty of lovely pubs within 10min walking distance. Mel is a fantastic host, very friendly and goes out of her way to make your holiday special.

Stayed here the night before my wedding and it was honestly perfect! Beautiful decor, clean and cosy - me and my Bridesmaids had a really memorable stay. Fleur was a fantastic host, letting us check in early and leaving us a card and bottle of fizz in the fridge - can’t recommend enough!

I stayed for my 30th birthday celebrations and had the best time ever. This place was perfect! the decor, the location, the surroundings and most importantly Karen and her husband was so friendly and lovely and ensured I had a special birthday. I’ve stayed at Airbnb’s before and I’ve never had a host as lovely as Karen was, the perfect host we could have wish for. The swimming pool was amazing and me and my family had a wonderful time enjoying it in the sun with a BBQ. The cottage was spotless and a welcome hamper was provided and every little detail was perfect. The garden area was beautiful through out the day and so peaceful and relaxing. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, it was truly perfect and I will definitely be staying again and recommending to everyone I know! Thank you again for making it such a special birthday x

Such a beautiful property, surrounded by peaceful countryside and at the end of a country road so there was no passing traffic. A quintessential English period property, beautifully and tastefully decorated with everything that you need for a wonderful stay. Lisa was delightful, excellent communication and warm with her welcome. The beds were comfortable and everywhere clean and tidy. The barn also lovely and our extended family enjoyed staying there. The garden truly beautiful and in May after a warm start to the year so many flowers were in bloom, roses and wisteria around the front door and lilac along the pathway. Excellent seating on the terrace ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks, we just wish our time there was less frantic, would love to return and slow down to enjoy this perfect rental. Mark was a gracious and responsive host. Mark pro-actively checked- in with me regarding the comfort and satisfaction of the flat. The flat was clean, comfortable and as pictured. The location felt safe and is an idea location close to the train and within walking distance to lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. Should I return to Southend-On-Sea, I would book again.

Had the most amazing stay with Paul who was amazing from start to finish, was very attentive, went the extra mile with every little detail from muffins, fresh croissants, fresh juices and beverages, highest quality hand gel, shampoo etc. even had a love heart in rose petals on the bed this has definitely been my best experience through air bnb and would be back again, would highly recommend. If i could give 10 ⭐️ I would Thank you Paul for an amazing experience

Just back from a wonderful stay at Craig and Imogen’s apartment, as a family of 4 with our toddler and baby. It’s one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed in with our kids. Spotless, tidy, smells like a hotel - very clean and an all round enjoyable space to be in. Excellent location from which to explore Margate- everything walkable. Everything was super clear right from booking through to check out. Just perfect! Would love to come back again!

We had a lovely stay at Amelia's place. As many of the reviews here suggest, it feels more like a home than an Airbnb. Decorated beautifully and in an amazing location right next to the beach and Cliftonville shops. Amelia was really quick to respond to any questions we had and we would definitely stay here again - it had everything we needed and more. Thank you Amelia!

This is a beautiful unique little homely haven. It's cosy, with interesting nooks and crannies everywhere throughout, warm and inviting. The sauna on the roof terrace is the icing on an already excellent cake. Jess communicated so promptly and helpfully throughout. I can't recommend it enough. One of my all time favourite air bnb experiences. Thanks Jess!

We stayed for one night and absolutely loved it! The host was very kind and helpful, which made our experience even better. The hot tub was amazing, and the house itself was super cozy and comfortable. We also loved the dog — he was so friendly and made us feel even more at home. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cabin in a stunning location! Perfect to relax and be in the nature. Tom gave us very clean instructions and local recommendations. We loved watching the sunset by the fire and having a morning coffee listening to birds. Amazing place for walks, runs and exploring !

An unforgettable stay! Deborah’s cabin was absolutely stunning – the perfect escape. The place had everything you could possibly need, thoughtfully arranged and beautifully kept. The sauna was such a treat – clean, peaceful, and so relaxing – and the hot tub was just perfect, always at the right temperature. Every little detail was just right, making our stay so comfortable and special. Deborah herself was a wonderful host – warm, kind, and always quick to respond to any questions. You can really tell she cares about her guests having a great experience. Highly recommend – we can’t wait to come back!

What a fantastic destination! We thoroughly enjoyed the Prosecco and marshmallow indulgence. It was the perfect opportunity for us to unwind and savor the moment, and our kids had a blast as well. The scenery was beautiful, and there were wonderful dining options in the nearby villages. The place was spotless, and Kari was incredibly attentive and helpful.

We had a fantastic one night break here. the Cabin was incredibly warm and cosy, and the temperature of the heating was adjustable and kept us happy throughout the evening. The amenities were perfect for what we needed, and the surroundings (a quiet but functioning fruit farm) was enjoyable to watch from inside the cabin. The grounds although closed to guests were available for us as guests to have a stroll around and they were even picturesque at the time of year we visited (February). We would absolutely visit again. Thanks for accomodating us

We really enjoyed a two night stay at the ‘The Cosy Lodge’ with our two young grandchildren. The setting was peaceful and we loved all the little extra features, the cut flowers, biscuits and selection of teas. The huge marshmallows were a huge hit and Kelly very kindly gave us some dry logs when ours were too damp! We loved the roaming chickens and cats, the children’s favourite was Mr Lettuce the tortoise. The children were really excited to look for eggs in the mornings. The Lodge was very cosy, the beds were super comfy. The shower room next door was a great facility with young children, a lovely selection of shower gels and soaps, the children loved sampling the watermelon, grape and peach iced tea toothpaste. There is also a great selection of toys, games and books, we didn’t put the tv on once. Kelly and Richard were very responsive and friendly hosts, it was lovely to stop and chat. I would certainly go back.
