Farmstay holiday rentals in Rockingham County

Smokey pines is the perfect getaway. It's private, secluded yet close to the towns and people we want to visit. It feels homey and comfortable and has all the amenities required. We'll definitely be back!

Amy's place was perfect for what we needed. Clean and well kept on a beautiful farm. No kitchen available, but that was ok, we didn't need one, the small fridge to use was convenient. Bring your own drinking water or fill from the bathroom. The bed was too firm for my partner but he used the couch cushions. We attended a concert both nights and arriving late night was not a problem at all. I highly recommend and would totally return if in the area. And her art is beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay, lots to do with in a few miles. There are some games to play while we enjoyed a fire. We had a projector so we enjoyed a movie later on upstairs in the loft. Thank you for the relaxing time.

Donna’s place was an incredible stay for a fall weekend. We really enjoyed being able to use the kitchen, kayaks, and fire pit outside by the beautiful foliage.

We had such a lovely and peaceful stay in the barn apartment. The space is quiet and calming, and we loved waking up to the sounds of the chickens and watching the goats from the kitchen window. Amylyn and Jonas were amazing hosts and set us up with everything we needed. Jonas is a great yoga teacher and I highly recommend his ashtanga class. The kitchen is pretty minimal which required a little planning ahead, but it was totally fine for a weekend trip. I would absolutely recommend this Airbnb and look forward to returning in the future.

A beautiful accommodation with very warm hosts. The hosts, grounds, goats and chickens were all a pleasure to be around for a nice peaceful get away.

Jan, her husband & 3 dogs are the best. Very kind & super friendly people. They have a unique place they enjoy sharing with others. Spotless. Clean. Cozy. Beautiful countryside. Close to nature. Close to restaurants and stores. And don’t forget the beautiful horses. Couldn’t say enough good things about the Farm on North Road.

Vey cozy and friendly place/host. The house is super cute and welcoming, surrounding by plants and relaxing vibes. The queen bedroom was perfect for a couple and it included one breakfast which was delicious. Tracey does an excellent job to accommodate you and make you feel right at home. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house is at walkable distance to restaurants and a brewery. We will stay there again if we are visiting this area. We are recommending Tracey's place if you are looking for a relaxing and friendly place to stay.

I believe our 5th stay at Winnie’s Farmhouse and as always So comforting. Despite the weather the farmhouse provides the warmth and comfort to brighten anyone’s stay. It’s our home away from home and provides everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Thank you Michele and Ray!

What a special place. Every person at the property made us feel as welcome as if we were family, beginning with Jan and Rich. The accommodations were exactly as described, comfortable and clean (we even had A/C!), and the other guests were convivial and considerate. The barn and property are wonderful. The horses are just heaven. Jan is the most gracious host, and generously and patiently shared her vast horse expertise and knowledge with us. I brought my daughter up for her birthday to experience a trail ride with Jan, and Jan has welcomed her to help out in the barn too! I can’t say enough good things. Genuinely kind people like these are rare gems. I hope you come to meet them.

Waking up to horses at your window was the gift I did not know I needed! Place was clean, beds were comfortable and it was stocked with many extra’s like tea and coffee. It was like being home.
