That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Listen to the birds sing in the woods outside while you sit in the large window, drink your morning coffee and study the Romsdal mountains. The mini house is centrally located, but undisturbed, on the outskirts of a forest in the center of Isfjorden. Strap on your skis outside the door and go to some of Romsdal's most famous mountains. Or sit on the couch and watch Romsdalseggen you walked earlier in the day. The mini-house has a small and functionally equipped kitchenette (fridge and two hobs) where you can cook simple dishes.

Welcome to Sauefjøset Here you will have: - Amazing views from your own patio - Historical feeling in a renovated sheepfold - Perfect starting point for outdoor activities - Free parking - Wi-Fi Sauefjøset is idyllically located on a courtyard on the sunny side of Skjåk. There are five buildings on the farm that are from the 1800s. Sauefjøset was renovated in 2023 for rental. There are two double beds (150 cm) - one downstairs and one upstairs on the loft. Gjestehuset ligger meget sentralt nær starten av Romsdalseggen/ Rampestreken, og 5 minutters gåavstand fra tog-/ busstasjon og Romsdalsgondolen. Kjøkkenkrok m/ kjøl-frys og to kokeplater. Ikke stekeovn. Vannkoker/ presskanne for kaffe. Brødrister. Kjøkkenet egner seg best for enkel matlaging pga størrelsen. Baderom er lite, men har toalett, vask og dusj. Gjestehuset er et lite, gammelt gårdshus, med relativt små rom og lave dører. Grei takhøyde. Huset benyttes kun av våre Airbnb gjester.

Cozy holiday home with amazing views of Hjørundfjorden. Several patios/terraces, fire pit and barbecue. Outdoor jacuzzi for 5-6 people. The house is located 35m from the parking lot in sloping terrain. Small sandy beach and common barbecue/outdoor area nearby. 400 m to Sæbø center with grocery stores, niche stores, hotels and campsite. Motorboat can be rented at an additional cost, floating jetty 50m from the house. Please let us know before arrival if boat rental is applicable.
