Romy's place was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with anything you could need in a stay to NYC! The location was easy to find and very private — we met Romy a couple times and she was very nice and welcoming. Otherwise, she gives guests their privacy for their stay, which I think is always appreciated! She accommodated an early bag drop-off/check-in which we also appreciated very much. As other reviewers said, keep in mind that you can hear light noise upstairs but this really isn't a problem at all, and had no impact on us during our stay or sleep. We especially appreciated how large the space was — it's excellent for longer stays and if you want to do some cooking and laundry! Romy's place was perfect as a home away from home visiting the city for a week!

Had a great stay at this apartment, very welcoming, cozy and surprisingly pretty quiet. Very convenient location, close to a lot of stores and good food. Host was very responsive and always texted me if anything and I was able to text her as well. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the city to stay at this apartment!

I stayed in Michael's wonderful apartment for nearly a month. It is a pristine, lovingly cared for home, and I felt so lucky to be able to share this space. Thank you to Michael for all the kindness and hospitality. I had lived in New York for seven years and so I know the city well; it was a gift to be back.
