House holiday rentals in Roskilde Municipality

We stayed here with our three children. It has been recently refurbished with beautiful gardens and lots for the children to do. The pool and outside shower were highlights. The area is very tranquil and great for walks, but also easily commutable to Copenhagen. Thor and Line were very communicative and even left us flowers and a bottle of wine. We would love to stay here again, it is a very special place and definitely one of our favourite holidays. Thank you!

We spent a wonderful week at Bryans place with our three kids, who just learned or were abour to learn how to swim. Because the large pool was heated we couldnt get them out of the water, it was amazing. Since the garden had big hedges all around and a sunny terrasse it was just the perfect place to relax and feel comfortable. The house itfelf is gorgeous, since it is actually someones home it is lovely decorated and especially the kitchen misses nothing, which really sets it apart from "tourist only" places. Bryan was always extremely friendly, answered every question and made everything very easy and smooth. Veddelev itself is very nice and quiet, you can walk to a little beach with a pier, the water there is clean and shallow at first, which is again, very kids-friendly. All in all we had a great holiday and hope to visit again soon.

We had a delightful stay. Kim is a very responsive and helpful host, and the house was clean and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. We were impressed by the attention to detail. It’s a quiet neighbourhood with beautiful surroundings. Would recommend having a car, but we managed it all on public transport and the handy bikes at the house. The only confusing bit was the light switches that took some finding! If you’re looking for a comfy space an hour outside of Copenhagen, this is a great place.

We stayed in Louise's house for one week with our two children. It is a beautiful and spacious house, full of comforts with both an authentic and modern look. Also a large garden with a trampoline, swimming pool and various sitting areas. Location is a good base for visits to Copenhagen, Mons Klint, the Forrest Tower and Stevn Klint. Louise is a nice and committed host, with whom we had good communication. In short, we had a lovely stay in Louise's house.

Large property in outside of city location. Beautifully landscaped, well-kept garden. You could park right next to the ground floor apartment, which was great. Apartment was very clean and nicely furnished. Everything we needed was available. Thomas has provided complete instruction. I recommend staying there especially if you are looking for some peace and quiet

Many thanks for having us. The house is extremely comfortable, fully equiped and very well located to the beach and Copenhagen. We had a splendid time and definitely consider to come back one day.

Christina and Martin were very helpful and accommodating. Everything in the house was to your satisfaction and there were all the amenities you need. Had contact with them during the stay when we happened to make a mess with the pool cover but we got very nice treatment and they made sure there was a company and made it right. Highly recommend this house and nice host couple who took care of our holiday!

A lovely and cozy house. Everything is well thought out and very convenient (though a coat rack at the entrance would have been helpful, but we managed). It’s great that pets are allowed—we stayed here for New Year’s so our dogs could have a break from fireworks. There really weren’t many fireworks around. Thanks!

We had a very nice time at Maja and Bo's house. The house matched the listing and photos exactly. The furnishings were great, new, with high-quality appliances. Very cozy seating both inside and out. We felt very comfortable.

We had a great time at Anne Sophie's house! The house is located in a quiet and peaceful area. The garden goes around the house and leaves lots of space for playing e.g. trampoline, darts. We also got to enjoy seasonal apples and blackberries. The house leaves sufficient space and is as described in the ad and seen in the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped. We didn't miss anything during our week long stay. The communication with Anne Sophie was very smooth and friendly. She replied to all our questions and attended to requests immediately. The house is in walking distance to the harbour and cathedral in Roskilde which are worth seeing! We also went to Copenhagen by train. The train ride takes just under 30 minutes and is probably the best and easiest way to get there. We highly recommend Anne Sophie's place and will gladly consider it in the future!

Jeppe was a great host it made in/check out extremely easy. There were accurate descriptions of all the house amenities, and the home was cozy, clean, and spacious. I hope to borrow the house again next year!

Lovely summerhouse. The views over fields and fjord are lovely. The host is not on site but easy to contact. Initial problem with dodgy electrical cable was quickly resolved. One bedroom had no blinds or curtains- a start of season oversight apparently. Not a problem, we hung a blanket and another fabric over the window and it worked. The silver tv remote didn’t work but it wasn’t a problem, we connected directly to the tv using an iPad. All in all, a very nice holiday

Great stay with lots of things for our kids to play on.

Our stay in this house was more than great! We felt huge heartwarming hosting of Jens who pleasantly presented his house. It is a huge silent territory with grill and other great advantages of the house, as big rooms, big kitchen with all possible equipment. Jens apartament is a great for bigger families to celebrate their special days, as we did as well☺️

Beautiful home with spacious garden and a large music collection. There were a lot of good albums in between! Furthermore, it has all the comforts and the beds were lovely. A day trip to Copenhagen is easy and cheap to do by train.

I don’t want to give the place a top review as others may find this lovely getaway! If you like character and a great location (beach with a quick train to central Copenhagen) then look no further. Everyone had a thoroughly great time.

Great location and had everything we needed for the few days we were there.

We had a great time in Majs house. Everything was clean and there were plenty of nice toys for our two small children. Quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the harbor. A nice collection of books, mostly in Danish. Our communication with Maj was very good. Highly recommended.

We have had a super holiday in Morten and Tanja's house. Lovely house and sheltered garden with trampoline that was used extensively. 5 min walk to great beach, and 10 min to grocery stores and eateries. We also used the local train to visit Copenhagen several times, 10 min walk to the station and 30 min by train allowed us to combine beach with city life. Tanja and Morten welcomed us in person and we have really felt welcome in this house. Highly recommend:)

We had a great time in this beautiful house! The neighborhood was very quiet – and there’s a parking space right in front of the house ☺️ The house was very bright (many windows), and very spacious! A lovely designer home, just like in the pictures ☺️ We really loved the amenities (high-quality sound system, well-equipped kitchen, hot tub). Everything was ready for us when we arrived: the pool was preheated, candles were lit in the garden… The host responds quickly and is available for any questions. We felt very comfortable and at home! We often drove to the nearest train station to get to Copenhagen. That way, we didn’t have to worry about finding a parking spot or paying overpriced parking fees.

Tastefully renovated 1930s house in quiet street . House was neatly clean upon arrival. Fast WiFi . Good coffee ! Absolute recommendation as far as I'm concerned
