Situated on a private 4ha rural property on the flanks of Mt Parakiore viewing the Whangarei Harbour, our new, stand-alone cottage is inviting guests to relax on the deck spotting our local Kahu flying by. Just a short drive from the Cape Brett Track, it’s perfect for scenic coastal hikes. Russell’s historic village, cafes, and waterfront are only 25 minutes away. Beautiful beaches including Oke Bay, Elliots Bay and Taupiri Bay are an easy 15‑minute drive.

Our cabin is a cosy retreat set in our garden. It has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It is only 20 minutes from central Whangarei and 10 minutes from Kamo, Maungatapere and SH1 so if you are travelling it would be great a place to stay. Our garden cabin would be suitable for very good value medium to long term stays.

We have a new modern two bedroom home with amazing views out to The Poor Knights Islands and over looking Dolphin Bay.There are many beautiful bays and interesting bush walks all within 10 minutes travel of our property.The Tutukaka Marina is a 5 minute drive where there are resturants and local shops.

Wai Rua The Cottage

The Cottage at Wai Rua, west of Whangarei, is approximately 18 minutes drive from Kamo via Pipiwai Road. It is a hidden gem with amazing rural views, including massive volcanic rocks, lakes and ponds, set in a beautiful tranquil garden. It can be a getaway retreat or stopover.

The Little House

The Little House is a small, cosy, cottage in the quite, rural area of Purua ,just 30 min from Whangarei CBD, being surrounded by nature, farm animals and wildlife such as Kiwi Birds and Morepork which you can hear every night, creates a scenic and comfortable stay.
