The priory washhouse

In the heart of the Sarthe Perche in Sceaux sur Huisne, a water town in Roman times, behind the church with its very special bell tower, is the washhouse of "the priory farm". This small building and its basin fed by a spring are part of a very preserved and green space. A hundred meters below are the remains of the Gallo-Roman baths. The room was installed in an old washhouse dating from the 15th century, so we offer you a night "on the waterfront".

Our residence is 1 kilometer away from the center of Ecommoy.. It's a very quiet place to have some rest. The 24 hours motor race circuit is just 10 kilometers far and the magnificent forest of Bercé is very close. ECOMMOY is on the highway A28 (Le Mans-Tours) exit 25.
