Monthly Rentals in Rumson

We are locals who needed a place to stay for a month. The carriage house is in a beautiful area with nature surrounding it and an unbelievable river view. You can walk out the door and hike through Hartshorne trails. The house is very comfortable and has everything you may need. Heather is a great host; friendly, communicative and accommodating. Perfect location for a quick get away and so thrilled we could bring our furry loved ones. Eoin was kind and prompt with communication. The location is walking distance to all you could need. It was a quiet and peaceful few days.

Absolutely adorable place…super clean & great location!! Christine was super to work with & left so many little odds & ends that you may need…Being outdoor people we would have loved it if the porch was set up for us to use.

Andrea’s place exceeded our expectations given the reasonable price point. The space was very much private and perfect for us as we were looking for a location along the Jersey Shore for Memorial Day Weekend. Sandy Hook Beach & National Recreation Center was an easy 7-8 minute drive. There were also numerous bars, restaurants, and coffee shops within walking range (15-20 minutes). There was a very small beach called Miller Beach that was a fun place for us to play some games and catch the sunset before dinner as well. If you are looking for a reliable host and walkable / short drive to Jersey Shore elements without the craziness of overpopulated, uncomfortable summer shenanigans at other more “popular” spots, Highlands was an excellent surprise. Good energy but not obnoxious vibes. Andrea was an excellent host and will be as available or hands off as you’d like her to be. Great stay for sure! Thanks for making our trip a memorable one!
