Very peaceful area nice and quiet and walking distance to the river. Lisa was available and very helpful with local information. We will be returning !!

If you have this place on your wish list or are considering staying here, DO IT! It's one of the most amazing AirBNBs we've ever stayed at. The home is lovely, the location was spectacular and the pool just takes the cake. We were a group of two families (4 adults and 4 kids aged 2-8) Plenty of room for all of us. We visited during a time of bad weather which was fine because the house is so cozy and there was plenty for us to do at the property. The location is the perfect launch pad for lots of outdoor adventures. On the days we stayed in, the kids were easily able to busy themselves with all the activities and games in the house. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked well enough to support the meals we made! We stopped in Redding on the way in to get our groceries (as a heads up there isn't a grocery store nearby!) The neighbor was so helpful and even had some firewood available for us when we arrived. Can't wait to come back!

Our family had a wonderful time at Heidi and Steph's place to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Heidi and Steph really made us feel like at home. They're the most wonderful hosts we've ever met. The view from the front porch, facing the river, is beautiful. Great place for fishing and enjoying the beauty of nature. We caught 6 trouts in two days. Yay! Thank you for showing us the spots and for everything else that made our trip an amazing one.

Me and my partner had an amazing time, so much so we’re already planning our return!Falling asleep to the waterfall sounds was the cherry on top of our whole experience. Thank you thank you thank you a million times over!

We are a large group of fishermen and wanted to be together. Bens place provided that. we fished all day and gathered for the evening meal and talk about the day Then leave at O dark 30 to go fishing in the morning. They have 4 BBQs and smokers large covered entertaining area. plenty of parking for boats and trucks. Plenty of room to find a place to sleep and a few guys brought cots and sleeping bags to sleep. overall it was a great experience.

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable & nicely furnished. The yard, hot tub, upstairs & downstairs deck/patio areas were wonderful. I loved seeing a variety of wildlife. I also liked the privacy aspect, being at the end of a long, separate driveway in a quiet area. A very peaceful & pleasant stay, with a cute little park nearby. I appreciated the host's clear instructions regarding location & check out. I will absolutely be back. Thanks so much for your hospitality and the lovely visit.

Alden's place really deserves 10 stars. It is so well taken care of. The shower, the kitchen, the porch, everything is great and the bed sooo comfortable. Super clean! Pristine hot tub. Quiet unit and area. Did not hear anything from the people in the unit next door. Heating and cooling are quiet and quick. Walk less than five minutes to a couple of very good restaurants. And so close to all the redwood attractions. Hard to beat.

My family and I loved the green cabin, even in the rain! We visited, played board games and watched movies provided. The layout of property is perfect. Lots of comfy beds, generous seating on couch and table. We are already planning our next stay!

There aren’t a lot of reasonably-priced places to stay in the area, and this facility met all my expectations and then some. This RV campground is great for kids - it has a pool, game room with a couple of arcade games (bring quarters), mini golf and I think a frisbee course. We didn’t stay long enough to use them, but my kids would have been thrilled to have a day just to play. The cabin itself was just as advertised, clean and fine for 3-4 people. The kitchen had a microwave and mini fridge, but no stove. That was fine, since I just used our camp stove outside on the picnic table. Downsides - 5$ a load for the washing machine, and it only took quarters. A change machine would be nice for when the office is closed. There were two massive generators on wheels running on the property, so I suspect something was wrong with the electrical service. I was appreciative of the electricity, but they were LOUD! Otherwise, I enjoyed our stay, and would come here again.

We had great stay at Jason's place. He was very prompt with his responses as we were trying to get more information before booking the place. I really appreciate him helping us reach safely. On the checkout day, we locked ourselves out with some items left behind. We were not able to find person in-charge at the location as we had checked-in late and were not sure how to get help as there was no phone signal and had very spotty internet. We also couldn't find the office front dorr as all lights were off and we were not sure if there was anyone available. Eventually after 30 mins and talking to couple maintenance folks, we got hold of lady who thankfully helped us get our personal items back. I wish they had more clear instructions provided in cabin/outside/at front on how to get help or reach property manager as it is very difficult to reach anyone online/on call. But apart from that, we really enjoyed out stay and would definitely recommend anyone who are looking for a cozy getaway.

Stayed at a cabin for the long weekend around Valentine's day. Wonderful property and location, right on the river. Charles is a wonderful host and helped out with local recommendations. Great place for a weekend getaway, pretty close to Richardson's Grove State Park, Humboldt as well. Avenue of the Giants is like a 20 minute drive away and it is right on the US 101.

Such a beautiful spot! The cabin is rustic but cozy and charming. The host was so communicative and helpful. We had a great stay.

My dog and I only stayed overnight but the cabin was a perfect stop off when traveling up 101! It’s right off the highway but feels very secluded. Amazing amenities with the washer/dryer and exercise room, though we didn’t need them this time; we did enjoy eating outside in the central picnic area. Charles was super responsive and flexible and I always appreciate a place that welcomes dogs without tons of restrictions. I’d definitely stay again and encourage anyone to book :)

I’ve been coming up to the avenue of the giants for years and this is by far the nicest place to stay in the area. The cottage is spotless, modern and welcoming. The amenities are top notch and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. They did a fantastic job with this place, absolutely wonderful place to stay for a few days while exploring the giant redwoods and swimming in the river.

The Round House is a great place to stay. We stayed here over a weekend with 5 adults and the experience was wonderful. The private river access and pool are nice opportunities. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to stay.

This place exceeded our expectations, Ryan was so helpful and such a good host! The lake is walking distance and you can view it from the cabins. There was lots of wildlife around and it had the most beautiful views! I highly recommend this place if you have a big group of people, it’s great for kids and adults even a small group it’s very peaceful! Definitely coming back!!!

The house is beautiful - clean and welcoming - we felt right at home! The kitchen is well equipped - and part of the great room that looks out onto the river - The beds are big and comfortable - very luxurious - If you are not familiar with the area- Wi-Fi is spotty - but that is par for the course when you are out this far - There is Ping pong and games to keep everyone entertained- We will definitely book again!

A very comfortable little place in a stunningly beautiful location. It has all of the amenities you would need or want, and it’s not as isolated as it seems, Willow Creek is a 15 minute drive (barring road work on 299). Very comfortable furniture, fast WiFi, surprisingly roomy inside. The hosts are very friendly and quick to respond. Seems like a nice little sleepy family neighborhood. The Trinity Alps are amazing and this is a great place to stay while you explore the area.

This was my first experience at a cabin at a remote places. Home was clean and well stocked with necessary supplies. Hosts communicated really well and overall it was a very pleasant experience!

If you're looking for a nice mountain cabin with amenities, near some of NorCals best fishing waters look no further. Couldn't have had a better time. Clean, comfortable and family friendly. looking forward to returning.

This is a lovely home where the owner has generously shared the use of what is obviously a lifetime of happiness... Including great movies, music, comfortable furniture, and more. Felt like home!
