Hagland Havhytter consists of 2 cabins and is located north of the city of Haugesund (15 minutes drive) on the west coast of Norway. The cabins are located about 100 meters apart. Haugesund is located between Stavanger in the south (2 hours drive) and Bergen in the north (3 hours drive). From the cabin you have fantastic views of rough, untouched nature with heather, rocks and open sea. Hønsehus Nedre Snartemo Farm

You will spend the night in the immediate vicinity of Snartemobekken which is a tributary of the river Lygna where the salmon play. Nedre Snartemo is an old farm with a barn that is under restoration. On the farm there are traces of settlement from the pre-Roman Iron Age and all the way to our time. The famous Snartemo sword was found just 200 meters away - in other words, you live in the middle of history. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

The cabin is located a bit by itself on the edge of a farm, beautifully situated on the slope down towards the idyllic Riskedalsvatnet. From the dining table or terrace there are views of the water. The cabin is built late in the 1980s, but is completely newly renovated with modern color choices in 2020. You will find everything you need in this cabin.
