Fontecchio is a town with a medieval layout and appearance, located in the heart of the Sirente Velino Park. The Torricina is one of the towers that controlled the Aterno Valley from the southern corner of the walls, with a spectacular view of the green and silent valley of the Aterno River.

The nearest neighbor is 200m away, so with the exception of the occasional friendly farmer on his tractor, you are able to enjoy the blissful peacefulness of country living.

Rest, nature and tradition among olive groves and renowned wineries overlooking the mountains of Abruzzo. Straddling the sea and mountains, it's a great starting point for exploring the area. A few kilometers from the main highway connections and the historic center of Nocciano. Possibility of horseback riding and cycling along the Nora river. A visit to the castle of Nocciano and the hamlet of Villa Badessa, a center of Greco-Byzantine culture, is interesting.
