Our cottage "La Vallée de Charbes" is located on the ground floor of our house and is independent. It is equipped with all comforts. We are located in a quiet area 3 km from the center of Lalaye, in the middle of the mountains near the forest, hiking trails and ideally located for visiting the Wine Route, Sélestat is located (25 min), Strasbourg (1 hr), Colmar (40 min), Kaysersberg, Haut Koenigsbourg, Mont-st Odile: Parks: Cigoland, Montagne des Singes, Volerie des Aigles, Acro Branches Park, Europa Park 1 hr away.

The "Barn" is is part of an old "forgeron" or blacksmith's property - it has been lovingly renovated to preserve all of it's original charm whilst providing an idillic setting to discover the Alsace wine route. Comprising of 2 generous master bedrooms with en-suite and a large open-plan living / dining and kitchen area on the ground floor leading out onto a wooden deck , perfect for enjoying the Alsace climate and local wine . At the foot of Mont Sainte-Odile, Obernai, Mittelbergheim (classified village) are only a 5-minute drive away. For nature lovers, many trails are directly accessible from the cottage.
