DnA's place has scenic views, it is very clean and well-equipped. The stay was wonderful. Highly recommended!!!! Excellent space, awesome hosts.

This was our first time using Airbnb and we could not ask for a more perfect place to stay. The pool house is exactly what we needed. I love that we didn't have to worry about parking or safety with it being gated. And the views were breath taking!! In addition, it was a very private with our own private entrance and so quiet. The bed was super comfortable we slept like babies. We had everything we needed such as fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We had the true 5 star hotel experience.

This AirBnB place was absolutely amazing! We had the best time and ended our road trip round USA perfectly here. Everything was just great. The view was amazing, the pool house was really clean and private and Alex and Dennis was so helpful. We really enjoyed the possibility to just relax in such a vibrant city as L.A. Hands down - best AirBnB experience ever. We will recommend this to anybody going to L.A.

Such a gorgeous way to spend our time in LA - great hosts and great place! We arrived in the evening and were greeted immediately (we were slightly insane after no sleep and 13 hr flight). The apartment was great and Dennis and Alex were on hand when we needed them. Fab pool which we had to ourselves throughout, well equip kitchen and nice bathroom. Comfy bed and cute private patio. We can't fault this place and would definitely stay again! Ps, very sweet dogs.

It was beautiful, fwlt like home away from home. Loved that they provided so much for tennants. Shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body wash, beach towels, a few snacks, and drinks. It was so nice not to have to pack all of that. If i didn't read the reviews I would have missed those details!! But loved it and will definitely stay there again.

Had a lovely time at d&a pool house! We went to Vegas so spent 3 days out of the 5 there. But we would stay here again! The views are beautiful, I love the location! We felt very safe it was too cold to go in the pool. We do wish we got to enjoy the place to its fullest but we had so much to do so little time. I would recommend giving it a try! The house is a little gem the view made it very special. Didn't meet the hosts but communication was brilliant. Thank you for the wine and chocolates... Much appreciated!

I hesitate to write a review of this slice of paradise, because I want it all to myself! If I had the money, I would buy the property. A truly incredible experience here. Located a mere 15 - 20 minutes from downtown, but feeling quite cozy and secluded in the hills, this pool house comes with a secluded, private back yard with chairs, a couch, a dining table, and a grill (which we used nightly). Neighbors are nearby, but with the tree-lined fences, you will not see nor hear them. It's in a residential area, but feels like a resort. The pool has a stone texture bottom to it that's unique and lovely. We came in February, so the water was never warm enough to swim in, but the hot tub warms up in 30 minutes, and we were in that nightly! Wonderful view of the stars from that hot tub. Amazing view of the hills. Everything is incredibly clean, and the choice of the furnishings in the Asian-styled pool house were elegant and smart. We ran out of the propane in the grill, and the owners had a replacement for us in 10 minutes. I went with my lady for her Birthday / Valentines week celebration, and this was a perfect romantic spot. Great for either couples or families. There's no reason to ever get a hotel downtown with this place so near.

The Pool House of DnA is well located and close to the highways which is very convenient. The view is beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and the private patio. The Pool House has all the elements necessary for a good stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay in Colette's beautiful, cozy loft. It was lovelier than I expected. Colette was flexible, kind and accommodating. Would love to stay again!

While my friend and I were only in LA for one night, Colette's place was a great spot for us to stay. The flat was very cute and clean and more spacious than the pictures even showed. It was also nice to have a designated parking space. Communication with the hosts was fantastic and they were very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Colette was great and met us at the parking lot. The apartment was exactly as described and everything was very put together. We only stayed for one night but it was exactly what we needed and was more cost effective than staying in a hotel. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if in LA.

Mathias was waiting for me to arrive and helped me carry my suitcase up the stairs (there are many, as he warns!). He was very nice and gave a great introduction to the guest house and features. Mathias also invited me to dinner and was available my entire stay if I had questions or needed help with anything. The unit is exactly as pictured and is extremely comfortable. It also feels very safe tucked up at the top of one of the hill streets. The view is wonderful and it's a very relaxing place. I took advantage of the location and hiked to the Hollywood sign. It was exactly what I was looking for - a nice relaxing getaway, embodying the charm of Hollywood Hills exactly. Mathias takes great care in maintaining the unit and ensuring it is clean and comfortable. It was fantastic!

This is your place. Uniquely LA guest house (great views, outdoor shower, design-minded decor). I am a maniac about cleanliness and this place cleared my bar. Mathias could not be warmer or more flexible. I arrived very late and he was so gracious. I was also a woman, traveling alone, and felt very safe. This place makes you feel like you're living like a local--just much better than you could actually afford.

This place is amazing. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this little gem. Mathias was an excellent host. We will definitely comeback.

This was the best airbnb stay I have ever had. The apartment is absolutely beautifully designed and a total refuge after a long day in the wilds of LA. The location is about as central as you want to be and everything from the fittings to the super comfy bed was exactly what I needed. These guys are a really sweet family and there was a good separation between the studio and the main house but it was a delight to see them when we ran into each other. And don't even get me started about the projector screen! Best way to chill at the end of a long day was to punch up a movie and sit back on the couch with my own personal cinema. I couldn't recommend this place more highly. The only downside to my stay was that I feel like I may never find a better airbnb!!!! Love these guys.

Michael's place is amazing. We put up a family member visiting in LA there and we went to hang out ourselves! It's so comfortable you almost don't want to leave. Plus, the access to Los Feliz, Franklin Village and Griffith Park...there's a lot to do by foot just in the area. Highly recommend!

Our stay was great. Mike made it very easy to check in and was available when we needed anything. The place was very cute and welcoming. Great location with easy access to anything we needed. Car services were immediately accessible to get where we needed and food delivery was a breeze.

Michael and Kayren are lovely hosts and extremely accommodating. They have a beautiful little family and a sweet dog. The apartment is extremely clean and comfortable. The bedding is fantastic. I found the place to be extremely quiet which allowed me to sleep well. Parking is a little tricky, but it really did not pose a problem. It is street parking only, so one must take extra care not to get a parking citation, but such is life in LA. I would highly recommend this bungalow.

The location is very far from central LA and with LA traffic I would not recommend this location. There is no parking and it is difficult to find parking. The host has a large driveway and yet they do not allow guests to park in their drive. We received over $200 US in parking tickets. The actual space is well appointed, but not worth the parking issue.

We stayed at Jessie's cottage behind her house in Silver Lake. We went to LA by car and could easily park it on Jessie's driveway which was perfect for us. Our stay could not have been better. The cottage was super cosy and is located in a nice area close to good restaurants and bars. If we go back to LA again we would definitly stay here again.

The cottage was exactly as advertised. The off street parking was a real advantage and the amenities in the bathroom were great! You can't beat the location and the space is perfect for two people. I highly recommend if you're looking for a clean and convenient place to stay in LA.

We received an email with all the conditions for access and rules of the house, we would have preferred an explanation with site visit because during a trip abroad we have not always internet access. There is a parking place and the cottage is fantastic. The decor is very neat and Jessie leaves several small intentions such as water in a fridge and beer, coffee, tea, and very good cosmetic shower. The neighborhood is fine, calm is central.

The Sanborn Cottage was the cutest home away from home, my friend and I felt very safe staying there and it was the perfect starting point to get to anywhere. The aesthetic of the cottage was meticulously well pull together, although I would recommend a full body mirror but that was quite inconsequential. We didn't get to meet Jessie, but there was no need, we had everything we needed. Most likely will be staying there again in the future

Lovely quiet little place. Very comfortable with a nice outdoor space. If you like pets the Chickens are the friendliest. Phyllis called on us In the Morning. Added pleasure was watching the hummingbirds. Walkway is a little tricky so be mindful and sure footed and you will have no problem.

Such an amazing, relaxing space and such a great, walkable neighborhood. I found Kevin and Sara's place by accident and ended up extending my trip for several extra nights! Having stayed in dozens of airbnbs I cannot recommend these guys or their space enough. I especially loved the chickens!!! I could go on and on but honestly just book this lovely little gem and you'll see for yourself :)

Despite lots of rain we had a wonderful stay. Our 4 year old loved the chickens. The guesthouse was like a cozy little cabin. Nothing fancy but it had everything we needed, even umbrellas to walk to all the shops and restaurants nearby. Sarah was available to help us at all times and was very welcoming.

Sara and Kevin's cute whimsical guest house was adorable and romantic! I booked a one night stay here hoping to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday because I really loved their backyard. Sadly the weather didn't allow me to use their backyard grill or enjoy the backyard but we still had a lovely time here. Sara is so nice and accommodating and Kevin was very helpful and warm greeting my boyfriend and I. The backyard has a chicken and its very sweet and nice. We were welcomed with a nice clean bed and like everyone said, the shower can be a bit tricky in getting hot water. The smallest knob (front) you will have to turn it to the right to have hot water but it doesn't take too long. Our stay was furnished with a microwave, kitchen area, utensils and dinnerware, towels (and many which is good), soaps, hair gel and spray, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioners, you name it and I'm sure they have it. Whats also great about this place was the location and how close and walking distance it was to York street. Overall I would come back here again if I was staying in the area. Love it here and thank you Sara and Kevin!

My husband and I only stayed two nights, but Qiao was super friendly and inviting. The room was clean, cozy, and private, located conveniently close to downtown Burbank where we went to eat almost every meal. Qiao was also very responsive to our messages. We were running a little low on toilet paper one of the evenings and, within minutes of messaging her, she came to the door with two big rolls! We loved this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet, stay in Burbank :)

Qiao is very responsive and flexible. We had a good experience with good privacy and with good care of guest's need. Some tips for the upcoming guest is to sleep on the closet side of the bed so you will not awake by the squeaking sound from the bed. Or if you can sleep still, it will be just fine for you. The heater, fridge and microwave is very useful. Thank you!

Qiao's place was perfect for a night of rest during our travels. The room is in a little building behind the main house. Since no walls are shared, the room is very quiet and private. The room was very clean and just as described. Qiao was very responsive to messages, and made our late arrival easy. The only drawback for me was the bed was a bit firm for me. My husband liked it though, so that's just a matter of personal taste.

Perfectly clean and nice little cottage with lovely shower/bathroom. The bed is extremely comfortable with soft linens. We met Qiao once - a sweet person, with her children. This is a quiet suburban neighborhood about 6 blocks from a lively downtown area. When we had a minor issue, she quickly texted a response. The room is very minimal. For a one week stay we could have used some drawers, a couple of plates and cutlery for our breakfast of bread and cheese.

This was a perfect place to stay in the Burbank area. It's nice, quiet, and a great deal for the price. I would definitely stay there again.

Dave was a great host and welcomed us when we arrived. We were not at the house much as we had a day and night in Universal Studios set. However we enjoyed the time we did spend in the house. It was a great neighborhood, clean house, and a very comfortable bed. We'd happily stay here again. It was a plus having such sweet dogs to welcome us each time we came back to the house as well.

This was my second stay with Dave. House and room are still great. Fantastic location and price. His dogs are still adorable and friendly. Would highly recommend Dave's place for a couple who is looking to tour universal studios and other LA attractions.

We had a great stay at Dave's! As LA natives who sometimes need to come back home for a couple of days, his place provided the true LA experience we love. It's in a quiet, residential neighborhood where you can get a good night's sleep, but near a lot of the things we needed to do. While so many houses of this vintage have been desecrated by the granite and steel "renovations" of the artificial property boom cycles, his house still looks like the homes we grew up in. Dave has kept it in vintage character, with good maintenance of what's needed without taking out what's historic and irreplaceable. You feel like you're at home, and have access to a nice portion of the house, including living room and kitchen use, and there are two sweet dogs to keep you company. A nice touch which you almost never see is Incandescent lighting in the rooms! It's great to relax under healthy lighting, while most people are using harsh, white, deadly CFL bulbs. It added to the already pleasant and homey atmosphere. Will book again!

Just one word: perfect! :D We had a nice welcome and Dave did everything to make our stay as good as possible. Our room was nice and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and we were allowed to use the living room and kitchen. Bonus feature: Dave's two friendly dogs :)

This apartment is in such a convenient area if you need to get around the Burbank and Glendale area. It's spacious, accommodating, peaceful, and feels like home. Brendan's a great host is quick to answer any questions you have.

The apartment was in a great area, close to everything. Close to the studios. It's great for two but a bit squashed for more, though there was an airbed which was nice. Lovely neighbourhood.

Our host was incredibly easy to reach and communicate with and made our stay a breeze. The neighborhood was cute and safe and right across from stores and a Starbucks which was great. Easy and free parking on the driveway made it even better.

Apartment well located in Burbank, quiet residence and shops nearby. The apartment was very clean, well equipped. We always found a place to park on the street. easily have been contacted hosts even if we do not see them. Only downside to the TV, you need an Apple account to watch.

This is a great, simple, accommodation. There is one flight of stairs and some street noise, but the room is comfortable. This is a perfect place if you just need a good, quiet, place to sleep and cleanup while in Burbank. As an aside, great donuts at Dad's at Victory & Buena Vista.

Wonderful time! We ubered most places because there's not a whole within walking distance. Greg and Janna were super accommodating for us. I would recommend it.

What a great, unique, affordable place to stay in L.A.! We really enjoyed the fireplace, the convenient and quiet location, the absence of a TV (reading time!), and all the magical, fantasy-themed decor. I spent a good half an hour just studying the D&D miniatures in the display case. Sarah and Mike were very pleasant, welcoming hosts, and I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.

Sarah and Mike were amazing hosts-- it's always a little nerve wracking staying in someone else's space but they were very communicative and helpful in getting us checked in and settled. And the room itself. WOW! My husband and I are avid Renn Faire / RPG / Nerds and this place was AMAZING. The level of detail makes the space completely immersive! It has all of the modern amenities-- excellent bathroom w/shower, kitchen with all the essentials, A/C unit (which was surprisingly quiet!). We can't wait to come back and stay in this space, and maybe even spend more time in the beautiful patio area! Loved every second of it!

Location was within minutes of load of attractions in the Burbank and Hollywood area. Studio was clean most definitely unique! For those who are into Medieval décor will be in heaven. Studio was quiet, had the necessary amenities, and much appreciated air conditioning. Would stay again if I found myself in the area again.

The studio apartment is EXACTLY as depicted on Irma's page: clean, spacious, comfortable, private, and all with a fantastic view of the city. In addition, Irma provides more than sufficient storage space, toiletries, and other comforts you'd typically find in hotel accommodations. We were extremely satisfied with apartment during our stay! Furthermore, Irma was extremely warm and welcoming from the time we booked her apartment until the time we checked out! She even went out of her way to provide a birthday card for my boyfriend when she found out that was the reason for our weekend visit to LA. You won't find this level of hospitality even at 5-star hotels. Hope we made as great an impression on her as she did on us! We'll definitely be back!

We arrived and found a parking spot on the street right outside the gate that lead into the backyard where the unit we were staying was located. The key was where Jennifer told us it would be. We were able to get our things dropped off and go get things set up for the wedding ceremony we were there for. No problems with us coming and going. LOVED the cat!! Wish it hadn't rained so we could have played with the cat more. :D

Jennifer's place is a wonderful home which is animal friendly and safe to live in. About a 10min walk to Glenoaks Bus stop and 20-30 min walk from Burbank Town. Close to many of the studios. The house is very tidy. The kitchen is not like a modern kitchen it has not been renovated like other parts of the house. The guest room is nice. There is a queen size bed and curtains. The cookware is slightly outdated and may burn when heated too much. The back yard is great and has a pool. Staying in the guest house? Its a nice quiet place. Small but comfortable. Shower is ok. Delighful host who will fix any household problem you encounter. If the cat is in at night remember to barricade the cat flap so he doesn't escape. If you don't want to get scratched by the cat I suggest not wearing blue jeans. Overall a positive experience.

Me and a friend had a very great time staying at Jennifer's house. Clean, warm, and homey. Backyard was great place to drink coffee and look at the view. I recommend to everyone that likes a comfortable bed and a nice place to stay, to stay here!

I liked the vintage look of the home but the bathroom was unclean and stuffy. I had to open a window. The bedroom was messy and felt overwhelming. Also, the bedroom door had no lock. The bed was comfy and I slept ok considering I was away from home.
