This place changes you. It’s the most beautiful and relaxing cabin and every detail takes this place from a house to a home. We felt like we moved in for 2 days and had no worries! It’s so clean and you can just feel the love that was put into making it. The hot tub was the perfect place to relax or have your morning coffee while watching the view of the snow, lake and trees surrounding you. The kitchen was full of everything you need to make any meal your heart desires. There are plenty of markets in Newport - about an 8min drive away. Thanks for the Pick and Shovel recommendation! It was a great store that had everything you need and we picked up a nice pair of snow pants and some cute slippers to wear in the treehouse. The bed was so comfortable! The shower was refreshing and we loved the tea tree shampoo and conditioner. And finally, the homemade waffles. The Apple are our favorite and they ended the trip on the best note.

This was such an amazing get a away. We were blown away by the Treehouse. Everything was clean and neat. The scenery was amazing, being surrounded by nature and watching the snow fall while drinking your morning coffee was sublime. All the personal touches really made it so cozy and unique, all they're hard work and craftmanship were noticeable. From the hot tub to the waffles, everything was great. Andrew was very helpful and answered all our questions about the treehouse and whats around town with no problem. If you're looking for the perfect nature get away, you've found it! The trip is worth it.

Andrew met us when we arrived late from Buffalo. He showed us around and told us a little bit about the place before he left. The tree house was absolutely beautiful. Pushed far off the road where you can’t hear any cars or trucks. The snow made the hot tub so enjoyable. Fireplace was a great touch. We played board games that were up in the bedroom and went to some of the local restaurants that Andrew recommended for dinner. I know this place is booked out a full year in advance but I’d do it all over again and plan to. BOOK THIS PLACE NOW

A perfect, adorable cabin. Clean and meticulously organized. A fun tree swing. Not as buggy as we expected. Convenient to Lake Willoughby but off the beaten path. The cutest, cleanest outhouse ever.

This place is a haven. You feel as if you're in your own magical world, a world that (thank you Amy and Fire Guru!) has been very thoughtfully arranged. The cabin, though small, feels inviting, cozy, and comforting, with everything in its right place. A stream runs nearby (a one minute walk into the forest) for a cool morning dip, and the lake is a pretty drive away (perhaps three minutes). I am eager to return!

Amy & Brian's cabin is one of the most magical places we've had the pleasure of staying. Not only is the cabin perfect, but the property it lies on is absolutely gorgeous. Think old growth apple trees under a deep blue sky, with a nice breeze blowing through the open field. It's off the beaten path, making it truly private, while also being just up the road from the lake and other amenities. The cabin itself was easy to find and even easier to relax into. It's one of those places where you just immediately feel at home. The care and planning that went into the property is quite apparent, with a beautiful (seriously) outhouse, outdoor solar shower, large stone-lined fire pit, picnic table w/ umbrella, chairs, wash basin, etc. There are mini gardens scattered about and birds chirping. It's truly a happy place to be. The nighttime revealed one of the clearest skies we've seen in a LONG time, with countless shooting stars. The spiral arms of the Milky Way were very visible. A thunderstorm rolled in around bedtime and lulled us to sleep. The sleeping loft has two large windows that push open so you can keep them open even during the rain. Like other reviews mention, the battery powered LED lighting (candles/led strips) are generously located in every nook of the cabin, along with solar lighting in front of the outhouse, making it more than easy to find your way outside or hang out and play card games in the cabin at night. Even if Lake Willoughby wasn't 5 minutes down the road, this place would be worth a stay, but seeing that the lake is so close, it just adds to the allure. We easily popped our kayak into the lake at the closest boat launch and adventured for hours. A quick trip to Lyndonville offered a wonderful diner for breakfast as well as lunch at a delicious deli/store, along with a little resupply at a local market. Do not hesitate to stay here. Unplug, relax, and revitalize.

A great place to get away from it all. Amy’s tiny house was beautiful and felt like you had your own private oasis. Our time here flew by and we will definitely return to see this property in the winter.

We had a fabulous wintertime vacation experience at Jean and Bob's place. The house is clean and cozy and had absolutely everything we needed waiting for us. We felt welcomed with all of the thoughtful touches. Access to the lake was easy and wonderful. The windows are placed perfectly and give you a great view of both the lake and the woods. We use AirBnB all the time for work and vacation and we had are best experience yet!

Jean and Bob are very welcoming. The chalet is very comfortable. The only problem was the wood stove on the ground floor, while the open area is on the second. The location is perfect. There is a trail behind the house in the forest which allows you to walk long enough.

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage! Jean and Bob were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to be sure we could arrive in the snow by letting us come a day early, and even offered to help if we needed food or anything else after being snowed in. The kitchen had everything we needed and more to cook our own meals, and the wood stove was perfect and cozy for staying indoors on snowy days.

Although this trip was just for the weekend, it was one of my favorite places I've stayed yet (and I do a lot of traveling!). Jean & Bob made me feel like I was part of their family. I did a solo trip- just me and my pup- and we felt safe and welcomed the entire time. The home is cozy with magnificent views just all around. The lake is gorgeous, and the beautiful views from the bedrooms are wonderful as well. Excellent location, near many cute towns- very picturesque. The home has everything you need- even beer in the fridge! They also left treats for my pup. Snow boot Yak Traks too were left for me too, so I could walk in the snow (definitely buying some now). Jean left me little sticky notes for info and a local newspaper to learn more. They thought of it all. Kitchen has all of your cooking needs too. If you go to town and take the time to meet locals, you will have a chance to hear great stories and learn about local art and businesses. The nicest people you will ever meet - hands down. This town and area is a serious hidden gem. If you are scrolling past this and still considering, don't wait- just book. I am already looking at my calendar for when I can return. Very quaint and private space. We stayed at Jean & Bob's during the winter - it was a lovely experience and they were very accommodating. I can imagine it would be a great stay in the Fall, too. Great location right next to a huge lake, with various shops and restaurants just outside the neighborhood. Makes for an easy day trip to Montreal or Magog. House is very cozy with a fireplace and a wealth of sunlight. Highly recommend this stay and hope to be back soon!

Highly recommended for a quiet escape!

Our family had such a wonderful time at Jean and Bob's place. It was a quaint and homey cabin with a breathtaking view. It felt like we were staying with family instead of strangers. The hosts are next door and were there to help us with anything we needed, but weren't intrusive. The house is stocked with everything. It was perfect for us and our two littles. We spent a lot of time on the deck with the fire pit and down by the lake. There's plenty of cute towns to check out. We made day trips to Jay mountain tram, Cabot factory, Ben and Jerry's factory, and q maple syrup farm. Lake Willoughby beach was gorgeous. We kind of fell in love with Vermont and may have to come back again to see the fall colors. This was a wonderful chance to disconnect from everything and spend quality time with family affordably. Thank you for the hospitality!

It was a bit of a trek after a foot of snow but honestly not bad at all and we have 4wd but didn’t need it. Seriously transported! We had a fabulous stay. We had a long drive and just needed a quiet evening. It was snowing and beautiful! The dogs are very cute. They listen to their owners well. The room is like a small apartment. Very comfy bed and couch. Cute desk. And great view of tree line. I recommend a snowy stay! Bathroom is down stairs which could be a problem for some but not for us!

Great cozy place!

Amazing.

Elizabeth was an incredible host. She is truly pet friendly and the place is super cute! Did you know their walls are made of straw?! Strawbale construction?? Super cool! The house was well insulated from the freezing winter weather and the woodburning stove kept us nice and cozy throughout our stay. We bonded over The Office on Netflix and she even let our doggo out while we went skiing. Oh and her doggos, May and Shep, were super sweet and loving. Will definitely be back!

This place is amazing!! It is as beautiful, rustic and cozy as it appears in the pictures. Heated floors, fireplace fully stocked with firewood, very clean and well-maintained. Michelle is an extremely responsive and detailed hostess. One warning: if you go in winter DEFINITELY bring a 4WD or AWD vehicle. We went with 2 cars: a mini-cooper and a subaru impreza, and only the impreza made it to the house. Bonus: we skiied down the driveway. Thanks Michelle. We will be back in the fall :)

We were looking for a place off the beaten path and we found it! The cabin is so unique with all the comforts of home and the best fireplace we’ve ever seen! Our daughter LOVED the loft. We loved the spacious living area! Our dog loved the freedom to run around outside uninhibited. Michelle was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We all look forward to visiting again!

We enjoyed three nights at this wonderful cabin. Upon arrival, our initial reaction was that the pictures do not do it justice!! Great location that is very remote and peaceful. The cabin was everything we expected and more.

Fantastic house to get away from it all. We came here in the middle of winter. The house is toasty warm with underfloor heating and an amazing log fire. You'll need a proper 4wd to get to get up the snowy road in winter. The house is dog friendly too which is nice and our dogs had a great time running around outside. Michelle was a great host, friendly and easy to get hold of. The house has wifi but no phone reception. There are nice walks to do a short distance away.

Had another nice stay at Mom's house (we were there last Fall). The snow and cold prevented us from doing what we had planned but Mom's house was toasty warm. It snowed for 3 days and Ron made sure we were plowed out. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the dogs loved having a safe place to run. We hope to come back in the Spring or Summer when more hiking trails are accessible.

This was by far the best Air BNB locaction I have stayed in. My father & I came up to snowmobile and this beautiful homestead is a snowmobilers paridise. The house was cute, with amazing views...you can't beat it. Farmer Ron was so generous and kind with some truck problems. He was super quick to help and make sure we were all set to go! I will be back before the snow melts for another trip!

The house was nestled at the top of a dead end road. Very quiet and breathtaking views. Sentinal Rock state park is a stones throw away. We would reccomend to anyone looking to explore Vermont's Northeat Kingdom.

Moms House When you go that far into the country, and up a dead end road you somehow disconnect, and a relaxed pace falls over you. So nice to slow down and soak in the Panoramic views of the mountains. Moms House is just like being at my grandmothers house, with every homey touch you could dream of! Super clean, smells good, comfy bed, full kitchen for meals. Debbie is very quick with responses and very reliable to set everything up perfectly for your stay at Mom’s House❤️

Sherry and Greg have a great spot! Lake Seymour is the cleanest lake in VT!!! The cabin is very cozy and has everything you need. We had a rainy cold day one of our days, and it was so nice to hunker down, cook and play games. Comfy beds, and a beautiful view. We even saw a loon! A really special part of Vermont. We’ll be back!

Sherry and Greg's camp is just beautiful! What a perfect spot for life on the lake! Sherry has everything you need and more just stocked at the camp which was a nice surprise. There are so many thoughtful touches throughout the camp, very clean and comfortable. The screened in porch is amazing on hot summer days. Can't wait to come back! Thank you!

Very nice house that corresponds perfectly to the description and photos. We enjoyed using the kayaks and the paddle board. The location of the house is exceptional.

Sherry and Greg’s lakefront camp on Seymour Lake in Morgan, Vermont is a little piece of paradise. They met us upon our arrival and they are simply good people. We immediately felt at home. The three bedroom camp is both charming and cozy- it boasts lots of vintage charm mixed with a cool, beach cottage feel. Just pack your swimsuit, beach towels and toothbrush and enjoy the private beachfront, dock, crystal clear lake water and excellent swimming, paddling, boating and fishing. The dock is a great place to read, and enjoy the passing loons, ducks, eagles and beautiful sunsets. The water is pristine and of the highest quality. You can’t go wrong renting this camp, meeting the gracious hosts and neighbors, and enjoying your lake time in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.

Great rustic cabin with a neat and homey interior and a pretty yard with flowers and lights. Everything you need to have a great time is at the cabin. Magazines, crossword puzzles, games & puzzles, campfire pit, grill, paddleboard, kayaks, nice long dock, water trampoline, plenty of floats, and a DVD collection for rainy days. Great view of the lake from the living room and screened in porch. Lake Seymour is beautiful and clean. Lake Willoughby, another gorgeous lake, is within a half hour of the camp. There are also some nice hiking options within a half-hour of the camp. We hiked Mount Pisgah, which is next to Lake Willoughby. Neighbors are close in proximity, as you would expect with a lake camp, but trees separate each camp.

You can expect a very clean, well organized camp, it was so peaceful that we never once turned on the radio, they have everything you need, just bring your food & beverage and I guarantee you will be in heaven, there neighbors on both sides were so friendly and helpful, you couldn't ask for a better host than in Sherry

This house went above and beyond my high expectations! Not only is it spacious and comfortable, but the breathtaking hilltop views are visible from nearly every room, making for a beautiful space. Our time here was 10/10, and I would definitely recommend the house to others.

Megan’s place was great for a week long getaway for me and a few friends. It’s secluded and has amazing views of lake Willoughby and the surrounding area. The house was extremely clean, came with plenty of towels and excellent internet. The pond also has a floating dock which is easy to swim out to. We loved our stay!

Wow, wow, wow!!! Absolutely Breathtaking!!! Where do we even begin... compliments truly unbounded!! Megan’s home & property are overwhelmingly stunning!! This rustic cabin is extremely clean, fabulous beds & pillows, fluffy towels, comfort surrounds you everywhere. Between the inside & outside of this home you have everything you need. The only problem is that you’ll never want to leave!!! In fact, if you ever want to sell please call us. We will definitely be back!!!

We had a truly amazing time at Megan's place, the scenery is breathtaking. The house was fully equipped with everything you could possibly ask for. All correspondence with Megan was exceptionally pleasant and detailed. I would recommend this place to anyone. An absolute gem.

Daniels place is absolutely stunning, pictures don’t quite do it justice. Although we only stayed for a night, we were instantly dreaming of future dates where we could spend an extended stay there. Cozy, warm, spacious, this place had everything we wanted. Daniel even snowblowed the driveway for us in the morning! Loved it all.

Perfect cabin for a snowy getaway

John's Cabin is one of the greatest we have been in Vermont. Everything was clearly communicated from John prior our arrival and the stay was relaxing and comfortable. The remote location , the view and the fireplaces make this place great and warm . Installation are clean and bed are very comfortable. We will get back there for sure.

If you want to be immersed in rural Vermont and get the detachment from your hectic life then Colleen and Jon's spot is the place for you. With very personal touches and quick responses to any inquiry you have expect to feel spoiled Sutton. We were hoping to rent some snowshoes to trek around the property, and our hosts provided their own - you're dealing with some genuine people to say the least. Can't give this listing a better rating, and we certainly hope to return in the future!

This place is great. This is now the second time we have stayed here and we plan to do it every year now. It’s in a beautiful location and such a comfortable home to stay in. The hosts are helpful and take good care of their guests. You won’t be disappointed with this gem.

This is a perfect place to stay if you just need a place to sleep without expecting too much. The beds are comfortable, there’s plenty of towels in the bathroom and you’re close to the highway. The stairs and doors are a bit creaky but you are in an old farmhouse. I would easily stay here again. Tip: Go to The Parker Pie Company (7 mins away) for great beer and pizza!

Our stay at the farmhous was good. It is very farmy. The cats are extremely friendly and will try to be your friend instantly! Jes is helpful and responsive. The room is spacious, minimalist, and clean, adequate for a night to rest before hitting the road, and the living/dining room space is comfortable as well. If you are looking for privacy, this place is less ideal, as you can hear what is going on in the other rooms and in the bathroom, and the staircase leading to the room (there are 2 on 2nd floor) is creaky. All in all, good place for good value.

This place comes at an unbelievable value! The pictures are a very accurate depiction of the space, it was what I had expected and more! The living area is very nice, very comfy living room. The kitchen is perfect for a short term stay. The room was comfortable, and the beds were clean and there were plenty of covers to keep warm. The house is well heated and the wifi has great speed. Jess provides a nice library in the living room and a very comfortable couch. The bathroom is a little small, but at such a great price, you can’t ask for anything more! Everything that Jess provides for at this price is simply incredible! This is the best deal I’ve ever found on Airbnb! I would definitely recommend!

Sevren's place is a oasis for weary travellers.

I was one of the first guests to stay at this new place in Burke. I found it to be a really great value. It is just a few minutes north of Burke Mtn, East Burke, and Kingdom Trails. It has wonderful views of Burke Mtn. The space is, well, very spacious, occupying the entire basement area of the house, with a big living room, big bedroom, and big bathroom area. Groups with lots of ski, climbing, or other gear will really appreciate the space for sorting, drying, and organizing gear. The bedroom has a large bed (queen?) and a bunk bed. There is a Roku TV screen in there (no TV in the living room, but TV isn't why you go to the Northeast Kingdom). The kitchen area, which is essentially part of the large living room area, is a bit limited, so keep your meal prep simple. The hosts are quite friendly and communicative, while allowing you your privacy. All in all, this new offering in Burke is an excellent value and a fantastic value--I highly recommend booking it for your Northeast Kingdom adventures.

Our stay at Lake Willoughby was amazing, the accommodations were as listed, the views AMAZING and peaceful! The ability to use the kayaks and have a nice little yard to have quiet mornings and nights by the fire was perfect! We would definitely return for another get away! I forgot a bag and Molly was super helpful and responsive and it was shipped the next day! Great hosts and communication! Our entire family as well as the two dogs enjoyed our stay!

I stayed at Donna’s beautiful home. Even with it being winter time, it was absolutely amazing. The views were unbelievable. The home was impeccable. Very clean. It was just simply a perfect stay! I especially loved the shower and tub to relax in! Plus Donna was very responsive, immediately answered my messages and was wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend checking out her beautiful home and enjoy a great stay! I will be back for fall time😍

My boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet getaway after the holidays. Donna’s place was perfect! We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and looking out at the insanely beautiful view. The updated master bathroom has a steam shower which was a pleasant surprise. Donna was a great host and provided info about the area. We had never heard of Lake Willoughby before and were totally surprised by their resemblance to Norwegian fjords (Stunning glacial lake between two mountains). We hiked Mount Pisgah, well worth it for the view!

Donna’s house is at a great location!! We enjoyed the sun set from living room couch, and played games by the fireplace!! And everyone loved the standing shower in the Master bathroom!! This is perfect spot to enjoy winter and summer activities!! The house was very clean!! Luckily sky was so clean and we were able to do star gazing from out side of the house!! This was something not planned so this was surprise for us!! Since this area is kind a remote if you are coming from city then the “Willoughby Lake Store” has almost everything if you forget any basic things to take it with you.

Everything was great! We had a lovely girls weekend. Super comfortable and cozy. Loved the fireplace and the cozy couch, comfy beds and stunning view from the front porch. Beautiful spot. Friendly neighbor even offered us dry firewood - amazing! Kitchen update will be awesome. Donna was super responsive. Would definitely come back!

Donna’s home was in the perfect location and had beautiful views of lake Willoughby. Her communication was excellent and her response to questions was so fast! The accommodations were comfortable and I wish we had lore time to spend outside on the amazing porch/deck. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in the NEK!

This was a very cute place. Kitchen had a nice variety of accessories, bathroom was well stocked, place was very clean. Comfortable bed, clean sheets, good amount of blankets. There was a binder with helpful lists of local attractions, as well as local eateries. Owners responded promptly to messages. I would go here again! The view was beautiful!

Ian's studio is conveniently located in Newport, VT. The entrance to Wal-Mart is less than a mile away. Taryn and Ian are very responsive and welcoming in their communication to you. I would certainly recommend their accommodations, if you're looking to stay in Newport, VT or enjoying the local attractions.

Beautiful space, attentive host, clean and cozy! It was nice being off the grid for a couple days. Would love to see it in other seasons.

Once again, the River House was the place where we could go to "get away from it all," rest, reconnect with each other, and recharge. This was our third visit - we love the quiet, the forced "disconnect" (we LOVE that there's no wifi or cell reception!), watching the river, walks up the drive. This was our first winter visit, and it was magical. We read books and watched movies, sat in front of the wood fire, and focused on time together. Thanks so much for this wonderful retreat!

The river house is off the beaten path a bit, but it’s peaceful, quiet and cozy! Pat was a wonderful host and stopped by to make sure we had what we needed. The house is clean and roomy and has pretty much everything you’d need.

We fell in love with this accommodation! The chalet is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need. Daphnee is adorable and communication is very easy and fast. There were little touches for our arrival! And the spa under the stars ... sick! We will return as soon as possible

How to say ... There is not one aspect of the reservation at Daphnee which was disappointing! The loft is located in a quiet and heavenly location, 4 minutes from Mount Pinnacle which offers a magnificent view and which is easy to access. Daphnee herself was most sympathetic and attentive. Full of little touches we expected in addition to the fully functional equipment on site. Without hesitation I will return if I wish to go to the region!

Our little romantic getaway went very well. The loft was perfect for two people, clean and very well equipped. Our hostess has always been available and helpful. Several hikes can be done in the surrounding area which is great for lovers of the outdoors and nature. Do it again without hesitation!

Daphnée was really caring with us! For our romantic weekend, everything was perfect! The location is beautiful, the Loft is a real cocoon, and we were more than welcomed. Can't wait to rediscover this beautiful place in summer :)

Lila and Aaron were outstanding hosts! Super communicative and helpful. The guest house is really cute and the twinkle lights lining the path from the parking to the house were helpful and adorable. The path was well shoveled out and easy to walk down.

Overall we had such a great stay here and would definitely return in the future.

This is a great little cabin. It does get tight with two people and sports gear (ice climbing), but a nice kitchen space, which is useful since there’s not much dining in the area. A great place for enjoying Lake Willoughby.

Cozy space for two. Affordable and within easy distance to the area's fun outdoor amenities. For those sensitive to sound, do note that the furnace hums around 35 dBA periodically.

Nancy’s place is so beautiful. The view is astonishing !! It’s a perfect getaway if you want a quiet and calm time. The private access to the lake is so great. We stayed the whole day on the deck and at night staring at the stars. Nancy was super reactive for any questions regarding the house or the area. I would definitely go back again and recommend it. Just so you know, Nancy was with her husband on the 1st unit of the house but we didn’t hear them at all. Thank you again!

The cabin is nicely furnished with vintage furniture. We enjoyed the view from the rockers!

Charming lakefront cabin. Everything was very clean. Comfortable bed, good heat, if needed. Great views up the lake. Newport has undergone many positive changes over the last years and has a lovely walkway along the lake, a bike trail to Canada and some new restaurants. We were impressed with the upgrades to the town. Also, the dairy farm areas with high rolling hills and broad valleys, to the west of town, are gorgeous..this would be a great, probably less crowded, fall foliage area to visit!! The cabin is in a semi-suburban rather than wilderness setting, but neighbors were very quiet...perhaps not even around. Nice selection of books, in case you forget yours!

Beautiful location with the perfect amount of space to settle into. Extremely clean and all the amenities are included. The whole place has been mindfully decorated. Nancy and Jon were gracious hosts who were on site during our visit. They offered suggestions for things to do in the area. The walk to the border on Lake Road was gorgeous and well worth the time. The view and access to the lake couldn't be better. The only problem that we had with this place is that we didn't stay longer. We loved our stay and look forward to staying there again!

A great little get away with a stunning view of Lake Memphremagog!

I had a wonderful stay at Lynn's. Her place is cozy, well-appointed, very clean, and well-located. She is quick to respond and very thoughtful. She offered to provide me with almond milk to go with the granola at breakfast as I did not want yogurt. I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Lynn’s place was the perfect fit for a quick one night stay while my daughter was in the area. She communicates well and was there to greet her upon her arrival. It was a cozy and comfortable stay and I would recommend her place to any one looking for a spot in the area.

This is the perfect spot. It is quiet, in a beautiful secluded spot near the lake, but within minutes of shopping and restaurants. Lynn is very helpful to provide information on things to see and do, i would recommend with no hesitation.

We had a wonderful time staying a Lynn's place and are already planning to pay her another visit. The house is a lovely rustic design and very accommodating for a couple looking to stay in the area right next to Newport for a quiet getaway. The bed was comfortable and the bath/shower clean and spacious :)

Amazing view of jay peak when you wake up in the morning. He has so much space you can walk around and look at the beautiful Vermont scenery. He even has a swing in the backyard. Very clean, a lot of hospitality, great shower, and smart tv.

Charming little place in the heart of Newport, not my first visit to Tim's and it won't be my last, can't wait to come back!

On a cold winter's day this was a wonderful place to be. Morning coffee by the bay window looking over the winter wonderland was perfect. Tim was more than gracious. Means for our morning coffee were provided. Muffins from a local bakery were delicious. Chatting with Tim and learning the house history was great! The space was very clean! The bed comfortable! The local was perfect! We wouldn't hesitate to stay there in future.

Tim's place is a dream and an absolute refuge during my work trip to Newport. Tim has thought of everything and it feels like a true New England bed and breakfast experience. Some nice restaurants are within a quick walking distance and Tim supplies coffee every morning. Next time I am in the area, I will definitely be booking my stay here again.

My boyfriend and I had a very, very relaxing weekend stay at one of Renee’s beautiful cabins. Renee is very sweet, helpful, and is available if you need anything. The cabin is very clean. We loved having the fire place going the whole weekend, it set the relaxing mood we were going for. The property is absolutely stunning, the views of the lake and surrounding mountains are unexplainable. We are already looking into coming back in the summer. Thank you for your hospitality.

Cleanliness and very nice woman

These are wonderful housekeeping cabins that are at the water's edge of the lake. The cabin was clean and comfortable with rustic accommodations. And did I say clean??? Our cabin overlooked the lake, and there was a dock with a row boat available if we wanted it. The cabin faces west, so the sunsets are jaw dropping. We totally enjoyed the ambiance of the fire in the fireplace one evening. Renee provided the firewood and newspaper to start the fire. Renee is a fantastic host. She responded to messages within an hour, gave accurate directions, met us when we arrived, and continued to check in with us to make sure everything was perfect. She provided many suggestion as to locations we might like to visit. Oh, and did I say the cabin was clean??? Thank you Renee!

This is one of my favorite places I have ever stayed. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, water is easily accessible. Our little cabin was perfect for our needs; we spent the whole day out on the water and came back at dark to make some dinner and enjoy a cozy fire. We will definitely be returning in the future. Renee made everything so easy for us and was so sweet.

Renee's cabins are truly a gem! Not only are they the cleanest cabins I have ever seen but the location is beautiful! Renee is the warmest and most hospitable host you could imagine. She makes you feel extremely welcomed and almost part of the family. It was clear to me from interacting with other guests that they have the same experience and return year after year. We woke up in the morning and had coffee on the porch overlooking the lake before doing some paddle boarding/kayaking (great local rental place that delivers them right to your door- Renee also has row boats available for free). We spent our days swimming, lounging in the sun on the hammock, the Adirondack chairs or even just sprawled out in the lawn, eating dinner at our picnic table, and warming up by the fire in our cabin when it got chilly. Renee made on incredible bonfire on Friday night right in front of the water which was probably our favorite part of our entire vacation. Renee has books and games available to borrow and she even left muffins on our doorstep the last morning. The sunsets here are unreal and it feels like time passes at a completely different pace. Could not have asked for a more wonderful experience! This was our second year going here after finding it randomly on airbnb and I am confident it won't be the last!

A perfect balance of privacy and common areas.. everyone we met there were so nice and willing to share ideas of places to go and things to do. Such a beautiful location and lots of history in that lodge, so glad we came across it and recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thanks for everything!

A beautiful throwback rustic lodge with great hosts. Don't expect a 5 star Hyatt experience but if you want a friendly funky comfortable place to stay and spend time, this is it.

I was awestruck by the beauty of the lake and the charm of the home. I stayed in Room 1 and could see some of the lake from the window of my room. The house was clean, peaceful, and friendly with a very home-like feel (and the coffee and snacks in the morning were much appreciated). I hope to return soon!

Nathalie’s place is very cozy and clean! We felt right at home. It is located in the town of Ayer’s Cliff, by the main road. Great little getaway loft if you want to be near a town but close enough to the lake and woods.

It's such a warm place. You will quickly enjoy it. Spa, magnificent view, fireplace, comfortable beds, board games for fun, television, Netflix .... only one microwave is missing to make it perfect. The neighbor helped us out with our popcorn to pop

Rachid’s place is cosy but comfortable, bright and very clean. Even in very cold weather the entire place managed to heat very quickly. The cottage is on a hill overlooking the bay: it has a large balcony which would be great in the summertime. We enjoyed our weekend stay and would definitely consider renting again. Communicating with Rachid is easy; he answers very quickly and we appreciated the fact that he was flexible for checking in/out

Excellent week-end ! Rachid's chalet is magnificent: very cozy and well decorated, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen perfectly equipped and the location unbeatable: by the lake and only 35 minutes by car from Mont Orford National Park. We were a group of 6, which is the max capacity for the chalet (bathroom quite small but quite practical). Rachid was particularly attentive and extremely helpful, spending several times over the weekend dropping us off with little things that we were missing, responding very quickly to our messages and even sending us suggestions for activities in the surroundings. We will be back!

This place is a gem! My adult son and I were looking to hang out in the country for a few days near Montreal. This Ayer's Cliff property was such a cozy choice! Great butcher/bakery in the little town and a dream farm-style kitchen to cook in! Nature trails nearby were perfect to enjoy the snowy weather and then relax by the fire and watch old movies. We will treasure the memories!

Super cute place and was great for an overnight layover on our road trip! Thought the bedrooms were all in one building, the double bed was in another small barn outside however it was still comfortable and cozy.

It was perfect for 2 people. If staying in a larger group, note that there is only 1 bed + foldouts in the barn (main building) itself, and the other bed that is shown in the pictures is separated in an outhouse. Lovely place, Nathalie has done a great job at the interior design and there are plenty of thoughtful touches around every corner. If you're looking for a nice 2-3 day getaway to relax and unwind then this is A+++

I've stayed at Heather's place several times since 2017 - it's the first place I try to book when I go to the Kingdom Trails. Quiet, relaxing, and comfortable are just a few of the many reasons to stay here. This place (and Heather's hospitality) never disappoints.

A true home away from home!

We were there to snowmobile, easy access to trial head. You do have to ride the road to a field, less then a eighth of a mile. We had snow on the side of the road to ride. Heather and her place - perfect. We would stay there again.

Heather’s beautiful old farmhouse is a magical place to stay in the Northeast Kingdom with a stunning view of Burke Mountain in the front yard. The village and the mountain are just a few miles away.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The kids enjoyed seeing the barn animals and sledding in the yard. Would be a great visit any season!
