I stayed at Bunter's B&B for 4 nights in November 2016. Helen was a lovely host, very friendly and welcoming. The room was nicely decorated and clean and felt very private, especially as I had the use of my own, large bathroom. The house is in a very quiet street with easy parking and within walking distance to 2 great village pubs, both serving fantastic food and beer. All in all, I had a really nice stay and would happily stay here again!

We stayed with Helen for one night, her home is clean and comfortable in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. The bedroom is well decorated with a private bathroom right next door. Helen was kind enough to offer us some excellent advice on where to eat in the nearby town of Deal, she also cooked us a delicious breakfast in the morning. All in all we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Bunters B&B.

For Helen's nightly charge, you don't expect the Ritz but the room and separate bathroom were clean and colourful! You have to like dogs ( which I did ) although make sure your bedroom door is closed. As I'm a light sleeper, one of them is inclined to 'moan' at night but with the bed being EXTREMELY comfortable, I soon returned to the 'land of nod'! The Blue Pidgeons ( 5 mins walk ) is an excellent eating house and overall, I had an enjoyable 2 night stay

Helen's accommodation is ideal for a quiet getaway but also provides good access to places such as Sandwich, Deal, Margate and Canterbury. The room was clean and comfortable with the private use of a bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilites in the room alongside a tasty breakfast make Helen's Airbnb a super choice for travellers to Kent. Helen has two friendly dogs who are very well behaved. I had a particular fondness for Scott! They will not disturb you only if you wish to make a fuss.

Helen's house is conveniently situated for exploring Sandwich, Deal and surrounding areas. Worth village itself has two lovely pubs, one of which, the Blue Pidgeons, in which we had a great Sunday lunch and had real ale on tap. Although the bathroom is not en-suite, it is for exclusive use of the guest room and next door to the bedroom. The room is well decorated with a fantastic feature wall. Helen was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. She has a couple of gorgeous dogs too who we enjoyed getting to know! The only disappointing part of our visit was that we left too early to meet Helen's newest arrivals..... a hive of bees!

We really enjoyed out stay. The rooms are all lovely and Mary and her husband very friendly. We even got tee/coffee on our arrival and had a great conversation with them. I would definitely recommend it!

Mary's place was very nice and a great first stop in Britain after arriving in Dover. It is just a short 15 minute ride from the ferry. We slept very well, also because the neighborhood is absolutely quiet. We enjoyed the talks with Mary who is very friendly. Also all the other people in Eastry were very friendly and helpful even giving us tips for our stay in London. Eastry is tranquil and a very traditional small town. Very interesting to walk around in. We also enjoyed the nice breakfast in the morning. Thank you, Mary!

There are experiences and people who you regret to have had or met along your way on this planet, there are people you forget after a while because they are not that important and there are people you will always gladly think about and it would have been a waste not to have met in life. Mary and Jeffrey definitely belong to this last category and we thank the lord to have guided us to Saint-Mary’s close in Eastry. On our way from London back to the ferry to France, we, a French-German family of four, planned a stop here for the night on June 3rd. 2015 to have a look at the coast and surroundings. We first did not understand the signs on the motorway saying “Kent, the garden of England”, but the more we approached this lovely little town, the more we understood their meaning. Healthy green everywhere, farms, gardens, animals, fresh air and flowers. Despite our late arrival time and the fact that our hosts had to wake up quite early the next morning, Mary and Jeffrey welcomed us like we were family members and offered us a cup of this wonderful and legendary English tea in their lovely decorated living room. Our rooms and bathroom were perfectly prepared and extremely clean. Everything we needed was there, plenty of towels, pillows, soaps, creams. Everything was done for our comfort. We are still controversially discussing what was best, the friendly welcome, the warm harmonious living together, the absolute silent nights, the monstrous poppies, the unbelievable breakfast, the price per night or the privilege to have known these wonderful people in our short live. We will probably never come to a consensus but we don’t care because all of it was perfect and we immediately booked a second night. I will always remember this charming home and remarkable hosts who welcomed us like their own on my 50th birthday and I can highly recommend this accomodation without any reservations. Thank you for this enriching experience and for your commitment to helping others in need. You are exemplary and if everyone would be like you, we all could live in a much better world.

Welcoming tea and biscuits on arrival at the quiet and comfortable house. Double bed comfortable but be prepared the small square sofa bed looks bigger in the photo and is best suited for children under the age of about 7. Plentiful breakfast. 13th Century church at the end of the road is well worth a wander around.

Jayne was a terrific host and made my stay a delightful experience . Late check in was not a problem , and I felt very comfortable in the plush surroundings . the stay was excellent value for money , and the room was immaculate with great facilities . I would have no problem recommending this cosy place to any one . It was like a home from home. The sky sports and movies in the room also made my day . Graham and Yolanda made us feel instantly welcome in their gorgeous country farm house. The home has been beautifully renovated, in-keeping with the history - exposed beams, lime plaster walls - whilst still feeling like it has all the modern comforts. When we arrived Yolanda had home made scones and tea brought to us in the garden so we could relax from our drive. Graham very kindly gave us a lift into Sandwich - less than a 5min drive - and gave us a taxi number so we could get back after having a few drinks in the local pubs. The room was wonderfully comfortable, and as the house is situated is in the middle of fields it's blissfully quiet, with only the sounds of the countryside to wake you. In the morning Graham made a full cooked breakfast, all with local and organic ingredients. We also had apple juice from next doors farm and fruits from the garden. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Yolanda and Graham as hosts, they're great to chat to, gave us perfect local recommendations and made us feel well and truly spoilt. This is the perfect weekend getaway, close to London and with the Kent countryside on the doorstep. Thanks so much for having us!

Graham and Yolanda are the most lovely and welcoming hosts. They have put so much love and care in their 16th century farm house renovation, making it into a most beautiful place to stay and enjoy a blissful, peaceful time in a mix of understated luxury and homely comfort. We were treated to a sumptuous breakfast full of taste from their own garden, farm animals and other local sources. They are also really good company and we found plenty to talk about. Highly recommended!

Beautifully & lovingly restored house, huge bedroom, absolute peace and quiet in a bed you could get lost in. Yolanda and Graham are perfect hosts. Not smiling is not an option here, even in early morning grinch mode. The breakfast, locally sourced, a feast of flavours, set a new benchmark.

What a fabulous weekend we had! Firstly, we had such a warm welcome from Graeme and Yolanda and they are such amazing hosts and quite frankly a fabulous couple! I would have to say that they have been the best hosts that we have experienced. By the end of the weekend we felt like part of the family! They both gave us lots of recommendations for the area with food, sight seeing and especially cycling of which we were there for. And the farmhouse - oh the farmhouse! It is absolutely stunning! And such a peaceful area. The breakfast was delicious (make sure to get the full English and guzzle down the pure Apple juice! It is amazing!) and the beds were soooo unbelievably comfortable!! We did not want to get out of it in the morning!! We cannot wait to go back for another weekend and we would recommend the farmhouse with Graeme and Yolanda in a flash!!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Kieran and his wife put so much thought and care into making the little cottage feel as comfortable as home. It was spotless, beautifully decorated with modern fittings, but in a traditional, cosy cottage style. The Internet connection was flawlessly fast and there was a television on site, which didn't get much use on account of the truly breathtaking views of the countryside. Its close proximity to places like Sandwich, Canterbury, Deal and Dover makes it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, while providing a quiet haven after the hustle and bustle of crowded tourist destinations. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at the Stables. We booked a last minute trip to escape London's madness and were not disappointed. Communication with Kieran was great from the start. He gave us very good directions and we found the place without problem. We arrived to find a beautiful new house, very comfortable and well-equipped. Kieran provided us with tea/coffee, milk, bread, and marmalade, saving us from having to figure out breakfast the next morning. It is quickly obvious that Kieran and his wife have put a lot of care and attention when renovating the premises. The views from the living room bay windows are simply stunning and we were able to enjoy the sunny weather on the patio. The house is spotless and our baby quickly made herself at home, crawling everywhere. The bedrooms are comfortable with multiple windows viewing the landscape. The area itself is extremely quiet and peaceful, which was exactly what we were looking for. Yet it was easy to drive to Sandwich and Deal, definitely a good base to explore the area. The Stables are a great find. We whole-heartedly recommend it and hopefully look forward to another trip later this year.

The house is gorgeous, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything you need for a getaway break. There are beautiful views out across the countryside, and the patio is an amazing place to sit and relax with a glass of wine watching the sunset over the hills. Our hosts were really welcoming and friendly without being at all intrusive. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Really recommend it for anyone looking for some downtime out of the city. Ten out of ten!

The stables are a real find. Set in the beautiful Kent countryside. The view from the huge picture window goes on and on displaying an uninterupted scene. The accommodation is stylish, impeccable, cleverly laid out and our hosts had provided everything we could need thoughtfully, as well as with care and generosity. Kieran greeted us in a warm and laid back manner and was informative according to our wants: trips out and walks etc. We wholeheartedly recommend visiting. We will be booking in again soon too.

From the moment hat we pulled up at the Stables we were very glad that we had booked the trip. The view from the Stables is beautiful and we felt relaxed straight away. The accommodation itself is of a very high standard and the added extras (milk, butter, etc) was a kind and thoughtful touch from our hosts! We felt extremely privileged to be their first guests. We stayed with our two dogs who enjoyed the paddock whilst we sat on the patio with a glass of wine taking in the views. Ideally situated for exploring the surrounding areas of Sandwich and Deal. We can't wait to return! If you are thinking of visiting- don't hesitate!!

Ana was a very friendly host. She welcomed us warmly and gave us lots of hints and advice about what to do in the area. The chalet is really charming and nicely arranged. It is located in a beautiful garden in which Ana offered us to pick any grown vegetables. Everything was neat and clean. We definitely enjoyed our stay in the cottage. J&JL

The place was clean, comfortable and easy to find. I cannot fault it. The parking was also within a short walk distance from the house and it the area itself didn't feel unsafe late at night.

Friendly host and great central location for Sandwich. Chalet was rustic, but super value. Some train noise as others have mentioned but if you want your own space and a different environment, I highly recommend it!

Neil is a great host. Very reliable and easy to communicate with. The flat is like the pics. Good size, cosy and clean. Great location to access to many nice parts of Kent. Everything you need. If you are planning to stay for a longer stay, be aware of the absence of a fridge. (A mini mini fridge is there though). I recommend Neil's place.

Neil was very welcoming and helpful, and very patient with us due to travel delays and late arrival! The flat is very homely and clean and in a beautiful quiet village, we had a great sleep and my son loved all the guitars and other instruments dotted about! Thank you in Niel who warmly welcomed us into his apartment. We enjoyed that it was heated before our arrival, as well as the installation of a cot for our baby. A big thank-you. The only downside, the lack of real refrigerator. We had not realized this by reading the announcement. Niel had, however, provided us with a small cooler with a block of ice, which allowed us to organize ourselves. The rest of the kitchen and the bathroom was well equipped and clean. The apartment is very nice and well located for visiting Canterbury where douvre region, and an excellent quality / price ratio. We recommend renting this apartment and return with pleasure

Accommodation was super, Neil accepted and our late arrival results due to fog. Everything was nice and clean, we had a whole apartment to themselves and everything was just amazing !!! It can only recommend :-)

We stayed for two nights with our 3 daughters and enjoyed very much our stay. The flat is very well equipped, very cosy and very quiet, and is perfectly located to visit the Kent. And it was very warm inside which was nice during this cold period. We recommend it strongly. Nous sommes à rester deux nuits avec nos trois filles Agées de 6ans, 4 ans et huit mois. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. L'appartement est très fonctionnel, très calme et très bien placé pour visiter le Kent. I booked this apartment for a 4 night getaway and what a wonderful, warm and comfortable place it has been. Upon arival the keys were provided for us with a little welcome note. I was looking for somewhere which was detach from a home and this was perfect for me and my partner to come and go. There's plenty of room for two, comfortable living room with a TV and WiFi. A spacious kitchen with all the amenities required for self catering and cooking. Instructions on how to use everything within the kitchen was provided. There was also a very nice surprise of food and drinks such as cheese, bread, milk, coffee and tea plus more. A very comfy double bed is located up a small set of stairs with room for two followed by an attached bathroom with a great shower as well. If you're looking to eat out there is a pub about a 2 minute walk which serves fantastic food. I would recommend this property to any couple. Simon

Great place to stay and Jane is super helpful and friendly

This is a great place to stay. Very well located in a quiet and safe residential street, it is only a 10 minute walk from Sandwich town centre, and 2 minutes from the railway station. 10 minutes walk the other takes you out into the Kent countryside. The house is set up like a proper guest house separated from the family's own home. It has fully furnished bedrooms (with TV Wifi etc.) and a spacious and comfortable communal living area. There is also a covered terrace and decking area which is private, and well-equipped for a couple of hours relaxing on the sun-loungers or outdoor sofas. The property is very secure, set back from the road with a locked gate. There is also space inside the secure garden to leave bikes etc. Jayne is a first class host; very attentive and friendly, always on hand, and with great knowledge of the area. Her cooked-to-order breakfast could be the best in Kent! (You may also meet two very friendly labradors, who pop round occasionally to check you are enjoying your stay...) All-in-all an excellent place to stay, ideally located to explore Sandwich and the wider area, and a clean and comfortable house that would be equally suitable for a family.

I booked a room with Chris & Doug for my Mum. They were quick to come back to me, and couldn't have been more helpful. They even picked my Mum up from Sandwich station. Highly recommended. The large house is a family home, warm and cosy, my room was comfortable and the bathroom clean. Breakfast was freshly made and tasty. Room and very clean bathroom, nice house with nice view of a garden, typically English. The situation is almost in the center of the beautiful village of Sandwich, while being surrounded by fields. Chris informed us to find a restaurant, it has also made us a very good breakfast. To recommend!

I have to say Bridget was absolutely outstanding and went way over and beyond any expectation. Had issues with luggage lost with airlines and she went out of her way to help. The property was fastidious in presentation and for a couple away it s a very romantic place......sadly i was there for golf but it is so convenient to several great courses. Bridget cooked a huge breakfast and it was fantastic. Cant wait to come back here (URL HIDDEN) was perfect.

Bridget is a wonderfully warm and welcoming host. Her home is a delight, full of personal touches and a flair for design. The bed was possibly the most comfortable we have ever slept in! Easy walking into Sandwich for evening meals. We muddled up our booking dates and Bridget could not have been more helpful and accommodating.

What an amazing stay! I stayed with Bridget for two nights while visiting Sandwich for a wedding in May. Bridget is a woman with enormous creative flair. Her house is so beautiful and stylish, while still being inviting and supremely comfortable – the best of all worlds (in my view). But more than that Bridget is the most warm-hearted, generous and, above all, fun host you could hope for. As other reviewers have said, nothing is too much trouble for her. As an example, she kindly ran me into Sandwich on the Saturday morning as I’d forgotten something I needed for the wedding. And the breakfast, as also noted by other reviewers, was one of the best I’ve had (hotel or otherwise). When you stay with Bridget you feel like the most honoured guest in the most beautiful home. It was so much more than a nice place to stay - meeting her and having a giggle over breakfast each morning made a wonderful wedding weekend all the more memorable. If you’re in Sandwich or the surrounding area, I can’t recommend staying here highly enough. In fact, I’d consider it a destination Airbnb, and hope to stay again in the future.

Bridget is so warm & welcoming. We were greeted with a big smile and kindness to help us carry in our bags. She showed us around her charmingly decorated house and made us feel super comfortable. We were given a key so we could come and go as we needed to and told to make ourselves at home. Hot tub/pool is a bonus too, don't forget your swimwear! Fantastic breakfast and company in the morning! A lovely host who keeps her house at 5* quality! Clean, chilled and happy house! Also advised to check out the nearest seaside (less than 5 min drive) and given tips where to go etc and we had the best day ever! Couldn't have wanted for anything more! Thank you! We will be back! Bridget's place was beautifully decorated and presented and only a few mins walk to Sandwich town centre. She and Andy made us feel very home and were patient with us as we had to change arrival times around a bit. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to go back later this summer.

Absolutely charming house, really interestingly decorated with heaps of character. The photos don't do it justice...really great place to spend a weekend.

The cottage was immaculate. It was really handy to be able to access the keys to the property via a drop box. Claire was on hand to answer our questions both before and during our visit. We enjoyed the local area and the seal tour was especially enjoyed by our young boys. It was lovely to be able to use the fireplace. The booklet in the house was comprehensive and had all the necessary information about the house and the local area. We highly recommend this lovely cottage.

Almost a fairytale. Our family from Australia with larger houses and towns were not used to this sort of accommodation and medieval Village but loved it! We had not even heard of this village and just by chance looking it up on air bnb found it. It will probably go down as one about favourite places on a whole UK tour. Carols at christmas in a classic old church with amazing choir and pipe organ too. Amazing english pubs for meals and some tv stars living in the village, all beit Gogglebox. Thanks Claire

What a charming cottage - we had a wonderful stay. Everything we needed with the added bonus of a lovely open fire. Very much enjoyed browsing through the books and have had to order a couple of them when I got home... It was the perfect base from which to explore Sandwich. Communication for our stay was excellent and I would highly recommend staying here if you can!

My sister and I stayed at this very charming accommodation during the May Bank Holiday period. A beautiful home with everything you could wish for. A big plus being where the cottage is situated - so close to all the attractions Sandwich can offer. Roger was there to meet us and, despite our delay with the trains, patiently waited for our arrival and gave us such a warm welcome that we forgot how stressed we were by the travel delays! Roger made it easy for us to check in and out and the house was set up with all the amenities to make our stay as comfortable as possible,a real home from home. The location is perfect for sightseeing in Sandwich , it is also close to the shops and the main supermarket so very practical.

Great location in the middle of Sandwich with a supermarket and lots of pubs nearby. The house was well equipped with all imaginable amenities available. Roger responded very quickly to all questions we had. Recommended!

Great location in town centre close to shops, restaurants,pubs and places of interest. Also very easy to go to other townslike Broadstairs for an excellent beach, Deal Castle and local swimming pool, and nearby Wingham wild life park. 35 Cattle Market was lovely, well appointed and very comfortable. Roger's communication was efficient and welcoming.

Roger was an excellent host and his cottage was perfect for us and our 2 small children during our short break near the sea! He provided a stair gate, high chair and even an inflatable baby ring! The option of a travel cot was also available. The cottage was cosy and clean and the courtyard garden was lovely - ideal for eating and drinking in! Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Even though we didn't actually get to meet Roger, his communication was prompt and helpful. Will certainly bear this place in mind for future visits.

Rogers hous is a nice place to discover Kent. It is located in the middle of the old town. There is a large pay and display parking at the doorstep which was very convenient. Roger did every thing to help us.

Sharon was very welcoming- a perfect host. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and there was a newly renovated bathroom that we had the private use of in the hallway. The house is in a residential street walking distance to town. There are lovely views from the windows of the field behind the house. It only took us 15 minutes to drive to the port at Dover. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent experience just like last time. Sharon is always available to help us. She is more like a family than a host. The room is beautiful and tidy as described. The community is quiet and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Sharon is no doubt the best host I've had. She is warm and kind. She made sure my room was always comfy and clean. She allowed me to use her spotless kitchen which is such a helpful gesture as my Chinese cooking could easily make a mess!! Staying at Sharon's home made my stay in England a very pleasant experience. I will always remember our girly chat and gossip at her lovely home. Miss you already Sharon! Come back soon! Sharon greeted us before the expected arrival time and allowed us to drop off our luggage. She was welcoming, attentive to our request. Sharon us right at ease and the contact was very good from the start.

Sharon was a lovely host, very accommodating and all the information provided for the room was accurate. The bed is comfy and the room is private, the bathroom is modern and clean. Sharon made us feel welcome and offered tea when ever we wanted which is a wonderful British thing. The neighborhood is quite but only a short walk to town and the off street parking is useful in the small town.

We had a lovely time - the room was beautiful, just as in the picture and the bathroom amazingly beautiful and spotless. Sharon was a lovely hostess and gave us directions to a nearby pub for dinner and we enjoyed getting to know her over breakfast the next morning. we highly recommend staying here.
