Had a wonderful stay at Eric's place. It was a beautiful cozy home in New England and was quiet and very comfortable. The amenities were just what we needed, however we were disappointed that the indoor fireplace was not functional. It was in our search parameters and was one of the key things we had wanted on our getaway. Felt a bit let down. Other than that the stay was enjoyable.

My stay at the Lake House was perfect. The house is in a beautiful location at the edge of a lake with its own dock and canoe/kayak and with the fall colours it was quite stunning. The house is very comfortable, well equipped, very clean and there is everything you'll need available. I didn't get to meet Eric in the end but he answered all my queries immediately and made my arrival very smooth. Highly recommended!

The lake house in Orange Massachusetts is a wonderful place to stay. The view is beautiful and the accommodations are wonderful. It is appointed with everything you would need. There's a beautiful deck overlooking the lake that you can enjoy meals or just hanging out on. It is very easy to find the Lakehouse, and communication with the owners is very responsive.

This Lake House was a wonderful quiet and peaceful retreat. Lots of amenities and the hosts are so responsive. It was a lovely stay. Also very family friendly.

Judy and Alistair have a wonderful setup in the hills of Wendell, MA. Such a quaint home with the Yurt in the back that is set up for a beautiful relaxing weekend, especially in the Fall! Judy is very accommodating of anything you need, and if you want your space she will gladly provide that as well. We landed on a rainy weekend, which allowed for us to cozy up in the Yurt and relax for two days. The hot tub is phenomenal, even in the rain! I highly recommend staying at this beautiful Yurt in a magical part of the Northeast.

Perfect stay at Judy and Alistair's yurt- they are both friendly and welcoming and the yurt is well-equipped with anything you might need in good or bad weather. Full kitchen, private outhouse, outdoor shower with warm water and a Japanese soaking tub abutting a state forest- what more could you want!

Judy & Alistair were incredibly welcoming and helpful during our stay. Their unique "off the grid" lifestyle is incredible to experience and super comfortable (even in a winter snow storm!) we were cosy, happy and relaxed in the spacious and well-appointed space. The soaking tub was a dream with the snow coming down! We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back.

Judy and Alistair provided the perfect getaway. From the second we got there to the second we left, we were happy. The hosts made it easy to reach them but also were never intruding on our much needed restful weekend. They were kind and extremely helpful/knowledgable. We were blown away with how thoughtful they were. Everything in and around the yurt was set up and convenient. All around, it was the perfect weekend and I wouldn't have changed a thing.

The yurt is just as described and an absolute delight. The hot tub is dreamy. The landscape amazing--a blend of new woodland that is springing up post tornado, mature forest, and a lively stream. The many birdsongs could be heard right through the wall of the yurt! My dog has never been happier, anywhere. It was a pleasure meeting Judy and Alistaire and I'm definitely planning to return.

The space is beautiful and very clean! Joe is very kind and helpful! The surrounding woods are great for hikes and there's a lot of quaint eating places within a 10 mile radius.

Joe's barn was the perfect little impromptu getaway from Boston! We hiked in the nearby state forest, dipped into a couple different swimming holes (including the one in the woods behind Joe's house), and explored the quaint neighboring towns. Joe and his family were lovely people and hosts!

The location was just as promised. Secluded, clean, and very open. It was a cozy respite from my hectic and stressful daily grind.

Joe and Sarah's place is in the best location: a wooded hollow nestled next to the Millers River and encircled by gorgeous hills and forests. If you're looking for a refreshing and rejuvenating stay somewhere close to nature, look no further. Not only are there plenty of options for hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking, etc. within walking distance of the site (a hiking trail cuts through the woods right behind the house), Wendell State Forest is also just a short drive away, with 7,000 + acres to roam through. The loft style apartment is a spacious yoga studio with a bedroom/bathroom attached. It's very comfortable inside, with hardwood floors and a propane fireplace, a comfortable futon bed, and huge windows that let in lots of light. There is a compost toilet, a water cooler, WiFi connection, a teapot and plenty of tea. Everything on the property is eco-friendly and sustainable. There's no running water inside but we were welcomed into Joe and Sarah's home to shower. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back again. This is one of my favorite airbnb stays so far.

Our stay at Joe's was great. The place is in a lovely location with huge windows looking out into the woods. The place was very clean and comfortable. It was too cold to use the outdoor, so they made access to their own indoor one available. There was also a wash basin provided in the room. We were perfectly warm and comfortable and would happily come back again! Joe also gave us a tour of his sugar house and lots of great info on maple sugaring in the area. It was very cool to see. Thanks for a great weekend!

Great place.

Supreeth's house is modern minimalist design, clean and welcoming with amazing views of the river and mountains from giant bedroom windows. There is a noisy train that comes by, but other than that we couldn't have asked for more. We saw bald eagles flying by and enjoyed some beautiful weather with our 3 and 5 year old kids, who also loved the trampoline. We did some canoeing and hiking just minutes away, and some bowling at night. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Due to a lovely spring blizzard occurring the day of our trip and constrained travel plans, we didn't wind up staying at Supreeth's place, but he was kind enough to refund a portion of our stay and was in no way obligated to do so.

This is a gorgeous little house refurbished and very inviting! Supreeth was very friendly and wonderfully responsive to a couple of questions I had. The two large beds are very comfortable, with comfy bedding and pillows. The futon sofa is quite firm, so definitely for younger backs or folks who prefer that. The bathroom is stocked with plenty of large bath sheets and your basic shampoo/bodywash. We were there just after New Years, but I would love to come back in another season when grilling out and using the deck would be fun. Fabulous view!!

Ooh la la! The comfort of the beds! The views from said beds! The silence. Felt like we had gone on a weeklong retreat in terms of how restored we are after two nights. Even the nearby trains, softened by the thoughtful window choice, were magical. All this in the grey of the end of march. Must be glorious in the height of summer. Everything was perfect.

Sarah was incredibly accommodating and hospitable, going above and beyond our expectations. She not only brought us local bread, whole bean coffee, and farm fresh eggs, but she also helped us make a fire and provided us with slippers. The house is beautiful and clean, as are the grounds. We had an amazing a cappella retreat and would come stay again in a heartbeat!

Stone N Skye lodge was a peaceful retreat with plenty of room to sit, knit, and read with a pot of soup on the stove.

Sarah was an extremely kind and welcoming host. She brought us a basket of treats for our stay and we enjoyed listening to her stories. The house is large and easily accommodated our group of 9. It was very clean and had a cute mountain lodge feel. There was no AC, but we didn't need it, even in the August heat. The mountain breezes kept us cool. The house is a little isolated off the main highway, which only adds to the tranquility. Make sure you fill up on gas and supplies before you settle in. The nearest town with stores was about 5 miles away. Amherst is about a 30 minute drive. Thank you!

My family and I stayed at Sarah home over Christmas and I must say it was probably one of the best holidays we've had in a long time! Sarah was such a gracious host and was quick with her responses to all of our questions, allowing us an early check-in, and even offering to cut us a fresh tree for our stay! Although I was not there to meet her in person, my family that arrived first said that they were welcomed with fresh organic eggs, homemade pumpkin bread, and warm greetings. It's a beautiful and clean home, tucked into great trails and nature. I cannot say enough good about this property. Book now!

I stayed at Jeanie's for one night, the night before my best friend's wedding. The bride and bridesmaids all were very comfortable and we just loved being there! The space itself is gorgeous, it feels simultaneously cozy and airy. The area is picruresque and the back yard is the perfect place to relax. I cannot say enough good things about our stay! Jeanie and her husband are a lovely couple. When we arrived they created us and gave us a tour of the property. My best friend and I stayed for 1 night to enjoy hiking and what the area has to offer. We had an amazing trip and saw the countryside while enjoying fresh local food. The home was perfect, extremely cute and had everything we needed. Jeanie and her husband thought of everything. There was firewood already placed in the fire pit with clear instructions on how to get the fire going. They had a puzzle in the living room set out for us to start. Which of course we did and had a blast doing. The feeling of being here was like staying at a close relatives home. It felt like being part of the family which was so sweet and amazing. We loved it. Highly recommended!

Jeanie's spot is quirky and fun, and she is a great host. Her and Bryant are very communicative and will help you with whatever you need - she's just s phone call or text message away. Would definitely stay again!

We were in the area for my daughter's lacrosse tournament and all the hotels nearby were booked. Decided to gamble on Airbnb and we lucked out with Jeanie. We stayed in our own, separate house which was super clean. Our host was wonderful. We especially loved the ready-to-light firepit out back, which we enjoyed cooking smores under the stars after a long day. If you need a very comfortable, clean and easy place to stay in the area, make sure you consider this one!

The place is lovely. We had a lovely time. Folks should know that there was no cell service or internet access that we could find, which made navigating to nearby towns, trail hikes, and restaurants a little tricky. The outdoor shower looked lovely, but we didn't use it, as there was no door or curtain and we didn't really feel comfortable being all naked in front of Kerry and Greg's house-sitters, who we didn't know and we thought that would be a little weird. We spent some lovely time in the cabin, just hanging out, laying in the hammocks, and sitting in front of the fire, as well as visiting the state forests and Mass MoCA. Such a beautiful weekend.

Lovely cabin, lovely people! Kerry and Greg were superbly gracious hosts. The cabin was exactly as described in terms of amenities--simple but very cozy. The place is incredibly well-constructed (Greg is a carpenter by trade and his skills did not go unnoticed). It is tucked away in a grove of trees behind their house, giving privacy yet immediate access to the water spigot, bonfire pit, etc. Cabin was stocked with towels and basic kitchen ware. Their artwork added a lovely touch, and there even a few fun books to flip through. The cabin was insulated and there is a small space heater for the colder months. The stargazing you will be privy to is about as good as it gets. Their cat, Matisse, will almost surely come hang out with you at some point, and he is just as friendly as his owners. In addition to hosting us, Kerry & Greg were kind enough to give us lots of great suggestions for restaurants and activities. Of note was the Sawmill River Arts gallery a short drive away. Kerry is a contributing artist, and the gallery is connected with a bookstore/cafe/restaurant. She and the rest of the artists & craftsmen/women had delightful work on display, would be a perfect place to pick up a meaningful gift. In addition to the state park/lake down the road, they also told us about a great day-hike ~45 mins away in New Hampshire called Mt. Monadnock. For the more adventurous guests, the vigorous hike will reward you with a stunning 360-degree view of the surrounding area. Can't say enough good things about this place, my girlfriend and I are already talking about a return trip! Thank you again to Kerry & Greg! (and Matisse!)

This was our second time in Kerry and Gregg's cabin and it exceeded our expectations once again. We are going to miss it over the winter but look forward to coming back next Spring or Summer. I arrived Saturday afternoon to find our hosts planting tomatoes in their front yard. They were kind to let us settle into the cabin despite arriving hours early, and made sure we knew all about the location, cabin, and utilities, before leaving us to our own. I couldn't be more grateful for the perfectly pared down experience in the cabin. Every piece of furniture and decoration felt purposeful. We were traveling to North Adams from Boston for the opening of MASS MoCA. Our stay in Warwick happened to be the halfway point to our destination, and I'm very glad we decided to stay with Kerry and Gregg. Check out the Montague Bookmill during your stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Kerry's cabin in the woods for a one night getaway. We couldn't have been welcomed more warmly when we arrived and Kerry stepped out from her beautiful garden (which she generously invited us to take vegetables from) to show us around. Though she just returned from her own travels she got the cabin ready for us as soon as she could and let us check in early and also allowed us to stay as late as we wanted the following day. She is such a pleasant, friendly, and kind person and host and made our stay truly amazing. She was very respectful of privacy but also available if we needed anything. The cabin is beautiful and all the space we needed to feel both comfortable and immersed in nature. Neither of us are from rural towns and this cabin was the perfect amount of secluded-a row of trees separated the cabin from Kerry's backyard which made us feel like we had our own space yet were close enough to the main house to feel safe and able to ask for anything we needed, though we didn't have to because Kerry provided everything from sheets and towels to shampoo and soap to a washing basin in the cabin for washing hands, brushing teeth, etc. to make it more convenient (running water is available at a sink on the side of the main house which is not far at all) to breakfast (coffee, delicious homemade granola, strawberries, and yogurt) to a guidebook to activities/dining in the area and how to use everything in the cabin. We had an amazing getaway and enjoyed our lack of cell phone service in the cabin where we set our phones aside and spent our afternoon and evening playing cards, solving a book of riddles, and playing Mancala (which was provided in the cabin!). There was a tabletop portable grill outside on the picnic table to cook with but we enjoyed PB&J sitting at the cute table and chairs in the cabin in front of the big windows watching the trees and field outside. There was also the option to have a fire that night (Kerry had plenty of firewood and provided newspaper to help start it in case it was still wet from rain earlier in the day, and a lighter), but we couldn't be pulled from the coziness of the cabin which stayed cool and comfortable for sleeping. The next morning we laid in the hammocks and listened to the birds chirping and had a picnic outside in the grass. Everything about our stay was perfect except for the length of the trip, we wish the weekend was longer! I never thought I would enjoy using an outhouse until our stay at Kerry's! It is only about 20 steps from the cabin and private, facing the woods, yet open so that there are no odors. The outdoor shower attached to the main house was also a beautiful experience to...

I absolutely loved the cabin and the property around. The experience was beautifully immersed in nature from the milky way just above your head, the fresh fragrance from pine tree, singing birds to neat and clean, open-air compost loo. I could see how Kerry thoughtfully set up the place for her guests in every detail. If you are a nature lover, Kerry's Pine Cabin will be a perfect choice for you. Definitely recommend!

Michael's cottage was just as described: cozy and quiet. The cottage had everything we needed and the was perfect relaxing get-away for my family and our friends.

Great house/cabin feel that sleeps a ton of people. Everyone loved the lake, jumping dock, boat options, toys and games for everyone aged 3-73, sleeping arrangements, fire pit, outdoor shower, zip line, croquet, playground, and many areas to hang hammocks. Michael's cabin was a welcome retreat to end the busy summer with friends. I was celebrating my 25th birthday, and Michael and his family made the trip easy. There was quick communication, well laid out rules and tips, and an overall homey feel to usher us in and out of the Labor Day weekend. Don't hesitate to book this little jewel!

This place was exactly what we were looking for- I nice getaway to unplug and enjoy time together. The house has everything you need to cook, relax and have fun. There was never a dull moment as the house is supplied with plenty of things to do indoors and out (board games, books to read, yard games, boats & Kayaks for the water, and of course the private beach for swimming) My 2 year old loved all the toys that were available for her to play with, the swing set, and the large yard for running around. We will be back for sure.

My wife and I had a great time.. planning to make another trip with some extra family members.. it was a long overdue relaxation for my wife and I.. Walmart was about 15-20 min away... Found out that there's no cell phone signal so it made it the perfect get away, only time to spend with the family...

Our family of 5 had such a fun and relaxing time! Even though it is only 20 minutes away from home it was the perfect getaway. Wish we could still be out in the kayaks now!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. You can tell Kristina and her family put allot of love and effort into every detail, the pictures do not do it justice. Kristina made me feel welcome and provided everything we needed for our stay. The area is beautiful, with many lakes and hiking spots nearby. Cell phone service was spotty in the area (at least for verizon), but internet and a landline were available to receive calls at the house. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful country getaway.

This was my favorite! The kitchen had everything we needed. I felt at home with so many books that are also on my shelf. The handcrafted herbal tinctures, molcajete, and herb gardens were all like home too. We loved the house as well as being in the hills and woods of Wendell Massachusetts.

This is a comfortable house on a large verdant plot of land in a relatively remote area ideal for a family or a group of senior citizens. You have the whole place to yourselves.

The home was so comfortable and easy to "move" right into the rhythm of the lifestyle. The chickens and garden were a throw back that helped tone down my pace and just be.

We had a wonderful stay at Kristina's house! It's beautifully decorated, comfortable, homey and had everything we needed- a fully stocked kitchen, tons of space, lots of books... even musical instruments! The grounds were beautiful as well. I would highly recommend staying at this house!

I grew up in this area so the location was perfect, just a few miles from my friend's home. Also I enjoyed the village atmosphere, the church bells that rang each hour and the peace and quiet. I was very comfortable at Gail's.

10/10 experience. Gail has a beautiful house in a beautiful area. She was OK with a last minute change to the plan (we had to bring our dog with us after dogsitting fell through). My only regret was not being in the area on Thursdays so we could have some of the wood-fired pizza that she makes and sells once a week.

I loved staying with Gail! Her house and garden is so cute, and it's lovely and quiet out there. I was very comfortable despite the weather swinging between 40 and 95F! I had a wonderful time and I'm looking forward to the next time I visit Warwick!

I am a frequent and long-time Airbnb user, and I must say that my stay at Gail's place far exceeded my expectations! The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and quaint. The home itself is a wonderful old renovated farm house in a very quiet and woodsy location. Gail was extremely prompt and responsive in her communications. Check in was a breeze. The bed was very comfortable, and having a private bathroom was very much appreciated. Gail provided home-made bread and coffee for the morning, and even helped me out with procuring a much needed beverage for this thirsty traveler. In the morning she pointed me the direction of a fantastic hike just minutes from her doorstep. I loved everything about my stay and really found this to be an unexpected and hidden gem of a respite. Most highly recommended!

Loved this place. LOVED! If you're looking for somewhere secluded, peaceful, stress-free and utterly calm then this is the place for you. The tree lined backyard leading down to the lakeside that is teeming with birds and pond life is incredible. Heather's mum was around with muffins, good advice and quality conversation. King Louie the cat was a welcome addition too. White pond nearby is accessible for swimming and johnsons is good for breakfast. Wonderful xxx

We felt at home right away. Duncan and Jackie were helpful and friendly and wanted our every need to be satisfied. The apartment's furnishings were tasteful and comfortable, and there were even "starter supplies" of coffee, cereals, soups, granola bars and other food items. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean which encouraged us to leave it the same way when checking out. Potential renters need to know that the owners board dogs in a separate but close-by structure and occasional barking can be heard. I would recommend this unit to anyone considering a stay in the Gill, Massachusetts area.

Apartment was extremely clean, and the hosts were exceptionally friendly. They made sure that we felt at home and comfortable. The area is absolutely quiet and peaceful. it was an excellent place to stay.

If you are looking a quietness and peace, this is a place to be. The privacy of the apartment was wonderful for us as we needed resting from a busy weekend.

Duncan and Jackie are wonderful host. They go above and beyond to be sure their guest have everything they need. They make you feel at home the minute you arrive. The place is beautiful and the views are incredible. This place has it all, a well equipped kitchen, living area, dining area, comfy bed and nice size bathroom. There are slippers & robes in the bathroom, teas and coffees in the kitchen, cable TV and a private deck with beautiful views. You won't be disappointed here!

We had a lovely stay at Rose Marie's cottage! It's in a nice peaceful setting with a beautiful garden. We also really appreciated the delicious and filling breakfast she prepared for us and slept well in the beds.

Rose Marie greeted me in the driveway and was very accomodating during my short but sweet visit - she made sure I had all the fixings for a lovely breakfast. She introduced me to the other guests as this lovely little BnB, and was very friendly!

Rose Marie's place was delightful: clean, comfortable, and welcoming. She went above and beyond by staying up late and laying out a special "to-go" breakfast for the next morning because we planned to be up and out before normal breakfast time. Rose Marie is super friendly and accommodating. If I'm ever in the area again and need a place, I'm looking for this one first!

We had a wonderful experience at the Bed and Breakfast. The place is old style with all possible bells and whistles; very cool. It is also in a very nice location, an excellent place to relax. Super accommodating host. Will go there again.

I can not say enough good things about Rose and her home! She is sweet, attentive, and completely cares about her guests; you instantly feel right at home. The house is beautifully decorated and extremely cozy. I'm already looking forward to going back!
