  • Lovely space full of character and charm equipped with so many thoughtful touches to make it a comfortable stay. Stayed dry and warm even with storms outside. Local shop and pub (ate twice at the White Hart) great. Genevieve was very accommodating, responding to anything I needed, and leaving me alone otherwise. Would love to come back in the summer and enjoy more of the surrounding countryside!

Places of interest include the village church, which is dedicated to All Saints, the Queen's Head pub and a mansion house known variously as Dogmersfield House or Dogmersfield Park. Henry VIII's elder brother Arthur, Prince of Wales, and his bride Catherine of Aragon are said to have stayed in the village.
  • The cottage was a perfect stay for us, so quiet and peaceful overlooking the open countryside. The accommodation was characterful with a contemporary twist and everything you could possibly need was catered for. Thank you again we will definitely be back soon. Mandy & John Cornwall

  • This is a very nice and comfortable cottage in a lovely setting. The gps took us past the property, it's a little tucked away, but we rang the host and he was able to direct us without problem. The kitchen is large and well stocked, with all mod cons. There are plenty of places to shop for food just a short drive away, the farm shop being a firm favourite of ours. The cottage is very clean and stylishly decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and definitely recommend it. Very good drive time from Heathrow and close to the M3 for quick access to nearby cities and towns.

    Hugh2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures do not do the cottage justice. It is fabulous! We stay in airbnb 5 days a week and this was absolutely one of the best ones . We already booked our next stay.

  • We loved our time at Elliot's cottage. We went with our two kids - 4 yrs old and 1 yr old. The property is beautifully kept, spacious, with great amenities (especially the bath) and toys/games that make it welcoming to children too. Elliot was quick and helpful in communication, accommodated our late check out, and we enjoyed the touches like fresh fruit and breakfast things prepared for us. We chose this property as somewhere relatively close to Paulton's Park for a trip to Peppa Pig world, but also a relaxing place in itself to spend a couple of lazy days. We would love to come back for a longer break to explore the area more as there is clearly a lot more to see and do. Highly recommended.

  • We love staying at Jane's Cottage in Dogmersfield. It's in a beautiful countryside location, its stocked with everything you could possibly need...no need to run to the shop as soon as you arrive to buy soap and toilet paper, it's already provided, along with a welcome package of thoughtful supplies...milk, bread, snacks. It's tastefully furnished in a modern farmhouse style, it's a perfect home from home when we visit from Colorado. And if that's not enough already, the owner and neighbors are wonderful too! It's a 10/10 from us!

    Ian2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • What a fabulous place to stay. Perfectly clean, wonderful decor and decoration throughout. Very comfortable, warm and cozy. You could not ask for a nicer place to stay and we will most definitely be staying again when next in the area. Thanks to Elliot & Sara for making us feel very welcome and comfortable during our stay.

  • Lovely space, cosy and warm. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived a d communication was fantastic. Nicola and Stuart were very helpful in providing local info a d would definitely recommend The Leather Bottle for food (recommended by the hosts).

    Kim2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely lovely annex

    Daniel2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Simple, clean and cosy! We stopped overnight and enjoyed our brief stay. The beds are comfy and low to the floor (which is necessary to avoid bumping heads on the sloping roof!), the view is relaxing, the heaters are warm (much needed on the cold night we were there!) and the bathroom is spotless. While there's no breakfast, there is tea and coffee, a kettle, microwave, crockery and cutlery if you bring your own snacks. You might even get to meet a cute puppy!

    Jonathan & Dan2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • It was again a great experience. I see number of additions from last time - like iron and iron board, water facility, tea making, another mirror in bathroom, heater in bathroom etc. Stuart and Nicole are continuously improving this facility. But its privacy is what I like the most. I would definitely recommend this place.

    Sameer2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • A fantastic place to stay! Beautiful and away from the house so we didnt feel like we had to sneak round. Stunning location and very friendly owners. Highly recommend!

    Helen2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Nice and comfortable place with basic amenities.

    Vilas2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place and hosts. It’s really beautiful Annexe, and is part of a really nice and huge property. At least 50 feet away from main house and gives complete privacy. Beds were really comfortable and I had best sleep in long time on some of the days. Bedsheets, duvet covers, pillow covers for both beds and towels were all quite new and clean. It seems to be recently renovated and has a brand new look and feel. Just outside door you will see large green fields and natural beauty. Stuart provided me with a small fridge, microwave, kettle, tea bags, a water bottle, plates, mugs, cutlery and it was sufficient for me to survive for a week. Place was warm with three heaters. Bathroom was separate and looked like all new. Stuart and Nicole were quite helpful and welcoming hosts. communication was great. I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. In fact I did already.

My husband and I live in a four-bedroomed house which is spacious. Any guest will have access to their own bathroom.
We are fortunate to live in a quiet area but are close enough to many amenities, Wokingham Town has many restaurants but if you are looking for something a bit more lively, Reading and London are both close enough for an evening out. Bracknell is also close by and can be easily reached by bus.
We have a very quiet neighbourhood.

A 19th Century updated character cottage with many beams, old doors, narrow staircase and a vaulted ceiling to the main bedroom. Also available (on request) is a third cosy separate twin bedroom accessed off the garden providing two single beds and WC. It is two minutes walk from the thriving village of Hartley Wintney which is full of independent shops, cafes(incl. Costa Coffee) plus two pubs and restaurants. With the village and local walks on your doorstep this is the perfect getaway!
The interior of this attractive cottage has modern facilities whilst retaining its historic rustic charm. It retains many period features including original beamed ceilings and old pine doors. Entering the hallway, the first room you will see is the lounge which has a homely feel with its beamed ceiling and brick fireplace containing an Aga wood burning stove. There is an internet connected flat screen 42" TV where you can watch complimentary Netflix or you can watch a DVD. It is a great room for cosy nights in. Off the hallway there is also a modern bathroom containing a walk-in shower. The wall cabinet has LED lighting, anti-mist glass and a shaver point. To the rear of the ground floor is the cottage style kitchen/ dining area where you can serve yourself an expresso or a latte from the Nespresso machine. The kitchen is fully equipped to enable you to prepare dinner should you wish to have a night in and the dining area lighting creates a nice atmosphere together with music from the Roberts DAB/ internet radio You will also find a Bosch dishwasher to help with the washing up, a microwave and washing machine. French doors lead out onto the patio. Upstairs, the main bedroom (accessed via a narrow staircase) has a lovely vaulted ceiling with beautiful ornate decorative lighting, a king sized bed and a wall mounted 32" TV to watch your favourite channels (including Netflix). It also has a en-suite bathroom which is entered via a low door threshold and two steps down from the bedroom. You should take care with the very low ceiling over the bath and WC. The house has lots of character! The second (smaller) bedroom overlooks the rear garden and has ornate lighting, a double bed and matching furniture. The Bay Tree Room is a quirky twin (singles) bedroom accessed through the garden and is a delightful cosy room with a low ceiling and has its own WC and wash hand basin (cold water only). The furnishings have been carefully chosen to create a country cottage feel. The secure rear garden is south facing so you can sit out and enjoy the cottage style garden in the afternoon sun. When you arrive you at the cottage (which is located on a side road off the A30) you will be able to use the dedicated off-road parking ( space for two cars) on the driveway only a few metres away from the front door. There is a sensor light which will help you at night with access. Your safety is also my priority so there are smoke detectors throughout the house (including the bedrooms) and also carbon monoxide detectors. In addition there is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. This is a charming cottage, refurbished to a high standard so it should be ideal for your next trip!
The attractive High Street is only a few minutes’ walk away where you can enjoy fresh morning coffee at any of its numerous cafes. There are independent shops where you can buy a variety of things such as jewellery, paintings and antiques. For eating out, there are two popular restaurants only two minutes’ walk away. They are:- Monsoon – Indian cuisine. Sorriso – Italian cusine. For morning walks there is the common behind the village only two minutes’ away. You can also watch cricket being played thre in the summer months. If you play golf book a round on the Hartley Wintney club course across the road from the cottage. Enjoy champagne and oysters on a Friday evening at the Phoenix Inn (about one mile away). This pub is famous for its connections with car clubs and has a classic car meeting every New Year’s Day. Other nearby places include:- West Green House – enjoy winter garden walks and delicious afternoon tea (about two miles away). Elvetham Hotel – enjoy sumptuous dining (only about one mile away). Tylney Hall – enjoy fine dining and the leisure club (near Hook). Four Seasons Hotel– enjoy the extensive leisure facilities at this 5* hotel (at Dogmersfield). Basing House – the remains of a fine Tudor House and castle in Old Basing. Stratfield Saye House and Wellington Country Park – on the Duke of Wellington’s estate. Odiham Castle – built by King John in the 13th Century and you can see the some ruins of the castle which are still standing.
  • A charming, comfortable, well appointed cottage that had everything we needed and a little bit more. Communication with owner was excellent and I recommend this lovely cottage without reservation.

    Rupal2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderfully quaint old cottage, which feels like it has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. It provides a combination of authentically old quirks, such as low ceilings and the odd creaky floorboard, with up-to-date decor such as a well-equipped fitted kitchen, with a dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker, and modern bath/shower rooms. The front room is equipped with a log burner for cosy nights in, and there is plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. Hartley Wintney is a beautiful location - a real "olde worlde" village, with friendly neighbours, lots of good quality restaurants and pubs and good transport links. Matthew is an excellent host, providing detailed directions and information about the house and checking in to make sure everything was OK. Highly recommended, I definitely hope to return in the future.

  • Really lovely home with everything needed for a nice vacation.

    Mandy2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place on a side: quiet, clean, stylish. The fireplace was already set-up, Netflix enabled, kitchen well equipped, and communication with the owner - top notch.

  • The cottage is an absolute gem of a find. We were 3 business partners from London looking for somewhere great to spend 2 days out of the city. It was the perfect location for this. there were great walks (and pubs) nearby and the cottage itself has a luxury modern feel with the character of an old cottage full of character! There are wood beams and a fireplace with modern refurbished kitchen. Matthew is also a great host with incredible attention to detail. He welcomed us warmly and gave us all the information we needed to have a pleasant stay. One thing we were unaware of before the stay was that the twin bedroom is in a seperate building in the Garden. This is not an issue though as it was only a 10 second walk from the main cottage and has been designed beautifully.

  • Had another great stay at this charming cottage and will definitely be back soon. Thank you Matthew for making us feel welcome again. Mandy & John Cornwall

The Coach House sits on its own in a beautiful walled garden of a 17th Century house, in the village centre. 50 mins from London, 5 mins from the M3. Perfect for a break or business. Great places to eat, country walks & pubs on the doorstep. Sleeps 3 & contnl. breakfast incl. Please note we have a minimum 2 night stay policy. Light, airy & recently renovated. Luxury beds. Mix of antique & contemporary furniture, faded linens & luxury bed linen make this a perfect place for rest & relaxation.
The Coach House is separate from the main house and your own private space to enjoy for a minimum 2 night stay. Upstairs there is a light double aspect bedroom with 5ft Vi-Spring luxury bed & Lexington bed linen. Running the width of the building is an elegant relaxed sitting/dining room with TV, Wifi, comfortable sofa and furnishings, a generous table for dining/work space and views (double aspect) over the garden. A bright modern kitchen (with fridge, toaster, iron & board) leads off the dining area and tea & coffee making facilities are provided. You are welcome to prepare light meals if you wish. A separate lobby leads to a newly-fitted bath room with power shower over the bath. There is also a shaving point. Downstairs there is a small bedroom that can be rented in conjunction with the space upstairs (shares upstairs bathroom). There is a standard 3ft comfortable bed and there are limited views over the garden. Outside you can explore the lovely one-acre garden, planted extensively with yew hedges to form a series of 'distinct garden rooms'. The garden is opened for charity from time to time. You can lounge on Bridgman recliners and swim in the outdoor heated pool in summer. There is a small Weber BBQ available for your use. Talking of eggs we keep rare-breed chickens up the garden and they lay pretty tiny eggs!
This is a historic and special place to visit. The handsome Georgian High Street boasts a variety of shops and places to eat such as the Bel & Dragon and Le Creperie and on fine days people like to pass the time at pavement cafes. There is a 12th century church with Reyntiens windows and ancient Odiham Castle where King John stayed the night before he signed the Magna Carta. The village is surrounded by lovely countryside for walking and there are boats to hire on the canal. Villagers host a number of traditional village events each year including the annual fete & dog show which attracts more than 2,000 people on the 2nd Saturday in July. Jane Austen's house at Chawton is just 30 minute's from here and the National Trust's elegant 16th Century property - The Vyne is a local jewel.

  • Pauline and Chris are wonderful hosts, giving us local tips and being extremely welcoming to us and our 16-month-old toddler. The space was great for a small family, with a fully-equipped kitchen and lots of local restaurants, cafés, walks and shops. The gardens are gorgeous too. There were too many things to do locally to fit into a short stay so we fully intend to go back!

    Danielle2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • A great space with great hosts. Made us feel very welcome and we found the place extremely comfortable.

  • We really loved our stay in the Coach House. It was all immaculate and finished beautifully with some great little touches (got to love a touch of Emma Bridgewater!). The swimming pool is an amazing feature of the booking, which we used at different times within our stay (even at night). The gardens are vast, with beautiful planting and chickens at the back - our little one loved saying hello to them. The welcome pack gave us some great information and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast that was provided - the honey was a real treat! Pauline and Chris were excellent hosts, always there to talk to if needed but gave us enough space to feel like it was a little part of our home. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you guys!

The Treehouse is a small self contained barn style conversion best suited for a couple or up to 3 adults. Please note we do not provide breakfast but do provide complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk portions. Our guests tend to be people working in the area temporarily or wedding guests as we are close to many wedding venues. The Treehouse is self catering and has one bedroom, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a nice shower. Large TV, WiFi and is completely private. Parking on site.
The Treehouse sleeps ideally a couple - there is a double bed upstairs, and a small double sofa bed downstairs. We have 2 fold up single beds if required. Max 3 adults but at an extra charge for 3rd adult. Very spacious with large Tv and two comfy sofas and dining table in the living space. The WiFi is entirely for the cottage. There is a double USB charging point downstairs just above the sofa bed. The bathroom is downstairs and has a nice size shower. The cottage is very private and completely separate from the main house so you can come and go as you please - but we are always available if you need to speak to us. Often we don’t even meet the guests as we prefer not to bother them once they are settled in. There's a lot to do and see in the area and lovely country walks and cycle rides if you are feeling energetic! Many great pubs which we give details for in our information guide in the cottage.
Eversley has some lovely country pubs, great walks and cycle rides in Bramshill Forest and surrounding areas. Worth bringing your walking gear!
  • This cottage is a converted outbuilding that has been renovated and refurbished to a very high standard. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a high quality shower room, and a decent-sized lounge area. Heating is provided by two electric heaters, one upstairs one down, and although they take a few minutes to warm up, they are thermostatically controlled and are more than adequate to heat the place. I visited in early March when there was still frost on the ground, and I was toasty for the whole stay. Katherine is an excellent host, with clear instructions on how to find the place, rapid responses to enquiries, and on hand to answer any queries as she lives in the house next door. All in all a lovely place to stay in a nice part of the world - highly recommended.

  • This beautiful and spacious cottage was the perfect place for three friends to relax after attending a wedding nearby. There was ample room for the three of us (bed, two sofa beds, a couch and breakfast table) and it was well equipped. Self check-in was made very easy and convenient and Katherine was extremely prompted and helpful. Thank you for having us to stay! We’d definitely choose here again!

  • Great place, comfortable room and bed, the house is done up in an outstanding and modern way - very stylish bathroom! I only stayed one night for work commitments nearby, it did the job perfectly, and communication with Glenn was too notch. He also recommended various local eateries for my evening meal , when asked.

For enquiries regarding the whole annexe please contact me. Home Farm is also home to the Yoga Barn – sessions are available to guests. Inside, there is a shared modern kitchen, living room and bathroom. Outside there is a garden with views over surrounding fields. Home Farm is a converted working farm, with plenty of character. The surrounding countryside provides plenty of walking and cycling routes, with excellent local pubs in very close proximity, and Tylney Hall Hotel with its extensive grounds opposite.
The surrounding area is beautiful, and if you don’t see them then you will certainly hear lots of the local wildlife! The excellent nearby pubs (Old House at Home, Coach and Horses, Falcon and Leather Bottle) are fantastic places to enjoy locally sourced produce, or a pleasant drink. The area provides an abundance of country walking and cycling routes. Tylney Hall Hotel opposite has a spa with indoor/outdoor pools, and beautiful gardens with ponds, streams and a fairy trail.

    Old Basing, England, United Kingdom

Relax in comfort and privacy at this award winning retreat. Situated in farmland between the picturesque villages of Old Basing and Newnham. Easy access to M3 & M4. 2 railway stations within 9 minute drive. Great location for visiting Winchester, Guildford, Farnham, Windsor and Basingstoke. Own front door in oak porch leads to a suite of 3 rooms. Comfortable king size bedroom, luxury shower room and vaulted sitting room with log burning stove. Good choice of pubs and restaurants nearby.
Surrounded by fields on a quiet country lane 'Fox Pightle' was a winner in the 2019 Daily Telegraph Home Building and Renovating awards and has been featured in several publications. This newly built, oak framed cottage is beautifully and comfortably furnished and has delightful views on all sides. From the french windows in the sitting room you will frequently see pheasants, roe deer, hare, and sometimes the fox . A magnificent barn owl is often a regular visitor in the spring and early summer. There are many wild birds in the garden tempted by several feeders. A mini fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster are provided and a simple breakfast of tea, coffee, choice of cereals, milk, bread, croissants, butter and preserves. There is an electrics egg boiler so you can to sample the fresh, home laid eggs that are usually available if you wish. Though there are no kitchen facilities provided, there are plenty of good local pubs, restaurants and farm shops in the area. I provide crockery, cutlery etc if you wish to bring your own cold provisions and there is more fridge space if required in the open garage. The sitting room contains 2 squishy linen sofas, a small dining table and chairs and a cosy log burner . The wifi is good and there is a television and Amazon firestick which you can access on your own account or join free for one month. The bathroom has a good shower with plenty of hot water and simple toiletries provided. In the bedroom there is a comfortable king sized bed with quality linen and textiles and plenty of cupboard and drawer space. WHERE TO EAT There are many choices of pubs, restaurants, farm shops, garden centres etc within easy driving distance. The ‘Old House at Home' in Newnham Green, is just a 4 mins drive away. This is a genuine, country pub which serves interesting ,quality food and is highly rated by most of my guests. It is not large so booking is recommended particularly at weekends . They have a good value steak night on Wednesdays ( £12.00)and pie night on Mondays ( £10.00) and always have vegetarian options. Old Basing, ( 2 mins ) Mapledurwell ( 5 mins ) Rotherwick (9 mins ) , Upton Grey ( 15 mins ) all have characterful pubs . Odiham ( 10 mins ) and Hartley Wintney (12 mins ), both charming Georgian villages, have a good choice of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops in all price ranges. There is a small friendly crossbreed dog living in the owners wing, a three-legged cat and hens in the enclosure in the owners garden. A lift to and from a local pub may be available on request depending on the hosts availability.
The beautiful villages of Rotherwick and Odiham are nearby, and the historic village of Old Basing is just one mile away. The old part of the village has three pubs and is home to the historic Basing House and gardens . On this site are the ruins of a major Tudor palace destroyed by Oliver Cromwell during the English Civil War. The area, including a beautiful Tithe barn, is open to the public (see online for opening times) and many events are held here. There are plenty of good walks in the area on public footpaths and Heritage Trails. Both the River Lyde and the River Loddon are close by with riverside paths. Slightly further afield and two of my favourite visits are -A beautiful drive over the Candover Valley ( 35 mins ) taking you to the lovely market town of Alresford, home of the famous Watercress line and full of interesting shops and eateries. Stockbridge in the Test Valley (30 mins ) is equally picturesque and has wonderful galleries and interesting sights and is surrounded by stunning countryside. The picturesque village of Chawton is 20 minutes away where the Jane Austin Museum is situated in the house where she did much of her writing. Selbourne , the home of Gilbert White , is very nearby. Highclere Castle ( of Downton Abbey fame ) is half an hours drive and The National Trust has several interesting properties in the immediate area including The Vyne and West Green House within 10 miles of the cottage.

    Colin2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic little cottage snuggled on a very pretty field. The couches were perfect for laying by the fire relaxing and the space gets a lot of natural light. Shelagh's attention to detail and thoughtful placement of all the perfect little amenities made our stay a pleasure. This really is a gem of a place with a host who goes above and beyond!

    Teddy2020-02-23T00:00:00Z

  • Five star accommodation and attention to detail! Our weekend plans were affected by bad weather. However, this meant we got the opportunity to relax and unwind in the very comfortable and cosy surroundings of Shelagh's first-class accommodation. We would definitely return.

  • Debbie's place is clean comfortable and more than worth the price, as a host Debbie leaves nothing to be desired down to the little touches like tea and coffee. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone considering it.

  • The lodge was warm and comfortable with everything we needed. Debbie the host was helpful with tips for dog friendly places to eat and we would def stay there again if in the area.

  • Great place to take a dog. The hosts dog is very friendly too. Reasonably near to local amenities.

    Jenny2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful property and hosts. Debra and Steve took care of us above and beyond the requests. The cabin was cute and very comfortable. A quiet oasis just a short trip from Reading, Basingstoke, or Hook. There is a bus stop at the end of the road (5 min walk) and the buses come Monday through Saturday. It is set in the country so there are not close shops to go to but Debra and Steve offered to pick up anything we needed or give us a lift into town. There are beautiful walks from the property where you can see wild rabbits, deer and many other beautiful parts of nature. Steve and Debra put a lot of work into providing a beautiful setting and accommodations. From the interior to the exterior, everything makes you feel like you are living in a beautiful country inn. Whatever came up, they were willing to help and provide us with a worry-free stay. My wife and I are moving to England and this stay was a stop on our way to our own place but I feel we made long friends with our gracious and awesome hosts.

A cosy and peaceful retreat, perfect for a weekday professional or a solo adventurer. The house is in a quiet off road location, 10 minutes walk to shops and restaurants on Fleet High Street and less than 10 minutes drive to Farnborough and Aldershot. Fleet station which is 5 minutes drive away, has fast trains running to London Clapham Junction taking 30 minutes, and to London Waterloo 45 minutes.
I am a Reiki Practitioner working from home so no alcohol and non smokers preferred. Guests may have use of the kitchen where there is a fridge and microwave to prepare meals and you are very welcome to help yourself to tea, and coffee in the mornings. It is a quiet tranquil space with a green outlook to the front and a paved garden at the back. A perfect place to rest and recharge..
Fleet is a lovely town with plenty of good restaurants on the small high street, and a brand new sports centre with swimming pools 10 minutes walk. 4 miles to Farnborough Airport, 6 miles to BCCUK in Aldershot Buddhist Monastery opened in 2014 by the Dalai Lama. Some great restaurants nearby Katmandu, Gulshan and Hart House all highly recommended.

Our newly built split level flat is located adjacent to our family house in the Fleet Conservation Area. It has its own private access and there is off road parking. We are located in central Fleet just a few minutes walk from the pubs and restaurants on the high street, close to Calthorpe Park and the new Hart Leisure Centre.
Our bright, airy flat is not a conversion but purpose built - split over 2 floors it comprises: entrance hall with bistro table & chairs, kitchen with double oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave etc, shower room with digital shower, vaulted landing with dressing table/desk and built-in wardrobe, large bedroom/living room with 40” Smart TV with Catch-Up TV, two club chairs and side tables. As the space was created for family and friends to stay there is no washing machine/dryer but there is a launderette on the high street. The Velux roof windows have blackout blinds and the dormer windows have blackout roller blinds. Note that part of the annex is above the garage but it is only used for storage. Strictly no pets or smoking/vaping due to family allergies. No candles or naked flames. Self Check-in by lockbox if we aren’t around.
Fleet high street has a good range of shops within a few minutes walking distance: Boots, WH Smith, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Costa, Starbucks There are lots of pubs, restaurants and takeaways nearby.

  • This little gem is in a quiet area but a stones throw away from the local train station, so in our opinion, ideal for staying and parking the car and then nipping on the train to London. It has a small but well equipped kitchen, so where to sit and eat, relax and very comfortable bed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be our first choice to stay in the area again.x

  • A little gem tucked away in a very quiet corner of the countryside. I had a lovely wintry view from my window. Room very swish, gorgeous bathroom. The food looked fabulous but we were going out to a party, so next time.

    Iain2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a find! The room we were given was very comfortable, sparklingly clean and with a fabulous bathroom. The bed is very comfortable and we enjoyed the pretty views out over the fields and woods. We ate in the restaurant and very much enjoyed the steak and lamb, plus two fab puddings. The wine was sensibly priced and service impeccable. A big thank you to Jules and Kerr for making our stay so enjoyable. The breakfast bag is also a brilliant idea because after such a superb evening meal we didn’t need a huge full English. We’ll be back and thank you to all for making it such a great place to stay.

  • The iron Duke is tranquil and laid back destination , within easy daily commute of Urban areas such as Basingstoke and Reading , the environs exceedingly pretty , and the Iron Duke authentic, Charming and a tad quirky. The hospitality was of a calibre rarely seen in licences premises these days , and the place feels like home very quickly. Food service is available throughout the day and well into evening , and im sure the team will cater for any preferences or late arrivals. It takes a lot to make working in Basingstoke seem tolerable, but this location is fantastic & chilled place to relax after work and i look forward to next visit very soon

    Martyn2019-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely stop on our journey. The garden was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the evening and the food was excellent. Room was large, clean and comfortable and the welcome was very friendly. Definitely somewhere we will consider staying if we are doing the same journey in the future.

The area provides an abundance of country walking and cycling routes. Tylney Hall Hotel opposite has a spa with indoor/outdoor pools, and beautiful gardens with ponds, streams and a fairy trail.

This historic and popular public house has been updated with modern decor and design to provide an inviting and stylish pub and hotel. As our guest, you have the benefits of enjoying a pub downstairs, relax by the fire catching up on the papers, dine with us or simply pass time over a drink or two. The Red Lion is located in the heart of Odiham's high street (central) and sits amongst an array of independent businesses. Street parking and public pay-and-display car parking available.
Stay the night in our boutique and stylish, luxury rooms where you will enjoy Hampshire-roasted Mozzo coffee, hand-made tablets of fudge, luxury dressing gowns and ESPA toiletries to name just a few in your room. Each of the 7 rooms has a working area and an en-suite bathroom and unique decor. The pub has one interconnecting room available to enlarge your living space, but this will need to be requested by phone and is subject to availability. Please note, some room ceilings are low due to the age of the building. Your room may differ from the gallery picture displayed.
Odiham is a beautiful town that has strong links to the Royal Airforce. The high street has a handful of independent, quaint businesses including cafes and restaurants, a deli, florist, antique shop and much more.

  • We enjoyed our stay and were pleased with the facilities. The room was spacious and stylish. On arrival we were shown to a different room (much smaller and not so nice) from the one shown in the picture on airbnb. I explained that we had booked a different room and although at first the staff member said all rooms were the same she did then take us to the larger much superior room that we had in fact booked!
