What can we say about Vivi! As soon as we arrived we were met with the most warm and friendly welcome. Vivi was also great helping our taxi driver find her place and came out to meet us. We were shown to our room which was really sweet and spotlessly clean, and we had no trouble getting extra towels etc. After we had settled in Vivi sat and chatted with us for about an hour about our trip so far and gave us plenty of recommendations for our time in Kochi. Most days we ended up catching up with Vivi about what we had been up to. Although the home isn't right in the middle of Kochi it's easy and cheap enough to get an Uber or tuktuk anywhere from there. A short walk away is Panampilly Nagar where you can find lots of great restaurants. Vivi has a beautiful and well kept home and we would recommend staying here to anyone.

Oh my gosh, our stay at Vivi's was just amazing. Beautiful clean house. Nice room with AC and hot water shower. Vivi and her sister Yangtsa were just amazing hosts and made us feel like home. We've had delicious breakfast and dinner and nice talks. Their English is also top and they are happy to help you with anything you ask for. Totally recommend this place.

Convenient place in an excellent neighborhood.

It was the first time for me being hosted in Kerala other than my family, but this Airbnb experience was as much as being at home. Artville is a beautiful personal space which showcases Vivi's vibrant, colorful personality and you are instantly at home! It is tucked inside a lane to give you some quiet but a hop and the entire city is easily accessible with cabs, & tuk-tuks; stores, restaurants & cafes can be walked up to. The villa is cozy with a common living area, a kitchen where you can get in and cook, but if Yangtza is there, then relish her culinary skills. The rooms are decorated with an artistic bend giving you a peek into a culture, very private, comfortable & clean. Artville is a very becoming and inspiring place to be. I would definitely recommend spending time at Vivi's when you are in Cochin.

A really great place to just unwind and have a relaxed weekend. We spent the weekend at amandaville and was welcomed by Vivi's sister, Yangtsa, who is very kind and generous and a great person to have a chat with! Enjoyed the stay very much! Looking forward to BnB again soon! This is an ideal homestay in Cochin for a small family. Had a comfortable and pleasant stay here with my family.The home decor,facilities and ameneties were par excellence. Arun was always in contact with us to make sure that we had a safe stay over here.I would gladly recommend this place to everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Arun's place. Our arrival was slightly delayed but Arun being a fantastic host had already informed us exactly what needs to be done on arrival, so we absolutely didn't have any problems checking in. He provided us with an excellant house guide that I was constantly referring to in the beginning, as it provided detailed information on the amenities available. Arun also ensured we had no problems commuting around kochi, and informed us about all the options available. The accommodation itself was very comfortable and the addition of the gaming console was what bought me to his place. The security guards were friendly and helped us in moving a lot of the luggage that we accumulated during our stay when checking out. Overall a 5 star experience for very good value for money. Thank you Arun and we hope to return sometime soon.

Literally a "Home away from home". All the amenities were perfectly set when i reached there. I truly appreciate the instant responses by arun to all queries even though he is in another city. Travelled with 2 kids. It was a peasant stay. Kids loved the place and we felt @home. Arin was very well connected to guide to location. Property was well maintained. Grocery shops near by. Home delivery available from nearby restaurant.

The place is on a quiet dead-end street, yet just 5 minute drive to MG road which was a huge convenience for me. Perfect stay and it's very convenient to people if they have to travel nearby Ernakulam on work or leisure. There are lot of restaurants and cafes nearby which makes it easier for a traveler. We were hosted by Vivi's sister and she ensured that we felt at home and there were no drawbacks at all. We shall surely come back to this place if we visit Ernakulam again.

Perfect location...centre of kochin... Tidy and simple room .. More than all that its the Amazing host Mrs Vivi who is very friendly and helpful... I had to check in early than the usual timing and she allowed me... she was ready to help whether its guiding the taxi driver, explaining about kochin and also i came home very late (yes midnight at 1) .. Vivi was a wonderful host... Though she is not from kerala, she managed everything really well... loved the simple yet elegant decor.... i felt home away from home.. this was my first Airbnb experience and really loved it...

We took a prepaid taxi, Rs.920, using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps. This worked well once I helped the driver search for "Amandaville". I suggest other hosts give their AirBnb a unique name, and add it to (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps. Then anyone can easily find them. At first we were in the twin room on the main floor. It had an adjacent bath which required going into the hallway, which is public space. In other words, you'd probably want to cover up, which is not as convenient as having the bathroom door inside the bedroom. When the air conditioner failed, we moved upstairs, and preferred that room. The queen bed was softer, too. There is a shared terrace and TV area outside the three upstairs rooms, which could be more social and possibly more noisy, depending on the other guests. Walked to the commercial area for dinner along a wide pedestrian walkway with bicycle path along a stinky waterway. Aavi's served up delicious, inexpensive local fare, such as paneer and veg curry, tadka dal, rice and naan. Lineup on Sunday night after 6 p.m. Yangtsa, the Airbnb host's sister, was very helpful and kind. She served us a late breakfast the day of our arrival, thin rice noodle nests with cardamom scented coconut milk. For our travel day, we wanted something more substantial so bought six eggs. Yangtsa made us perfect sunny side up eggs to go with our dosa-batter pamcakes, coconut chutney and tea. We ate at 7 a.m. and left at 7:30. She also called an Uber taxi for us to go to the airport. Unlike some other Uber operations, Uber calculates the fare and messages driver and passenger. We paid the driver Rs.680. Aside from a lot of mosquitoes in the dining area when we first arrived and in our room,, our visit was perfect. In the evening, Yangtsa sprayed which killed all the bugs. While the location is not in the Fort area, I have been there before, so was curious to see this more affluent, modern part of the city.

When you look at this place in pictures it's really pretty but when you go there you realize the pictures have failed to do justice to this beautiful place! I booked the place for two days and had the best experience ever. The hosts are really kind and welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. Each corner of the house has something unique, and speaks volumes about how much effort the hosts have put to make you enjoy your stay. The place is well connected to the city and is neat and clean. And for that matter even the breakfast each morning is freshly prepared and served as per the convinience of the guest. A stupendous place because of the special efforts put up by the really warm hearted host who treats you like family. Definitely staying here again whenever I go next! We come to India from Bali, an d found nice place to stay. It was really comfortable and nice place. The owner always helps us, we are family with small baby, and ask to rent car. So she help us and car was rented. Also we was looking the tickets to Bangalore, and she helped us again .The house is nice, its even better than on pictures) So we loved and want stay more, but going traveling around country) Our family recommend to stay that nice place) Thank you

Mandaville was easy to get to from the airport. It is located in a quiet residential area with easy access to shops and good places to eat. The house is clean and decorated and furnished in a relaxing and interesting way. Vivi D and YangTsa our hosts are very helpful in guiding us around Cochin and in making sure we were comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. One thing I would like to try next time is to use the ferry transport to avoid the traffic jams at peak time from Fort Cochin. I found it very interesting to talk to the hosts and fellow guests. Coffee making facilities, clean filtered water and the breakfast are all lovely. I happily recommend Amandaville and the hosts.

The property is huge and spacious with a modern touch sprinkled with interesting antiquates. Clean bathroom and sheets, good internet, full equipped kitchen, washer and very good breakfast... very accurate description in the host profile. John and myself have been travelling for some time and used Airbnb quite a lot; we both agree this is one of the best bnb's we have stayed in - without doubt. We will be coming back just to stay here again.......you really won't find a better bnb in India!!!

The place is creatively decorated and well-equipped with all kinds of appliances. It was a perfect stay for my family, where in we were able to cook some food for our 7 month old son which was the greatest + for us. Also the property is centrally situated in the most prime location of the city. I would certainly recommend the place for all who would like everything within a few steps away.
