We felt so at home and cozy at Em & Tim's loft! There was so much attention to detail with the decor and little amenities. Both Em and Tim were friendly and welcoming, and we certainly plan to return if we're ever back in Louisville!

Tim and Em are, with out a doubt, the nicest hosts imaginable, and every corner of their house is an instagramable photo. The third floor loft was awesome, and every detail is accounted for. The house is in a perfect location, and you can walk to almost every place worth going.The single best Airbnb experience possible.

Em and Tim are always the most gracious of hosts. This was our 3rd time staying at the Harvest house, and each time seems to get a little sweeter :) The space is clean and cozy, with a bangarang shower and a comfy bed. They have the most incredible food recommendations and they make everything easy peasy. I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone - this is by far THE BEST place to stay in Lou.

We could not have had a better experience with this place. Great location - quiet neighborhood, short drive from everywhere we wanted to go. Very clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for the three of us. Amy was incredibly welcoming - she was there to greet us and show us around the place, as well as provide a number of good suggestions of things to do around town. She even had the kitchen fully stocked with fresh fruit and breakfast foods, and some amazing zucchini bread! Made us feel right at home - I would gladly stay here again!

This was my first Airbnb experience and Clint made it great! The room was very comfortable and inviting, and I was in awe at the beauty of the neighborhood. Clint is so friendly and helpful....he knows some really great spots to visit and eat in town, and he has a warm personality that makes you feel right at home! I was lucky to find and stay at Clint's place while visiting Louisville for a night during a road trip. His place is in a safe and cool area that's close to plenty of restaurants, bars and such. I didn't spend much time at his home as I was out and about in town but he is a chill guy with a pretty awesome place! Made my time in Louisville a nice one! Thanks again man!

Superlative host! Was incredibly gracious about a late night check in. Hospitable, and willing to chat or let you retreat. I was exhausted after days on the road, and he (and the space) immediately felt comfortable. The bed is a daybed in a nook, so if you are tall this might not be the best spot. Other than that, I would very strongly recommend booking this spot. Especially if you are a night traveler.

We only spend one night at Sarah's place but it was a great experience. Exactly as describe, the apartment's decoration is a mix of everything and it make it rally warm. And the kitties are very cute and friendly, don't hope to be alone, they will come to you for hugs.

Sarah's place was a unique stay. Though I don't think I would stay here again as I realized quite quickly I was allergic to cats (very cute however), it was spacious and bed+sofa comfortable after a long day of being out. I was in town vending at an art event downtown, Sarah's place was the perfect place to relax after a long day. Her 4 amazing cats were wonderful company and her home was cozy, clean, and uniquely decorated. We enjoyed our stay at Shannon's. We didn't end up crossing paths during our stay but her two dogs were good hosts in her absence. They were well behaved, didn't bark, and were quite affectionate. Location is on a quiet street with plenty of parking. We rode our bicycles around town and found this location to be convenient for where we wanted to go.

She was great about communication before my stay, and everything was as described. She offered dinner, but I went to The Post (wonderfully inexpensive neighborhood gem) to get a little work done. She was around a little but, with a separate entrance in her room, I hardly saw her. When she was around her friendly dogs were too, and they are delightful. Before I left for the airport she wrote down perfect directions to avoid morning traffic. I would happily stay again.

Shannon is very friendly, arrival was easy and she kept in touch with us through our stay. The room and house are very clean and comfortable and the neighbourhood is quiet with restaurants, shops and bars in walking distance. Downtown is a bus ride away and there are two bus stops vey nearby. I would highly recommend this listing if you are visiting Lousiville.

Sarah & Ben's place is the ideal spot if you want to be close to the best that Louisville has to offer. In addition to the location, the apartment is beautiful, and includes everything you need to cook and have a wonderful stay.

What a great, convenient spot to stay in Louisville. Sarah and Ben shared bikes, their amazing porch and awesome space with us. We had a great time biking through the town and trying all of the different restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay here again.

My new "go to" place when visiting Louisville! Fantastic location and ease of access. Ben & Sarah provide a comfortable and quaint retreat tucked away right in the midst of the vibrant Bardstown Road shops, restaurants, bars and businesses. Being a bicyclist, I loved being right above a bike shop! Will definitely keep this place high on my list of places to stay again. Looking forward to coming back when the weather is better and enjoying a glass of wine on their patio deck.

The location was perfect! We loved being so close to everything. It was nice that the rental came with bikes so we could explore even more! Sarah responded quickly when we had a question and made sure we had everything we needed. I only wish it didn't rain most of the time so we could enjoy the beautiful patio!!

This was a fantastic small Highland find. I will say that the neighbors you can hear straight through the walls when they are coming and going, but we didn't have any major noise issues.

Description given is super accurate. It's an adorable little space. The little gas fireplace was lit when I arrived and the place was warm. It was clean and there was a kettle and tea bags (as well as a coffee machine and I think there was coffee... I'm not a coffee person so I didn't remember too well). Found the whole place pretty nice and I plan to stay here regularly on my visits to Louisville.

Greg's place was the perfect spot for our two-day stay in Louisville. The apartment is well situated for walking or a short drive to Louisville sites and restaurants and it was very comfortable for relaxing at night. Greg also helped us out with great Louisville to-dos.

What a great stay! Good location - a short drive to the city centre, and in a very cool neighbourhood. Luanne even accomodated an early check-in and late check-out since no one was staying there before or after us. She suggested a visit to Old Louisville Brewery, which we really enjoyed. Would stay here again for sure.

This place is perfect if you want to get a sense of Old Louisville! It is a beautiful old building in a classic neighborhood. My favorite part was getting to drink coffee out by the fish pond in the morning. Would definitely stay there again!

Anne's space had everything that we needed and more. We appreciated the snack and beverages that she had available for us. Her location is on a quiet, well-kept street not far from restaurants and tourist sites. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was great. Check in was easy, worry free. Luanne was a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had. Comfy beds and cute bathroom. If I had one complaint it would have been to add a chair in the bedroom. Overall perfect for our long weekend.

A great spot in between the downtown Louisville area and Old Louisville/University campus. Don was great and helpful in finding a place to eat. As an IT Consultant with a client downtown Louisville, it was a perfect way to relax and yet be able to get to work quickly. Anyone who is like me, being able to taking a 15 minute free bus ride and you are right downtown without having to hunt for parking in a city that you do not know is wonderful. I would stay again and recommend to anyone else who is travel for work to stay at Don's.

Wow! What a clean place! Everything was perfect. It was so nice to be able to relax and watch tv. Don made us coffee in the morning so we woke up to the smell of coffee and he also baked brownies! There were a lot of breakfast choices which was awesome. The location was sooo close to all our downtown reservations. Uber was $5 to get to 4th street live. The area was quiet and I felt very safe. I would def stay here again.

My friend and I stayed at the studio during a road trip we were taking. The studio is an extremely cool space and Mitchell was a super communicative host. It is also very convenient to downtown Louisville and the bar located downstairs was great as well. We had a wonderful time!

Mitchell was great about communicating with us prior to our arrival. He was prompt and even gave us some last minute recommendations for a late night dinner. The apartment was in a great spot- within walking distance of shops and restaurants and a short jog away from the pedestrian bridge crossing the Ohio (it's about a 4 mile run from the apartment to the Indiana side of the river and back). The apartment was in an incredibly cool building. We spent some time in the whiskey bar below and had the opportunity to read about the history of the building and sample some whiskey from the exhaustive selection. The high ceilings, the fireplace, and the open layout are the stand outs from this place, but it was also clean and attractively furnished. The noise from the bar below was minimal- we live in Chicago, so maybe we are a bit desensitized, but it seemed negligible. An extra shout out to Mitchell for being so understanding about a mishap with a towel. My rain and sweat soaked running shirt bled on to a towel, but he was extremely understanding. Thanks, Mitchell! I highly recommend staying here solo or with a partner! My husband and I will certainly be back for our next stay in Louisville.

Lovely studio loft. Bar downstairs can get lively. Not a problem if you're a night owl.

Great spot. Bar downstairs is kind of loud until about 12 during the week and 2 on weekends if you're a light sleeper or have young ones. It didn't bother me (the music was good and it's a cool bar) and Mitchell was nice enough to leave ear plugs by the bedside. Other than that, place is clean, great location, etc.

When we come back to Louisville, this will be the spot that we try to reserve again. It is clean, comfortable and directly above a fine bar with an excellent selection of bourbon and live music. That being said, if you are not interested in the nightlife you may want to find a place in a sleepier neighborhood. However, the noise from the bar wasn't horribly loud or bothersome. This location was very central, and we were able to walk pretty much anywhere. The host was easy to work with, and very pleasant. Highly recommend this space.

Nice spot right between Nulu and downtown LV. We were out and about most of the day/night so this was a perfect spot for us to snooze, recharge, and go exploring. Stayed on weekdays only and heard barely a peep from the bar downstairs (which is great btw).

My husband and I were in town to support my friend who was doing the Louisville Ironman and we couldn't have picked a more convenient location than Mitchell's studio. Accommodations were basic, but it was clean and the location was perfect - We parked the car upon arrival and didn't need it until we headed back home. Checking and and out were easy. Mitchell was extremely responsive and helpful.

Mitchell's place is in such a great location, close to lots of fun night life activities. His place is well taken care of and he is a great host!

I am sorry I didn't get to meet Justin and could only stay one night but Justin's place is spectacular. Fully equipped kitchen, super convenient to where I needed to be, and the free downtown parking was great. The big suprise was the giant and killer vinyl collection. I walked down memory lane and spun records the whole time i was there. I had car trouble and Justin was very flexible with my constantly changing arrival time. Highly recommend his place when in Louisville.

The building was really cool/old school vibe. The building is attached to Buck's restaurant which has an amazing filet mignon! I was only able to meet Arlene but she was very welcoming and accommodating! Their home is beautiful and very cozy; it’s a great space with lots of light and charm. The neighborhood was very pretty; I drove through it a couple of times just to admire the buildings! Parking was easy and convenient; the University of Louisville was very close and there are some fun eating establishments nearby as well!

We loved our first stay here so much that we didn't hesitate to stay with them again. The apartment is in a great location and very comfortable. Arlene and Teresa were very easy to communicate with before and during our stay. They were flexible with our arrival time and were a pleasure to chat with.

Old Louisville was great. Several places I walked to and had dinner. I was busy most of my stay but Arlene and Teresa are great. Fun to chat with and share a bottle of wine. (or two, maybe three) Room is setup really nice and building is easy to find and street park. I would stay there again next time!

Check in was very easy. Rick has an amazing place in NuLu within walking distance of a ton of great shops and restaurants. It is also within walking distance to downtown. Rick was very helpful in suggesting several places for food and music at our request. The accommodations are beautiful and the historic (125 year old building) is very well maintained! We loved our time at Ricks place and would return again without hesitation!

Staying at the Pearl was an absolute treat. It's a huge, gorgeous, and clean apt; who doesn't love exposed brick. It has everything you could possibly need to feel at home including a super comfortable bed that you'll melt into like butter. Rik was also kind enough to set me up with a bike for the day. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We just spent an incredible weekend at the Pearl! This place has it all, from the beautiful architecture to the ideal location to more amenities than you could imagine. Rik was very responsive to texts and emails and provided me with a great support system to fall back on when he was out of town for an evening. The apartment was as pictured and very nice. We were in town when the weather was cold (20s and 30s) and the furnace had trouble keeping up. The ceiling fans did help a bit, as did the gas fireplaces, but the floors were extremely cold. I realize it was pretty cold for Louisville, but not at or below zero. It wasn't a problem, but just something to keep in mind if you travel in cold weather. One thing that surprised us a little is that the only door separating this apartment and Rik's is the door to his own apartment (entry to this apartment is separate and from the street level). Rik is a perfect gentleman and gave us no concern at all, but we thought it was worth mentioning in case this would make future guests uncomfortable. Rik also asked me to sign a renter's agreement, which surprised us a bit, despite it having been mentioned in the description. Just seemed like an extra/redundant layer to the transaction that had already taken place on Airbnb. The location is great and just around the corner from several great bars, restaurants, and a coffee shop (Please & Thank You - fantastic coffee). Louisville is a great city with much to offer and it's extremely easy to navigate.

A lovely and charming home. Perfectly clean, quiet, comfortable and awesome. The rooms were large and open, the very high ceilings made the place feel extra spacious, and everything was perfectly decorated in an eclectic and cool... yet wholly comfortable way. There was even fresh orange juice in the refrigerator (and lots of m&ms and nuts) welcoming me to my own private home.

What a great way to start our road trip through Kentucky and Tennessee!! The thoughtful touches (homemade breakfast, extra toiletries, cute local decor, beautiful garden next door, private side porch, etc.) made our experience truly wonderful. This place is fantastic! The decor is great, down to the last detail (there are horses on their coat hooks!). There is also plenty of street parking right outside. Dawn and Jerry are incredibly accessible (they live on the other side of the home) and respond almost immediately to any questions before or during your stay. They have a welcome packet with recommendations for things to do in Louisville as well. The apartment is clean and they also leave you juice, fruit, muffins, granola bars, coffee - we did not have to leave for breakfast. My husband and I would stay here again in a heartbeat and plan on booking this beautiful apartment next time we are in Louisville.

I would recommend Dawn & Jerry's place to anyone traveling through Louisville. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and as advertised and the price was right. We booked with Dawn and Jerry last min who were able to accept our reservation and figure out the details quickly and seamlessly. Dawn thoughtfully reached out ahead of time to find out what we'd like for breakfast and if we'd prefer the supplies to make our own. Which we did. When we arrived Dawn was there to greet us, give us the key, show us around and answer any questions. We had supplies for breakfast, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, and all the necessary kitchen accommodations. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. You can see how thoughtful of hosts Dawn and Jerry are from all the amenities in the apartment. From the fresh food from their garden, Netflix availability, the 2 luggage racks in the bedroom to the toiletry selection in the bathroom. We were not wanting for anything during our stay. In one word....excellent! Dawn and Jerry's new AIRBNB listing is a great place to stay with very generous and helpful hosts. A selection of treats was greeting us when we arrived which was a nice touch as well. The location is handy being only 1 mile from central Louisville in the suburb of (URL HIDDEN) smoke now though! The renovated accommodation is as pictured with very comfortable beds and all the extras you need with a lot of personal touches which make it even better. Host response time on contact was very quick and there was nothing that they couldn't or wouldn't do to assist. I have no reservations in recommending you stay!

Visiting Janice is like going home. She takes such good care and won't let you miss your mom.

This is the best airbnb experience that I've ever had. Janice promised to pick me up at the airport, but then my flight got delayed and I arrived at the place at around 3am. She made me feel so welcomed, with food and drinks always available. I even had fruits and tea bags ready in my room. It was a cozy room, just perfect. The surrounding was a quiet, nice area that if I has more time to stay I would grow to love. We have had an "adventurous" day as I tried to make it to another city but there was a problem with my booking. Janice was so helpful to help me sort it all out. And she did it with ingenuity that I still feel so grateful after 2 weeks. I have grew fond of her that I even started to miss her when I got on the plane. Amazing human being. Perfect place to stay, a real home away from home.
