El emplazamiento del mismo antiguamente era una conservera y en los años 80 se construyó la comunidad para los pescadores de Cudillero. Actualmente la mayoría se encuentran jubilados pero aun puedes hablar con ellos sobre la mar, historias de pesca y viajes. La comunidad es popularmente conocida en Cudillero como “las casas de colores” por sus coloridas fachadas.
