We had a good stay at this place. The whole family took care of us. No problem with check-in/check-out. There is a small grocery shop around the corner. Mondays, a market takes places which is a good opportunity to buy fresh vegetable and cheese. We have eaten the best pizza ever at the local restaurant (the price is affordable). The house is newly furnished and nicely decorated, with a big mirror. We had everything what we needed for a short stay. A couple of things you should be aware of when boooking this property: As in many sicilian houses, be ready for cold floors (this may be an advantage in Summer). There is a small sunny balcony though. There is a steep staircase (however, all rooms have a door which may be completely closed and therefore is the apartment safe also for little babies). The bells of the nearby church are not disturbing, but ringing more often than I would expect. A big plus of this house: enough storage space/wardrobes. A car could be parked directly in front of the entrance. The location is ideal if you are planning a trip to Caltabellota.

Franco is a great guy, super helpful, friendly and speaks perfect English! We arrived late and met Franco at the bar where we stopped for a beer. He invited us to stay at the beach house which as it's undergoing a renovation I had to give it a slightly lower rating for cleanliness. However, the beds were made up and the area clean for our arrival. On the second night we moved out to the country house which is exactly what it says on the description. It was a really interesting night in a beautiful location. Take bug spray and charge your phone before you leave!

I would not recommend this host to anyone. I am going to put 2 reviews in one. Let me explain. First. This is a very remote village in the mountains of sicily where I had 2 days to try to track down my family history. There are no hotels in the 3 closest towns. This was the only airbnb site near the town I wanted to be at. I was promised that I could walk the 1200 meters to the town I needed to be at if I wanted. What actually happened was that the person that was my host, in fact did not have a place for me even though I booked a couple months in advance and called the day before. I showed up in the town and was passed on to his friend to use a different place which was in a different town and further from the town I wanted to be in. What other choice did I have? I knew no one else, I spoke very little italian, there were no hotels. In addition, I had to make a separate agreement to pay cash to his friend for his place. I haven't looked yet to see if the original host was paid as well. I was in no position to argue. So I would not recommend this host for anyone. My 2nd review is for the guy who is not even a host on airbnb. He met me; gave me a place to stay and offered his phone number if I needed any help. It was not what I wanted or where I wanted but it was a clean safe location. Tough to negotiate a price when there is no where else to stay but vincenza was a good host, unfortunately he was not on airbnb. So to repeat I would not recommend this host.

Villa di Rosa is a great house with lovely surroundings! There is enough space in the house and the garden is very big.

Vincenzo has been a great host. He arranged a welcoming check in and provided a very clean and tidy no-frills accommodation, which was just perfect for our Sicilian coast to coast by bike.

You cannot find a better place to stay than Casa dei Sogni. Malcom and Antonietta have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. But their hospitality goes way beyond just paying attention to the details. They made us part of the community, introducing us to neighbors, directing us to stores and bakeries, inviting us to join them at the beach, taking us to the market in a neighboring town, showing us the delights of another small town's cherry festival, introducing us to local eateries. We stayed at their place for a month -- 3 weeks in the apartment and 1 week in one of the rooms. The housekeeping is immaculate, the beds are comfortable, the showers are hot and with good water pressure, the towels are plush, and the sheets soft and changed frequently. The bathrooms are appointed with all one might need, including toiletries, hairdryer, travel tissues, bathrobes, and even slippers! The kitchen was also well appointed with nice glass wear, dishes, sharp knives, cooking utensils, coffee, tea, biscuits, sugar, oil, salt and pepper. On our arrival a basket of fruit, croissants, bread, and wine greeted us. Though we usually cooked for ourselves, we did take advantage of the offered evening meal a couple of times and it was a delicious full five courses with coffee, wine, and digestif. And while we were hosted in the room without a kitchen they provided lovely breakfasts every morning -- ham, eggs, fruit, bread, coffee, tea, jams. There is a large common lounge for all the guests and it is equipped with a collection of tourist materials for both the major sites of the area and for lesser known off the beaten path adventures. The jewel of the property is a rooftop deck with table, chairs, umbrella and a spectacular view and breeze. For all but the hottest few hours of the afternoon, it was our favorite place to take our morning coffee, play cards, dine in the evening or watch the sunset with our wine., Internet is limited and slow, as to be expected in such a rural hamlet. We will certainly return to Casa dei Sogni, a home away from home.

Notre séjour à Burgio, chez Antonietta a été très agréable. le village est charmant, très bon accueil, les petits déjeuners toujours copieux. Antonietta et son mari, sont gentils, serviables, ils ont été aux petits soins avec nous pendant la période de notre location, notre chambre était spacieuse. enfin, durant nos conversations on ne comprenait pas toujours les phrases en anglais donc, nous utilisions un traducteur où bien souvent nous éclations de rire. Pour toutes ces raisons, en Sicile il faut passer à Burgio, chez Antonietta.

Le Querce is a bed and breakfast friendly. Calogero greeted us in French and was a charming host. Our clean and spacious room had a large balcony. We were able to enjoy a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. The B and B is located in the countryside, quiet between two villages. A place that I recommend for the friendly hosts, the evening meal and the simple and good breakfast, proximity to Sciacca and the view.

Nice house and great welcome by Calogero and his family. Here is a boy who does everything to promote his region and his village and with great sympathy. Impeccable pleasant room with adjoining health and very interesting villa a little above. Go for it!!

Nice people in a very relaxed atmosphere plus great view over the valley and the sea makes it a perfect place for a relaxed break from the heat and the busy cities of Sicily. Close to the nice town if caltabellotta and exceptionally good breakfast including fesh fruit from the orchard- enjoy!

His family's place is essentially down the mountain from Caltabellotta, both a hotel style and restaurant. Very scenic, quaint and beautiful. The food was great, the room was great. I highly recommend the experience!

All perfect. We were a group of 8 friends. Calogero waited till 23.30 and has kindly offered us to go out with him and his friends. Beautiful terrace overlooking the sea and olive trees.

This place was amazing! The view and Calegero was beyond expectation! When we got lost getting to the b&b Calegero met up with us and got us there! I will be coming back and bringing family when they visit! The rooms were clean and on top of everything they have a restaurant in the house. It was cheap and amazing as well! And breakfast was on point!Very happy!

Calogero and his family were so welcoming to our group of fifteen university archaeology students! They even took us to see a nearby site. The rooms are spotlessly clean, beds comfortable, bathroom very generously sized, view spectacular, and food amazing! Our figs at breakfast came off the tree minutes before we ate them, and fish fresh from the ocean. All deliciously prepared. A first rate location for a restful and renewing stay. Highly recommend!

Il B&B si trova in una fantastica posizione con un bellissimo panorama sia sulla vallata che sul paese di Caltabellotta, per raggiungerlo consiglio la strada che passa per Sant'Anna. Le camere sono spaziose e molto pulite e la colazione servita in giardino è stata deliziosa. Calogero e la sua famiglia sono stati molto disponibili.

My family recently returned from a fabulous 10 day trip to Sicily and one of the high points of our trip was the evening we spent at the Sotto le Stelle B&B in Caltabellotta. Caltabellotta is a beautiful hill town in the southern Sicily, and would be worth a visit even without the absolutely spectacular accommodations provided by Giuseppe and his family. However, the incredible warmth and hospitality shown by the host made this one of the most memorable experiences of our trip! Everywhere in Sicily the people were friendly and kind. At Caltabellotta, we felt like we were being welcomed as family, and that was very special. Dinner at the associated restaurant was absolutely delicious and was the best meal we had in Sicily. If I had known when I was planning the trip how wonderful our experience at Sotto le Stelle would be, I would have stayed longer and used the B&B as a central localtion to explore that section of Sicily more thoroughly.

Caltabellotta, with a breathtaking view high above the coast, is a pretty typical Sicilian mountain village. Giuseppe's house was easy to find including parking in direct neighborhood, it has beautiful rooms, very imaginative and extravagant furnished and absolutely clean. From the roof terrace you have a wide view over mountains and the sea. Giuseppe is very friendly and obliging. The food in the restaurant of his family was super delicious. All in all worthwhile days, we would always come back.

We had a wonderful time in Sotto le Stelle. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great balcony, and the roof terrace had a wonderful view. Giuseppe was a brilliant host and made us a delicious breakfast the next morning. I would highly recommend staying here and would suggest that anyone doing say eats in MATES restaurant (run by Giuseppe and his family) which was the best meal we had in Sicily.

Our stay at the B&B has been incredible mostly thanks to the lovely personality of Giuseppe. To start, when we arrived in Caltabellota, he kindly saved us a table in his amazing restaurant (mates) where we had a wonderful sicilian lunch. Regarding the b&b, we have absolutely enjoyed the place : the room is one of the most lovely, elegant and comfortable room we have ever had, with a stunning view. The breakfast was delicious and served with so much amability. We unfortunately only had one night in the place but we will for sure come back and stay longer. This is a traditional B&B more than an Airbnb, but it's a great option and I had a very nice time. The town is stunning and there's a fantastic view from the roof terrace. Some of my Sicilian friends had never even heard of the town, but I'm glad I visited -- it was a great complement to Sicily's beaches and temples. The drive through the mountains was a great too. Rooms are well-appointed, clean, and there's a nice breakfast served in the morning.

Caltabellota is a stunnjng little ancient town high up, carved into the hillside, well worth a visit. The room was just beautiful with stunning views over the hills, down into the olive, lemon and almond groves and right over to the sea. Beautifully furnished, comfortable, lovely bathroom. Breakfast, with local pasties was perfect. Guiseppe and his brother were immensely helpful, hospitable and kind. Stay in this town, and stay at Sotto le Stelle.

Sicily wouldn't have been the same without the hospitality of Federica and her family. It was one of the most beautiful places we had ever been before in the middle of olive trees, mountain side far away from disturbing lights and sounds. Beautiful stars and STELLE CADENTE. But not too far to reach the beautiful Caltabelotta and the well known places like beaches, Agrigento, Trapani and a lot more. We are sure that we come back again and heartily recommend this place. Breakfast absolutely charming! Delicious welcome dinner. The house fits perfectly the description. Hidden among the olive trees, very nice view, ten minutes drive from the village. Ideal for peace lovers. A big thank you to the Puccio family for their hospitality and kindness. Excellent stay.
