Big clean room in a great area of town

I was staying at Carlos' airbnb with my sister. The apartment has excellent value for money. It is relatively close to the city center in a safe area, it was clean with a careful decoration and attentive to details. Carlos received us very well, he was flexible with our check-in and check-out times and gave us suggestions of places to visit and restaurants. Overall our experience was very positive.

Carlos’s place was very nice for an American traveler in Portugal. He had all of the amenities we’ve come to expect in a room, and the location was within walking distance of all of the city sights. I was even able to walk to the river and take a water taxi to the Port wine places. I highly recommend this place.

Carlos was kind, friendly host. He explained every spots in Porto. House is not far from subway station and tourist places. The room was clean and very large compared to other rooms in Europe. Thumbs up. I have no difficulty finding my way. With Google. The subway station near the property is one of the centers, so all the places to go are within walking distance. But the accommodation is a bit hilly, so it's a little hard to check in. Good otherwise. Friendly host and fast feedback. The room was too spacious and cozy compared to other European accommodation. The kitchen and bathroom are clean. I recommend it.

Carlos’ place is nice. He got a clean bathroom. Especially the location, 15 ~ 20 mins walking to all of the tourism spots. The day we arrived. He recommended place to eat and place to see a Fado show. He explained how to get to the main tourism attractions. Very polite and friendly. Would recommend his place to other people while staying in Porto.

Super welcome from Carlos, Who speaks French very well. Great location near the tourist town center and the metro. The spacious bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen is available.

I absolutely loved my stay at Gisela's place during my time in Porto! Her apartment is very centrally located with a lot of sunshine streaming in through the windows. The place was nicely furnished with natural sunlight. Gisela also replied ASAP and was very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Excellent location

Location was awesome! Walking distance to the river...too good night life and delicious restaurants. Only negative about location....and for any air bnb in porto would be parking is a hassle! Definitely would suggest getting a taxi or uber into porto and if you need a car to rent after your stay in Porto. The apartment itself is very quaint and cozy with everything you would need. The bed is so so so comfy. As stated was hard to find ..but part of that issue is on my end as my husband and I didn't have cellular service. Luckily there is a McDonalds 200m away that we could utilize for wifi and communication with Gisela. Gisela was an above and beyond host with hasty responses and great tips. I thought the door was broken and within 10 minutes she stopped by too check in on it. She was very patient when my Husband and I had gotten lost finding parking and walking through porto to after an 24 hour travel day!

The accommodation is super nice. Decorated with style and taking care of the details to the fullest. Renovated, with everything you need for an unforgettable stay. As highlights, the balcony makes it special and the bed very comfortable. It is close to all the interesting points of the city, it is ideal to walk to all sites. And Gisela a charm, always available and flexible in everything, putting facilities and helping us in everything. 100% recommendable.

Luis place was perfect for our stay in Porto. It was in a great location, very walkable to everything we wanted to do. The place itself was very clean and thoughtfully put together. Luis was wonderful checking us in and provided us with numerous recommendations for things to do, eat, and drink!

The room is really spacious and the beds are very spacious and comfortable for 2 people !! The location is also great for walking around the city so I walked almost! It was great because the host was very kind and explained to nearby restaurants and wines. Clean the toilet and water pressure! I stay well for 2 days !! The house was huge and cozy for 2 people. The bed was also enough for 2 people. The location was perfect for walking the city. The host was soooo kind and he recommended many restaurants and wines. Toilets was also perfect! Great location It's in the middle, so you can go to Lelu Bookstore, parks, cathedrals, and so on. Downwards, you can go anywhere such as São Bento Train Station and Louis Bridge. I can't wait to see the sunlight coming in through the window.

The house was warm and cozy. The sun came in well and there was no inconvenience. There was an elevator, but on the first floor, I moved my luggage to the stairs. The location was great and the host Luis was really friendly. I was sorry that the bathroom door was broken. And the sound insulation was not good. I heard everyone talking in the hallway, and the upper house was noisy. Other than that, I was satisfied. :)

This place is very nice & lovely ~ !! Mr. Luis is so kindness and help me for easy check in. The room have all convenience and of course cleaned up. And it located in middle of city. :) ☆ The host was very friendly and pleasant. The warm water came out well, and when I turned the radiator and the heat fan on, it wasn't cold, and the heavy quilt felt to sleep well. Almost all the kitchen equipment is simple, so it was good to go shopping at the supermarket and eat. Most of all, the location is just in the middle, so I walked around when I dropped my luggage or put on a coat. Very good

Maria welcomed us at the apartment and gave us many tips to help us enjoy our stay in Porto. The apartment was very clean, modern, comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen for when we decided to cook our own meals. The bed was very comfy and the bedroom was spacious. The location was excellent. Close to local bars, restaurants and pastry shops for the morning breakfasts. It was only a short walk to central Porto and not too far to the riverbanks through winding streets full of Portuguese history. The street can get a little noisy when the bars close however this is not limited to only this location. The fan provided in the bedroom masked most street noise. Staying at Maria's apartment really helped make our stay very enjoyable. Thank you again Maria.

Josefa's place is the best airbnb I ever seen. its clean, close to great places and overall amazing.

My husband and I just spend three weeks in Europe and this apartment was by FAR our favorite AirBnB we stayed it. Josefa's communication leading up to and during the stay was always very timely and thorough. Carla met us at check in and gave us so many wonderful tips and a great map of the city. Really made a difference having a local talk us through the city layout as it was our first time in Porto. The apartment itself has amazing energy- great light, super clean, well curated. It was also much bigger than we expected. Location is great - literally a block from so many great restaurants, shops and bars but also easy to get to the main historic sights. Quick walk to Galeria de Paris as well. Apartment felt very safe and had an elevator. The only slight issue was with a neighbor- a couple times we were talking as we were getting ready for bed, and the downstairs neighbor banged up on the floor very loudly. We were taken aback as it wasn't very late (10ish) and we weren't being loud, and it made us a little paranoid. Doesn't take away from my experience, I just think its something to be aware of. Overall we loved this apartment and will book again next time we are in Porto!

Josefa's place is marvelous! Close to a number of delightful restaurants and attractions, spacious, clean and stylish!

It was my first stay in Portugal and I picked it up. It was really clean, and there was one more room with two single beds that wasn't in the picture. It wasn't cold because it was well heated. It's a residential area, so it was good to sleep well.

It's a house that I really want to give 100 points except the house is a little on the hill !!! The house is really clean and good. The host is really friendly! There was a washing machine, and there was a mart near my house. There was a TV, so on bad days, I watched TV, so I stayed home all day long!

Josefa and her friend Carla are the best hosts I have ever seen. You can walk around the city from home, and there are many great restaurants around. The house is warm and very clean. If anyone travels to Porto, I strongly recommend this house :)

Ana's apartment is actually located in an area that although not exactly central, is very well connected; just take the metro and at the end of a few stops you are literally everywhere. As if that wasn't enough, if you want to go to the coastal area (maybe wanting to visit the "Pergola"), just take the bus (203) which passes right on the street (Avenida da Boavista), and you reach the area that overlooks the Atlantic - for those who want to return to the central area, simply take the 500 bus and you're done! The apartment is an old building, but Ana keeps it well maintained and above all well cleaned and arranged, she is very helpful, quite discreet, and if you entertain in some conversation, she ends up also telling aspects of her private life. In short, for those looking for a decent, clean, and familiar atmosphere (if required, otherwise Ana is very discreet), well this accommodation is definitely OK !!

The bedroom, and bathroom are both large, clean and nice spaces. The location is great easy commute to the apartment on the train from the airport (20ish minutes). Walkable distance to the river, and other areas like Casa De Musica and the Museo Serralves. Additionally, the breakfast is amazing, great bread, pastries, yogurt, and tea.

Ana is an extremely sweet and kind host. Her place is clean and comfortable. I stayed for 1 1/2 weeks and it was great. It is about 20 min to the center of Porto by either train (10 min walk and 10 min train ride) or via bus which stops about 1/2 a block away from the apartment. There also are a couple grocery stores and a number of restaurants within a few blocks. The area is very safe. I was a solo traveler and felt comfortable walking home from the train at night. I highly recommend staying at Ana’s place

the apartment is very close to the tram station which arrives directly from the airport, which is very convenient. the accommodation is clean is very nice, we did not take advantage of the outside because it is mostly in the shade and mid March it was a little cool. the kitchen is very well equipped the bed is large and very comfortable, the bathroom spacious. we stayed with a 16 month old child and there is no security around the stairs, it didn't bother us because we knew there were a lot of steps but you have to be very careful. Apart from the beach, we did everything on foot from the apartment. very good stay here, I recommend!

Very nice bi-level apartment, as expected from advertisement. Host is friendly and easy to communicate with and the place is smartly renovated and quite clean. Great location just north of the city center and the river - it was great to have a little distance from the tourist center while still being convenient. I would gladly stay here again.

Super double room with private bathroom with everything you need. A balcony that allows you to go out and be outside (in case there is a smoker). It is very comfortable to be able to park outside and have the car nearby. Also well connected with public transport to go to Porto. If you don't mind sharing common spaces, it's a great place!

(French) The stay was short because only one night but perfect: we did not expect a place so welcoming and comfortable. The apartment offers a breathtaking view of the neighborhood (12th floor), parking is right in front of the building door without problems. A great restaurant to do is 5 min walk: Café Turista (go taste the francesinha!), Good and cheap! The Continente supermarket is also 5 minutes away, as well as the petrol stations. In short the location is perfect because near the airport too (15 min drive for us in the morning). Small welcome tasting very appreciated, terrace, for us there was nothing missing ... the perfect accommodation as at home, the decoration of very good taste is pleasing to the eyes. The comment is worth it to be long, we strongly recommend to try this apartment :-). Thank you very much Carla!

This spot is very close to the airport and there was plenty of street parking. It worked perfectly for us since we had an early flight. Patricia left snacks for us which was very sweet of her. Only complaint is that more specific directions weren't provided as far as which apartment it was until last minute. She sent a more detailed check in process right when we were supposed to check in and since I didn't have a sim card or wifi we didn't know how to proceed. Luckily, the gym right next door has free wifi, so you can connect to it and receive her messages. The check in time was a lot earlier than expected which worked for us because of our flight but otherwise, we would have felt rushed checking out. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean.

I can only thank you for how attentive Patricia was, always available and very welcoming. Without a doubt, if I return to the area, it is here that I will definitely stay overnight. Very grateful for the hospitality.

Perfect apartment for air travellers or if you want to visit Oporto. Airport bus 604 will drop you close.Private shower , comfortable bed, great sleep.Use of kitchen and plenty of places to eat nearby and also a Pingo Doce. Warm and friendly hostess. My second stay , probably won't be my last.

The apartment is incredibly nice and clean and very close to the airport, but the thing that makes this place special is the fact that I don’t think there’s a better host than Célia: she is just the best! Great option for those who are in connection in Porto. From the airport side, 5min subway, 25min from Porto downtown by subway. Celia's son picked us up at the airport and was very kind! This place has a very good location: the metro station is 2 minutes away and you can get to the very center of the city in 15 minutes. Also, it's really close to the airport. You can get to the departures section on Uber for ~3 euros.

Small but cozy flat. To spend a couple of nights is fine. We miss some older towel for the sink. They have everything you need to spend a few days. Very close to a private parking to leave the car. Recommendable.

It was so much nicer than I thought. It was clean and pretty. I first saw a bottle of bottled water while I was in Europe. The downside is that you have to wash it in super speed like a challenge Other than that, it was really good

The time that we fixed to meet kept delaying because my luggage was missed so I have to wait for 4 hours at the airport but Diogo waited for us. Also the room was really clean and cozy so we were very impressed !!! The location was also good so we can reach everywhere that we wanna go by our feet. One thing: the hot water is allowed only for 15 min. It is noticed in the bathroom but we didnt know that at the first time. But everything was perfect !! This room was the best room that i’ve ever used before! If you didnt decide which room to choose, i really recommend this room !!!

Diogo’s place is a nice cosy apartment, very clean, have all the amenities. Very close to the city centre. Diogo is a very nice host, he helped us with local tips and print outs as well :-)

Diogo and Christiana were very accommodating and communicative. The location is very close to attractions and stores which is very ideal. The amenities listed below were all included so the description is accurate.

The apartment is exactally the same as the photo. Diogo is very responsive and the communication is perfect. The place is a little far away from the city center but you can take the bus (5mins away by walk) or the metro (15mins away by walk). Actually it was better for me to be away from the center since the street was much quiter than the center. It also has a big supermarket nearby which was very convenient. The room is very spacious with a balcony connected to the kitchen. Towels(no extra porivded), slippers and hairdryer are provided. The kitchen has basic equipment but doesn't provide salt and pepper, so you should bring your own if you're willing to cook. Also there is an airconditioner/heater so no worries. Overall, it was a very nice place with a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

This was a fabulous place! My room was large and sunny. I really appreciated the clothes washing machine! The location was perfect and the kitchen was well-stocked. The Internet was very fast. Couldn't have enjoyed it more.

The room is very clean. Its quite close to the city centre, about 15-20mins walk to Sao Bento station, and there’s a supermarket nearby by, and the area is safe! Maria is super helpful, and response quickly to my questions and requests, it was a really nice stay. I was so pleased that she helped me to booked a very famous restaurant, otherwise i would have to queue for more than an hour or even not possible to have dinner there!

I needed a room on a very short notice and I applied only on the day before my stay. Maria responded within the hour and everything went really smooth from there on. The room wasn't big, but the apartment is nice and clean and was exactly what I needed.

Ana's house is very good, clean, spacious, comfortable, well equipped and with all the necessary utensils for a comfortable stay. The location is also very good, close to restaurants and public transportation. Ana is very kind and very helpful. She gave us lots of tips on what to visit and gave us a huge breakfast basket with lots of fruits, breads, milk, juice, coffee, teas, pates and various tasty tidbits like homemade cookies and jam. for her. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope one day to be able to return. We recommend it !!

Ana is a wonderful hostess. She is very kind and helpful. The apartment is clean and spacious. There is a bus a few minutes walk away which takes you straight to the centre of Porto. I highly recommend Ana's apartment.

Alice's flat is big enough for six people. New, clean. Despite our late arrival (it was almost midnight) she was waiting for us outside the apartment. There was some food for our morning breakfast, which was a plus, as we didn't have the time to buy anything. She even provided us with a cot for our baby, free of charge. The flat is very close to the airport. It's a good choice not just for early departures, but even to visit Porto. We had a rental car and parking there was easy. It would have been very complicated in the city Centre and a nuisance at that late hour. The next day, it was less than 20 minutes to get to the city Centre and park for the hours we needed to see the city. I even forgot my cell phone charger and Alice was kind enough to meet me two days later, to return it. A very helpful and kind lady and definitely excellent value for money.

Good cost benefit, close to the airport and metro with access to Porto at 700m. Clean house, rooms with heaters and well-equipped kitchen. Host Pedro responds quickly to messages. Worth it!

The house is great. We had only for one night but got the essentials and all the amenities for a longer stay. The location is great compared to the airport and with the help of GPS very easy to find. Pedro was always attentive. 5 *
