It is a small guest house across the lawn from our house where my wife and I live. It has window AC and wifi available. Free continental breakfast foods provided. (There is no kitchen) Cleaned to perfection ! We do spray for bugs but it is not unusual to see some spiders and bugs since the cabin is right against the woods.

1832 Historic Washington Bottom Farm Log Cabin

Welcome to our renovated 1832 Log Cabin on the grounds of the George William Washington and Sarah Wright Washington 19th century plantation. The cabin was the first structure built. Then came barns and slaves’ quarters (no longer standing). The dairy barn is now a woodworking shop and the bank barn was recently restored. The main house, built in 1835, is Greek Revival style. Today, our 300+acre is Certified Organic. We border the South Branch of the Potomac River. It’s ALMOST HEAVEN !

This cabin has 1 queen bed, 1 single bed. Sleeps 3 but you could sleep 2 adults and 2 kids if you're ok with one child sleeping on the futon couch. You have access to our property for a nice walk, fishing or kayaking in the river, a relaxing campfire or just exploring the countryside. It is located towards the front of our campground by the road. There's a small efficiency kitchen. It's a short 4 mile drive to Shawnee Park, downtown Bedford shopping and several restaurants.
