  • Wonderful space to relax and refresh for the night. The beds were soft and comfortable. I got the best night's sleep I've seen in quite a while too! My room was stocked as you'd find at a higher-end hotel- coffee pot, snacks, fridge. Fresh homemade cookies were awesome! The bathroom was clean and organized too. Shower has great hot water and really good water pressure. Very relaxing experience. I arrived with my RAM 1500 truck and 12' V nose enclosee trailer. Plenty of room for me to pull in, park and turn around as needed. With also ample light to see at night when unloading. I travel up this way threw out the year, and will definitely be back for a stay!

  • Robin’s Place was perfect for our needs. We just needed a place to crash the night before the Mora Vasaloppet race, with adequate room to organize our gear. With that in mind, it was better than a hotel room at twice the price. There was just two of us, so we had more than enough room to spread out our gear. If we had four there would been still plenty of room. Real convenient to be able park right outside the door for loading and unloading. Bathroom was plenty spacious, allowing room for dressing as well as the usual. Great plus was the provision of basic breakfast foods (Fruit, oatmeal cups, Clif Bars, tea & Coffee) and toiletry items. Robin’s place is a bit off the beaten path, but for many that’s a plus. The house is situated on a beautiful wooded lot. If you are hungry, you don’t have to go all the way back to Mora. There are some good restaurants nearby on Hwy 65.

  • If I could have given 6 stars, I would have. The stay was very clean, spotless. There were snacks/fruits/coffee on the dresser, and shampoo/toothpaste/toothbrush in the bathroom if we'd forgotten anything. Speaking of the bathroom, best water pressure in any Airbnb stay I've experienced! Their dog was friendly, and quiet, and kept sperate from the rooms until we just had to say hello. The rooms/beds were very comfortable, as well. This place worked perfect for our needs.

Built in 1961, the house still has some original features that may give you a nostalgic feeling; wood paneling, brick wall fireplace, faux beams and acoustic (popcorn) ceilings. Mixed with vintage and retro furnishings and decor, you might experience childhood memories of growing up in the 60s or 70s. There is a game closet full of games, a piano, two large T.V.s, WiFi, blue-ray players and a gas fireplace to help create a relaxing, comfortable stay.
Step back in the past and make yourself comfortable in our retro inspired home. For those that lived through the 60s & 70s, the fun and quirky decor may trigger memories of childhood and simpler time.

Sunsets in Hot Tub, Cuddling to a Movie, Comfy Bed for Romance, Fishing. Come make yourself at home in our cabin on West Rush Lake, just 1 hour north of the Twin Cities. Get a break from the busy schedule, the to do lists and enjoy some much needed relaxation in peace and quite. Enjoy a huge screened in porch with the hot tub. Bring your pups and your kids to make more memories away from home. We would be honored to provide a get away for you to look forward to every year.
About us: HI! My name is Bree and my husband's name is Shaun. We are in our mid 30's, we have 2 kids, Mariah-7 and Emerik-5. We live in Wyoming MN which is 45 min from the cabin. Its been a life long dream to own a cabin and blessed to be able to have one. Because we have young kids, we do not get up there every weekend in the summer and not at all in the winter. We would love to be able to provide a getaway for a family or couple to enjoy fishing, hot tubing, campfires, sunsets, swimming at our cabin when we cannot. I hope you enjoy and come back again. :)
Cabin is located at the end of a short street on a dead end road. Very quiet and peaceful.
  • Great Location, Great Amenities and a quick and easy check in process. Would highly recommend to anybody looking to enjoy a great time on a beautiful lake.

  • Breanna's place is a cozy house right on the edge of a small lake with lots of peace and quiet. Plenty of beds as well as futons and couches for sleeping arrangements. All of the beds my guests used were very comfortable. Kitchen is great with a dishwasher that works well and a nice stove/oven. Hot tub was great of course, just note that the lid is heavy to open. The neighbors are within view and there are no significant trees between, but they were quiet. The house also has lots of large windows and a few sliding glass doors to let in natural light, if that is important to you.

    Golden2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • A great cabin in Rush City MN- comfortable, cozy with all the amenities! Breanna is a great host and kept in communication the entire stay :)

  • If you are looking for a fabulous lake place close to the cities this is it!!

    Molly2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was a perfect distance from the cities and just remote enough for what we needed. There was plenty of space for activities, my dog loved the fenced in yard, and the hot tub was an added bonus!

    Abby2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Dorothy's Cabin is a perfect get-a-way from the Twin Cities. The kitchen is well-outfitted. It's a kitchen one can really cook in - plenty of pots and pans and such. We decided not to bring our own games and had a great time playing Quirkle. There are many other games in the cabinet, especially for families with children. The couch is so comfortable and cozy and looks right out onto the back yard and then lake. We delighted in watching the squirrels running along the maze of branches, and saw several different kinds of woodpeckers. (We left our games at home, but made sure to bring our binoculars!) A night hike on the frozen lake left us mesmerized by the night sky. There were plenty of towels both for showering and drying off after soaking in the hot tub. The hot tub cover is heavy, and at first we weren't sure we were up to the challenge of getting it safely off and back on. Once we got the hang of it, though, while heavy, it was totally possible. Our dogs loved their time watching "squirrel tv" out the windows, snuggling up on the couch, and playing in the living room. We had a wonderful time, made some great memories, and look forward to coming back.

  • Super awesome place to get away to and Breanna is a great host! Will recommend 😊

    Alexa2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • We drove up to Breanna’s cabin for a girls getaway weekend. It was perfect. The hot tub was relaxing and the cabin had everything we needed. Breanna even worked secretly with one of the girls in our group to set up a surprise for us on our arrival. It was a perfect weekend. We will definitely rent again!

This is a beautiful river front vacation home about 70 minutes from the heart of the Twin Cities, that is decorated and designed with relaxation in mind. You can enjoyed the beautiful view of the river while you relax over a hot morning coffee, or as you sink into the overstuffed furniture with popcorn and a hot chocolate in the afternoon. All rentals come with a complimentary muffins for breakfast, coffee, tea and hot chocolate to enhance your experience.
This little country retreat is located on a country dirt road with little to no neighbors which makes it very quiet and private. The little town of Pine City is only about 4 miles away and the community is friendly and welcoming. Chubby's Grill boasts one of the best Bloody Mary's around which serves like a meal and tastes great. We are surrounded on one side by the river and behind us is all wooded county property. It's the great getaway experience that you will love.
It's a safe, quiet and friendly neighborhood, where most people enjoy the outdoors and lazy days floating on inner tubes or kayaks down the river. The neighbors in town and on Copper Canyon road are friendly and helpful and happy to fill you in pool n all that Pine City has to offer
  • Sandra's place is great, everything was clean and felt like home!

  • Beautiful and comfy cottage and so quiet. Perfect for escaping.

    Caren2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Sandy’s cabin was the perfect winter getaway. It was great for us and our pup, and was very roomy and stylish. The views of the river cannot be beat, I can only imagine how beautiful it is in summer! Sandy was very accommodating and responsive.

    Sasha2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this Cozy cabin overlooking the river. A perfect spot to curl up with a good book and relax! I’d definitely recommend staying here

    Jen2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, secluded, little cabin with lots of windows and light. Perfect for a relaxing getaway, at any time of year! The place was very clean, and had everything we needed to make our own meals. Just about 10 minutes out of Pine City, where you can buy most anything you need.

    Louis2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin SO CUTE and inviting!!!! Not only is it decorated cute, but it's really nice too! Jim & Sandy did a really nice job with the style of it. LOVE that floor & the kitchen is beautiful as well. And that view! <3 <3 It was so wonderful that it felt like home/our own cabin because it was so cozy. They are so generous with everything and all their things and their hospitality is beyond words. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice little private getaway without having to drive that far. And it's so affordable! They have done a great job with this little piece of paradise. So pet friendly. Along with the beautiful views and super sweet touches, you will find board games, household items, the hot tub, comfy bed and furniture, everything, except 1 closet of personal items, is there awaiting your use. There is everything you could need to cook, do laundry, relax, enjoy the outdoors, and more. It was hard to leave to return home! Thank you again! XOXO

  • Beautiful place to stay, we really enjoyed the hot tub and the amazing view of the river. Great location away from everyone but close enough to town to eat or get anything you might need. We really enjoyed the public beach in Pine city and how close we were to State parks.

    Katie2019-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay in Sandra's bungalow. It was homey and very comfortable. I really liked the screened porch. Perfect place to play board and card games. Sandra also had a nice selection of games. The kitchen was stocked with some essential items for cooking, which I appreciated. I would definitely stay there again.

*Completely remodeled in 2018, this cabin has 130 feet of direct frontage on the Snake River. Gorgeous wooded acreage gives privacy and the up north feeling, yet is less than 1 hour from Minneapolis, and 10 minutes from historic Pine City, a great place to shop and grab a bite to eat. Use our kayaks or tubes to float down to the St. Croix River, or hang a fishing line out and see what happens!
Located just feet from the Snake River, this completely remodeled modern cabin has breathtaking views and space to spread out. Level shoreline and a place to tie up your canoes or kayaks make this a relaxing retreat. Large deck with a grill and a firepit overlooking the river make hanging out fun and easy.
A quiet gravel road feels like the middle of nowhere, yet town is only 10 minutes away.
  • Had a wonderful time over the weekend at Tracy’s! Peaceful and quiet retreat from from the cities.

    Hailey2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot to get away with your pooch — very comfortable, clean, and perfectly nestled in the great outdoors. Nice creature comforts but also very simple. Tracy is very straightforward and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

    Sherri2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing cabin, So peaceful and relaxing, very homelike feeling. With nature all around. It was clean and We will definitely visit again!

    Tracy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Easy check in, provided movies, the fireplace made it very cozy during the cold winter months, provided shampoo and conditioner was a bonus because I forgot mine! Comfy bed too! The WiFi was a little slow so don’t expect it to be just like at home but we barely used it anyways. It was a wonderful and romantic weekend getaway. 5/5 stars! Cant wait to come back for the summer to see the river unthawed and have a fire!

    Makenzie2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin sits very close to the river and large windows provide a great view from any place in the living area and main bedroom. The fire pit sits at the river's edge and twice we saw a fox trotting downriver while enjoying an evening fire. The area was very quiet and peaceful in winter, with many of the cabins not being occupied during the winter season. The road and driveway were both well maintained with the snow cleared for easy driving. We would definitely stay again!

    Mark2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful slice of heaven!!! The views were spectacular, the cabin was amazing and comfy. All the Comforts of home but in a cozy cabin in the woods. Totally recommend staying here! The price was great and Tracy is a great host!!!

    Scott2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a literal gem - close to the twin cities, on a beautiful river, next to so many fun things to do! We came for the second time, again in the winter. We cross country skiied in Cambridge on 2 local trails that were spectacular and also skiid at Wild River State Park which was also incredible! We love the cabin, watching the river is captivating, the fireplace is wonderful , floor to ceiling windows are amazing!

    Barb2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is perfection. It’s supplied with anything you could need and it’s location is absolutely breathtaking! Tracy was very quick to respond to questions. Couldn’t ask for anything better. If you don’t find tranquility here, you won’t find it anywhere! Can’t wait to go back!

This is the place for the true cabin experience. Located on Devils Lake, a private lake known for its pan fish. Kayaks and a small fishing boat available at no extra charge. This beautiful cabin feels like it is in the boundary waters, only it is 1 hour away from Minneapolis. The property has stairs both inside and down to the lake, so children would need to be supervised. Dogs are allowed you need to keep them on the property and not let them go to the neighbors.
Ping pong table in the garage for rainy day fun!
  • A very homey and cozy space! The living room downstairs had plenty of seating and the fireplace was a nice bonus. The view of the lake was awesome and we made sure to take advantage of the canoe when the weather was right.

    Alec2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful cabin within a decent drive. Feels like being much further up northern. Cabin and local area have everything you need for a nice relaxing trip. Highly recommended.

  • Kimberly is a great host and this cabin is so adorable and cozy! My guest and I loved the feel! We also loved the canoe so that we could enjoy being out on the water. We had everything we needed. Great space to reconnection, brainstorm and relax! Definitely recommend!

    Shannon2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem !!! You feel like your in the boundary waters with the giant Pine's. One of most stunning sunsets I've ever seen.

    Mike2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cabin and lake, very peaceful and not at all crowded.

    Sean2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second year back at Kimberly’s cabin and we had another fantastic and relaxing weekend. The cabin has everything you might need or want, and we were especially grateful that there was a kayak, paddle board and canoe available for our use. We also used the fire pit one night which was really fun. It’s on a beautiful little lake, and if you’re lucky you’ll catch some spectacular sunsets from the dockside. Checking and getting settled was very easy, and it truly felt like our home away from home, can’t wait to hopefully return next summer.

    Claire2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for a summer weekend. Plenty comfortable and easy to get to from the Twin Cities. The kayak, canoe, and standup paddle board were an amazing addition.

Lindisfarne is located 75 miles north of the Twin Cities in East Central Minnesota on 80 acres. The Tower is just one of 3 Cabins we have here on the grounds. Enjoy a walk through the woods on one of our trails, relax in the Chapel or enjoying a fire in our fire ring. Lindisfarne is an ideal location to just get out of town for a couple days.
While staying in the Tower which is named for the corner tower overlooking ur fields. The open spaces are yours to enjoy as you walk amongst our 100 year old White Pines.
We are surrounded by lakes and rivers, the Grand Casino in Hinckley and some historical places in the area. Here are many golf courses and excellent fishing. Excellent restaurants if you love to go out to eat.
  • Great place. Nice, quiet, cozy and clean. The bell tower is especially charming.

  • Lindisfarne is a wonderful country retreat spot. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and the comfortable space. The design of the cabin is thoughtful, with the surrounding nature as the focus. The big picture window highlighted the night sky, and we enjoyed beautiful views of the moon and shooting stars. The fireplace and the heated floors made for a very comfortable and cozy winter getaway. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Hello! Thanks for taking a peek into the beauty of Dad's Lake House. He owns it; I rent it out. :) The yard is very very private and HUGE- photos don't do it justice. The house is very spacious, well stocked with things you might need and has comfortable beds! The kitchen is fully stocked; washer and dryer on site. Beautiful Master Bed and Bathroom with a huge tub- there's a small room off of the Master Bedroom which holds a twin bed. I want to be a great host; let me know what you need!
The lake is great for fishing, boating or (my personal fave) floating at the end of the dock. It's got a nice sandy bottom and is about 4 feet deep at the end of the dock. We've got some floaties and pool toys available! The deck overlooking the lake is a favorite spot for many of our guests (and my dad. :) The house is very large as is the yard! There are 2 firepits; one in the yard and one down by the lake. There are 2 grills available for use as well- one gas and one charcoal. The attached 3 car garage is also available for guest use.
The town of Mora is a small MN town. We've got a water park, a really cool old-timey one screen movie theater that also does music shows occasionally, a bunch of restaurants and a great main street with shops, etc. The house is a couple of miles out of town- it's very private. Dad loves to tell people that you can pee in the yard anywhere- that's a real selling point for him. :)
  • The view is absolutely beautiful!! The pictures don't do it justice at all. Janel was great at getting back to me whenever I had questions. Definitely would recommend, you won't regret it.

  • We had a wonderful time at this bright, charming, welcoming cabin. We had beautiful weather, and a day of rain, and enjoyed ourselves no matter what the weather was. Even when it was raining, the cabin is so cheery and bright, we were cozy playing games, reading, and enjoying the kitchen which is great for cooking. Janel was so welcoming, and the location is so private, it was wonderful for our family and pooches. Close to the Twin Cities, but still feeling like a total getaway. The deck was awesome for relaxing, chatting and eating outside. I highly recommend. Our three generations had a wonderful time. This place is a real find!

A very retro cabin for the true cabin experience. Located on Devils Lake in Mora, this cabin has all the essentials for experiencing the cabin life, a canoe, kayak, paddle boat, dock for fishing. There is a fire pit(bring your own wood), and charcoal grill. There is a screen porch for a bug free night. There is no cable or TV, truly take a break from the real world! The large lake shore has some sand. The lake is filled with pan fish and very quiet.
    Retro! Relaxing
    Quiet
  • Neat cabin that was very private and quiet. Good fishing for Bluegill sunnies off the dock. Mora is a friendly town with a lot of thrift and small shops that are fun to visit. Family had a great time. Thanks :-)

  • This is a great cabin with everything you need for a relaxing time away from the city.

    Michael2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lot of fun enjoying the lake and escaping from our busy lives for a weekend. We enjoyed having the kayaks, canoe, and paddle boat to enjoy the lake and fish when we wanted to. Fishing was good!

  • I adored Kimberly's place. Everything is super retro, and cute. It was super nice having our own private dock, and I also really appreciated that they keep the cabin stocked with towels, board games, cards, and a fully stocked kitchen too.

    Kayla2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed this cabin a lot. It has a great level lot that leads to a beautiful little lake. The cabin has a cozy retro decor and has everything you’d need. We especially appreciated taking the paddle boat out on the lake and fishing from the dock.

    Devin2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for a girl’s weekend and the place was comfortable and exactly what we were looking for to have a relaxing time. The decor is fun and retro, the porch is perfect for the evenings and the lake was so calm and peaceful. Kimberly was so quick with communication too. Would definitely recommend!

    Katie2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very nice place with a lot to do outdoors. There is very little to do in the immediate surrounding area so it is great that you are right on the lake, with a paddleboat, canoe and kayaks to enjoy. The screened in porch is a great place to sit out of the sun or away from the bugs. The house itself is very fun. We enjoyed remembering things the way they used to be and going out on the lake. The beds are comfortable and the host is very nice.

Private 100 feet of prime sandy lake shore includes dock, 2 outdoor fireplaces, large deck and shaded patio all right on Pokegama Lake in Pine City, MN 55063. The lake views are spectacular! Located just one (1) hour from Minneapolis/St. Paul, Pokegama Lake is a wonderful expansive recreational lake to enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, and more.
Newly updated mobile home has a large deck and a large additional sun room overlooking the lake with your own private beach and dock. 2 Bedroom, 1 bathroom, full kitchen with table and 4 chairs, living room, sun room, large deck, dock, 2 outdoor fireplaces (one right on shore and one by cabin), and shaded patio. Very clean with new flooring and no carpet. This space includes the following at no additional charge: WIFI, 4 kayaks, 1 canoe, 2 paddle boats, some fishing poles, some lawn games (bocce ball, crochet, ladder golf, and corn hole), indoor games and puzzles, cable TV, gas grill, air conditioner, dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer. It is also fully furnished including linens, towels, dishes, and pots/pans. Beach towels and life jackets are provided as well. PONTOON BOAT: Available at $200/day rent which includes a 6 gallon tank of gas. It is located right next to your own private dock in the pontoon boat lift. (See listing photos and here is a 5/24/19 guest's review!! "You will not be disappointed. This place has it all. It's close to amenities and other cabins but it's a fenced and gated peninsula so it feels secluded and secure. Bring the children. We spent three nights and our wild bunch never got bored even without ever turning on the TV. Paddle boats, kayaks, a canoe, yard games, two fire rings and the pontoon boat. I so wish I could post a picture of the pontoon, it's the most beautiful little boat I have ever seen. Jim is a true craftsman. Every detail of the restoration is perfect. Every time we took it out we felt like an Oriole in a flock of sparrows. At night it just glows, Jim added LEDs under the canopy and also above the pontoons. Everything is so clean and expertly maintained, the house, property and equipment. One thing I was suprised about is that they didn't nickel and dime us. They charge just enough to make it worthwhile so the value is amazing. I know I've paid twice as much for half the fun. Thank you Jeanette and Jim. We never do the same thing twice but for this we will.")
The location is just 5 miles off the freeway for easy freeway access yet far enough to be quiet and peaceful. This place is in a secure location with a fence and gate. Please note that we are not responsible for weather conditions, lake conditions or acts of nature. We have a very strict no pet policy. There are pet boarding facilities close by.
  • Had a great time! Quiet and very clean. Lots of activities available at the Airbnb from kayaking to bean bag toss. They have firewood available for purchase and you definitely get your monies worth. Would stay again.

  • Our women’s softball team was a little nervous on how we would all be accomodated being there were 17 of us.....Yes 17! Jeanette was wonderful in responding to every question we had before we even booked! The property was just as described and every question and request was amost immediately answered upon our arrival... they even pulled out an extra full sized refrigerator for our large group to use! The property had ample space for our 6 vehicles and 20ft camper. We made use of the assortment of yard games, lake floaties, and the beautiful pontoon! Not only did we each have our own set of plush towels laid out for us (bath and beach), the linens were top quality and the whole house was squeaky clean! This was the perfect place for our group and if i could give it 10 stars i would! Would definitely recommend and stay again! Thanks Jim and Jeanette for sharing your property with us!

  • This rental was great for our group of adults who wanted a relaxing weekend away from the city. The house sits on a hill with direct lake access. The beach at lake isn't huge but we used a couple of big rafts and floated past the dock. Water is only maybe 4ft deep off the end and is a sandy bottom so perfect for hanging out. The house itself met all of our needs. Large patio sets were perfect for eating meals and everything we could have needed was in the house and well labeled. No complaints from us!

    Sara2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, stocked with things to do, and sleeps 11. Make sure to bring water to drink. Jeanette is very friendly and won't stop short of making your weekend wonderful!

    Vincent2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing space and location. Such a great bonus to have the boats and water toys available for use. Great service, communication and accountability. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Don’t pass this place up... you will not be disappointed. And make sure to catch the amazing wildlife, fishing and wonderful sunrises over the water. Can’t say enough about this place. Great work!

    Ryan2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • This large mobile home has more space than you think. Great for a group of 8 over a long weekend. The water off the shore is great- weed free soft sand. Kayaks, canoe, and paddle boats make for a good time on the water.

It's generally quiet here however, being mainly a second home area, summers and weekends tend to be busier with activity. Neighbors are located to the North and somewhat further away to the South through brush and trees. Also there are homes dotted along directly across the river. All are less visible when the leaves are on the trees. There maybe occasional additional noise when four wheelers go by, or during hunting season. This is most apparent on weekends.

  • 12 of us had a reunion at Andrew's lake house and we had a wonderful time - plenty of space for all of us to hang out and catch up. Andrew was very responsive. We also borrowed Andrew's pontoon and took it out on the lake which was a lot of fun. Beds were comfortable and clean. Highly recommend for a large group, remote getaway.

    Erica2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew's place was really quiet and it was a very relaxing place to stay. The kayaks and pontoons were great amenities. The living room was very spacious and fit 12 people comfortably.

    Nino2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew is a great host. The house slept 9 adults and 3 kids comfortably. It could use a bigger table, but we made it work. The house is as good looking as the photos show it. Easy to get to, near enough to town and far enough away to be quiet at night. Reasonably priced too! I would recommend Andrew and this house to anyone.

    Myron2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • It was exactly what we were expecting and appropriate for what we paid for the stay!It had everything a group our size (with kids) needed, without unnecessary luxury. A great cabin experience! Andrew was responsive and attentive with the few questions I had during our stay.

    Heather2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is a gorgeous place for family or families. Utilize the pontoon rental on site as it adds a fun element to the stay. There is plenty of space inside and outside of the house for kids to play. Everything was working well and things easy to find.

    Aimee2019-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Great Property. Nice and private large backyard. Spacious cabin with many comfortable beds to sleep in. The only thing unexpected was the smell of the water was a bit rusty. Overall, Andrew was a great host and was very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay very much!

    Feng2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay with families! Each family was able to have their own sleeping and bathroom space with gathering areas throughout the house and property. Even when it rained we were not "on top" of each other with the open floor plan and large covered deck area. Would highly recommend this property.

Looking for a unique and exciting getaway nestled in the woods of Northern Minnesota? Look no further - Eagle Ridge Lodge is the perfect retreat for bachelor and bachelorette parties, large groups, or weddings. There are endless amounts of fun and extraordinary twists and turns throughout the property. Generous with amenities, this cabin was built for conversations, memorable times, group engagement, and lovely spots for quiet meditation. This lodge is nothing short of extraordinary. Check us out!
  • Eagle Ridge Lodge is amazing and Kent is a fabulous host! My friends and I enjoyed a perfect winter weekend using almost all of the amenities. We especially loved getting a ride on the monorail that Kent designed and built. This place is perfect for large group gatherings and has plenty of space for everyone to do activities together or split off into smaller groups. The property was easy to find and was very clean. The tower has great views of the surrounding woods and the creek. We look forward to coming again sometime!

  • The place is breathtaking! It’s exactly what my family needed in terms of space

    Clarence2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Kent has ingeniously outfitted his deep-woods compound with amenities sure to spark delight in the hearts of children and adults alike. From the monorail that wends through the treetops to the heatlamp-adorned sand room to the handbuilt lookout turret to the wood-fired boiler room to the 2400-pound floating metal concession stand to the multiple photos demonstrating Kent's fishing prowess -- every way you look at the Eagle Creek Lodge, you'll behold some unexpected and fun product of Kent's fertile imagination and relentless work ethic. And I haven't even mentioned the snowmobiles, fat tire bikes, ice fishing and drone photo shoot Kent arranged for our enjoyment! This place is a one-of-a-kind fantasy land!

    Zac2019-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Eagle Ridge is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise! Whether you are into hunting, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, atv riding etc, there is something for everyone. The house itself is amazing and the pictures do not do it justice. It is clean, well kept and very original with many unique touches. Kent, the owner is an amazing host and I cannot say enough positive things about him, his place or our stay! Our trip was to celebrate a buddies bachelor party and we had planned to rent snowmobiles up in Millie Lacs. Upon arriving, Kent kindly offered to let us borrow from his personal fleet of sleds. I truly cannot say enough about our experience.

    Taylor2019-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Kent's place was perfect! He is a great host! Watching movies in the theatre room is so cool!

    Natalie2019-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Book this place now! You don’t need to look anywhere else! We thought we were going to have an amazing weekend and it was even better than we could have ever imagined. The fireplace, fat tire bikes, hot tub, beach theater room, and overall cabin was amazing! Don’t forget to ask Kent about how many times he has been struck by lightning, and the monorail! If that isn’t reason enough to book here, I don’t know what you are doing! Kent- if you are reading this, we miss you!!! -Abby’s Bachelorette Party

    Nick2018-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Eagle Ridge Lodge is a fantastic property to get away with family or large group! The grounds are very private and there's over 100 acres to explore. We used the large (well stocked) kitchen and outdoor grill every night. Everybody in our family enjoyed the hot tub! Lance and Nicole were easy to work with and responsive anytime we reached out to them. You will not be disappointed!

Custom built log home with breathtaking views of the Rum River and 60 rolling acres. Plus guest house completely remodeled in 2019. This is the perfect retreat for families, weddings, family reunions, men’s and women’s or corporate getaways.
This serene property is great to just read a book in front of the fire; or drop a canoe in one of the best small mouth bass fisheries in Minnesota. The log home has 2 gas fireplaces. The tubing, kayaking, and fishing is amazing! 60 acres to 4-wheel on, hike, bocce ball, etc. The log home and barn were built in 2005 and is the center piece to this Ranch style homestead. The clean and pristine Rum River provides amazing scenery and opportunity for canoe, kayak, and excellent fishing. Guided fishing and hunting available; as well as pheasant release program in the fall. The original farm home was recently restored beyond its original beauty (just finished in 2019) to proved a great option for large groups. The barn is currently being setup to host venues.
  • Beautiful cabin! Myself and 9 of my friends stayed for a long relaxing weekend and it was absolutely perfect for this! We weren’t able to do any river activities as it was January but the river view from the back porch was beautiful and I can imagine the summer here is even that much better. One minor thing to note is that if you absolutely need wifi during your stay, you won’t find the best connection in the cabin. We also found the main cabin much more inviting than the guest house so we all stayed here for all of our stay. There were mostly enough pots, pans, and cooking utensils for us to make meals for all of us. For anyone looking for a remote cabin getaway, this is your place!!!! I absolutely recommend!

    Jaime2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful cabin for a getaway. Close enough to the cities to make it very doable for a night or two. Lots of space for everyone to sleep and hang out. We loved playing games by both the gas fireplaces, and a big kitchen for communal meals. Would highly recommend!

    Maddy2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect place for everyone to gather for Christmas and had beautiful views of the Rum River. It was warm and cozy inside with the fireplaces, yet large enough for everyone to spread out. We would love to come back in the future.

    Lori2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures do not do it justice, this place is absolutely stunning, both inside and out. We just had a small group here for a weekend getaway, but it was very cozy and exactly what we were looking for in a winter cabin. We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure!

    Kolby2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Huge space! My buddies and I had a great time. Thanks, Andy!

    Owen2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Rum River Preserve was perfect for a guys trip. Just about an hour away from the cities and it still felt like we were in the backwoods up North. Great location to end a float trip down the rum river and plenty of space to sprawl out for lawn games and bonfires. Highly recommend!

    Brett2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Andy’s place was a perfect get away for our family. We made some great memories while we were there. 3 days of no Tv and just enjoying the outdoors, we didn’t even mind the rain. Our 3 grandkids had a blast and so did the adults. The cabin was awesome inside and out and it was so peaceful. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and so the big dining room table was great, and we had s’mores in the evenings around the bonfire. Our son and his family brought kayaks and inner tubes and floated down the river. One day they went to a bicycle trail in town. We fished in the river a few times. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of blankets and towels. My husband and son talked to Andy and said he was very nice.

    Cindy2018-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Rum river preserve. The place is the epitome of a modern Minnesota cabin. Lots of taxidermy and knotty pine. The owner was responsive and helpful. One draw back was we were hoping for river access and that wasn’t really an option due to the steep embankment down to the river. Nevertheless, the view was beautiful and serene and the house was perfect.

  • This is a great getaway for the weekend especially if you live in the Metropolitan area, only 90 minutes from our home. We had an excellent weekend for weather, hiking and seeing the beautiful fall colors. We enjoyed a fire down by the lake and even meet some of the neighbors, which were very cordial and inviting. Great place to stay.

  • Perfect Location, For a romantic get away.

    Deni2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic not-too-far getaway from the metro area. The activity we enjoyed most was sitting on the porch listening to the waves hit the shore. There is a fire pit with comfortable chairs just steps away to the left and a small beach/wading area just steps to the right. My preschooler loved the wading area in the lake and the playground on the other side of the complex. We all loved the fresh air and the cozy, lovely space inside. We hope to come to this spot again.

Our 3 bedroom, knotty pine cabin is peaceful, yet only a 45 minute from the Twin Cities. Enjoy your morning coffee on the patio, while listening to Loons. Catch sunfish, crappies, northern and bass off our dock. We supply the scenery, you supply the memories. Roast marshmallows at the fire pit. Notice how brilliant the stars are when you leave the city lights behind. Breathe. Relax and Rejuvenate.
We have wonderful memories of raising our 5 kids at the cabin. But now our babies are grown. So It's your turn to make sweet memories. We have a new dock and raft, a kayak and a row boat. A new porch and patio with tons of outdoor chairs and tables. We have the DNR spray for weeds for better swimming. We have the basics in the fridge, an ice cube maker, all the kitchen gadgets, a Keurig and a 10 cup coffee maker. Hot cocoa and tea for those inclined. All towels & bedding are supplied. Lots of comfy couches and chairs, a fireplace, T. V. 's with local channels and a Roku on the wide screen. There are Netflix and Amazon Prime on the Roku. We have WIFI for your electronic needs. Board games, books and DVD with extra movies and TV shows. Bring your sunblock, flip flops and bathing suits. Your Ready for Vacation.
Our neighbors are wonderful on both sides and down the block. There is Flick-a-birds for a great burger or Cafe Stuga for a home cooked meal. Cambridge is just 10 minutes west for groceries, eating and shopping. Mostly, you will just want to be at the cabin. So Enjoy!!
  • We certainly enjoyed our stay at Laurie's cabin. A beautiful dock, fishing boat, and kayak, made for great fishing. Fishing off the dock for sunfish is pretty steady if you have little ones. Otherwise, we brought a trolling motor and put it in the rowboat. That allowed us to go anywhere on the lake we wished. The DuKane barbecue grill works great, and the house is filled with amenities, right down to K-Cups for the Keurig coffeemaker. There was even a can of decaf for the regular drip coffeemaker, and of course, filters also. The beds were comfortable, and the cabin will easily sleep seven without using the couch. The TV in the living room gets a couple of local channels, and the one in the family room has Netflix and Amazon Prime. Along with a DVD player and CD player, there's plenty to watch on a rainy day. There are a couple of old TV's in the bedrooms that are not hooked up to anything. We enjoyed listening to the loons and great horned owls in the evening. Also, there is a red fox in the neighborhood we saw twice. Deer are also plentiful, but you must be careful for them when driving at night. We're looking forward to our next stay. Thank you Laurie.

    Roger2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful, relaxing cabin. Fun for all ages and swimming right from the dock was so clean and so much fun. The use of a floating dock, kayak and row boat just added to the fun and enjoyment.

    Kim2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet and serene location. Beautiful lake to enjoy days and evenings. Love the new screened in porch!

    Denise2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Look no further! This place was superb, with plenty of space, great lake for fishing or boating, and loved the floating swim station. Highly recommend this gem, ideal for a couple or family.

  • You will not be disappointed if you go to this hidden gem. So comfortable and relaxing. Loved the kayak and little boat but the highlight was the floating dock. Can't wait to visit again!

    Deborah2018-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie's place is cute and cozy! It is very quiet on the lake. We saw very few other boats and no jet skiers. Although small, the fish seemed to bite all day- even from the dock. There are plenty of places to relax, both inside and out. Everything is provided, except your personal items and food. We came home relaxed and rejuvenated !

It had a wonderful view of the lake (right on the lake), had a lot of things to do, was close to things in town and things around the lake. The house had everything we needed: to cook, to relax, to sleep. it was a wonderful October break from the city bustle!

This bright and cozy 3 bed/2 bath home is a relaxing getaway just 70 miles north of the twin cities. Our cabin is set on a beautiful, pine filled peninsula offering amazing views of Cross Lake from the oversized deck or any window in the house! Whether you're interested in a relaxing get-away with the family, fishing Cross Lake (in summer or winter), hitting the casino (just a short 10 minute drive) or enjoying the nearby snowmobiling trails this cabin is a perfect fit.
  • This is the second stay here, and as always, it was awesome.

  • The kitchen was equipped with every possible tool our chef needed. The cabin was very spacious and the size of the deck was amazing even tough we couldn't take advantage of it because of the cold weather. The location is just by a lake so I could ski on the frozen lake every morning. The hosts were very flexible and responded promptly. I gave 4 not 5 stars for the expectations because my expectations are always very high. Another person would try to give 6 stars :)

  • Home was beautiful! Clean and organized! Our trip was cut short due to weather, we can’t wait to book again and come back!

  • This is the second time we’ve stayed at Ariana’s place. It’s such a cozy comfortable house. The view of the lake is visually invigorating. She has thought of everything. We would definitely recommend it!

    Tammy2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • Ariana’s lake home is the perfect spot for a family get away. You are surrounded by water on both sides because of the home’s location on Cross Lake. The large deck has plenty of seating to enjoy nice weather. We loved the birds, squirrels and chipmunks. Sunsets were beautiful. So many lovely touches. Including a thoughtful gift basket and welcome note. I could go on and on.

  • I and some friends came up here for a weekend away from the cities and had an absolute blast. The cabin was beautiful, and the deck is truly a thing to behold. Several of the group commented that it was amazing to have such a secluded feeling place so close to the city - would absolutely visit again.

    Scott2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place close to the cities.

    Rita2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great family vacation here! The cabin was so spacious and clean, and the deck space was amazing. With three little kids we had lots of room to spread out. The location right on the lake is beautiful and we had so much fun enjoying the kayaks, water rafts, and the water trampoline. Ariana was very quick to respond and a great host! We would love to return next summer.

  • This is a great place right on the lake. We were there during the winter for an ice fishing tournament so we can't speak to the summer lakeside experience but proximity to Isle and the access to the lake through resorts makes this a great spot for a vacation.

  • You wont be disappointed staying here. Excellent communication, great amenities, and property overall. Great views, easy to access, great hosts, and a very nice layout in the home. Looking forward to planning a summer trip here.

  • Mike and Leslie go above and beyond. They are prompt with communication and offer detailed instructions ahead of time. The house is newly renovated and very nice and clean. I would highly recommend renting from them!

  • This place is great! Very clean and comfortable. Awesome views of the lake from the house. Everything was just wonderful. Will hopefully be returning.

  • A lovely lake-side vacation place <2hrs from the Twin Cities! Pros: - large, well-appointed house that can sleep 8 in comfort and sufficient privacy. - spotlessly clean ; fresh and inviting appearance - extremely well-equipped kitchen - check-in and check-out very easy ; hosts responded to all messages within an hour. - lovely views of the lake from multiple locations inside and outside the house - close proximity to several State Parks ; plenty of dining options around the lake and in nearby towns. Cons: - the garage is a short walk from the house, which could be a hassle if it is raining - a VERY MINOR issue.

  • Mile & Leslie's place is absolutely stunning. My Fiancee & I brought our parents up there the week before our wedding for a mini "getaway" & I am so grateful we went to Mike & Leslie's. If you're looking for a place to go get away at, make the trip up because it was just beautiful. Wonderful communication, sparkling clean, so many amenities, just wow. We will definitely be back next year! & You cannot beat those stunning views.

  • Mike and Leslie’s place on Mille Lacs Lake was very welcoming. It had everything you would need to enjoy your time there. With a well stocked kitchen, a relaxing outdoor patio, and yard games to enjoy while taking in the lake life. We had a wonderful time and whenever I needed something Mike and Leslie were quick to respond. I highly recommend staying at their lake house on Mille Lacs Lake.

  • What a wonderful location right on the lake with plenty of space to entertain and relax. Our stay was very quiet and Theresa made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. Thank you!

    Adam2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • The home had a beautiful view with double sliding doors that welcomed the sunshine. The lake is the perfect size for exploring and they provided a canoe and paddle boards at no charge. The hot tub was great to relax in after spending the day on the lake. It was nice to be so close to town for groceries, etc.

    Emily2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place and nice view. Sure enjoyed the hot tub.

    Barbara2019-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay at Theresa's place! Communication was always fast and smooth, check-in was easy (Theresa's dad was very nice, walking us through everything), and the place itself was lovely. While it was a little too chilly to get out on the water, our group had a relaxing weekend playing board games on the big kitchen table while looking at the lake view.
