The village of Menerbes (A Year in Provence - Peter Mayle) has mostly local villagers living here. Beautiful walks and cycling are popular pastimes. There are museums, an art gallery & a few shops run by locals. Unspoilt and completely unique.

We are renting our recently renovated holiday home in the Luberon, near the village of Gordes. Situated in the former "L´orée du bois" holiday village. Our home has about 530 sq ft containing a large living/dining/cooking room, one bedroom (with a 160x200 cm bed) and a new shower bath. There is an A/Cs in each room, which can also heat. Furthermore you will find around the house 3 terraces surrounded by a garden (approx. 5.000 sq ft) and a panoramic view. One parking spot. Very calm area.

Nestled in the heart of a picturesque Provençal village, our house offers a true immersion into the authentic atmosphere of the region. An excellent restaurant « Le Crillon » is available in the village a few meters from our house (it is now open since this weekend of March 28th) . A public swimming pool is available in Saint Saturnin les Apt village, 20 minutes drive.

From your accommodation you can reach the hiking trails. Quiet reigns here. My studio is rated 3 stars by the inter-municipal tourist office PROVENCE-LUBERON. The studio has very nice underfloor heating.
