It's a rustic village setting with all modern day comforts, along with unlimited cups of herbal tea/ coffee & thousands of stories to share!! Lovely garden to chill in, vegetables grown in the kitchen garden at the back :) Lots of indoor & outdoor games to keep your little ones busy! The bathroom is on the first floor.
It's in a quaint little village away from the hustle bustle of Naggar town, yet within easy reach of all nearby attractions like:- Castle, Roerich art gallery/ museum & trust is 1 km. Jana waterfall is about 10 kms away! Manali is 20 kms from us!
  • Naggarville is a beautiful home surrounded by a quaint village amidst mountains - in other words, the perfect getaway if you're looking for snowcapped mountains as your morning view. The attic/premium room that we stayed has a tasteful interior (as does the rest of the home!) and the amenities make it comfortable for you to stay even in really cold weathers. We had the pleasure of Komal's company when Akarsh was away but both hosts have been extremely responsive and helpful. In short, I would highly recommend! If you'd like Manali to be your main area of visit, however, that will be a 30min ride from here, so you can bear that in mind. Cheers, Akarsh and Komal! Will definitely see you again, if we visit Manali/Naggar! :)

  • A great, comfy place to stay. The hosts were very warm and nice! They took great care of us and were always happy to help. A special mention of the breakfast (full of local produce) was really nice!! The place has some amazing views and was sparkling clean. If you’re looking to have a peaceful stay, this is the place for you. We really had a great time!!

  • We had an excellent stay. Komal even made us really great homemade food according to my specifications. The house itself is beautiful & Komal keeps the everything cozy. Loved sitting in the sunny garden & extra grateful for the electric blankets that kept us very warm.

  • We stayed at Naggarville for two nights and the place is absolutely adorable. The property is nestled in a quaint lane, and at a walkable distance from the near-by cafes and market. From the hospitality to the beautiful room, the place is highly recommended for those looking for a quiet getaway. Akarsh and Komal, the host of the property, were warm and really accommodating. The rooms were sparkling clean and we were able to enjoy delicious home-cooked meals, giving the whole experience a personal touch by the host. Our stay was hassle-free and we would love to come here again.

  • We visited the place in December, right after the season's first snowfall. For us beach-dwellers, they offered the best possible break from the cold with heaters and warm blankets. A warm and cozy abode in the heart of the quiet village of Naggar, right next to the castle (a steep climb away). The room is very thoughtfully set up, with breathtaking views all around. We actually shared the living space of the host! And Komal was a great host indeed!! She helped us settle down with a quick but helpful introduction to the house, gave some wonderful tips for cafes and sightseeing and cooked us our yummy breakfast. The weather was too cold for us to use the windows and platforms in the room. But another visit in the warmer season will totally be worth it!!!

Experience forest bathing and nature walks in a ‘Pretty as a picture’ part of the mountains. Ours is a warm, cosy & rustic cottage built in stone & wood nestled in an idyllic village in Naggar- amidst beautiful apple orchards and lush pine forests all around. We are always looking forward to hosting creative fun people, solo travellers, mountain enthusiasts, or just wonderful human folk who are looking for a break from their everyday lives. We will be waiting for an inquiry from you!
The cottage overlooks the ‘BadaBhangal’ range with beautiful panoramic views of the 5000 metres plus snow peaks. The calm and picturesque surrounds makes it an ideal spot for artists, writers, musicians and the like. Secluded, yet a 10 minute walk up from Naggar town (with quaint cafe’s and restaurants), we offer an interesting & tranquil abode for travellers looking to live privately. Our cottage is a homely cheerful space with lots of warmth and a creative vibe, modern comforts and well...most importantly its that unexplainable closeness to nature that wefts through all parts of the house. The home has a lush garden where we also grow our own vegetables, salads & herbs and do our own composting. You are more than welcome to savour some of the fresh produce. We have a kitchen veranda on the Ground floor with dining seating, a bigger veranda above it and a terrace for as much sun bathing & relaxing with views all around. The overall interior ambience is homespun with personal touches, artistic yet contemporary and minimal. The room we are letting out is our Guest room/studio with its own entry and en-suite bathroom, with lots of natural light. In fact you’ll get to savour the first rays at dawn. The room is equipped with a double bed, arm chair, coffee table and a heater plus over-bed electric blanket for the winter months. We are also an animal friendly home but we are sorry we will not be able to accommodate your pets as we have a pet cat who is not as animal friendly. Pet owners kindly excuse.
The gentle 10 minute walk from the main Hub of Naggar town to our home starts from a bend along Naggar Castle road and then a Pugdandi - forest path -all the way along a fresh water stream in a dense Pine and Deodar forest. You will also see traditional houses and ancient temples along the way, children walking to school & women going about their knitting with the cows. Easy village life!
  • Extraordinary mountain cottage with rustic charm and modern amenities. Looking forward to visiting again!

  • The place is nothing less than a dream. Away from people, in the middle of the forest, the place has given us the quite we didn't even think we need. Both Nikhil and Mansie are an absolute delight to talk to. Super helpful, always went out of thier way to make us comfortable and get aquatinted to the space. The food, omg, Mansie makes the most delicious food. And her tea! Best chai we've had! The room was a quite little space which was so beautiful decorated. The tiny little trinkets everywhere, each with it's unique story was such a wonderful touch. Inspite of being so secluded, it was equipped with all the amenities one might need. And the view was just marvelous. Looking at snow capped mountains the first thing in the morning was an absolute delight followed by Mansie's chai just made the holiday perfect. The space was so clean and so well done with sustainable things and minimal use of plastic which was another pro. Can't wait to go back❤️

  • It was such a pleasure to stay at Jesi and we throughly enjoyed the scrumptious food prepared by Mansie ! Mansie is lovely, easy going and took such great care of the us from pre check-in to post check-out, ensuring that we had a great time. I would happily love to visit Jedi anytime and of course, recommend to any future travellers.

  • I would like to recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay in the wilderness. Nature around you is therapeutic and the stay is comfortable. Highly recommended.

  • Mansie and Nikhil's place is a cute little abode, straight out from a fairytale story. It's a short hike up from Pappu Homestay, and its really exhilarating. The private room is perfect for two people, comes with all the amenities you need. The hot shower in the bathroom is great. The balcony is a great place to play some board games and sip some hot coffee. Surprisingly i had good 4G coverage throughout my stay, I was using airtel. Mansie and nikhil are both were warm and you should try the meals they prepare for their guests. They also gave some great local tips about where to eat/where to go. I would definitely come back soon to stay for a longer time

  • Waking up to sound of birds and free flowing Himalayan spring water, trekking around to old temple and sometimes pleasantly losing our way into the green paths, and feeding ourselves to the delicious home cooked and home grown food, this is how our stay at Mansie and Nikhil’s place looked like in the three days we spent there. The house is beautiful with thoughtful touches all around and the hosts are really amazing with so many wonderful stories and music to share. Conveniently close to Manali and still away from the chaos of tourists, we totally fell in love with this place:)

    Mani2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • We totally loved our stay at Jedi. That 20 mins hike can take and make you breath. Reaching the house, it was exactly what we expected. Connected to nature, raw and tranquil. The property is surrounded by Apple orchard and colorful flowers which made it look dreamier than the photos. The room was clean and we loved how the host has given so much attention to the details. If one wants to chill in the property, they have various games, books and indoor activities arrangement. The main part which we loved is in kind of Forrest and has so much to offer like it leads to so many hidden gems and beautiful paths, that's it's incredible. Mansie and Nikhil gave us really good suggestions for the places to explore nearby and they were worth it. Mansie cooks really well, so if taken my advice one should not skip the breakfast from her kitchen. In all we loved Naggar and their place plays a really important role in that.

  • I would put in points - 1) It is a must try place for someone who wants to stay away from hotels hustle bustle! 2) You will enjoy nature while being in nature! 3) Please plan your trip with bag packs rather breif case here because you will have to do small hiking before reaching out to the venue.

  • We were at Naggarville for 2 days. This place has my heart. It was very cosy and peaceful stay. Loved the food they served. Komal is very kind and tells you about the places you can go around. It was so cold but not to miss is the bed heater!! It was the best thing to ask for. It’s must visit place if you are looking for peaceful and scenic view. And you can always trip by just looking at the near by front snow view mountains (you know what I mean😜😍)

    Romil2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • This quaint little piece of heaven is literally among the clouds. Nestled in a small village/town of naggar, himachal pradesh is close to basic amenities (Shops, cafes etc) but the view from the mountain view room just transports you to another world. We rode up here from Manali (35-40 mins) and loved the journey. The roads are well laid out and the place is easy to locate. The view of the snow capped peaks on the way and from your room are blissful. Komal is an excellent host and Akarsh religiously followed up with us till we got there. Their home has a lovely common room which is great for larger groups. It is fun to walk into the village and explore the small waterfalls and ride up to nearby monasteries and forest trails. During our two day stay here it rained through most of it so general suggestion if you are the exploring and trekking kinds would be to check the weather conditions and avoid during rainy days ...however if you are the odd couple who are looking for a romantic getaway and to snuggle in to your warm beds and enjoy the view with a cup of hot chocolate the rains shouldn't be missed.

  • This quaint nugget of a house, taken care of by prompt and punctual home owners, is the place to be to kick back and relax in a contained and homely environment. The location is prime when it comes to the scenic view and accessibility to eateries, shops etc. The serenity within the room sways you to stay in and waste the entire day. Would definitely go back for my next trip to Naggar.

  • Really loved the place. Its really peaceful staying here. Hosts were really sweet. Would like to visit again with my whole family. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

  • This was my 2nd time in the lovely home of Akarsh & Komal, who had become like family ever since I visited last summer. won't go into the details much, however....their delicious spread of breakfasts & the lovely serene location, so close from the Naggar Castle & the other nearby attractions yet tucked away in the quiet part of the village...is surely a game changer in the heritage village of naggar, needs to be reiterated. will surely visit you guys during winters & will see snow fall!

  • 1 Amazing hospitality 2 Beautiful rooms 3 Clean and tidy 4 Good location We really felt at home. It's a great place to be - the kind you will instantly fall in love with. It will kindle a thought in your mind to leave all the hustle of the towns and settle down in a place like this. Add to that the generous hosts - Akarsh and Komal. They would look after you as a friend and guide you to nearby attractions to get the best out of your trip. Also, Akarsh is a true adventure enthusiast who has travelled extensively and can advise you for any adventure activity. Unarguably the best hosts I have ever experienced on Airbnb. PS: They also crave your hunger pangs with an amazing breakfast.

    Shruti2019-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Komal and Akarsh were the most warm and thoughtful hosts that we could have asked for. They not only made us feel at home, but also gave us some really useful tips on trekking and exploring Naggar village in general. I highly recommend their beautiful abode to all the adventure enthusiasts as well as other travellers !

    Simran2019-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Akarsh and Komal's place sits about 10 minutes walk from the Naggar village centre, overlooking the village, with the river and snowy mountains in the distance. Restaurants and cafes are nearby, as well as hiking trails and historic buildings and temples. Komal makes great vegetarian food, and have great local knowledge and stories from travels in other parts of the world. I recommend doing the Heritage Trail walk with them, the profits of which go toward cleaning up the village. I will be back!

North is a simple and elegant home carefully crafted with wood stone and glass. Nestled amidst the mighty deodars and the gushing Beas river slowly making its way up the valley, this home is for anyone who longs to dance with magic, far far away from city life. The estate is also a home to artists, thinkers and like minded people who have become a family. We live as a community in an eco conscious way and we would be delighted if you could also treat our home with the same love and attention.
THE ESTATE North is a land where anything is possible, life is easy and fun. We built a space where we could be less preoccupied by our professions and more reliant on each other as we practice new skills together. Its our home, where we experience splendid nature, make architecture, art, music and food; practice community building; learn new skills; and maintain a place where we can enjoy each others company. ---- The estate has a three floored traditional Himachali house, a parking area, a co - working café space, a camping site and the mountain above to explore. We have unfinished projects pretty much all the time and the gardens and orchards are wild. There's a shared cosy kitchen/ living area overlooking the valley right beside your bedroom on the top floor. The second floor is a research and recreation room where we huddle up for movies during the rains. The weather can either be pleasant, cold or freezing so there is no need for an AC or fan. The stone walled open café space is perfect for a calm afternoon reading a book or a long conversation about the sunset right in front of you. There are various instruments kept all around for you to let loose and jam with us into the night. Sourcing food locally is something we pride ourselves on. The food for the cafe is largely bought from the surrounding valley and our menu is based on sustainability and seasonality. The food we serve is based on the fresh ingredients and is aimed at being light and healthy without compromising on flavour. We try to give a flavour of the food of Himachal and its distinct dishes. For breakfast we regularly serve Siddu, a type of steamed dumpling made from wheat flour and stuffed with daal or walnut paste. The valley is famous for its trout farms and although our food is largely vegetarian, we occasionally serve this local speciality. The food served is driven by our desire for sustainability, simplicity and well-being. Our meals also aim to bring out the community aspect of north, what we offer changes daily and is best eaten together. There are multiple hidden spots all over the mountain estate that have been specifically created for a quick escape into the woods. "We believe in wellness of the community we live in, wellness of the forest we are surrounded by and wellness of our body, to explore the universe and the energy within." ARTIST RESIDENCY We are also an Artist Residency which hopes to establish itself as a place for artistic and community engagements. We want to help motivate and encourage the paradigm shift of humanity, which will lead to a more conscious, connected and expressive future for us all. We have an official process for residency with dues and a few rules. To know more, feel free to connect with us on our instagram @live_north. Our niche in Himachal is known for its weird, wild and wonderful global community of art and music lovers, spiritual seekers, yoga detoxers, permaculture nerds, lazy nature gazers, and the creative flip outs. This home is for everybody. CURATED EXPERIENCES & WORKSHOPS We also curate and build experiences designed to not just help the community but also mould your perspective on sustainable living. Taking from the simple Himachali life here, we can spend the day at an apple farm, collecting the harvest for an afternoon and learn about our soil from the farmer. We can spend a day getting our hands messy in the fresh neighbourhood ingredients to cook a local dish and make a meal for ourselves. We have kept a few homes for local Himalayan bees which are now an endangered species. Bee keeping is a delightful adventure and you can watch them being fed as they buzz around in excitement. Another soothing activity we love is wood carving. A wood carver from a nearby village joins us on some mornings as we sit in the cold sun pouring over a slice of wood. It is an immersive and healing experience with a souvenir to take back home. Weaving is a big part of the culture here and we organise workshops with the village weavers to imbue the tools of the traditional hand loom. Also, on most cold nights, our co working space turns into a cosy music infused folk corner. We spend the night dancing the Himachali Naati in a circle. Its a complete different energy holding hands and moving in sync to the mountain rhythm. We also host "Learning by Making" workshops on sustainable living, vernacular architecture, traditional arts and craftsmanship along with authentic cultural experiences. These workshops and experiences are bespoke to anyone who wants them, so please do mention if you'd like to be a part of them while booking. We are open to collaborate with artists, designers and creative professionals who share the same passion and values to conduct workshops at North.
We live in the centre of Naggar, walking distance from the nearest ATM, the local market, a pizzeria and cosy coffee shops littered along the mountain side. Even being bang amidst the heart of this village, it is very easy to find complete isolation and quiet if you keep walking up our property. We love the balance of the boisterous village and its ongoings along with the meditative calm the woods above give. The market for any supplies, the nearest ATM machine and the clinic all are a 10 minute walk away. SIGHTS AND SOUNDS There are multiple villages hidden amongst the mountains which you can trek up to. You can either go up the mountain or down into the valley right to the thundering Beas river. There are also ancient temples around with magnificent views and a different energy enveloping the space. Krishna Temple, a small trek up, is the perfect meditation spot. There is Roerich Art gallery which is the restored estate of a Russian painter and political activist, Nicolas Roerich. He travelled through the Himalayas, finally settling in Naggar and spent the last years of his life painting the mountains. You can view his brilliant work at the estate. Naggar is also famous for its Naggar castle which is an old structure made of stone and wood that stands on its own through just joineries. It also has a heritage museum which we are redesigning at the moment. Other than that, the entire mountain and roads are yours to explore!
  • All I can say is"North is a home away from home"

  • Best place for the artist and anybody who wants a great and different experience.

    Shreyas2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • What you'll remember most after staying at North are the random conversations. You'll remember having casually coming up the stairs and colliding with someone and then standing about chatting, forgetting your business. You'll remember the tandoor and how it's a perpetual bonfire from breakfast till dinner and beyond. You will never forget waking up to the top-floor window that frames snow-clad peaks, glowing orange in the morning sun, seen from a lattice work of pine needles. The cafe area has an air of merriment. Rahul, Ritu, and Swara are very generous with their warm smiles. You'll most likely return to North.

    Swati2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Rahul and his team are amazing. This is our second time here this year and it was as special as ever. The location is spectacular. Well worth the long trip from Chennai via Delhi and Chandigarh. The view of the Himalayas straight from your room is breathtaking. The young vibrant team that run this space is amazing and thought leading in what they do. Their committment and vision for the local community, the local craft and the environment is commendable and inspiring. We need more of such youngsters in our lives. Our two boys will choose North as a holiday destination over any other place they've been. This is our second trip and many more will follow. We will remember North

    Shammy2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • It's been a memorable first trip to Manali, made special by the beautiful stay at North. A quaint old house converted into an amazing experience by the crazy bunch running the space. I fell in love with Naggar from the moment I entered the village and the property. Rahul, Ritika and Swara are an absolute delight to interact with. They're the three musketeers trying to revive tradition and make a difference. Happy and determined! Would definitely visit again and this time spend more time at North to experience the place better :)

    Shagun2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • My new-found family in Naggar. Amazing people who care for the local community and the traditional arts. Loved their thoughts and efforts on carefully curating experiences for the visitors and friends alike. Rahul, Ritu and Swara are a bunch of gems that will delight you with their hospitality and warm-hearted nature at every step of the way. There is no way you will walk into their mountain kingdom and not fall in love with their charmingly decorated corners and absolutely adorable spaces, be it the well-kept rooms, the abundantly bright kitchen or the ever-so-buzzing cafe. Everything is well-thought of and more than cared for from the moment you arrive till the hour you depart. Can't recommend this place enough. I'm already planning a trip back to these beautiful people!

    Vinay2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place, beautiful people.

    Harshita2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • The location for North is perfect. 10 steps away from the Naggar Castle and really awesome cafes like German bakery and another kick-ass bakery right next to North I forget it's name but I know you'll figure. The rooms at the North are lovely, well set up- cosy cute, rustic and warm. The views from the North are breathtaking both in the day and night. All in all I wish I had spend one more day here, 2 were not enough.

Our beautiful place built of traditional wood and stone architecture is in the heritage village of Naggar away from the crowds of Manali but close enough to visit easily. We are tucked away in the middle of apple orchards, but walking distance to restaurants and sights. All rooms have gorgeous views of snowcapped peaks and large balconies. Mint tea, Lemon tea and Chai complimentary, anytime of day!
Continuing in the tradition of Himachali architecture of wood and stone and being eco-friendly, the bedroom has mud plastered walls, wooden cupboards, deep window seats and covered balcony with wooden flooring. Hot water is from solar heater.
The property is in close proximity to Naggar's primary attraction - the Naggar Castle. It is in the centre of the village, and supplies, groceries and other restaurants are within walking distance.
  • A young couple runs this place, very welcoming and very hospitable. Not only this but they are very adventurous too. It was a very comforting stay. If you are looking for a place away from the hustle bustle and want to enjoy the peace of Himachal, this is the one. Also the village hosts the famous Roerick art gallery and also the local women practise and flaunt their local crafts. The homestay also has a big apple orchard. All in all I really enjoyed my stay. Maza hi aagya. Cheers to Brighu bahiya for being such a helpful host.

You will get 6 beds in our artist dorm which has 3 bunk beds. THE ESTATE North is a land where anything is possible, life is easy and fun. We built a space where we could be less preoccupied by our professions and more reliant on each other as we practice new skills together. It's our home, where we experience splendid nature, make architecture, art, music and food; practice community building; learn new skills; and maintain a place where we can enjoy each others company. The estate has a three floored traditional Himachali house, a parking area, a co - working café space, a camping site and the mountain above to explore. We have unfinished projects pretty much all the time and the gardens and orchards are wild. There's a shared cosy kitchen/ living area overlooking the valley on the top floor. To know more, feel free to drop a mail at livenorth360@gmail.com Our niche in Himachal is known for its weird, wild and wonderful global community of art and music lovers, spiritual seekers, yoga detoxers, permaculture nerds, lazy nature gazers, and the creative flip outs.
LOCATION We live in the centre of Naggar, walking distance from the nearest ATM, the local market, a pizzeria and cosy coffee shops littered along the mountain side.

You've landed at the right place if you are looking for a quiet, relaxed, homely, and peaceful stay. A neat and smartly appointed first-floor flat of our family house is available for guests. Nestled amidst apple orchards, the house is comfortably isolated from any other houses and all you can hear is the soothing roar of the vaguely distant Beas. The house is situated right between Kullu & Manali (17Km apart) in one of the widest parts of Kullu Valley. You'll love the quiet atmosphere here.
Neat, spacious and smartly appointed first-floor flat of our family house is available for guests. The flat is accessed via a private enclosed stairwell with its own outside entrance separate from the ground-floor living areas, where we stay. It has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, along with a kitchen and hall with dining area. The three carpeted bedrooms have ceiling fans, wardrobes, double beds, tables, and wooden chairs. Two of the bedrooms have balconies looking out from opposite directions onto fruit trees and hilly verdure. The main hall opens up to a huge balcony with a majestic view of the valley and River Beas. The kitchen has a gas stove, fridge, microwave, cooker, pots/implements, and containers/cabinets/racks. Solar and electric geysers supply hot water. WiFi for normal usage is also available. Above the flat is a rooftop with remarkable views all around.

  • It was the first time I stepped out with my family after a long time. We were looking for a homely place to stay at Manali and the Home did not disappoint. The past 5 days were some of the best! The place is sparkling clean and the view is to die for! The family was very welcoming! Food is available all the time from a local restaurant and Jony Bhai also provided dinner at a minimal cost. All in all, it was one of the best vacations we've had in a long time Definitely a recommended place for families and groups all the same.

  • This Airbnb is so incredibly beautiful and unique, high up near the top of the mountain with panoramic views of Kullu valley. Surrounded by apple orchards and nature, perfect for exploring and relaxing. Dimple picked us up from Manali for a fair price and was such a kind and thoughtful host. He cooks delicious food and is always ready to help with anything. Loved our stay and will be visiting again!

  • Had a really great experience at dimple’s place. Dimple and his dad are excellent hosts, always there to help you if needed. They will also help you out with nearby hikes. The place is a gem — in the middle of an apple orchard on the top of a hill, away from all the hustle and crowd, yet easily reachable ( a bumpy ride followed by a short 20 min hike) with all the amenities you would require. You will have the whole place to yourself so privacy wont be an issue. I will definitely visit again. Thanks dimple for everything and making our new year special.

  • First thing is there is no other place you will find like this. Not only because it's secluded from the village but it's also almost on top of a hill. The view is not explainable here not even in the picture i have taken. Once you're there, you'll feel it. You'll have a clear view of Naggar and kullu when you're looking down and up there is layers of snow-capped mountains surrounding you. Oh and if you make it out of the house at night after 10-11:00 you will see there's almost no sky except stars and i bet you've never seen them this close. There's all over apple trees and when I went, in December, they were covered with snow. Now the most important thing. There are actually two ways to reach this place. Make sure you ask owner which is the way-in for car parking. Otherwise there's a 45mins-1 hour steep trek is required. The owner Dimple and his father run this place. They'll come to receive you themselves. The experience with them was incredible and also the food we had was excellent. And they'll provide almost everything you'll ask for. Rest when you're in there, you'll know.

  • Dimple’s place above the quaint town of Naggar, is an unmistakable haven for anything you’re seeking. The silence of the forest and apple trees surround you with a sense of calm and the music of birds liven up your day. Not to forget how brightly lit the house gets during the sunlight hours, creating a perfect setting for almost anything you fancy, followed by a dramatic sunset almost every evening. This was my second visit to this home and I feel like I have another visit due already. I visited it during the apple harvest season and tasted the best ones of the season. It’s a different pleasure to take a few days off or many in certain cases and live a quiet, simple and spiritual life in a place like this. You observe every moment, every sip of that tea you made, the pleasure derived out of a basic meal you cooked on such an elevation and just taking some time to let your thoughts educate you. It’s the best quality of time you could spend with yourself or your loved ones. Do remember to be mindful of the mountain if you wish to visit this place. Cause no pollution, no harm and no noise. For the mountain will always know who you were.

  • You'll fall in love with the place and never want to step out. The view is breathtaking from the place. The host (Deepak) was very polite and helpful. We loved the place and would recommend everyone to visit there.

This is our old family home built in traditional Kulvi architecture. It is situated in a quiet and peaceful place isolated from any other houses, so all you can hear is the river Beas' distant roar and birds chirping. Two rooms, one functional kitchen, and washroom is available to the guests. You will love the quaint and peaceful atmosphere here.
Please note that other portions of the house are on rent but have separate entrances so your privacy won't be affected. The place is situated right between Kullu and Manali - both 18km apart, a kilometer away from the highway, well connected by a motorable road. Vegetarian food can be provided at minimal rates and several eateries are available nearby.
Situated in Duwara village, right in the middle of the widest part of the Kullu valley with breathtaking views of Beas and snow-capped mountains all throughout the year. A restaurant is barely 300m from the place and plenty of food options are available along the highway as well.
  • Writing a review is a bit tricky when you had an experience words can't do justice with. Ambika's home is a perfect five. You get the house for yourself. Neat and clean. Complete privacy. Really good views. Tasty food. Manali is a twenty minutes drive. Public transport is also available. You will fall in love with the architecture of the beautiful house. Take a walk to the river. Jumbo and brownie are there to accompany you. Or just sit in the veranda. Jony bhaiya (host's brother and co-host) is just a call away if you need anything. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Jony Bhaiya and the whole family. :)

  • This bnb has all the things that can make anyone feel at home. Hosts were very nice people and have kept the premises spectacularly clean, providing for all the amenities one can think of for a comfortable stay. We would recommend this place to all if they want a comfortable stay instead of staying at Manali or Naggar. The place was cozy, private and serene with the sound of the Beas river reminding you of nature’s beauty.

  • The place was beautiful and the host was very welcoming. Specially the home made food and chai were amazing. And the best part was the views in the front.

    Shikha2019-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • Ambika and her brother's place is this fantastic traditional stay indeed in the middle of trees with the sound of the river ever resonating and the manifold bird's and insects sounds for the delighting our ears at all time. It is a very poetic situation. And Jony, Ambika's brother has been making sure at all time that everything was going well. He has helped me from getting to the hospital when I fell sick to dropping me to the nearby town, to taking food for me as my health was too bad to go out. Someone comes to clean every week, all the furniture one's need are there. The room is not in the middle of the family area but beside which makes it perfect for who seeks solitude. Overall I have been extremely happy with my stay and highly recommend it to anyone from family to backpacker to retreat seekers! Thank you, Yy

The Pent House offers 2 Luxurious bedrooms & 1 attic room, all with attached Bathrooms, a spacious living Room with three side stunning view of the valley, A Fully functional private kitchen cum dining room, 1 powder room, & Balconies. It is designed for a family of 6 & more but not recommended for 3 couples as the attic room is semi open to the living room and has less privacy. You can also hire a cook at an extra cost or order home-made fresh food from the menu card of our kitchen.
The Cottage is developed with a concept of Home Stay where people could not only enjoy, interact & feel the mountain culture, customs by living along with the families but also enjoy their privacy. It is located at the Heritage village Naggar surrounded by fruit trees, flowers and snow-capped mountain ranges of the Himalayas. All the rooms offer the three side mystic view of the mountains & valley which helps you to ‘connect’ with Mother Nature.
Situated at an altitude of 1700 Meters, at Treetops cottage you just do not want to ‘see & do’ anything except sipping your tea/coffee and view the awesome four side view of the mountains. A walk from your cottage will lead you to the Gauri Shankar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva carved from stones and is among the only few stone carved temples in the valley, then walking up to Tripura Sundari Temple, an exemplary pagoda style architect of the area to the famous Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery of a noted Russian artist who settled here in 1929 . After having a fresh breather among the pine and deodar forest walking down from the Krishna Temple to Naggar Castle, which was built in 1460 by Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu (now have been taken over by HPTDC) having a cup of tea and viewing the awesome view of lower Beas valley is a unique experience. Just in the courtyard of Castle complex is Jagati Patt Temple, popularly known as the ‘Seat of Power’ of all the Gods and Goddesses of the valley . Other than nature walks, experience of milking a cow, witnessing the local females on a weaving unit, going out for angling and getting lucky to get a trout for yourself, exerting yourself on the meandering forest trails with a mountains bike can be a life time experience……… The visit to Goddess Hadimba Temple, to Manu Temple where Lord Vishnu in his celestial boat during the great deluge sent the seven saints along the siblings of the world to start the world again. The presence of Buddhism can not be ignored in Himalaya so as in Manali (20 kms.) where one can feel it by visiting Buddhist Monasteries (known as Tibetan Monastery) in town along with the famous shopping spree at Tibetan market with a sumptuous lunch at any of the restaurants in Manali town. Nevertheless, the visit to Rohtang pass ( 70 Kms.) (or the popularly known as snow point) an awesome experience so is doing paragliding at Solang . Other than this, the usual visit to the famous Parvati valley to visit the hottest water spring in the world at Manikaran (65 Kms.). The visit to Manikaran can be associated with the white water rafting in the river Beas for an exhilarating experience.

  • Had a great time in this property. Also Mr. Chandan was a great host, we checked in 4 hours later than the provided time and he was present at the property to receive us. Mr. Chandan also provided us with useful information regarding the nearby places and safe driving routes in case we have to drive late at night. Food was great and services were quick. The property is located about an hour drive from Manali Mall Road towards Kullu district. Property has a wonderful view of valley, snowcapped mountains, lush green grounds. Highly recommended.

  • The penthouse at the treetops cottage is a gem. This place gives you a panoramic view of the snow capped Himalayan ranges. This place sets a perfect stage for those who are seeking quiet and peace. The food is delectable and the level of hospitality at this place is top notch. A must visit if you are in Naggar or Manali.

    Abdullah2019-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • It was a beautiful cottage, well kept and had amazing views from our balconies. All the basic amenities were present. The host, Chandan received us personally even though we were checking in at 11:30pm at night. He is a very warm and homely gentleman. The property also had its own orchard with a variety of fruits such as as apples, peaches etc. He also offered us a pear to taste from his own tree. He recommended places for us to visit and gave us good information about the local area. Tilak Raj was one of the staff members that served us food and was a very warm and lovely person who took care of all our needs. The property also has 2 dogs, Shadow and Google, both are extremely friendly and fun to play with. All in all an extremely wonderful place to go.

Our home is located in Naggar, Himachal Pradesh, India. Naggar is a charming and quaint heritage village. It was the capital of the Kullu valley in the 15th century. At a height of 5,775 ft, Naggar faces the lush apple and plum orchards of Raison & Katrain villages to its south and snow-capped Greater Himalayan mountain range to its north. Unlike the rest of the Kullu valley's major towns and villages located by the Beas, Naggar is ensconced high up in the mountains and has some of the best views to offer. It is the place for solitude and soliloquy, poetry and art, and days spent rambling through forests, orchards and cute little villages dotted with traditional old wooden houses and rapidly growing concrete houses. Naggar has some very beautiful walking and hiking trails which are worth exploring. Spectacular views of the Dhauladhars, gurgling streams, lush green forests, a smattering of beautiful temples, an art gallery & a museum by the famous Russian artist Nicholas Roerich, and an ancient Naggar castle built in kathkuni architecture make Naggar a very charming place for a quiet holiday. Our house is located in the middle of the woods. The neighbourhood is beautiful & peaceful. There are limited but decent 'seasonal' cafes, bakeries and dhabas in the village which are mostly at a 30 minutes hike from the house. Primary health clinic and pharmacy are available in the village

  • The Host Mr. Chandan and his team were extremely helpful with great insights about the local spots and knowledge about places not normally visited by tourists. Hospitality was above and beyond a standard 4 star hotel. We experienced true customer focused hospitality. Thank You!!!! P.S. Wife thanks you for the fruits Mr. Chandan.

  • We had a wonderful time here. The homestay is located close to the market and restaurants in Naggar, and at the same time is in the middle of local homes. The house and the room is beautifully made and maintained, and has great mountain views. And finally, the hosts were lovely!

  • If there were 6 stars instead of 5, I would have given this place 7 stars. Brighu Bhai has been more than just a host, but a friend. And the place has been more than just a stay, but home. We went to a couple of more Airbnbs on this trip after Brigu bhai's place, but nothing was even half this good, albeit the ratings were the same. Hence, 7 stars.

  • A beautiful place with such a lovely view. Brighu and family were amazing hosts. The home cooked food was such a delight. Would love to stay over again sometime.

  • Very comfy and quiet place. Host is very helpful. They allowed our dog to stay with us, she enjoyed a lot in open space. Had an awesome stay with family.

  • We loved staying in the loft studio at Himalayan Brothers Adventure in Naggar. The loft space was perfect for children - both younger and older. The attached kitchenette was well equipped with toaster, kettle and induction stove so we could make some quick eats. The loft itself was spacious, tastefully furnished, with a beautiful balcony where we could sit all day and take in the view. Great space to stay, welcoming and friendly hosts with lots of helpful information who arranged our sightseeing and perfect location close enough to Naggar castle, but tucked away from the crowds. Will definitely be coming back!!

  • Beautiful cottage and hospitality!!! One of the best properties I have stayed during my many many trips! The cottage was top-notch... clean... beautifully maintained... decorated with plants and first rate beautiful furnitures. The hosts were very cooperative and completely non-intrusive. The food was super delicious and we just loved every dish. Special thanks to Bobby - this guy was prompt and so helpful... every time! I forgot to thank him in person, but I hope he receives our thanks via this review. I am going to advertise and recommend this property within my social circle for sure. Thank you Chandan (& family) and AirBnB for this listing! Five star experience.

  • Beautiful location and property. Extremely well done up and well maintained unit. Spacious private garden with apple/cherry/apricot trees and roses of all colours. The view from the balcony is lovely. Chandan is a very responsive host. Since he resides in the same complex any issues can be resolved quickly. Do take his advice in planning out your schedule as he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

  • Must stay place near manali and away from the traffic of the main town . Great cleanliness and hospitality. The host is the best i have encountered. Great view! Staying here more frequently.

  • Words fall short of how spectacular Chandan's Cottages are, and how brilliant our stay turned out to be. From the time of booking onwards to when we reached Naggar (from Delhi) and to when we were heading back, our experiences at the cottage, the food, the hospitality, all went from wow to fantastic. Chandan is a great host, very amicable, made us feel right at home. His staff too, very polite and courteous. They'd go out of their way to make sure you're enjoying your stay. Although all the Cottages are beautifully done, ours was exquisite. Homely, inviting, gorgeous, our dream home in the hills. It was also quite a delight reaching there to find the garden ncovered with snow. And the views... Can't wax poetic enough about them; Amazing views from all the bedrooms. Superb modern amenities in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms. Not less than a five star stay at a hotel. We'd love to visit again, for the view, the cottage, and the hospitality. Rating this holiday home a 5/5.

  • It is a great place and the location is perfect - 5 minutes by from the Naggar bus stop by a rik or a nice 15-minute walk. Chandan ji was gracious enough to send Bobby (he will be your man friday whilst you stay there) to pick me up on his scooty since I was by my self. I was upgraded with no extra charge since the room was available (thank you again for that :D) and the room is just gorgeous! You will love your stay there - the view from the bed is of the mountain valley and it does not get better than that. Also, I had to stay back a couple of days because of landslides and heavy rains and once again Chandan ji was more than helpful! He called people and figured out the best time/way to leave. I stayed there for a total of 5 days and loved each and every one.

  • Treetops cottage is quite a charming space right in the middle of flower gardens and apple orchards. The garden has quite a few succulents and many beautiful flowering plants. The apples is the orchard were just starting to ripen when we were there. The balconies are great for bird-watching with Himalayas in the back-ground. Chandan and his crew are quite hospitable and do go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Being quite far from the main tourist town, it's quite pristine and very quiet all through the day. We managed to walk around the village of Naggar and also up to the castle which is quite close by.

It is ideal for honeymooning couples, as it offers cosy romantic evenings, and they can literally float on a cloud. Families with children will have unimaginable fun, as they live a top an exiting tree house. And if you're a single traveller, it the perfect place to soak in on the heavenly views and retire for the night with a book. In ancient times, the valley was sparsely populated by nomadic hunters known as 'rakshas'. The next arrivals were the shepherds who arrived from the Kangra Valley and settled to take up agriculture. Some of the earliest inhabitants of the region are the 'naur' or 'nar', which is a caste unique to the Kullu valley. Only a few naur families are known to exist now. A naur family in the village Soyal near Haripur on the west bank of Manali was famous for the vast land they owned and their practice of having 'rakshas' as their labourers. The British introduced apple trees and trout, which were not native to Manali flora and fauna. It is said that when apple trees were first planted the fruits were so plentiful that often branches, unable to bear the weight, would collapse. To this day, apple—along with plum and pear—remains the best source of income for the majority of its inhabitants. Tourism in Manali received a boost after the rise of militancy in Kashmir in the late 1980s. This once quiet village was transformed into a bustling town with many hotels and restaurants.
  • I loved the location, tent, and the hospitality they provided. If you wish to visit Manali and have a very calm and quiet stay check out this place for sure. :)

  • Our stay in Katrain and around Manali was unforgettable -all thanks to Ambrish's hospitality and wonderfully beautiful home. Absolutely fantastic place- incredible traditional vegetarian North Indian food cooked by Ambrish's family and staff that kept us warm and nourished for the entirety of our stay. The tent is so cosy, pretty and amazingly connected with wifi and HBO ! Also check if the tree house is available as it's definitely worth spending a night in the equally cosy beautiful treetop cottage with whopper vista views of the Himalayas! We loved this place so much that we came back a few days after our original departure to spend another extra few days in this heaven. So hard to live this little gem of a place. We will definitely be back !

  • A very scenic and cozy place in the woods.Awesome ambience and food. It's a home stay and they cook for you if you ask . The food is delicious ( better than any star hotels ). Everyone is very helpful . If you are a natural lover you would love this place. You have pomegranate, apple , kiwi , parsimony trees . We stayed in a tent house in the middle of all the trees , a very nyce experience . And there are n number of flowering plants which adds to the fragrance.

  • After a long journey on a bus from Delhi, I was greeted by Ambrish in the lovely village of Katrain. An immediate sense of home overtook me, a true reflection of the experience offered by Ambrish and his wonderful family. The property was lush, surrounded by fruit trees, greenery, fresh air and only the sound of nature. Ambrish warmly welcomed me into his home, sharing not only his advice on travel, sightseeing and tourism - but also his wisdom, honesty and friendship which constantly reminded me that I was in the perfect place! Katrain is only a short and amazing local bus trip to Manali, the views are incredible and the river energizes you at just its sight. Highly recommended - and the plums are DELICIOUS.

LOCATION We live in the centre of Naggar, walking distance from the nearest ATM, the local market, a pizzeria and cosy coffee shops littered along the mountain side.
  • Please see my review on their other listing. The same holds true for this. The place is fabulous

  • I spent 5 days here, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room had a plantation bungalow vibe; spacious and comfy. Food was great. And when I was cold there was a tandoor (?) to warm myself, really thankful for that when snow fell. In short, if you like staying in nice places, you’ll love it here. I cannot thank the hosts enough for their gracious hospitality.

  • Visiting North was like catching up with old friends. It was great to hear about the collective’s local projects and get an insiders view of the town and surrounding villages. We shared some great social occasions and loved the very stylish room and building. The location was ideal, close to upper Naggar (Naggar Castle, Roerich Museum, some cute bakeries and restaurants, local temples and forest walks, incredible views). We only wish we could stay longer to get involved. Best for the young or young at heart, for creative dreamers and those looking for inspiration. We hope to visit again.

  • First of all if you are planning for Manali and you hate being stuck in traffic then this the best location for your stay. Early to reach here and early to leave so you can bypass the heavy traffic towards Manali. Second but most important the Ambiance and the location for this cottage is amazing. I really enjoyed the sunshine and snow peaks while sitting in the balcony surrounded by Apple orcheads. And if you are planning a stay here in winter then don't worry about the cold, This place has amazing Tandoor in hall and great heaters for your rooms. Food is good and Healthy, also they provide local cusines on demands. Fir sight seeing there are many places near by like Naggar castle and taxi/location/vendors are provided by Mr Munish. Also if you are fond of Bike riding then you have always a option for rented bike available within the cottage. The only thing which needs an improvement is that the location of the cottage should be much preciesed in google maps. Over all i really liked my stay ,loved the food, hospitality and time spent here. I would definatley recommend others to come and explore this stay and looking forward to back here ✌🏻

  • Really a great place for those who are looking for a peaceful holiday time in the mountains unlike the hustle - bustle of the main town of Manali The view is spectacular from each and every room Food was just like I always prefer to have, simple and hygienic . Sitting by the warmth of the tandoor in the living room is the best place to sip your favourite drink while reading a book Last but not least the host is very friendly and cooperative.

  • We had a wonderful stay to enjoy days of new year, and were very satisfied with every aspect of the hotel. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable regarding places to visit in Manali. The Cottage is very clean throughout, and our room was spacious with everything that we needed. Breakfast was substantial, and suited all tastes. The Cottage is quiet, and is situated near to few must go places. We would highly recommend a stay at this hotel. Few things that we liked most were:- 1. They provided Royal Enfield to roam local places. Which was amazing gor me aa bike lover. 2. A very quick assistance they provided when our car broke down with some problems. 3. Best part was the owner knows punjabi language. It was convenient to communicate with him and express what we need. 4. They arrange all what you need, from bikes to treaking packages. 5. Highly recommended to all who wants a pleasant stay. Would have given more than 5 start if i could. :-)

  • I have visited Kullu Manali many times, and I have to say, this is by far one of my favorite home stays. Stayed here for a week to enjoy some quiet time away from city life; to practice yoga, indulge in my artwork & writing. A hidden gem 💎 in Naggar, with magical sunset views of the Himalayas! Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle. Also, don’t miss out on the delicious food they make for you (it’s upon request) ...try their parathas for breakfast! Host was also really caring and very responsive. He helped plan few activities and travels for my group! Totally recommend this host & home. Hoping to come back again. Thanks

  • where Do I Begin?? hmm.... {Let's Start at the very beginning, a very good place to start. when you read you begin with A-B-C when you sing you begin with Do-Re-Mi . . . The first three notes just happen to be Do-re-Mi!!! } you need to hummm.. this to make sense. Lo and Behold!!!!! Mount Happy happended on 05th October,2019. Mount happy > Chaki Village > Naggar > Patlikul > Kullu > HP It took us around 20mins in cab from Patlikul where we got down to reach the beauty,.i.e., "Mount happy". The first fine chord that this serene beauty strikes with you, being the fact that you have to do a short trek to reach the place. you cannot simply drive your car inn... we were welcomed by, Ankit Bhai- {our host / turned our guide/ then our tour manager / lastly a brother (a big brother) for life...} Preet Bhai- {when you see him first, you would never imagine him being the person you gonna miss the most when you leave Chaki for the Lip smacking curries/Grilled Sandwiches you gonna feast on very soon.} & the most heart warming welcome came from Brownie and Bella. You need to visit the place to know these beauties. you show some respect there ok? its their territory. the most sweetest canines you will come across everrr!! First, we took our tour of lets say in a cliched manner, the mansion/the Space/Mount happy. and it was an "architectural fantasy" drop the Mic!! Made in the unique Himachal way {stones and wood} in layers. we had reseved the upper room with the view {attention ppl, you go for this one while its still there} Everything was pitch perfect when we walked into our rooms. No complains at all, the detailing you have put in is- "explicit" Like you said, "Devil is in the Details". drop the Mic!! >>>{Ankit Bhai!!! The way you arranged our itinerary was commendable & so very supplemented our pennyworth planning of the trip. hehehe.. The amount of knowledge and insights you have about the places around is amazing & how does every single human we came across in Chaki know about you?? You are damn famous here mahnn!!}<<< Preeth Bhai gets all the super deals done. whether its cabs/ trek routes/ paragliding/ must visit cafes/ places to vist. Jana waterfall (kais Widlife Sanctuary) is a must must on the itinerary for everyone. A walk/trek down from the property for a straight 30mins, you will touch down on the "Beas". it will stay as may favourite moment in Mount happy. Throughout the trail you will see humongous snails (just don't hurt them) and apple orchids which is a treat. Making this trek to the Beas a solo one has its own brownie points attached to it. We where taken care of by Poonam di and Preet bhai like nowhere else. we got spolit during our stay. The Inhouse menu is very satiating. Dal Tadka, Rajma, Chicken and my favourite fish were all mesmerising. No worries if you are a binge eating soul, black coffee and sandwiches run all day. (thats were we got spoilt!!!) The idea of Mount happy transpired by Ankit just inspired me a ton, for the readers this might come through a little overboard. just in case if its needed, excerpts from one of our conversation : >>>{me : why don't you increase your prices, considering the value of the product on offer. its doesnt make sense to me. do you have a valid reason? Ankit : I believe even young people need to travel as well. not just the ones who can afford it."}<<<< I think it sums up everything. thanks everyone @Mount happy for making this happen. you guys are the coolest and there with a purpose. Pizzas can be wood "fried" too....(only me and Ankit bhai knows about this, lets keep it that way). Drop the Mic!! Until next time.

  • Had a wonderful stay with family at Mount Happy. , in the lap of mother nature, far from the madding crowd Great place, great people... esp our host Ankit and the chats we had, and the ever pleasant Preet. with Brownie and Bela providing canine companionship. never felt out of place !

    Abhay2019-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • The place was extremely beautiful and tranquil. A bit off road which makes it all the more peaceful. Ankit is extremely helpful and takes care of all your needs. The food made by Preet bhaiya is a reason in itself to visit the place. We had a wonderful experience. Would definitely like to visit again.

    Divya2019-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best places I've ever had the pleasure to stay at. It's a beautiful wooden cottage situated a bit off the road in the middle of mountains and sorrounded by Apple orchards and greenery. The food made by Preet bhaiya, the caretaker and cook is tasty and hygienic and made with herbs and veggies grown on the property itself. Moreover the host, Ankit makes you feel like home and is fun to talk to and hang out with.

    Tarun2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great hospitality. The host was good to talk to and was very forthcoming with tips about the local area. The cottage is beautifully constructed and the location is pristine. There are not a lot of houses around and therefore no ugliness. Only the breathtaking beauty of mountains and lush orchards.

  • You will find an extremely beautiful and spacious place at an extremely affordable price. Also, the hosts, Sunny uncle and family will take care of you in unimaginable ways. Book this place if you want to stay away from the hustle of the town, it’s no less than a picture straight out of heaven.

  • Had an amazing stay with warm hospitality from Mr. Sunny's family. The Airbnb is situated in a little village, Sajla, about half an hour from Manali. The design is beautiful, especially the massive living room with windows looking out on the countryside and mountains. We sat sipping chai while enjoying the view from the balcony. At night, the view of the stars took our breath away. What really made this stay great was the warmth and friendliness of the hosts. From guiding us on logistics to providing wholesome and tasty food, they made us feel right at home. Anytime we had even a small request or need, they went out of their way to help us. Suggestions to those visiting: there is no wifi available but mobile signal is very good. If you plan on cooking, ensure you stock up on groceries before sun down. There is a shop down the lane that can provide you with basics. Utensils are available in the kitchen and the family is very helpful if you require anything more. Overall, one of our favourite stays. We'll definitely be telling our friends and visit again soon!

It is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city and takes you to a different dimension. Aunty is so helpful and makes you feel at home, their home made food is extremely delicious and a must try. We'd definitely come here again soon.

  • This is a dream come true for us. We are simply in awe of how picturesque the place is, how friendly the people are and how simple their life is. We were fortunate to have arrived just in time for the apple harvest: we saw the trees full of apples, helped (a tiny bit) with the harvest and saw how the trees stayed magnificent even after all the apples were plucked! We hiked (trekked) to the waterfalls; stayed in lazy and chilled; took the bus to Manali; cooked our own meals; and just simply enjoyed our stay immensely. On the final day, we even saw the first snow on distant hills. The location is lovely, right in the middle of an apple orchard. It is half way between the Kullu valley and Manali. We describe the experience in detail on our blog nowalive dot net. Not sure that Airbnb will let this link stand but if so, you can go directly to https://www.nowalive.net/home/himalyan-home for a detailed review of this place and our experience. The host family of Sunny and Pushpa is simply filled with love. We had the entire top floor to ourselves and they respected our privacy while also being friendly and helpful. In every way, our 12 day stay at this place exceeded our expectations and we are finalizing plans to spend a full month there in 2020.

  • An oasis for the weary traveller. A second home of sorts in a quaint and beautiful town. Surrounded by orchards and mountains breathing life into us. Hosted by a warm and helping family who are passionate and love to care for their guests and one is treated like family(they gave us all one could apples from their own orchard). The place itself is efficient, well lit and ventilated with ample of space inside and outside for every mood. Situated in between Manali and Naggar nearly an hour away. The town Sajla itself has a Vishnu temple, waterfall and plenty of grocery stores and a wine shop. Good network connectivity and a fully functioning kitchen. An inspiration for the artistically inclined and a perfect getaway.
