I could write on forever about the goodness of this place. Firstly Amita ma’am & Raj sir are the most comforting hosts ever, they treated us just like their kids. Ma’am cooked amazing food for us & both of them guided us with tips & recommendations. Their place is spacious, very cozy and has a subtle touch of decor. The most amazing part is the room’s mesmerising view!! You will fall in love with it in a blink of eye. We spent long hours in the room/balcony just enjoying the view, cool breeze and beauty of the lake with hot coffee/tea/reading books. We had all the privacy and yet it felt just like home. It was my husband’s first visit to Nainital and we’re already planning our next trip to this property. We also had some interesting discussions over breakfast. Thank you sir & ma’am for amazing hospitality. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!

Amita aunty and Raj uncle built a home with exquisite taste, abundant love and interest - which shows as soon aa you get inside the door. The view from both the room and living room is simply breathtaking.The communication from their end is timely and helpful even before reaching the premises, they offer help in all possible ways. We found the local tips and guidance they shared particularly helpful. And of course, the conversations and anecdotes shared over delicious food and otherwise, were equally delightful. This was our first AirBnB experience and they've set the bar really high! We will be thankful for the memories :)

A beautiful apartment and an even beautiful couple. We had a great time at the Aspen Cottage and the hospitality was way better than most of the hotels out there. Already planning my next stay with them!

Guys this place is an ideal for those who want a homely touch and gorgeous view. The hosts will take care of your each and every need, will guide you through your tour. The local market is easily accessible from the cottage and it is extremely neat and hygienic. Amrita aunty prepares really delicious meals and she serves it with extreme love. Once you stay here you will feel like coming again. So go for it without any doubt .

Raj Sir & Amrita Mam were gracious hosts and even better human beings . We stayed there for 2 days and believe me when I say this, I already am looking forward to visit them again. They helped us with everything, starting from the places to visit, recommended eateries. Saumia, their daughter is amazing as well. Lovely place, even better people. Uncle, aunty and the entire family were warm and welcoming, and very helpful with everything we needed. The location is perfect too - a little away from the busy lake-road and yet very accessible, and just about a 30-minute walk from the snow peak view. Highly recommend!

It was our first visit to Nainital and I must say that it would not have been a memorable one if we had not met Amita Aunty, Uncle Raj and Saumia! Our stay had a homely touch and we could not have asked for more! We would surely recommend this place if you are in Nainital. 👍🏻 5/5 ⭐

Raj, Amita and Soumya were great hosts. We travelled with our 8 month old baby and they took care of all the needs which made our stay comfortable and memorable one. This cottage is located well above the mall road and provides a scenic view of Lake. Room was very clean and we had good facilities like room heater and heated blankets. Thank you so much , We had a very good time and would definitely like to visit again.

Our stay with Rohan was one of the best experiences we had.. we were a group of 5 (2 couples and a friend) who had booked for 3 days. Just when we were about to reach.. it snowed and all roads started getting blocked.. we got stuck about 300 mtrs from his place at 9 at night with freezing temperatures.. Rohan carried umbrellas and sticky notes to put on the car and ensured we reached home all dry and safe. We hadn't booked any dinner but Achala (his wife and a wonderful cook) treated us with some amazing maggi and bread omlette.. should definitely go trekking with him.. 1. he motivated us all.. 2. He is an amazing photographer.. 3. He carried his drone along. Can't thank you enough for the video and memories captured for a lifetime. It's uploaded on his insta page.. nainitrails for all to see! Also the honey is a must have.. all in all.. most recommended stay in Nainital..don't miss this!

We had a very nice stayed and felt safe when we stayed in Rohan's place. He was at the house to welcome us and recommended us the best restaurant in Nainital. The location is amazing. We were enjoying walking from the house to the lake which take only 10 mins. The lake is very beautiful and the city is very cute. We really enjoyed the food and shopping here a lot. Rohan’s place was perfect for our travel to Nainital. The rooms are cozy and clean and located not too far away from the mall road. There is even a shortcut to the main bazar, if you like to walk (unfortunately we were not able to take this path because of icy condition). Campfire arranged by Rohan was the highlight of our trip to nainital. If you stay here, this is a must do.

They made us feel like part of their family. It really felt like we were visiting a friend or relative's place for vacation. Food was amazing. Great dinner conversations & good company in general. We definitely recommend to anyone visiting Nainital.

Amazing host and amazing hospitality. Rohan's a very kind and humble guy who's always ready to help. One of us came down with an upset stomach and Rohan's wife Achala was so kind to prepare khichdi on last minute's notice. We had a fun session of archery with him. We had gone to Nainital as we wanted to have a peaceful and chilly new year and oh, it was cold. We couldn't have made a better choice of stay ! Firstly, this property is nothing short of BEAUTIFUL. It's picturesque, well kept and perfectly located ! The nicest thing is that the place is exactly how he has described it. Secondly, It's the perfect spot for both romantic and family getaway. It has all the required amenities like heater, geyser and warm cozy blankets :) They keep the rooms very clean and tidy. Also provide all the toiletries and small perks like like coffee, tea packs and kettle. They also provide bon fire on request. The hosts are lovely and cooperative. They are available to help you, interact with you anytime but also respect your privacy. Rohan took us for treks on request, told us about the place history and what not! He is real fun to hang out with (we also love him cz he clicked very nice pics of us) He helped us chalk out our days so that we make the most of trip. Introduced us to his mom's yummy honey, we took 2 bottles home :) Achala has magic hands ! We enjoyed every authentic kumauni meal she prepared. Left us licking our fingers, craving for more. Gargi and her smile used to bring a smile on our faces, still does! We celebrated new year with them and it was our best one yet. We felt like we were home❤️ This is a lovely family, they are very welcoming and this is an amazing property. It was a fabulous experience. We definitely wish to come back here soon :)

This place as been amazing for me. My favorite stay during my whole trip in India. Uncle and Auntie are simply amazing people. They have all the qualities I think of when I envision Indian hospitality. Aunties home cooked meals are delicious. Both Uncle and Auntie gave me great direction for my time here, I didn’t even have to do any research. They gave me great ideas everyday and are always available if you need anything. My favorite part about this place is the stunning view and a great location. Also, the best sleep I’ve gotten in India. This will be my go to spot while in Nainital and can’t what to come back. We visited the place in Jan and were overwhelmed right from the first look of the place. Though it is an uphill trek but the place is definitely worth it & Prashant arranges porters in case you have too much luggage! Prashant & Manju aunty were great hosts! Nanital is beautiful and it's beauty is best seen from Prashant's place and through Manju aunty's organic yummy food! Would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a quiet & beautiful stay overlooking the stunning view of Nanital Lake. We had a great time here :)

I must say one word for Mr Achlesh place is HEAVEN .EXCELLENT. EXCEPTIONAL. SUPER CLEAN .BEST HOSPITALITY.WELL MAINTAINED.Never thought of such a lovely place could exist in just inside naintal city and that too without any city hustle bustle. Peace with homely feel and luxury facilities. Good food.lots of open space .not like small crampy hotels or other space In city .view of city is amazing. Only property in nainital that offers bonfire and barbeque. Value for money, clean room, you have to climb 150 steps to reach which are steep,super host quick response and accommodating.caretaker has good behaviour and helpful.

If only the number of stairs can be ignored, the place provides an amazing view of the Naini Lake and gives a homely feeling. The host is quick to respond and also accommodated our early check in. The host, Deepak ensured our comfort and was available all the times. We are happy to have chosen this space.

A great place to stay with friends or family. A bit away from the Mall Road and all the hustle and bustle. Balcony is the best spot in the house to relax and chill. I would recommend this place and remember to fetch some eatables as there are no shops around.

Nice Location,Wonderful Interior...Much Better from Hotel

The place is exactly what it looks like in the photos. The balcony will probably be the best part of your stay, followed by the cosiness that you'll feel. The place is quiet and comfortable. The amenities are great. You don't get much internet here and it actually helps enjoy your vacation more. For reaching here, you will have to take a taxi. Going down to mall road can be done on foot though.

One of the best place to stay if you love to enjoy the mountain vibes away from chaos that too within a km away. The place is just too perfect. The lights and the interiors are taken care in absolutely brilliant way. The best part is the balcony for portrait photos; also you get the lake view as well(partially). Ravi, the host, is a great person and that makes it more exiting to stay. PS: If you are a good driver, you can park your vehicle easily. I parked my Honda City. Enjoy.

Beautifully done place with some mesmerizing views

We had a very pleasant time at Paradise home stay. Mr. Khan picked us up from the bus stand to ensure we reach their place comfortably. The place is away from the crowd of the main town and has a wonderful view from the balcony. The food served to us was simple yet delicious. Both Mr. and Mrs. Khan were warm and courteous towards us and made sure our stay was hassle free. They are a wonderful host.

We stayed at Paradise homestay before starting our riding trip. Great hospitality and wonderful experience. Host will ensure your stay is much comfortable than your expectations, and will be always available and ready to accommodate your requests. He also helped us with some local contacts for bike rental and other local information.The biggest advantage is it's just 5 minutes walk from main Nainital lake. Highly recommend this place for everyone looking for a home away from home for your vacation.

This is one of the best places I have stayed in recent times. The location is ideal, amidst the lap of nature, a perfect place for bird watching and experiencing peace. The place is very clean and uncle and aunty are perfect hosts who treated me as one of their own. What makes it a perfect homestay is, it's actually a homestay where you stay as their house guest and not just a tourist. Absolutely adorable dog, Peggy will greet you with a wagging tail ❤️. What's a homestay if there is not a tail or two around? Loved my stay and I wish I had more time to spend :) P.S. Aunty cooks Amazon Kumaoni food which you must not miss during your stay here.

The place is just like how its described in the profile. Good home cooked vegetarian meals was given. Host was really helpful with everything. Mere pictures don't do justice to the actual scenery of the place. Morning and evening walks from the house is advisable as the scenery is amazing. The slow pace of the village is a humbling experience. If you're traveling alone its better to hire two wheeler for the commute since there aren't much transportation available from the house itself but from main road there are buses and jeeps available. All in all valuable experience, must visit.

This listing is truly a stairway to heaven; it was perfect for our weekend getaway. The apartment was clean, spacious, well equipped, and conveniently located to major attractions. Easy check-in process with the caretaker, Rajesh. Also, attentive communication with the hosts throughout our stay. The house has been newly done and is at quiet place, a little away from the mall Road. Initially we though that this would be a difficulty, but believe me its a blessing. Nainital Mall Road is a chaos to stay in. The owners are super cool and very friendly. The were in regular touch with us right from check in till check out, so was the caretaker Mr. Rajesh. We had been provided with all the necessary things, every little thing was taken care off, right from slippers to body wash, complimentary fruits etc. The place is definitely recommended.

Very nice, big and modern flat. Equipped with everything you need. The people running the place are very friendly, helpful and easy to reach. They helped us with every request and tried to make us feel as comfty as possible. It was a bit humid because of the season. But despite that we had a great time. I recommend it!

The overall experience was great , excellent food and hospitality offers by the caretakers. Property and place was mesmerising, however lack of information and clarity at the time of booking left a bitter taste as I ended up booking extra room for no reason. When I started booking on Airbnb’s app , while entering details of guest which was 4 adults and 2 children ( 5&6 yrs ) it suggested to book the Shikra room which was a larger room as it would have one double bed and two single mattresses put together on the floor and total cost would be approx 10 K. After the booking was confirmed and payment done , We were later told by the Vista representative that we’ll not be allowed to accommodate all in that room for reason which was not logical. As they expected that additional room to be booked for the 2 kids sleeping separately and were forced to book another room and paid additional 5K to total cost going to 15 K which was unnecessary.. instead I could have rather booked two separate rooms for 5 K each and still had 2 adults + 1 kid in each room ..costing us only 10 K ...contrary to their logic in the additional room that we booked it was ok to accommodate 2 adults and 1 kid on a double bed , while same was not allowed in the larger room which had a one double bed and two single mattress on the floor making 1 additional double bed space. It was very unprofessional and lack of advisory on part of your team and Airbnb , not understanding the need of customer and advising right. I am sorry , but it was a bad customer experience where we feel cheated for our money. Thanks Ankur

A place to rejuvenate! One could choose to go to a touristy place or choose a place that could be breathtaking like Fagunia. Host & Staff is amazing and prompt, it is well equipped especially for a place that has no resources A beautiful trail to see the waterfall and birdwatch ! A place i would go every year!

Alright so first things first, DO NOT NAVIGATE to this place or you will get horribly lost. The hosts will send you a visual map after booking, follow that to reach the spot. Otherwise ask around like the good old days and you'll reach there just fine, give google maps a rest for this one. The last few miles are truly treacherous and the drive will give you a massive adrenaline high and the climb down from the parking spot to the villa is a mild trek in itself. After all this hard work, once you reach fagunia it's the exact opposite. It's calm, quiet, peaceful, serene, picturesque. It's everything you want from your weekend getaway away from your city life and then some. The hosts are wonderful, the caretakers prepare excellent food. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Kamal's place is truly gem. We've enjoyed our stayed very much. Kamal and his helper are so kind and warm in heart. He gave us the ride from Kathgodam to his place. He also gave us welcome drinks, a gift and some food to eat because we've arrived when it was raining very heard and found us the solution to travel around. His helper made a local breakfast which was very yummy. It was a good moments and memories for us. We will definitely come back again.

Awesome host. Unmatchable Hospitality. Great Amenities. We stayed at Kamal's place for a weekend. Located in Bhowali, a nice place off the commercially buzzed Nainital. The place is really clean, comfortable. And well equipped for someone who is not used cold weather there. Flawless communication from Kamal at all times be it phone or Airbnb messages. The omnibus we took from Delhi dropped us at Kathgodam. It's an hour drive to Nainital and there are cabs to take from Kathgodam. But kamal picked us from there and took us to the property. He didn't have to do that. But he did. He even helped us around the main market area to get some essential wears to bear the local weather. Kamal, a warm and kind-hearted person gave us great advice about sightseeing and he took us to a few places as well. He helped us in getting all the transport needs and foods sorted out. And you have all the help you need when you have it. Overall we were very welcomed there, and I suggest you have no second thoughts while you're considering this property. We will most definitely return to this beautiful place whenever we are back in Nainital.

The cottage was the best part of our entire trip. Everything was clean and amazing, especially the location. Very secluded, peaceful and safe. If you want to get away from the hustle of the city, this is the place to be. The caretaker, Manoj, was very respectful, polite and helpful. He made sure that we always had everything we needed and he even arranged a driver for us to go sight-seeing who was also very friendly and knew his surroundings well. The owner, Kamal, gave us a parting gift which was a very sweet and touching gesture. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and wished it hadn't come to an end.

The property is locate far from the hustle bustle of the Mall Road and has a great panoramic view of the lake from both bedrooms as well as attached balcony. It is well maintained and we found it sparkling clean on arrival. The value for money is exceptional as you will find all the basic amenities - linens, toiletries, running hot water and a fully equipped kitchen with basic grocery as utilities to fix a quick meal. Caretaker Pushpa Ji is very helpful and cook delicious complimentary breakfast for us every morning. She can cook lunch and dinner too for a charge. She also provided some tips about sightseeing in Nainital. I am happy that we have found a second home in Nainital.

We usually avoid crowded tourist destinations but we made an exception for Nainital and we are glad we did. Apart from the expected inconveniences of a crowded tourist place, we loved this beautiful house on the mountain. I must say the highlight of the whole stay was the care take Ms. Pushpa. She really takes care of the house as her own and treats every guest as her own. 5 sparkling stars for her.

This is an awesome property. View of Naini lake from window is beautiful. Fully operational kitchen and cook is there during the day time, she charges Rs.100/head + Kitchen charged Rs. 300/day+veg extra for the day, which covers 3 meals. Guard Raju is there but not exactly outside the door of this property. Pros: 1. Awesome View from both the bedroom windows 2. Balcony facing Naini Lake 3. Fully furnished property 4. Cook/Caretaker is cooperative 5. Neighbouting locality is good Cons: 1. Steep road to reach here from mall road 2. Going by walk to this property would be tiring 3. Monkeys are nearby on trees 4. Parking is available but on road You have to say welcome hotel as landmark to reach here Rest, stay would be a good experience

About the Cottage : This is a 2BHK, well furnished apartment with amazing lake view and all amenities. The apartment has one common and one attached toilet, a well lit kitchen with big glass window, attached balcony with lake view, good privacy, music system, cutlery, heaters, basically all amenities you need in a house. This is the perfect stay for families and kids. Those who wish to relax and have good times at Nainital. About location: The apartment is located at some 800 meter from mall road. It's a steep climb if you are walking. It is again some 100 meter walk or 50 off stairs from the road. The place is not suitable for elderly if they have issue in walking or stairs claiming. The cab charges 200 rs from mall road to drop at old groove / Cement house, from there it's 2-3 min walk. There is a kirana shop just on the road to get basics such as bread, milk etc. The path to cottage is not well lit hence you need to have lights on while returning at night. The Cook & Kitchen : The cottage has one caretaker, one cleaner and one cook (Pushpa ji). They charge 300/- for usage of kitchen with basic indigents + 100 per person for preparation of food. Which is pretty reasonable. We stayed for 4 days and paid additional 2000 for 4 persons. We travelled with 2 toddlers so the kitchen and cook made perfect sense. Pushpa ji makes poha / paratha for breakfast and dal/ Bhindi / alu for lunch. She can also make suji halwa on request :) The cleaner would come daily and clean thoroughly. They would do the dishes etc. They cottage also has washing machine and place to dry cloths. They caretaker Raju would bring groceries etc if request. Owner:- the owner Gyanesh lives in Dubai and available on WhatsApp. He asked multiple times for any assistance but we did not requiered any :) Pros:- 1. Amazing view, peaceful, privacy 2. Amenities 3. Kitchen & Cook 4. Balcony Cons:- 1. Pathway to cottage (for elderly and kids) 2. Little up from mall road, but view makes it worth. 3. Monkeys so close the door while leaving and do not leave edibles in balcony

This being my first booking with air bnb I was very scared as to how secure this wud be and how trustworthy as I was travelling with family and had a small kid with us But Gyanesh being miles away from here wud also approachable and helped us with all things that one wud require Beautifully maintained property and Pushpa di was very nice and humble Now I can say I wud visit Nainital Just to stay there in peace Beautiful view

Gyanesh its an awesome property which can make the guest fall in love all over again , what a food cooked by Pushpa Ji and so many praises about u by her goes to show u r one great host. The care taker Raju was great and very helpful yet being polite. I am in love with the property absolutely no questions of it being worth or not.... The view of this place is amazing , The food , hospitality , home, interior, space, comfort is good. The owner is responsive to queries and caretaker is a great people person and helpful in all situations. good food and helped a lot.

Place is nice but there is steep climb for 300 meters. Small taxi cars can go but no big car can climb. I had to come back half way. Taxi is not easily available during night. I was travelling with kid one year. Had to cancel. Thanks to the host they returned the entire amount...

This home is in a wonderful location, very close to the lakeside markets and Mall road (where you will find most restaurants). Considering how mountainous the area is, the home is in a great location and is only a short walk up the hill, which was great to walk off all the delicious food. The hosts were lovely, welcoming, and gave us our privacy. Also, they have gorgeous dogs! There were some power issues, however that was city wide, and just something to keep in mind when travelling the area. We hope to return to Nainital again, and would definitely recommend our friends and family to stay here too!

This is awesome place to stay. Pros Very spacious, neat and well maintained space you will fall in love with. Everything in house is done in good taste. It has TV with all channels, water heater, two big beds, dining space, sofa, bean bag, kitchen .... Located close to market (5 min walk to Naini temple), yet you are little away from market noises. Uncle and aunty live in ground floor are friendly, provided us tasty homemade breakfast and our delight to chat. Cons Not any, only con is house is about 100m walk uphill on a small street from main road, on which only local drivers can drive. Only time this will affect you is when you are taking luggage to the house, for us uncle sent a help who carried our luggage, otherwise you can take any taxi available or can carry it yourself which is very doable. I will not recommend it if you are planning to do late night parties as it will disturb uncle and aunty living downstairs.

We are four graduates from the UK who have been working Delhi, this was the perfect get-away. We were greeted on arrival by Mr Anil and his wife who instantly made us feel at home and safe. They offered us breakfast, which was lovely! Mr Anil's Dosa was beautiful and Mrs Anil's upma was delicious. Each morning before we set off we had a lovely conversation with them, and if you're lucky you will see a black money & white monkey playing with each other (very rare) by their window. The reviews for this are just as described, a lovely welcoming home with comfortable beds and easy access to the town. We walked everywhere as its very easy to walk around, however if you do have weaker legs you are able to get a taxi up to the house - but its only a 5 min walk up hill! Thank you again, and Sonam's response time is very quick!

Saumya's place is located in a quiet and nice society in Bhowali. The apartment was pretty clean and had all basic amenities as mentioned and also had sufficient heating. The caretaker Vicky was extremely helpful with respect to food delivery, finding local cabs at reasonable rates and for any other guide to Nainital. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Instead of staying at a hotel, we opted for a cottage in Nainital, and this was the best decision ever.location is a beauty in itself. It's like we had everything we needed, in this place. Staff is so friendly, and will even suggest you what to visit and what not to do. Away from the hustle bustle of the city, this is just what we both needed. This is a treasure hidden in the much commercialized Nainital. A gem that is a perfect getaway for people looking for an offbeat place close to Delhi. The views are mesmerizing. The property sits right in the valley, surrounded by scenic mountains and forests on all sides. No sounds of vehicles, just chirping birds and hundreds of parrots flocking together. The room we got initially was much smaller than expectation but then the owners were kind enough to upgrade it, when they had no other bookings. We thank the owners and managers for their gesture. The Barbet and Shikhar suites are amazing! I specially liked the attic in the Barbet Suite, and the cozy balcony attached to it. Spend time listening to music, reading a book, or just laying in their sunny garden for hours at stretch. To top it all, caretaker Pushkar is a great guy and a fine cook. He made delectable dishes, and concluded with a chocolate pancake in breakfast, which was based on the recipe of Radhika Aggarwal, a Masterchef winner. We also went out for trek in the khet, circling the property through the dense mountain forests, and collected pine cones. Would cherish these memories for a long time. Those looking to book this property, don't think twice. Just book it!

Fagunia is a dream destination for people wanting to just zoom out of city life and experience peace. There are long walks near the house. We just roamed around the village, interacting with the villagers and chilling in fields and that was better than any viewpoint. People behind fagunia have poured everything into it and it shows.

Pangot turned out to be a surprise hidden away in he vicinity of the overcrowded Nainital. We drove from Delhi and though it took us a while to get there (about 10 hours thanks to the diversions), it was well worth the wait. The Acorn Cottages remains to date the best property we have stayed at. Simple yet grand in its own way. The minimalistic wooden interiors, a small sit out with a breathtaking view and the absence of locker onroom is all that one desires! The staff is the highlight besides the lip smacking homely food! You can call out from your balcony or go cafeteria to request for whatever it is that you need. There are a couple of small eateries around the property serving momos, chai,maggi etc.; and a regular cafeteria as well. The Kilbury bird sanctuary is a small drive away and we managed to see and photograph quite a few birds. In the evenings one can just head out for a walk around the property. The location is just perfect!

Pangot was a complete surprise for me! This little village of Nanital district in Uttrakhand has every thing you need for a perfect get away…. Misty skies, dense green foliage, chirping birds & butterflies; can it get any better? Yes!! Tucked between the verdure is The Acorn cottage a comfy place fused beautifully with the surroundings. Charming wooden cottages spread at different levels of the hill provide a fantastic view from every window, a refreshing change from the concrete jungle I come from. The interiors are well thought & basic with a touch of modern. All the cottages have cozy sit outs and some have lovely little attics that have been converted into extra sleeping or seating areas. The place is decently lit but do take a torch with you, it’ll make your life easier. To top it all… food is honest-to-goodness! Our package included all three meals comprising a choice of non-veg and veg The staff is diligent and well taught. A tiny bit slow but they surely make up for it with yummylicious flavors & attention to detail. Harsh Chhabra the owners of Acorn cottage are true nature junkies and that reflects in every nook & corner of the property. If you happen to meet him… hear the stories of how it all started… It’ll leave you inspired and in awe. The place has more to offer than just romancing the nature. Lodge is fully equipped to support treacherous treks to lazy bird watching mornings. If you are into neither, like me, then just pickup an umbrella and head out for a walk but make sure to wear right shoes to avoid leeches, as it’s the rainy season. Pangot is my “Chota patakha with bada Dhamaka!!!!”(small bomb with big boom) and Acorn cottage is where it all happened ;)

I had an amazing stay at the villa! The location is really good and i had no problem reaching there. Hospitality and food were outstanding. I would encourage anyone looking to stay in bhimtal to visit this place!

We had a great time at this place. It's really beautiful . I came with my husband and our parents. We booked the whole place. My parents really enjoyed it. Location and the house is definitely 5 stars. The fun care taker was the icing on the cake. He made amazing food. We over ate, it was that good. The host is very friendly and made sure that everything was going right. He helped us out by giving us local guidance as well. All in all a great place to stay! Well definitely visit there again.

The place will make you feel like home. Amazing place to stay and enjoy the aerial view of nainital, provided you can walk the steep hill upto the homestay (approx 350 mtrs), as taxis can't drop you after the landmark. Food cooked at homestay is also healthy and tasty, so you won't feel like out of home. Amazing experience!

The place is located little uphill from main market. Little difficult for people to climb. You can take a taxi which might charge from 100-200 not more than that. The rooms are cosy n beautifully decorated. The stay has best view of nainital n Talital. U can also experience snowfall in winters. Place is very near to snow view point n zoo. You can have delicious home cooked food at extra charges. Food is self cooked by Manju Aunty. Rest place is lil far from main market. It's best option if u wanna experience off beat location n enjoy me time. Hospitality n warm welcome is the USP. Thumbs up for location n stay.

Great place to forgot all stressed life

I had planned a trip to Nainital with my parents to enjoy the cool weather. After days of search, I narrowed our visit to Prashant's homestay, which turned out to be better than I hoped for. It's a perfect little abode for families looking to spend time away from the city hustle. The view of the entire Naini lake from their garden is something out of a dream. Our hosts took great care of us. We enjoyed aunty's Kumaon dishes to our heart's content and penned down plenty of cooking tips from her. We enjoyed the mornings with tea and a casual stroll across the beautiful garden while basking under with sun. I enjoyed my hobby as a photographer and this homestay was the perfect place to start. There is a little uphill walk to their place but our hosts made it comfortable by providing us with a helping hand who carried our luggage. Our trip to Nainital was a memorable experience, and our hosts made it even better. We look forward to visiting them again.

I , Malavika and my 4 years old son, Akshar were travelling. Things in my wish list were a very safe, clean and comfortable property, great homemade food and some respite from the intense heat and madess of Gurgaon. All my wishes came true.The warmth with which the hosts welcomed us, the amazing view of the lake from the property, the beautiful property itself, Aunty's amazing hospitality, and cooking, all these made our stay memorable. Rain was the icing on the cake. Prem is a magic boy. He serves you with a great energy and a smiling face. Also had a great time chatting with Prashant & Ragini. I felt like I am visiting one of my very close relatives. I am definitely going to be back soon. Highly recommended..

It was awesome to stay at Shabana Mam's place.. though the place was walking distance from the taxi stand uncle came to pick us. The view from the balcony is just woww. The breakfast and morning tea was just very perfect to start the day and pleasant weather of Nainital. The Eid special seviyan was an extra icing in the breakfast.. loved the stay at your place and hoping to stay again..

Nice view, helpful hosts

This place is in a beautiful location. Even the local cab drivers do not know of this hidden gem. It's like what you would imaginer in a 1980s Hindi movie village setting in the hills where you get to meet honest people, where you meet kids who walk 3 Kms one way on a hilly path to go to school, where farming is the main profession, where people do not sound greedy, there is fresh air and a lot of silence. This was my first air bnb experience so I was a little worried about everything.. it took me 2 days to go thru all the properties around ..trust me this place is the best if you are travelling to Nainital or around ...home away from home .. interiors are very tastefully done..Caretaker Maya is a great cook and takes care of anything else u need while ur stay . Mr kapoor is a great host and also very helpful.

This place is amazing. The location, the food, and the caretakers, everything was more than I expected. You'll fall in love with the picturesque views. They've a policy that you can't play music after 10. I'll suggest that don't play music at all. This place is so peaceful and calm. There's a waterfall nearby, a perfect place to meditate. They serve you both English and Pahari cuisine. Tips: 1. Don't forget to carry mosquito spray. 2. Carry your headphones/earphones if you can't stay without your music. 3. Don't litter around. Carry a plastic/cloth bag with you for wrapper, cigarette butts, etc.

This property has a very good location, which offers the calmness, good scenic view. Property is brilliantly built considering the ECO system, making an artistic use of recyclable material. Birds will be your entertainer through out the days, which will make you forget all your stress. You can also enjoy the star gazing. Food served was homely & delicious. Pushkar has been good host. Definitely worth visiting. We also enjoyed the untarred road leading to property.

The place is surreal and the view is beyond imagination beautiful. All the things at this place is amazing except the pillows, they are a bit hard and small which can cause neck pains. The staff is great and quick in responding. Kamal himself is an amazing host. I would also like to add that please take more care of the plants and infact plant more to increase the beauty of the place. I would rate this place as 1000 on 100.
