250m from the boisterous square, walking 7 minutes through the myth of Pelion and the history of Byzantine Makrinitsa, you arrive at the serenity of a genuine authentic place with magnificent view. Our grand father's stone house lays there. In 2022 we renovated it with respect to its traditional style, into a spacious idyllic guesthouse for 2+1 people, fully adapted to the traditional community of Makrinitsa, and yet providing modern amenities. A guest house ideal for the walkers. Discover it!

Mountain cottage overlooking the sea

On the lushly green Mount Pelion, in an authentic village, our house combines access to the sea (10 km) and ski resort area (7 kms). It can serve as a base for walking or driving to the many pictureque villages and beaches of this mountain. The house includes a garden with shady trees, also cherries and apricots in their season, and is only two minutes away from a mini market, restaurant, pharmacie and the wonderful square. Fully equipped and provided with maps and books about the region.

The home of Centaurs

The house stands in the historic village of Portaria Pelion and it is about 500 m. from the central square. It's altitude is 630m., and has a spectacular view to Pagasitikos and the town of Volos. You can enjoy this view not only from the balcony but also inside the house. Furthermore the Ski Centre of Pelion is only 14km. far and the city of Volos 12km. Last but not least the beautiful beaches of Pelion are located in 31km. from Portaria.

Makrinitsa Alonia

In the traditional village of Makrinitsa, going uphill and walking 200m of paved road, you will find yourself in the fountain of Tsoni. Next to it is the fully renovated stone house that is ideal for spending moments of tranquility and relaxation while gazing at the panoramic view that is generously offered to you. A simple, austere space, as befits a village in Pelion.

My place is close to great views, beach, restaurants and dining, and art and culture. Reasons you'll love my space: the view, the location, the people, the environment and the outdoors. My place is suitable for couples, single person activities, business travelers.As for pets only small you are not allowed to leave them alone at home and charge 10€ per day.

Το διαμέρισμα μας είναι ένας ζεστός και φιλόξενος χώρο για αυτούς που θέλουν να ανακαλύψουν τη φυσική ομορφιά του βουνού, σε απόσταση αναπνοής από την πόλη του Βόλου. Η τοποθεσία είναι ιδανική, στα καλντερίμια της Πορταριάς, και το σπίτι μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει μέχρι 5 άτομα.

The chalet was built in 1928 with local stone from Pelion and has a special architectural design and was recently completely renovated (2016). The view is impressive and the interior of the house boasts the romance of another era with all modern-day comforts. The property has two floors and a garden (1000 sqm).

105 sq.m. loft in a fully renovated traditional house in Portaria, with modern amenities, gardens, exquisite views and unforgettable sunsets. Stone built in 1860, it was one of the first houses in the village. Designed by an acclaimed architect, the interior features unique antique furniture.
