  • Great price. Not fancy but met our needs. Close to the highway but we did not notice any traffic noise. Internet worked great. Beds were comfortable. Felt safe. I would stay here again.

  • TL:DR I would go out of my way to stay at this cozy place over fancier Airbnbs. I loved this place! Tried it out for almost a week on a Christmas road trip. I love the layout of the "guest suite" (it's almost entirely cut off from the rest of the house for great privacy) and feels like a cabin. There's a little kitchen with a useful kitchen island, couch, extra single bed, desk area, queen bed, and bathroom. All we needed was within reach and well organized. The hot water was fabulous. Laura, the host, was AMAZING! I miscalculated the days we needed to spend there and she let us stay extra time to get things packed, etc. She was never upset and would've extended our stay if she didn't have another Airbnber coming in that evening. Laura was incredibly kind about it all, and we were so appreciative.

  • Mary Ann's place was the perfect place to spend the night before heading into Mark Twain National Forest. If you haven't checked out the mills in the area you're in for a treat. Beautiful scenery and fall is the perfect time to go into the forest. Mary Ann's place was spotlessly clean, decorated cute and warm and welcoming. The beds were all comfortable. We had 3 couples and all enjoyed our stay. Bigo's is a great Mexican restuarant....just a few blocks away and reasonably priced. We will book this place again when in the area!

  • Fabulous time in the country with all the comforts you would ever need or want. The attention to detail was awesome and the glamping experience provided a very unique alternative to everyday lodging! The hosts were very welcoming and provided great information about the area.

  • If you are looking for a charming place to stay with breathtaking views of Missouri, this is your spot. My daughter and I spent one night on our travels from Texas to Indiana and we only wished we could stay longer and take a longer hike thru Missouri country. Truly a hidden gem. The trailer is very private with all the things you need for a perfect ‘camp’ spot - outdoor patio, fire pit, hammock- tastefully decorated. Mary Ann greeted us and gave us the background of the surrounding area and was quick to respond to my last min request. Do yourself a favor and decompress from your travels in this beautiful, quaint location. We look forward to a return.

    Lindsey2019-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Mary Ann's glamper was exactly what we needed and we hope to go back for sure. We only stayed one night while on a cross country journey and we definitely wished we had a day or two in Salem once we got there! Mary Ann and Jim were super friendly and we loved petting their puppies, especially being away from our own furbabies for a week! I really appreciated the outdoor space Mary Ann setup and the stylish touches inside the glamper. We enjoyed dinner at a nearby Mexican restaurant, watched a movie from the DVD collection provided, and had a restful nights sleep (including one adult on the couch who said it was comfortable) before our journey. Thanks again Mary Ann!!

  • If you're looking for an amazing amazing secluded getaway in the middle of the State Forest surrounded by beautiful trees and to stay parks within 5 MI? Then this is the place for you. The cabin is very quaint and cozy, the beat part for me was the night sky and all the firewood I needed.

    Jacob2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful cabin in the woods! We had an authentic camping experience with wonderful hosts who gave us local tips, hot coffee each morning, and let us play with their dog, and feed their pig and chickens. Everything was clean and cozy, and despite having no running water, our hosts provided us with several gallons of drinking water to use however we wanted. We loved our stay and would even come back again in the summer months to experience the forest in all of its greenery. Five star experience! Thank you so much!! 😊

    Lyudmila2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This lovely cabin is the perfect base camp to enjoy the Ozark riverways. It's close to many beautiful sites and has a ton of great touches. Make sure you pay close attention to the host's detailed directions to find your way-the name matches the location. The space itself is stocked with all the necessities (kitchen utensils, basics for cooking, etc.) and is very comfortable. A wonderful place to unplug. The farm critters are very nice, too!

    James2019-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • Cabin is amazing, getting there is already an experience, drving through the woods is great. Marie and her husband are great host, coffee every morning, can't beat that in the middle of the woods. If you are down to experience the backwoods life with some amenities this is the place for you. We love our stay here.

    Aaron2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny house was the perfect amount of luxury while still having primitive features. Don’t be discouraged by the composting toilet, it is much more similar to a conventional toilet than a latrine. The mountains are a beautiful site during the day, and if you’re lucky a full moon will light up the land at night! Everything we needed was provided and the hosts were great.

    Jennie2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great central location for everything we wanted to do. https://bigfamilysimplelife.com/2019/11/03/anniversary-in-the-ozarks/

  • If you're looking for a remote experience: this is it! It truly is awayz back. There may be difficulty in ice/rain getting up the driveway if you don't have 4 wheel drive. I loved every second of my stay and the hosts really do let you do your own thing. Theres a BIG puppy on the property who is a sweet boy and is learning manners. He is very well behaved and just wants some pets and to sniff ya. Don't hesitate on this one!

Fully stocked kitchen provides everything from coffee to having the needed items to cook full meals at your disposal. Games and added touches made our stay great along with extra information provided for places to eat and things to do. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Stephanie’s place is great. The charm, location, and privacy. The large gathering room is my favorite we can play card at one end of the table and have room to put a puzzle together on the other end. Since it’s a working farm someone is usually there in the morning and evening if you need help. This is a great place to stay!!! Sincerely,Linda Konkel

Pine Valley is located in the heart of the Mark Twain National Forest. It is set on 43 acres of beautiful green pasture and woodland. On a New Moon night the Milky Way is a vivid sight. Our farm is a spectacular viewing area for meteor showers. Here are just a few more things in close proximity: Dillard Mill A red mill set on the blue waters of Huzzah Creek is as pretty a picture as there is in Missouri, and that’s the setting for Dillard Mill State Historic Site. Viburnum Country Club Located just north of Viburnum, Viburnum Golf and Country Club is one of the Missouri golf community's true hidden gems. The unique scenery helps new players relax as they enjoy learning the game, while the multiple tee lengths creates an experience that will test even the most experienced players. Red Moose Vineyard Red Moose Vineyard is a family-owned vineyard, conceived upon the belief that with consistent hard work and attention to quality on a plant-by-plant and bottle-by-bottle basis, great tasting wines can be crafted and shared. It offers great wine, enticing views and a scenic, serene spring. Viburnum Trend Riding Area The Midwest Trail Rider’s Association offers trail riding for OHV vehicles in the area. Located in Bixby, MO, the VTRA facility is open the 3rd weekend of every month from March thru October. Huzzah Creek This clearwater gem is a tributary to the Meramec River. The angler will find the Huzzah a pleasant and profitable floating-wading stream. Nearest floating outfitter is a 45 minute drive. Or just take the half-mile trail at the entrance of Pine Valley to reach the Huzzah for swimming and fishing. Mark Twain National Forest Pine Valley is nearly surrounded by The Mark Twain National Forest and has a wide range of popular recreation opportunities. The forest has over 750 miles of trails for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and motorized use. The trails vary in length and difficulty.
  • There's great hiking nearby, but the cottage is also extremely cozy and has a bunch of books and movies in case the weather's bad. Jay was always very kind and responsive. I wish we could've stayed longer than a weekend!

    Lauren2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing. The cottage was clean, cozy, and fully stocked with everything we needed during our stay. Jay was friendly, helpful, and extremely hospitable. Dillard Mill is a beautiful site and just a short 10 minute walk from the cabin, providing a nice day's hiking and sightseeing in the forest. I can't recommended this place more strongly!

    Myles2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Super clean, very cute cottage. We didn't get to interact with anyone in person, but written communication beforehand gave us everything we needed to know and more. Would highly recommend walking to the mill and the river, and there were thoughtful things indoors too - puzzles, cards, movies, and a bed/towel set aside specifically for the dog. She LOVED being a country pup for a few days. Thanks again!

    Taylor2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • The Cozy Cabin was amazing. We took a quick walk to the Dillard Mill (only about 6 minutes away) and it was absolutely beautiful. The cabin is located on a beautiful property with the occasional wildlife sighting. I would love to come back and stay again.

    Clara2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts! Attentive & quick to respond. The cottage was cute & clean & had everything I needed plus more. The private trails were great fun to explore. It was a 10 minute walk to Dillard Mill. I look forward to returning soon!

    Jessie2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place to get away for a couple days. Had WiFi the entire time in the premises but definitely tried to avoid it. Trails are fun and the dog was in the dog bed the whole time in the house. Great kitchen to cook in with all the necessary tools we needed including a steamer for our veggies. Fun place. We would definitely come back!

    Ryan & Amanda2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • This trio was responsive and courteous and the place was exactly as described. I arrived at night so they left some property lights on and the fire pit was ready to go for when I finally made it. The bed was a little stiff for me but I'm a softie with my mattresses. In the end, it was no big deal. The place was clean and because I was there in late-Fall, Early Winter I had the property to myself in the evenings and nights which allowed a quiet and calm atmosphere to enjoy with the passing deer. Would absolutely come back during the summer.

    Chelsea2019-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Visited for a quick Thanksgiving getaway with my husband and pup. Everything is exactly as described and pictured. The property is beautiful (even during the dreary winter), and we took full advantage of the nearby hiking trails. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating. Since you're off the beaten path a bit, it's nice to have a full kitchen (we stocked up on groceries before getting into town) and washer/dryer. We would stay again and would highly recommend to friends/family.

  • Beautiful place to get away, enjoy the outdoors and snuggle up. It seems the hosts thought of all the little things we might need to get cozy and enjoy our time.

    Adriana2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • If you are on the fence about selecting this rental: GO FOR IT!! The property is relaxing and absolutely lovely. The hosts we're extremely accommodating and it was the little things they provided like folding chairs, an extra dog bed, providing fire starters and more that really added to our trip. We didn't have to drive far to access kayaking rentals, trails to hike, or a grocery store. The outdoor shower/bath is really unique and the view from it was more beautiful than photos can depict. I can't rave enough about this place! We loved it and you will too.

    Kate2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Such a beautiful setting! My wife and I were looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway. We got exactly that! There is a private pond 50 yards away for you to fish in, walking distance from Huzzah River, and of course the Dillard Mill. Beautiful place and awesome hosts! Thanks again guys and we will see you next year!

    Zach2019-08-25T00:00:00Z

    Michelle2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Airstream was clean and had all the amenities we needed. I'm 6'4 and could walk around the camper comfortably though I did hit my head on the door once so watch for that. Location was beautiful, cows right outside the trailer in the morning were a nice bonus.

    Braxton2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place was such a great place to get away. There was so much to do in a small area-trails, fishing, Dillard Mill. We enjoyed getting away from everything here.

    Caitlyn2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • My partner & I had the most amazing weekend in the Airstream. The outdoor tub, firepit, and large patio where the perfect places to relax in the morning and evening. And that view! Jay, Evan, and Elliot gave us all the info we needed to explore the surrounding area with great tips! The Dillard Mill and the Huzzah Creek (both a short walk from the Airstream) were beautiful & a must visit. The trailer itself is stocked with everything you would need to cook full meals, relax with a movie, or just hang out. The bed was very comfortable, the trailer was clean, and the AC kept it very cool during the heat of the day. We loved our stay & will suggest it to our friends. Hope to return next summer!

Enjoy your own personal park space with Current riverfront access. This cozy three bedroom, one bath cabin is uniquely situated on 3 acres within National Park land boundaries just outside one of Missouri's premiere trout parks. Montauk State Park is just minutes away. Even if you don't fish, you can take a float trip, swim in the clear cool waters of the Current river, relax by the riverside fire pit or just sit on the deck and take in the natural beauty of the Ozarks National Scenic Riverways.
We are very blessed to have this property. It -with very few others- literally sits within the boundaries of the Ozark Scenic Riverways National Park. When you think about it, it is the only riverway designated as a National Park. We welcome all guests to spend some time in the heart of the Ozarks at the Blue Ribbon Trout Cabin. The cabin can accommodate up to six people. Yes, it will be cozy with that number, but doable. There is a master bedroom with a queen-size bed; two smaller bedrooms with one twin-bed in each room and; a sofa with a hide-a-bed. -The only bathroom is located in the master bedroom- The cabin has a cozy living room/dining room and a full kitchen. There is a T.V. with Satellite and a DVD player. Not sure why anyone would want to watch tv, but the boss made me put it there! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals: Fridge, stove, sink, coffeemaker, microwave, toaster, dishes and just about every utensil one needs to prepare and eat meals. There is a Weber charcoal grill located outside -no need to rush with gas- along with a table, chairs and additional deck chairs to enjoy your time outside. Down by the river (less than 100 yards) is a fire ring. You are more than welcome to build a fire and enjoy the tranquility of the river. All we ask is that you please buy/use local firewood and make every attempt to burn it. If there is deadfall -lying on the ground of the property- you are more than welcome to burn it. As mentioned at the beginning, this is a very special and unique property. You will be staying in National Park Property. Please treat it, as with all forest/park property with the utmost respect, and it will reward you forever! We look forward to hosting you! Matt
It's the Ozark National Scenic RIverways! Enough said!

The cabin had anything and everything you would need. It was so nice to unplug and just enjoy nature. We cannot wait to come back in the fall with all the color changes with the beautiful full grown trees and have a nice warm bonfire!😍

This cozy little cabin is located just .3 miles from Montauk State Park, and the river is just a quick walk down the hill. The beautiful Current River has some of the best trout and fly fishing in the Midwest. Montauk is known for the fantastic fishing, canoeing, hiking, biking, swimming, and caving. We now offer shuttle service to the river and from the airport. The deck and hot tub offer an amazing view of the stars. We also have coffee and cookies.
A larger house next door is available for rental as well. The cabin has access to the large private deck and venue space and hot tub attached to the house that can be used as an activity venue for friends and family. There is a back bathroom also available off the deck. There is some problem with phone access with phones other than AT and T because of the remote location. Wildlife is plentiful, including some recent bear sightings.
We are very close to the Montauk State Park Lodge which has excellent food. Happy Pappy's is also very close on the way to the park. It has sandwiches and homemade pies. Down the hill a couple miles is Bo's Hollow. They have excellent barbecue and old Model T cars you can ride in. In the town of Licking about 13 miles away is the well known Olig's Barbecue.
  • Nice place for a couple people to stay for a few days. No complaints here.

    Shawn2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect little cabin to stay at while fishing in the area!

    Daniel2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time fishing/exploring the area and was very happy with our temporary home. The cabin was small, but very clean/comfortable and almost too well decorated for a couple of old fisherman! The location to Montauk State park made driving back for lunch break very convenient. The area was very quite and I don’t remember ever seeing so many stars at night.

    Dale2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Small but comfortable.

    John2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and had a wonderful stay (Oct19). There was a fire pit right outside the front porch cabin with plenty of wood (provided). There is a stone pathway between the cabin and the big house which opens up into a large, open backyard for both guests to utilize. Great for kids playing, yard games (also provided), barbecue, and/or a bon fire. Montauk State Park is right down to road, a perfect location for this cabin! During the rain we cozied inside the cabin either playing game, reading, and watched movies (all also provided). Thank you for the extra thoughtful touches, especially the coffee!

    Alisa2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • A really cozy cabin minutes from the State Park equipped with everything - towels, dishes, grill, coffee, and more. I had access to the hot tub at the main house which was amazing after hiking and fishing at the park all day. I considered tent camping but am glad I chose to stay here instead.

    Andrew2019-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • This little place is absolutely adorable. Super clean. It is pretty much a just a nicer sleeping cabin (nicer than montaulk’s) but the use of the space is perfect for a weekend away fishing. The tiny kitchen was a bonus for cooking our fresh caught trout for dinner. You really don’t have use of the deck next door if someone is staying there but really don’t need it. You have everything you need here. Nice fire pit, Weber grill, chairs. We even played cornhole! We brought 4 people but Sharon was nervous about it but It worked perfectly for us. Typically I would say 3 max. But my husband and I slept on the bottom double, daughter up top and my son in tight fitting loft. Great spot right outside montalk. Highly recommend if you plan to spend most time outdoors. And who wouldn’t around here!

  • This is a very cute and cozy little cabin right outside Montauk State Park. It's all the comfort of a cabin but very private. That said, it's only .5 miles from the park Lodge. Bunk beds that could sleep 3, plus a small loft you could fit 1 or 2 additional (if 2, they'd need to be smaller) people in if you had to. I now want a cabin exactly like this one some day. We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time.

Whether you are visiting the MST campus, the Fort Wood area, the Phelps Regional Medical center, or any of the businesses in the area, this fully furnished home is a quiet respite from the city. The Guest house is just a short 32 miles to the south gate at Fort Leonard Wood. It is only 3.5 miles to the hospital. Because Rolla is rich in Theatre, Museums, and Outdoor activities, anytime of the year is a good time to visit Rolla, MO. This guest house is managed by Jyoti Ishaya.
You will find a warm, quiet, and inviting atmosphere in this home. The house is in a neighborhood just outside the city limits yet within 5 minutes of shopping. Characteristic of the entire neighborhood, there are lots of trees, grass, gardens, and large yards. The neighborhood is very quiet. This large 3 bedroom home has a large open kitchen, dining, living area. There are 3 chairs that recline, plus a rocking chair in the living room. The living room has a fireplace with a remote to set the temperature. It is a very warm and comfortable environment. Front, back, and side yards are large with lots of trees, grass, and garden. You are minutes from Rolla, although you may feel more out in the country. Restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, even the movie theater is within 2 miles of the home.
We have seen lots of deer through the neighborhood this fall, especially on the roads leading to the home. Depending on which direction you come in, scenery varies. No matter which way you come, you will see lots of trees. Everyone has a large yard through this entire neighborhood.

Close to restaurants and stores. It felt like home!

  • This house was the perfect place for 3 of my colleagues and I to stay for a work trip! There's not a ton of nice hotels in Rolla, so we are thankful to Michele for providing this wonderful place to stay near to Missouri S&T! The place was sparkling clean, comfy and homey. The bathrooms have also been recently re-finished and have beautiful updated showers and sinks with great water pressure, which we did not expect from an old house. The snacks were a great touch, and the wifi was very fast! We would definitely stay here again on a trip back to Rolla!

    Wendy2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to relax, and is very close to the Montauk trout park. Sharon has put a lot of thought into the setup, and it really shows. The coffee, cookies, and hot tub are a great addition. The decor of the house is well done and adds to the ambience of a getaway cabin. We had a great time and will be returning. There is plenty of space and amenities, but it still maintains a rustic feel.

  • A perfect place to get away and forget all of life’s anxiety’s.

    Jonathan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a spot to get off the grid, unplugged and reconnected to nature--this is the one. Beautiful Ozark habitat with ponds and hills and farms to explore. We did some creek crossing and gazed at stars. We chose not to look at our clocks or drive the car (well, we broke that promise to return a stray dog) for the weekend---and it was wonderful. Beautiful spot, thoughtful hosts and a place with all that you need.

    Jean2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The magic of the forest is so palpable as you explore the shiitake farm. So much gorgeous flowing and vibrant moss. This property teams with life. We loved sitting in front of the fire for hours and reading old random ozarkian magazines.

    Matthew2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful view and great places to swim and hike. We can't wait to go back in the summer.

    Sandy2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Daniel’s space was a charming getaway for romantics. Light some candles, make a feast, and place yourself in front of the fireplace or on the porch for hours on end. The location is certainly off the beaten path. Follow the directions exactly and you’ll be fine. Other reviews addressed problems with the gravel road for vehicles lower to the ground. I drove my Audi A5 and, truthfully, it did scrape bottom a couple of times. However, it was nothing too detrimental. Just be aware. Come prepared with some mushroom as Daniel’s adjoining mushroom farm has some of the finest mushrooms to be had! Finally, if you have pets this is a great location. There are a few rules but nothing too restrictive.

    Sidney2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous property, delicious mushrooms, and a wonderful host!

    Julie2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • We spent 2 nights at Daniel's Farm, fishing, kayaking, visiting local parks and rivers, and enjoying the serenity of the Beaver Lake House. The mushroom farm was an unexpected delight!

  • Diane was an amazing host. She gave us great ideas for hiking relatively close to her place. She was friendly and hospitable, and her place was super clean. If you are planning to visit, keep in mind that Diane’s house is a great option for those who are looking for a quite retreat in the nature cuz cellphone signal is very poor there (as well as everywhere else around Mark Twain forest).

  • Diane was a great host... we arrived much later than we thought but she was still super accommodating. Everything was clean and cozy. Extremely close to lots of Missouri’s natural wonders.

  • Beautiful farm, cute animals and a fantastic farm tour! Delicious muffins as breakfast! Will definitely live here again when I visit this place next time!

  • Diane was so sweet and hospitable, and had so many interesting stories to tell us! In the morning she made us muffins and coffee. Not far from town, but no service!

Please click to read more about the space as there are very important details in there! Private bedroom with queen size bed and has its own thermostat to control the temperature. Nice neighborhood on the edge of town but only half mile to planet fitness, dollar general, JC Penny, Harbor Freight, Hobby Lobby, Sonic, and more. *NO SMOKING *NO PETS *NO CURRY *I would like to keep the house clean and odor free so please respect the requirements of no smoking, no pets, and no curry. Thank you!
I will work to make your stay as pleasant as possible, but please note there is no coffee pot or Keurig type amenity. You are welcome to bring your own, and there are several coffee places within 3 miles of the house. Wifi is available as is a smart TV in the bedroom (you will need to sign in to your accounts to use). A TV is also available in the living area. There are some internet TV channels available, but there are no local stations or cable service. It is basically available so you can sign-in to your streaming service account, or browse youtube, or watch the internet TV channels. The floors are styled concrete throughout the house with tile in bathroom so suggest some slippers especially for night time bathroom trips, but your shoes are fine to wear inside. The driveway is currently gravel so is slightly uneven and can be mushy if we've had much rain. You can park in the street or in the driveway. This is a split floor plan meaning the room is on one side of the house while my room is on the other. However, it is a small house and the hard floors don't absorb sound. The room is also right next to the kitchen. While every care will be given to ensure your privacy and quiet environment throughout the night, there may be some minor disturbances. A fan is provided to help create "white" noise. I will try to keep noise from being a problem, but an occasional door, toilet flush, even cough or sneeze may disturb you. The bed will be made, but a tad sloppy. The bedding will have been washed prior to your arrival, but making it all perfectly tucked in and wrinkle free is not gonna happen. The house is all electric so no carbon monoxide detector is needed. There are smoke detectors, including in the guest bedroom. They are all connected so if any one alarms, they will all alarm. Please note that the electrical box is in the guest bedroom. Although it is unlikely I would need to enter the space during your stay, I do need to reserve the right to go in to access the panel in the event of an electrical related incident. There are bath towels provided. Please bring your own shampoo/conditioner...a general dollar, big lots, and walmart are all within 2 miles of the location should you need to purchase any supplies for your stay.
Lions club park is nearby with lots of playgrounds, pavilions, and a nice sized pond with a walking path around it.
  • Great as always highly recommend

  • The place place was truly amazing and perfect. Stayed here for my sister’s graduation and my family loved it. For a first time AirBnB’er this was a great experience! Kim was so helpful and understanding of my situation/late check in time and that made everything much smoother. I definitely recommend the place.

  • Kim was very helpful the whole entire trip. Even though our trip was cut short due to weather she offered to refund a night and even offered to let us stay another night for free! Overall 10/10!

  • Absolutely amazing Airbnb, it was a bit far from FLW but we knew it from the beginning and it totally worth the trip because the place is stunning, Kim was always there to help. She has a beautiful family and we will definitely come back again.

  • It is a beautiful cabin, with many nice touches. The location was very private and cozy. Being true to the name, we saw many hawks gliding high above the trees on the ridge. We never left the cabin due to rain. But we enjoyed a warm fire from morning to night, games, reading, and best of all, peace and quiet. It was very clean as well as comfortable. Great place for a family with children or a group. We three busy moms were well rested would totally stay again.

    Danielle2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is great! location. Close to town but you still have the feeling of being in a secluded place. Jim was a great host. Answered all my questions and responded to my messages right away. The cameras on the front porch where a surprise but nice to know we had extra eyes on the place. The beds were great! Lots of things to do around the area. Can't say all the great things this place has to offer...........would be writing for days. Would love to get back here again! Really loved the cabin!

    Vicki2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • This rustic cabin is just minutes from St James, but with the windows facing the trees, you’ll feel like you’re in the middle of the woods. The cabin was cozy and well decorated, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The Keurig was a nice touch. The hill up is a bit unnerving at first, but if you have AWD it’s no issue! We loved our weekend getaway to unwind.

  • This is not your regular little cabin in the woods. Neat, huge place comes with super responsive host who seems to linger with you the entire time of your visit. Very slick design. Super comfy master bed. Well stocked kitchen with spices, condiments, cooking utensils, tons of glasses, pots, plates... We stayed until we filled the dishwasher and left after pushing the button. Great place worth visiting! This review courtesy of two picky fellow hosts.
