Siglinde was a wonderful hostess. Our apartment was exactly what we wanted and expected. Wonderful walking trails were everywhere and the big sights are a short drive away. Clean and sparkling and well equipped. No microwave but an stove and oven was all we needed. Bavaria is a beautiful place and Siglinde and her husband made us feel like we were at home.

This is the number one destination in Europe. It was an even better place to stay than listed. The apartment was warm, comfortable and clean. All the amenities were at your disposal to make to make your stay convenient and easy. Sieglinde and Dominikus were there to answer questions but never interfered with your privacy. We definately recommend this to all our friends and we will be back.

We had a nice and interesting holiday. The weather was good and all days we spend in the mountains. The area is good for hiking. Some trails starts near the appartment. Nature and mountains are very nice and diverse here. The appartment is clean, comfortable and there are everything that you need for stay. Sieglinde and her husband are wonderful hosts, very friendly, sociable and accepted us as family. They are always ready to help and give advice if you required. Thank you for the wonderful days.

In Unterammergau arrived, we were very friendly and warmly greeted by Sieglinde. The apartment was bright and very comfortable, as we have imagined it for Bayern. All photos meet the accommodation. The kitchen includes to care for themselves all the necessary utensils and crockery. We have come to Unterammergau to visit the royal castles and explore whether the migration of us may be a possibility of sporting activities. We really liked the daily tips by Sieglinde and her husband about our routes in the Ammergau Alps and the Allgäu. Fix We were also fast times down to the chairlift and supplied with walking sticks. Host very welcoming and helpful. Apartment was comfortable had all we needed but everything was a bit dated with limited and odd china and glassware. There was no clear view of the mountains, more views of neighbouring houses than we expected. Road and railway nearer than expected but this may have ben expected in the price.

The apartment is perfect! Quiet location but everything is easily accessible. After a few steps you are in the middle of the beautiful nature of Unterammergau, a bakery is just around the corner and the supermarket can be reached by car in about 3 minutes. The apartment is well equipped, very clean and most of all (it shows directly when first entering the apartment) has been furnished with great care and effort. Nicoletta has welcomed us warmly, was very helpful and was able to give us lots of tips. Unterammergau suitable but also to relax just great as a "starting point" for many trips. My wife and i just had our dream vacation and a big thanks to Nicoletta and her husband. The apartment is exactly as describe, everything you could ask for. Nicoletta was an outstanding host and all questions that we ask her she had answers for it. The location of the apartment is awesome and close to lots of things to visit. She gave us 2 cards with lots of discount or even free stuff to do in the area and we used it. Our stay was outstanding and we will definitely go back one day.

Nicoletta and Paul were wonderful hosts. Nicoletta went out of her way to help us buy groceries from her neighbour’s shop after opening hours and provided us with cooking essentials (olive oil, pepper) apart from a basket of welcoming gifts. Nicoletta was resourceful and provided us with the Konigs Card that has Ammergau Alpen benefits such as free bus rides (Unterammergau-Oberammergau-Garmisch Partenkirchen), bicycles for the length of our stay, cable cars to Laber and Wank mountains for a view of the alps and so on. Nicoletta provided us with cycling route information, which allowed us to cycle to LInderhof castle. The apartment was beautifully furnished, has its own entrance (providing us privacy), clean and tidy. It had a fully equipped kitchen (with oven and dishwasher), bathroom (including a bathtub), TV area and dining area apart from the spacious sleeping area with a comfortable bed. The location is beautiful and quiet, away from the more commercialized Oberammergau (10 - 15 minutes by bicycle) and Garmisch-Partenkirchen (30 minutes bus ride). Unterammergau train station is located across the main road, about 10 minutes stroll from the apartment. Our stay was cut short due to the train route disruptions from the floods. We would recommend at least a week’s stay at this apartment. We highly recommend this apartment for its excellent hosts, non-commercialized location and beautiful rooms.

The apartment is very nicely decorated, clean and cozy. We have felt ourselves very well. Woman Mitterer is a great hostess and gave us valuable tips for trips and activities. Very happy again.

Nicoletta and Paul Mitterer are gracious hosts that were caring and helpful as well as allowing us our privacy in their well appointed apartment (with free wifi). The KönigsCard really is a fantastic bonus whether you prefer cultural activities or the outdoors. Free rides on cable cars and ski lifts, even a summer toboggan which was so much fun if you are an active person. For the more culturally inclined, museum entry including the famous castle Linderhof to cheese making and wood carving. If you enjoy nature, Unterammergau offers so much from moorland to mountains. There are around +-480 km of exceptionally well marked trails for either hiking or biking around the Ammergau Alps that begin in Unterammergau. The Mitterers arranged city bikes for us and we thoroughly enjoyed cycling, taking in the scenery and cultural activities. Our stay in Unterammergau at the Mitterer's apartment was so much more than we expected, a truly wonderful experience.

Nicoletta and Paul were great hosts in every way. From the beautiful accommodation they provide to the caring, friendly attention to those staying in the apartment. Unterammergau is quieter and more friendly than bigger neighbour, Oberammergau. Folk greet you on the street so you feel welcome in their small, close knit community. Our stay in Benhard&Tina’s house was incredible. First of all, Benhard and Tina are one of the nicest and kindest persons we’ve met not only in Airbnb, but in general. They went beyond their host responsibilities and treated us like friends. The information they shared with use was incredibly valuable and made a different to our plans. The house is so cozy and comfortable, that we wanted to stay longer. Benhard is a skilled carpenter and renovated the house, built a wonderful balcony (where you can have breakfast with a breathtaking view) and made almost all the furniture. So you know you are sleeping in an exclusive bed or laying in a unique sofa The village and the house are strategically situated to explore the valley, the mountains and other towns. We’ve loved staying in Benhard and Tina’s place. Highly recommended and top airbnbers.

The apartment, the hosts and the surroundings are gorgeous! We spent our first holiday with child there in February. The apartment is as described and photographed, very comfortable and nicely decorated to the last detail. Tina and Bernard made our holiday "accompanied" cordial. We got tips for super beautiful walks with child, we always used and who protected us from impassable places. Our little son has a "playground" and occasionally get a seat in front of fireplace and we evenings also times nen beer. Thank you so much for everything! The apartment is really beautiful. Everything is like in the pictures, if not even more beautiful. The kitchen is also great equipped so that you can also super cook. Nothing is lacking to feel good. Bernhard and his wife are very helpful and cordial host. I would highly recommend it and I'm even happy times again.

We spent two nights with our small babies in this wonderful apartment and felt very comfortable! The apartment is just as cozy as it looks in the photos, the kitchen is well equipped and otherwise one can only feel good! The Design Jewel has earned its name by a very nice facility in particular the extensive use of wood. On rainy days you can as well spend the day relaxing in the apartment.

We loved our stay at Bernard and Tina's Jewel house in the town of Unterammagau. This adorable well equipped home has beautiful views of the mountains, easy access to hiking and biking trails, and is a short walk to a bakery with the best baked goods we have ever tasted! Bernard is an incredible craftsman with attention taken to ever detail. This home is decorated beautifully and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We look forward to returning for a longer stay and home to check out the x-country ski trails. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

We spent 2 nights in this delightful apartment. It was well equipped, spotlessly clean, warm and the carpentry is beautiful. Tina and Bernhard were extremely welcoming and friendly and keen to make our stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible, not to mention full of suggestions for things to do and places to visit in the area. The town itself is pretty, and not far from the popular tourist 'Must Do's' like Neuschwanstein Castle, Zugspitze, and The Romantic Road. Communication during the booking and day of arrival process was excellent - they were quick to respond and very pleasant to deal with. Favourite moment at this apartment - sitting at the little table on the balcony, in the early morning with a hot drink and taking in the peaceful, panoramic, snow covered mountain view. Loved it. We'll be back!

Arto and Sandra were nice, helpful and attentive hosts. The contact was easy. We came with our 2 years old child. They prepare toys, a high chair and plastic plates and cups for us. The apartment is well located, in a gorgeous area. The kitchen is well equipped. The castle Neuschwanstein is around 15 minutes far by car. I will definitely come back there next time!

Fantastic! Great location for jumping off to Fussen, Neuschwanstein, Austria and most of all...having dinner and lunch atop a mountain top..Tegelbergbahn and Buchenbergbahn are a must!!! Arto and Sandra are great! Parking is not an issue. Coffee in the cabinet. I highly recommend for travelers with an auto!

We spent 3 nights Arto & Sandra's apartment, it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The apartment has everything you need and provides a great base for exploring the area. Arto & Sandra could not of been more helpful hosts, they gave us detailed information about public transport from Munich, arranged a taxi to collect us from the station and organised tourist cards prior to our arrival. We had a wonderful experience. Very nice house and centrally located to all attractions near Halblech. The cable car ride is just 100ml away. It also has a great view from the balcony. Arto and Sandra were very helpful right from the time of booking. They gave us very good suggestions for places to visit and also got guest cards which entitled us to discounts across various places in the city. My husband and I had a wonderful and would definitely recommend this place to my friends. We really wished that we had stayed longer!!

We LOVED our stay at this apartment. First off, the location is phenomenal... Across from it are a cheese shop, butcher and grocery, and at least 2 restaurants. We bought delicious cheese and meat from the KÄSEHAUS across the street. The apartment is a few minute walk to amazing hiking, which our hosts welcomingly showed us all of the trails and gave us a great map. This was one of the best hikes we have ever been on. Waterfalls and rivers and streams everywhere. It's an 8 minute drive from the castle... So convenient!! Plus Arto and Sandra were extremely communicative, helpful and friendly. We will stay here again.

At the foot of the Alps in a nice little apartment, beautiful, suitable for travel by car friend. Of course, from the bus station is also very close, you can take the bus go to Neuschwanstein. The only drawback is the house of the family of three is a bit smaller, there is no elevator for excessive luggage is somewhat inconvenient.

Our host was very accurate to describe the apartment with the ammenities. Communication was on the highest level. The apartment was spotless.

We had a slight delay of our arrival, but Evelyne was kind enough to meet us. She gave us a tour of the place and showed us a map and directions on how to get to and from the castles. There were many rules in the place and felt as though we were being supervised like children, which made for an uncomfortable stay. The morning of our departure we decided to stay until the checkout time instead of leaving earlier, as we had originally thought, and the host got mad. We felt so uncomfortable with her response we packed up our things and left. Even though this sounds trivial, the towel situation was bleak. There was only one tiny towel provided for each of us. They were barely large enough to cover or dry our bodies and there wasn't a wash cloth or even a hand towel to dry with after washing hands. As a girl with long hair, I felt terrible because my wet hair soaked her pillows. The bus stop was much further away than anticipated and we ended up having to drag our luggage for roughly 20 mins to get to the closest bus stop.

We had a wonderful time at Alena, Evelyne was a great host; the room was beautiful, she provided us with coffee, tea and some bread for breakfast, and the room was completely furnished with all of the tourist information we needed! She had binders full of activities, restaurants, and information on the famous castles close by. It really felt like we were at a really nice hotel, we would love to go back!

The use of two bicycles included in the stay made exploring the area so enjoyable as we were not traveling by car. We cycled everywhere, including the ticket office for the castles, lakes and luge. The independent double room was immaculate, as described, quiet and bright. Room very clean bathroom with quality materials, new bedding and comfortable. royal breakfast and organic! Many documents available to organize a holiday. Evelyne greeted us with discretion, and we enjoyed his philosophy during the brief moments shared the next day.

Evelyn was friendly and helpful. she had fresh fruit (cherries, bananas, apples) for us and breakfast items (toast, cereal). due to the closeness of neighbors, you need to be respectful of noise levels (don't shower late or before 6am).

Hostess Evelyn was very warmhearted and offered us a nicely prepared and 'luxury' breakfast =D The apartment ALENA was very cozy and tidy. It's nicely located, next to a bicycle renting place and there's a REWE supermarket within walking distance. Evelyn has acquired and printed out a lot of useful information for us travelers, such as restaurant info, transport info, and so forth. As stated in the ALENA description, only cable network connection is available. But still highly recommended for people who wants a quiet and warm stay! Thank you Evelyn =)!

The apartment is really nice and comfortable, exactly as described in the advertisement. we loved the warm atmosphere of this house and the amazing view from the terrace. Therese was so kind in welcoming us. we do suggest a staying in this lovely place, surrounded by the mountains and nature.

sweet little place with charm! nicely decorated, and comfy to hang out. close to the kristall therme, and of course the castles. I stayed here while hitting the slopes, and it was worth the little extra drive for a great home for a great price!

I can only recommend the mountain oasis in a fantastic location highly! Although we have only spent one night there, but we have nevertheless immediately felt comfortable and at home! The view from the large balcony is truly magnificent and the sun invites very to spend time :)

A thoroughly lovely furnished apartment in a dream location for Neuschwanstein Castle. Just a few steps to the lake. Our hostess Theresa was ready and very nice and uncomplicated always for questions. We will come back!

Therese was a great hostess and met us with the keys and a lovely tour of this alpine apartment. The balcony has beautiful views of the Alps and the Froggen see. (and the neighbors cows). Shcwansgau is a lovely city and very quiet and peaceful and is a short drive to the castles and the Alps. The Guest House on the lake is highly recommended for diner and watch the sun set over the lake. I could live here myself and really enjoy the rural German live.

This was our first Airbnb and it was great! The house was clean, spacious, had beautiful views and was very comfortable!

Our stay at "Haus Victoria" was just perfect. We arrived late and there was already a fire in the chimney waiting for us. The cozy flat is very nice arranged and well equipped. We found everything we needed. Vicky provided some basics for breakfast and a variety of coffe pads. There is much information about the region around and everything else to know for your stay in the flat. Our 5 years old daughter liked it very much, too. There is a little playground in the garden and two nice children to play with. The location of the flat is very good, too. Wildsteig is a nice village. The inn is very tasty and we found some other tasty restaurants around. There are so much things to do, all not far away (e.g. Neuschwanstein Castle, Zugspitze, Alpine Coaster). Vicky is a very nice host, friendly, helpful and well organized. Thank you so much again!

The apartment had all we needed and with a nice view to the Alps. It's perfect for a family with children and they can also use the small playground outside. Christine's apartment is the perfect little place for a weekend getaway! It's a wonderful value especially for having the whole place to yourself. The mini kitchen and all of the amenities came into use as well and there's a balcony too. Everything was very clean and went smoothly. She is great for late check in too because she has a convenient key box system. Parking wasn't an issue for us. Only 40 mins from garmisch so it was great since we snowboarders out there. Will definitely stay here again when I am back

Christine's apartment was lovely and clean and perfect for our stay in Bavaria. Beautiful view from the balcony and enough facilities to cook in the flat if you want to. The flat is in a lovely area and we had a great time exploring. Amazing trip up the Alpspitz and to the hollental gorge, strongly recommended!
