Awesome place to stay. Host Leo and his wife were very welcoming! The house is fantastic and it was clean as my mother's house :) The bedroom was perfectand the bed was the "nasa" one, so I could sleep perfectly. Outstanding!

We enjoyed our stay

Extremely clean. The fridge outside room was bigger than what you get in a hotel. Bathroom was across the hall but it was fine. Renovated and private. I went there to get some writing done and it was perfect. Just needed a quiet room. The location was very convenient as I could walk to stores (or take a short ride) including grocery, sushi, pizza, etc. Very nice hosts. And the neighborhood was really cute. Oh, and there's a nice hiking trail right down the street. I didn't go on it, but I might have with my husband. Overall, it was great. No issues.

Julie and her husband are delightful hosts. The space is clean, and they left thoughtful touches like snacks and toothbrushes. That may sound silly, but after traveling all day, it was nice to see those little things. When I return to New Jersey this fall, I will stay with them again.

Julie is a great host. She is very willing to accommodate, but my friend and I didn’t have to ask for anything because everything we wanted was already there. Her home is meticulously clean and very beautiful. If you are making a decision between this home and a different stay, I would definitely recommend this one!

Place feels like home and the hosts are very welcoming. Although you share space common space there’s no privacy issues, and you have your own bathroom. There is plenty of street parking which is a bonus. Very grateful as the hosts were really kind and friendly :)

Anna’s place was great! It was clean, had parking and loved the fire place and projector. Anna was always quick to respond as well. On the only thing is, it’s listed as an entire private apartment but it’s not, it’s in a private basement with other living above you. It wasn’t bad though but I would suggest to change the description. It was good over all!

Due to disparate schedules, I didn't actually get to meet Fritzson, but he communicated very well via messages, and made check-in easy. Spacious and comfortable bedroom with TV in a sparsely decorated second floor 1 bedroom apartment. The host sleeps in the common area of the apartment. Would stay again.

Visited because it was close to the renaissance festival. Our host was very good at communicating with us as well as provided a clean and comfortable place to stay. Would book her again as well as recommend to others.

I traveled to NJ for the day and my plans rearranged. I needed to look for an affordable place to stay the night. The host quickly accepted my request and had my room ready within 20 mins. Room was located in a basement with low ceiling. Very comfortable and had the basement at a good temperature. Bathroom was better than I expected. I would highly recommend.

The host always response with you, and makes sure you have any concern met. They keep a VERY,VERY clean bathroom. Joel supply you with the best soap and shampoo. The room had Netflix,fride & microwave, very convenient. I really enjoyed my stay here will absolutely visit again. I reccomend this bnb.

Doris and her family were kind enough to host me on short notice. I was made welcome immediately. The house is sparkling clean and Doris even cooked breakfast. The guests can use their own entrance door. Great stay!!

Doris and Mario are wonderful hosts at their home in the tiny village of Hillburn. It's so close to everything, but it feels so remote. This is a perfect place to stay for anyone explorng the area, and especially for anyone hiking in the Harriman/Bear Mountain or Sterling Forest areas. My room was small but immaculately clean and very comfortable. Doris made me a wonderful breakfast in the morning before I departed to hike for the day. This was a wonderful gift and a great way to spend my 53rd birthday.

Secluded, charming, comfortable, quirky, warm, clean, pleasant. It was winter and I was afraid it would be drafty and chilly--but it was VERY comfortable and cozy.

A return visit. We enjoyed the home as much as the first time. It snowed and Edward was there right away to plow the driveway. I'm sure this home is wonderful in the summer but we really like it in winter. Cozy, great heat, and very private. Definitely worth renting!

This Airbnb is like a little slice of home. The cozy barn house, was clean, safe and came with outstanding amenities. Full kitchen, closets, Wi-Fi, TV, full bathroom, living and dining area. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an Airbnb in North Jersey.

I absolutely loved staying here. My living area was spacious & clean & had everything I needed plus!! I met the host & she couldn’t have been nicer. The thing that blew me away was that the first night I got in we got a couple inches of snow. When I came out the next morning they had totally cleaned my car off! Last night we got 9 inches of snow & this morning I came out to another clean car & a shoveled driveway!!! Whenever I’m in the area I’m staying here. Wish I could give 8 stars!!

Location was in the nicest “nook” for quick access to all major North NJ highways. Candy and Will are really nice genuine people. They made me feel comfortable and at home right away ! They’re home is decorated lovely it was a pleasure staying there quite honestly. Very clean as well !

I booked this spot for a friend of mine while I stayed in a spot in Haledon. We gathered in New Jersey for a weekend trip. Candy and Will are quick to respond and will answer any of your questions. They are very accommodating and pleasant folks. My friend reported that she loved the place and that the hosts were very nice. It had everything she needed and the access to entry was very convenient. The place is in a nice area of Prospect Park, and just within a 2-5 minute drive to stores nearby for all your necessities. I would book again!

I had a lot of privacy even though I only rented a room, and it was very quiet nice and warm! the neighborhood was safe and there's even parking in the driveway! highly recommended I would go there anytime I'm in New Jersey!

I stayed for a night. I had a powerlifting meet in Fair Lawn and wanted to cut down on my early morning drive. Hosts were kind and hospitable. Room was clean and bed was comfy. :)

Really stylish space in a very convenient area. Candy and Will were very warm and welcoming hosts, even though I rarely saw them. Their thoughtful touches and easy communication made me feel right at home, and I felt like I had the place to myself most of the time!

Five stars ALL AROUND! What a perfect place for my recent business trip in the area. First of all, their guest handbook and check-in instructions were amazing. No stone left unturned. I felt so comfortable before I arrived, and when I arrived, as a result. Absolutely everything worked, and worked VERY well. Heat + thermostat, hot water, shower, TV, shades, - everything. SUPER COOL space. Sun porch was an amazing touch and a wonderful place to relax after such long days during my trip. The heater in the sun porch was super fast and made it comfortable even with below freezing temps outside. Super cozy, very calm and quiet, plenty of street parking even when I came back after 10pm most evenings, and super clean. I will definitely keep this as my first choice for staying in this area again!

It was fantastic stay which I never expected and such a nice treating altogether along with tips etc. I happily to stay for my future trips with out any doubt. Thanks to Brad and his family for all their help during my stay.

Candy & Will’s is the perfect and stylish place. In a minimalistic way, the place has all the basic amenities and needs for a humble stay. The neighborhood is quiet which is the best if you want a place to relax. Communication with them is a breeze and since I had a +1 with them, they suggested some local eateries which were amazing. Highly recommend if you want to stay here! Side note, my +1 is a bit over 6’5” which he was just able to fit in the bathroom. Other than that, the place is big enough for heights around 6 feet which was important to us.

As always, Candy and Will are head and shoulders above everywhere else I stayed!

Maria is indeed a super host. Communication was quick, clear and friendly. The house was bigger than we thought it would be, and we were so comfortable. It was very clean and well furnished. We used the bedroom that looks out on the back of the house and found the bed very comfy. The living room has a big screen TV and lots of seating. The property is large, in a lovely neighborhood, and very private. I hope we can come back in the summer and enjoy the pool and beautiful backyard.

Everything about our stay was fantastic. I was there to shoot a couple scenes for my feature film project because the pictures of the house matched perfectly for the scenes that we needed to shoot. We were looking for a quaint and cozy home and this place is exactly that and more. The pictures actually dont really do it justice. The house is immaculate and the vibe is very peaceful and relaxing which is always nice especially when you live in the city. When we arrived, Maria was there to meet us with freshly baked scones that were delicious! She is a very sweet woman who was very accommodating and always quick with her responses. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone who needs a little break from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Alice was a wonderful host. The whole experience was amazing. I got to Alice's place late in the evening and it was already pitch black outside. The whole apartment was very roomy, clean and felt very "homey". I woke up in the afternoon (not a morning person) and the first thing I see over my feet is the lake. It's an amazing view from the bedroom. The amount of light during the day time makes you feel like you were sleeping outdoors, but in the comfort of a bed. I just wish I could have stayed longer and brought my family with me to enjoy this amazing experience. I can't stress how beautiful the view is from Alice's place! The place was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The hot water and heat were great during our stay(mid fall). All basic kitchen and bathroom needs were supplied. The wifi works perfectly. Alice was very sweet and accommodating. She also had very good recommendations for our stay. Alice's place was very easy to get to from New York City. Also, uber/lyft operates in the area. If your looking for a private place right on the water then this is defiantly the place for you!

This was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Alice is a great host. She greeted me when I arrived and showed me around her beautiful property. The apartment is cozy and very unique—reminiscent of a ship's quarters. Being right on the lake was so serene, especially at sunset. I would love to stay here again!

One of the beat stays yet! Melissa and Mark were phenomenal hosts. Their Halloween decorations looked fantastic! They gave us a great restaurant recommendation and they let us use their hot tub. The other guests there were also very friendly and made us feel welcomed. I totally recommend! There is also an option to camp outdoors in their beautiful backyard.

Stayed two nights and would stay again. The place was perfectly adequate for a solo traveler and it was nice to have a parking space in the driveway. Would recommend.

Expect a very clean, well decorated, spacious house. Candy & Will are amazing hosts - they were quick to answer any questions we had. The house is equipped with many amenities - smart tv, big fridge, water machine etc. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and there are great food choices nearby. This was the perfect choice for a much needed relaxing weekend.

I personally did not like that the streets were a bit narrow, but the home itself is gorgeous. Check-in was very easy. There is a lot of supermarkets, bodegas, and restaurants near by. I was there for over a week, and it’s absolutely a great place to stay. Very easy to get into the city by express bus 194, which is about 5 mins walk from this place. Restaurants in walking distance as well. And you will easily become a friend of the cats if you stay there for a couple of days.

Good location, lots of shops and restaurants around to eat. Colleen and her daughter were helpful getting settled. Bed might be a bit short if you're much taller than 6' I'm 5'9" so it was perfect for me. Room is spacious.

Really great place! Colleen is a great host. Guests typically stay for a few days, but I ended up staying for over a month and she was extremely accommodating the entire time. The room is plenty large enough and both the bedroom and bathroom are very clean. There are stores and restaurants very near by, some even in walking distance. The huge Willowbrook Mall is at most a 10 minute drive (without traffic), so the location is great as well. Overall great experience. Thanks for everything Colleen!!

Colleen's space is as advertised. The recliner that replaced the pictured chair is very comfy. Mostly I just needed a space to sleep and this was perfect. It was quiet at night & the room was very spacious. It was also nice having a private bathroom right next to my room. Colleen was very friendly & welcoming. She checked with me in my way out (at 630 am) that everything had been ok. I appreciated her hospitality and would highly recommend staying here.

This house is in a great location on a quiet street. Alessandro Vickie and Simone are great hosts, very attentive give and thoughtful. They also communicate very quickly and effectively. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. I would recommend and stay again.

Simone is a supremely gracious and accommodating host who will go out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. His knowledge of the surrounding areas and the methods to get to and from the city is extremely helpful. His house is situated a short car ride to just about any major mall or shopping outlet + easy and free parking is available if you need to get to the city (which is only 20 miles away or a 40min ride). If you need a place to stay for work and want privacy, this is the spot for you.

Great location, great place, highly recommend

Nicole was a fantastic host and very accommodating. She was there for us and responded quickly when we had any requests, which wasn't often anyway as she had pretty much everything we needed set up in the apartment already. Her and her husband were very friendly and she set us up with a little tour when we arrived.

Great space. Great hosts. Clean and perfect.

We stayed for two weeks. Place was sparkling clean. Owner was very accommodating to our needs and was always quick to respond to our messages.

Expect a caring host and a very clean place. A little noise from the highway close by, but once all the windows and doors are closed, the noice is minimal.

VivaMiami has been a great host. Communication was smooth throughout the whole stay and was very understanding. All things were cleaned and organized. Not to mention the convenient location of the place, where it was easy to navigate anywhere and enjoy the town. Overall, great and comfortable experience!

Great great great host. Such a relaxing place to stay. Clean as a whistle!! It takes 5 minutes to get the lay of the land. Everything you could want is a quick walk away! I mean easy. Would definitely go back.

Simone's place was by far one of the best airbnbs I've stayed in, great area and quiet!

Checking in was a breeze, and Simone made sure that I had everything I needed to make my stay as smooth as possible. Room was cozy and located in a quite neighborhood.

Accommodation was as expected. Simple but everything you need. Host always responds immediately to requests. We were completely satisfied.

This was our first Airbnb experience and we were more than convinced. The welcome of Simon and our roommates was very warm. We did not miss anything and everyone was there for any questions or to help us anytime! The house is well maintained and feels at home. We had great moments around a meal, with lots of conversation and lots of laughs. We had very good moments of complicity with each one of them. We stayed here for a month and I highly recommend experiencing this experience, especially here. The lucky ones have even been difficult, Simon, John, Jimmy and Sean are very endearing people! Thank you to them for everything !!!

Excellent stay at John's lakeside cabin. He was very welcoming as a host and the space and view was amazing. The perfect place to unwind, wake up to a beautiful view of the lake. Local restaurants were excellent and easy access to boating and other water activities

John was the best Airbnb host I’ve had with an amazing apartment. He responded quickly to all questions, provided great local recommendations, and was overall very hospitable. I highly recommend his apartment for a wonderful, relaxing lake getaway.

Great place on a quiet lake without all of the tourism and busy traffic. Great surrounding towns with some really nice food and coffee shops. Must stay in spring summer and fall

What a beautiful spot right on the water! If you are looking for a weekend getaway this is the perfect spot. Despite having rainy and cold weather there is a lot to do around the area including some great restaurants that John told us about. The room is clean and cozy and a great place to relax after a long week. Will definitely want to come back in the summer!

Wanted a last minute quick getaway on a lake, and came across John's place. Took a chance, and was very glad we did. Private, very clean, and very comfortable. Nice touch with welcome treats. There was a good assortment of kcup coffees, bottled water, fruit, and assorted snacks. Recently remodeled, plenty of comfortable seating, great shower, and a very very comfortable bed. Note that while there is no full kitchen, (stove, pots, pans etc.... ) there is a full size fridge, toaster oven, microwave , coffeemaker, and plenty of disposable plates, bowls, and utensils. As long as you are not looking for a full kitchen, (we were not), this is a great spot. John greeted us, showed us around, and provided some local info. He was also quick to reply to any messages. A great host! We will return!

John’s place is beautiful. Exceeded my expectations in every way. John’s hospitality and communication is outstanding. He truly makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway with an amazing lakeside view. Will definitely come back again one day!
