This 1000sq ft cabin in the country with a very rural setting. It is quiet and relaxing, has a wood stove and is close to outdoor activities. Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer. Self-serve breakfast with home-made yogurt, home-made granola, home-made bread for toast, local grown organic eggs, (hot coffee, chocolate, tea) on request.

Enjoy easy access to popular shops and restaurants from this charming place to stay. LaGarita Trading Post, Colorado Grill, Three Barrels pizza, The Sunflour. There is a quaint Amish settlement south of MonteVista. Worth-the-Drive Bakery is worth the drive with meats and cheese and baked goods. Bontragers’s is their dry goods store. The hot springs pool at the Dunes is awesome. The Wave is a great experience on the Rio Grande at DelNorte. Wolf Creek ski hill is the best!!

This is a separated guest suite in a house shared with the host/owner. The stuccoed house is among the oldest in the Baca Grande. We're near town in a quiet spot--you can listen to the silence-- with views of the mountains and the valley. The suite includes two private rooms (a single & double) for three people.
