Family-friendly holiday rentals in Sahara Desert

Jonny and Eugenia made us feel very welcome in their bungalow. The pool and hot tub were such a nice addition and we had a lovely time with our little one. What's more, they had quite a lot of amenities which were so helpful for us! The location of the bungalow is quite close to some lovely beaches and restaurants. There were one or two minor issues which Jonny and Eugenia responded to very swiftly and helpfully. We would definitely consider staying in the Bungalow again! Thank you again Jonny and Eugenia! :)

If you are looking for a place to stay in the Marrakech Medina this is it. Beautifully appointed over four levels with 5 en suite bedrooms spa and 2 mini pools and roof top views this home was absolutely fantastic. Great for our family to come together for a wedding and experience the hustle and bustle of the Medina and the peace of the Riad. Hassan and Malouda took care of all our questions, taxis, washing and cooked us an amazing tagine meal. Truly spectacular

We had a wonderful stay in Puerto de la Cruz. Luisa is a lovely host who replies quickly and is very happy to give local recommendations. She even met us very late on our first night (1am!) to let us in and show us around the property. The house itself is large and beautiful and very well-equipped for a big group. We had everything we needed to cook for a week as a group of nine, and more than enough space. The heated pool really is amazing and was such a treat in early May. Highly recommend this house!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful villa. The setting was so peaceful and relaxing—exactly what we needed to unwind and escape for a while. The pool and jacuzzi were amazing and made our stay feel extra special. The views of the mountain behind the villa were absolutely spectacular—such a stunning backdrop to wake up to every day. The villa itself was spotless, comfortable, and full of charm. It really felt like a home away from home. Lorena was very helpful and gave us lots of useful information, which made everything easy and stress-free. We would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Jose was a very welcoming and attentive host. When we checked in we found everything we needed in the kitchen and some lovely extras. The house itself is in great condition. We enjoyed quiet evenings, with BBQ, enjoying the natural surroundings. The small pool was a great way to relax after a day out exploring the island. We would stay again!

We are glad we booked at this spot! The balcony was wonderful to have and everything was clean. What stood out the most was our very responsive host making sure we got all checked in even while her car was broken down on the side of the road! Despite the emergency, she responded to all our messages promptly and helped us check in. I was extra grateful when I woke up extremely sick from some bad fruit the night before and we were allowed a late check out until I recovered! We even left one of our passports at check out and she made sure the staff kept it safe for us. Very helpful owners, would recommend.

The perfect stay in Marrakech. This beautiful Riad sits tucked away right off a busy street that leads you to the plaza in a 10 min walk. There are SO many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Check in was seamless as a driver was waiting for us at the airport who drove us to the plaza then met with a man who took our luggage in a wheelbarrow to our Riad. The place is so stunning with a real feel for Marrakech. It's an open layout but all of the bedrooms have an air con unit. Fatima took care of us every single day we were so grateful for her. We scheduled dinner twice and breakfast once with her and it was some of the best meals we had during our stay. She also planned and set up at home henna and massages for us. For our departure she scheduled the luggage pick up and the taxi it was wonderful and so easy. WE LOVE YOU FATIMA. I cried leaving because of how at home this place made us feel and all of the love we felt. We will be back. Thank you so much.

Wow! I don’t even know where to start. The stay at Villa Amira was nothing short of incredible. It’s a beautiful house with a stunning Nile view and a courtyard with a private pool that is perfect for cooling off in the heat. We booked our driver, guide, and chef through Amira and it was by far our best experience in Egypt. Our guide, Z, was incredibly knowledgeable in Egyptology and was able to answer every question we had! We asked him to take us to his little coffee shop after a day of exploring Luxor (Elio Workshop & Cafe, go support the locals ☺️)! We had a private chef, Abdul, make such delicious meals every afternoon and evening and each one was better than the last! Lastly, Sonbol was a great host at the villa and helped us with everything we needed! I cannot say enough good things about this stay! It was the highlight of our trip!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was beautiful and comfortable, with an amazing view and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The location is perfect with plenty of incredible nature spots to explore nearby, and great coffee places, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Mitzpe Ramon.

Nathalie and Jean-Marc's Riad is a true haven of peace in a city that never sleeps! Very clean, functional, spacious and tastefully decorated, the Riad was ideal for a great stay. We did not have the pleasure of meeting Nathalie and Jean-Marc but they sent us messages regularly to see if everything was going well. And above all, we were received and accompanied throughout our stay by Fatima and Mohamed. They were very attentive to us and the children. Fatima's breakfasts and couscous were delicious. Mohamed welcomed us at the entrance to the medina, which is a labyrinth, and gave us valuable information to make our stay go well. Mohamed took us to beautiful places. Responsive and attentive to our wishes, he was able to find activities that appeal to both adults and children. They contributed greatly to the success of our stay. We came back delighted from the stay!

We had a great time! I would happily recommend Klaus & Eva’s place to anyone. It was clean, close to a fantastic restaurant (Felix’s) and the view was spectacular! Klaus & Eva also left us a very nice welcome package consisting of wine, beer, cheese, ham and bread which we greatly appreciated, especially after a long day of travel! Many thanks to my hosts.

The Casita de la Praia is a real gem. Very well located, quiet and easy to access. Rocked by the lapping of the ocean and the mild climate in the heart of a green screen. We loved it. Thank you for this pleasant stay!

What an amazing time we had at this fab house. The furnishings so interesting from Charlie’s many travels. We felt right at home and spent hours here between our ramblings in the incredible medina. Charles is such an attentive host with great recommendations and help at every turn. We hope to return one day to this amazing place. 🤩

All in all, a wonderful place to stay. You have absolute peace of mind, as you live secluded on a mountain. There is another accommodation in the house itself, which was not occupied during our visit. Kitchen utensils available, but you have to get everything for spices/oil. The ad says 2 single beds + sofa bed, but it is 1 double bed + sofa bed. It's not really big, but it's totally clear. If you are looking for luxury, this is the wrong place. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to be. We were there for 5 nights, absolutely recommend it

We loved our stay at the Kashbar, it’s a beautiful villa with a great pool, we even had a bonus of some stray kittens! Due to location, you do need a car, it’s not far but is secluded and not really walking distance from much, the whole team were super friendly and helpful with local recommendations, taxis, car hire, food etc, we will definitely be back, we love Essaouira X thank you 🙏🏻

Fantastic. If I could give it 6 stars I would. It’s a magnificent home, very spacious and walkable to the Medina for anything you need. The host was fantastic in helping us with some bookings. Excellent breakfast and coffee every morning.

An oasis away from the busy centre of Marrakech. The views were amazing from the gardens and pool, we loved sitting out there in the evenings. A local lady cooked for us and it was lovely, I’d recommend booking it. It was about 30/40 mins from the centre however, we didn’t have a car and were out in touch with a local taxi driver who was reliable and had a good rate. My young daughter loved the goats at the end of the garden and the tortoises roaming around. The village was peaceful and locals friendly. The local shop doesn’t sell much so I’d recommend stopping at the supermarket in the city before arriving.

An unforgettable girls’ trip in the most beautiful villa! We stayed at this stunning villa in Morocco for a girls’ trip with 13 women, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how breathtaking and secluded the property was—perfect for a relaxing and luxurious escape. Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire stay, making everything smooth and stress-free. A special shoutout to Saloua and her amazing team—they went above and beyond for us every single day and made us feel so welcome and cared for. Honestly, they couldn’t do enough for us! Every detail was thoughtful, the setting was peaceful and private, and the experience was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We made memories that will last a lifetime—and we are already planning our return. This place is a hidden gem and we can’t recommend it enough!

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

We stayed her for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. It was absolutely beautiful. A little oasis of tranquility amongst the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The staff went over and above to look after us and the breakfast was amazing.

The little extra is the welcome and kindness of Aziza who prepared us an excellent and hearty breakfast. We had the pleasure of staying at Xavier’s little paradise. If you’re looking for a place where you can find peace and be surrounded by beautiful tropical flora, book this place! The house is very comfortable, with a good mattress and pillows, and everything you need to prepare nice meals. Xavier is an excellent and extremely kind host. We’ll definitely book this place again!

We had a very pleasant stay with Flo & Manuela. The check-in and check-out times were flexible, which was a great advantage. The accommodation was very clean, and it was even cleaned halfway through our holiday. Flo was always available and very friendly. In short: we had a wonderful holiday with Flo & Manuela (and would surely recommend!)
