There is a "Ryumonbuchi Canoe Stadium" that you can walk to, so it is also a great place for practice. Nagano Kisoji | A luxurious house carefully renovated with the tastes and culture of 1931

We basically accept reservations for 2 nights or more because we want you to stay in a historic town in the mountains for a while. Located in the town next to Narai-juku, a post town on the Nakasendo Road, it is a historic town that has prospered as a producer of Kiso lacquerware since the Edo period. It was built in 1931 in a town that has been selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings and still has lacquerware shops. Limited to one group per day without meals, the entire building is available for rent. I think the charm of Hirasawa is the beauty and richness of everyday life. I would be happy if you could stay in this old town as if you were living here, reading, taking a walk, drinking local sake (sake and wine), sleeping and waking up slowly. We also post about our daily life on social media, so please take a look. There is no screen door in the old house in the valley of the mountain, so in the warm season, natural creatures may come in. The building from 1993 is not polished to the last detail. We are preparing to welcome you as cleanly as possible, but we would appreciate it if you could come with an open mind.

Enjoy a special time with your family in the tranquility of the forest. The gentle and comfortable private sauna is safe even for sauna beginners, and it slowly prepares the mind and body. Enjoy local rice and eggs without cooking or thinking, with authentic retort curry, making it easy for moms.There are also large TVs and card games in the building, which children can enjoy. And on weekdays, please stay for 2 nights. On the first day, we will unwind from the fatigue of the journey, and on the second day, we will enjoy the luxury of doing nothing.A special treat for the whole family on a weekday. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

This is a stylish log cabin located in a pristine wooded area at an altitude of 1,300 meters (4,265 feet) in Iizuna, Nagano. The home is the perfect retreat for couples, families or small groups. It features a wood burning stove, large TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, stereo, leather chairs, and full kitchen. Enjoy hiking, skiing, BBQ, golf or hot spring onsen baths in the area. The home is approximately a 20-minute drive from Nagano Station on the JR Hokuriko Shinkansen bullet train and Shinano Railway.

Good access to Shimosuwa Station! We renovated an 80-year-old Japanese house into a traditional and clean space. (New open in 2023!) You can spend a comfortable time by renting the entire building. Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.

Nagano ex-Kimono house 5 min to Zenkoji temple

The unique experience at the former Japanese traditional Kimono shop(about 97years old house). This family-friendly and the newly renovated house is located in the very traditional district and the calm but convenience area in Nagano city. The house is authentic and unique as it was a traditional Japanese clothing (Kimono) shop before. You would feel like your own home away from home. 5 minutes walk to the Zenkoji temple and 4 minutes to the bus stop for Togakushi national park.
