Pros -Hidden gem in nature -Awesome food, Kanu ji can compete in master chef -Kanu ji and his family were so welcoming and friendly took really really good care of us -So get to experience actual pahadi tradition which is not blemished by anything -You can’t go to elsewhere, you are really just in a place(Can be con too depending on your preferences) Con -The trek path is not for everyone especially at night it can be risky. Was strenuous for my parents(who are senior citizens). I would ideally deduct 0.5 star for this, but because of hospitality, food and such a nice location went with full 5 stars :)

I had a fantastic stay at Ajay's place! From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The apartment was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Ajay even provided some thoughtful local recommendations, which made exploring the area much easier. Communication was seamless throughout my stay, and I felt completely at home. Highly recommend staying with Ajay if you're in the area—he truly goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience!

I came here looking for silence, but I found something far more meaningful, peace, warmth, and a feeling of home I didn’t know I was missing. The view from the balcony, with snow-capped peaks wrapped in clouds, brought tears to my eyes. Every meal was a hug in the form of food, made with care and love. Little Shreya’s laughter was a daily joy, and the treks with Pratish to the village and sunset point were moments of deep connection with nature, with people, with myself. I spoke with villagers who welcomed us like old friends, and their humility will stay with me always. This place wrapped me in stillness and simplicity. I came to unwind, but I left feeling deeply changed. I carry back local ghee and honey, yes but more than that, I carry gratitude, calm, and memories that will stay etched in my soul. Thank you for a stay that felt like healing.

Staying with Naval Thakur was lovely. The homestay is cozy as promised. It was a fun time all around - Naval took us to Pundrik Rishi Lake, Shangarh, Twin Towers showed us local waterfalls, told us about the culture and stories. The food was amazing as well - we were able to enjoy many different local foods and learn about their cultural significance. Most things that were served were grown in the farm outside!! Deohari serves as good place to use as a home base - a cozy village with traditional Himachali architecture and style. One can travel in and around Sainj Valley using Deohari as the center point. Being part of the Great Himalayan National Park, it is lush with flora and fauna - especially a wide of variety of birds. Naval ji was able to guide us to many different natural wonders. We learnt about the local Devs and Devis - their stories, rituals, festivals etc. All in all, living with Naval ji was a very fun experience, can't wait to go back!!

I have so many reasons to say this property is truly AMAZING! It’s located in a valley called Pah, beyond Kullu. Most people might hesitate to even enter the city of Kullu, but once you cross the city, you will absolutely love the serene and quiet valley. The stay was wonderful.! The photos really don’t do it justice. every corner is beautifully done. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms even cleaner. The Beas River flows just a few steps away from the room. The food was just wow! We actually extended our stay because the food was that good. Easily the best Indian food I’ve had in the hills. They follow a farm-to-table concept, so everything tasted super fresh. A big thanks to the staff, Ankit, the manager, was always kind and helpful. Tulsi ji, the chef, cooked us some lip smacking meals. I also had the pleasure of meeting Aastha, the owner. Such a warm person. hats off to you for creating and maintaining such a beautiful space!
