Holiday rentals with lake access in Saint-Chaffrey

We had a great time with the family! The place is comfortable and as described. The setting is peaceful and the scenery is superb! Jean and Virginia are very responsive when we have questions. Special mention for the optional breakfast: delicious, complete and hearty! We recommend 100%!

Very quiet house, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Located 5 minutes walk from shops and the center of the village 10 minutes walk from the lake where you can swim. Perfect for going directly hiking in the mountains without taking the car, and not far from the other valleys of the surrounding towns. We enjoyed our holidays and spent very quiet days and nights:-)

Super responsive host, contacted in the morning for a clogged siphon, he came by in the evening. the apartment is super well arranged and equipped. Just in front of the shuttle stop, or less than a ten minute walk to the brand new PONTILLAS gondola that drops you off in the heart of the estate.

Thanks to Françoise and Jean Patrick for their flexibility and kindness. The accommodation is renovated and modern. It feels like home. It is conveniently located 20 minutes from the Vars, Risoul and Arvieux stations.

Very nice and tidy place, Cecile very responsive and helpful if we needed anything. The house is nice and tidy and feels like a warm home. The nature and surroundings are just beautiful!

We had a great stay at Laetitia's, the apartment was very clean, even bigger than in the photos! Very good welcome, available, nothing to complain about. We're happy to come back to this listing.

We spent 3 days at Chalet La Mourée. It went very well. Only small downside, one of the large bedrooms with a double bed + single bed with blinds that obscures absolutely no light so impossible to sleep after 8am.

Brian and Dorothy’s place was beyond our expectations—everything we needed was there, and it was absolutely perfect! When we were unexpectedly stranded due to an avalanche, Brian and Dorothy went above and beyond to help us. He was incredibly active and resourceful in finding us another place to stay after our checkout. Thank you so much for your kindness and support during a stressful situation. We couldn’t have asked for a better host! Thank you again 🙏🙏

Fondue maker , raclette maker, nespresso machine….. ) A large master bedroom …. A real convertible bed in the living room …. We stayed 7 nights at Ludovics place this April, 2 adults and 2 kids, and loved everything about it. Fantastic location, very close to ski slopes, shops, restaurants and a great patisserie just a few doors down which we visited every morning for freshly baked bread and treats. The apartment has more than enough space for a family of 4, our girls loved their bedroom bunk beds. Large entrance area with an abundance of storage / hangers for coats etc. The separate boot room / dryer and washing machine is also a big plus. Good size well equipped kitchen, and a great dining area with stunning views over the mountains. Also the large outdoor balcony is a bonus if you get some sunshine to enjoy. Clear and flexible check in, and Ludovic was very responsive to questions and attentive, checking in by text message multiple times during our stay. We thought the apartment was great value, and would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
