I also try to keep a good selection of wagons, pier carts, buckets, beach chairs, cornhole, dip nets, fishing tackle, and beach toys on the porch.

Such an amazing spot! Gorgeous sunsets. Great for our families Spring Break. Far away from “Spring breakers”. Josh responds to any questions or needs within 20 minutes. Huge backyard, great for cornhole & lawn games. Approx. 50 min from the beach (due to Spring Break traffic), otherwise it wouldn’t take that long. (We knew this!) The converted garage to game room was a hit with our kids (10 yo to 18 yo) We had epic ping pong & darts battles over the 3 full days that we were there. Definitely an amazing spot!

Kate’s house is beautifully decorated, in a great location, and has everything you need for a perfect beach vacation! We really enjoyed having the golf cart, all the beach gear, the Blackstone grill, and the ping pong table. The private beach access was easy to get to and felt quiet and peaceful — perfect for relaxing. Coffee, ice cream, and pizza were just a short golf cart ride away, which made quick trips really easy. The house fit six adults comfortably, and we cooked dinner in the fully stocked kitchen almost every night. It was a great spot to unwind and enjoy the beach. Kate was a great host and super responsive. We’d definitely recommend her place and plan to stay again!

Carpe Diem is a beautiful home! The inside looks exactly like the pictures. The layout was great and had everything we needed (except shampoo/conditioner but we always bring those). The walk to the beach is manageable and it’s on a quiet street so it was easy. All the beach essentials needed were also provided but if you have a wagon, that’d be helpful since I didn’t see one in the garage. The only thing I didn’t love is, like the listing mentions, there’s lots of new construction. The pictures of the outside aren’t updated - there is one new house that looks like it was just completed directly in front of Carpe Diem. It doesn’t really block the view so it’s not a big deal. There is a house under construction directly next door and we could hear saws throughout the day but it wasn’t much of a bother with the TV or music on. It looks like it’s close to being completed so it will probably be done by Spring. Amy was AWESOME - she is super responsive and friendly. Thanks Amy!!

We had the best time at Joan's Place! We brought our dog and stayed several days. It was clean, quiet and peaceful. The outdoor shower was a life saver because we were able to walk in with our dog and all three of us could get clean. There was plenty of room for all of us and the shower was hand held. We could wash the sand off of pup's belly and legs easily. The outdoor cooking area was great and there was plenty of seating. We spent most of our time out there when we weren't at the beach. The inside was comfortable. There is plenty of prep area in the kitchen and the primary bath was roomy enough. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of cool floor space for our exhausted dog. We would definitely stay at Joan's Place next time!

This place was great! House was clean and all beds were comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked which we were very pleased about since we cooked every day. We enjoyed the open floor plan and large dining table. It was so nice sitting on the deck and watching the sunset each evening. If we return, this is the first place I will check to see if it is available!
