Family-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Julien-Chapteuil

We had a lovely stay in this charming cottage. This house is particularly warm, well appointed and well equipped. The relaxation area keeps its promises with the Nordic bath under the pine trees and the sauna also in a fuste. Ghislaine and Bernard are welcoming, available and very nice. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Great tent stay at CosyCamp. The locations are large and the campsite is wooded, directly on the banks of the Loire. The campsite is quiet and pleasant, the sanitary facilities super clean. The pool, canoes and local beers complete the stay for our great happiness. Congratulations to the owners for their work and the ecological approach of the campsite.

Very good stay. The cottage was well equipped and everything was well functional. The place is very well placed in a quiet location, very close to the river "Le Lignon" Outside, in front of the cottage, the terrain is flat which allows for play activities with children. There is also a circular, wooden picnic space that allows 8 people to gather. It is also shaded. Very nice... There is an awning attached to the cottage that allows your car to be sheltered from bad weather. Cathy's place is nearby (100m) which is very convenient in case of need. Access to the village is possible in 20 minutes on foot by a quiet little road, even with a 5 year old. In Tence there are all the amenities to shop, go to restaurants, have cultural activities. Tence has a "Family" label, so there are a lot of activities offered to children.

We have just had a lovely weekend from Pantecôte in this chalet. The accommodation perfectly matches the description and the hosts are very nice and caring. We felt right at home for 3 days. The house is very well-located in the middle of nature, it is very well insulated, it feels good. Personally I loved the book area towards the window. The terrace is great, for days a little warmer:)

This is a beautiful campsite! We stayed in the Canadian tent and this is exactly the way you should camp. Comfort, nature & cosy indeed!

We had a great time at Anthony's place. Chalet offering multiple services (sauna, jacuzzi, good bedding, barbecue, ping pong, foosball, private lake, pizza oven/super sofa bread...) allowing everyone to find their own account and brighten each evening. The place is peaceful and the lake is very cute. Thanks for the croissants on Sunday mornings, local jams and juices. Recommended 😊

Géraldine handled our arrival and departure remotely by text and phone with accuracy and sympathy. The accommodation is facing the lake, magnificent view, in a beautiful quiet and very peaceful village. Everything was perfect, I would recommend it.

You feel really good at Marie Pierre's, a house that breathes well-being, on the banks of the Loire and a 3-minute walk from the village. The evening walk along the Loire with the dogs is enjoyable. The house is cool, everything is there, nothing is missing to feel right at home :) Marie Pierre is super responsive and gives good advice. Around it there are plenty of walks to do, waterfalls, lakes, troglodyte village, and of course the Puy which is barely a few km by car. In short, a perfect stay. We'll be back for sure. You can rent without a second thought:)

We had a great weekend at Sophie's place. A pretty buron in the middle of nature and quiet, what could be better for a total change of scenery! Of course, the Lozère is a beautiful place and we have taken in full the view! Multiple paths accessible from the buron. We did road biking and it was great to be in this place (quiet and car-free😁). As for Sophie, she was welcoming and warm! Great communication! We'll be back as soon as we get a chance!

We had a great weekend at Christine's place. The house is spacious, clean and perfectly equipped to offer all the necessary comfort. The game room is a real asset, especially with children, as is the proximity to the river. Access to the house is easy. A big thank you to Christine for her kindness, availability and responsiveness. We highly recommend Christine's accommodation and hope to return.

Ideal for a moment of relaxation, disconnected from the world, in the middle of nature! Here the goal (achieved!) was to spend time with the family and combine hiking with board games. We recharged our batteries while discovering the surroundings: the medieval village of Chalencon, the lava flow of Bourianne, a short tour of Retournac, a mountain bike ride to the Pont du Diable, etc. Marie and Laurent are great hosts! They give plenty of advice on hikes in the surroundings, suggest restaurants, and offer places to discover. They are available, adorable, and super responsive. Their cottage is perfectly well-equipped. The terrace is ideal for a little rest. Deckchairs and wooden table with a great view of the horizon. Breakfast in the sun and afternoon rest in the shade... what more could you ask for?? Oh yes, a bonus for the children's happiness: animals that walk all around the cottage! In short, no more suspense... we recommend it!!!!!!

Ideally located accommodation in this small village of Haute-Loire, lovers of tranquility and stone will find their pleasures!!

We spent a week with three families (6 children), and it was wonderful! The pool, the nature, the little village of St. Pierreville 8 km away (good for cycling, bakery and delicatessen very good!). The house is exactly as in the photos, the kitchen has everything you need. We'll be back!

In a beautiful and neat setting, with a breathtaking view, we received an excellent welcome from our hosts with whom we had interesting exchanges about the region and its activities. The accommodation, cozy and very comfortable, was very well equipped, very clean and quiet. Daniel very kindly made his garage available to us to store our bikes. We loved the ideal location to radiate on the dolce via.
