Barn holiday rentals in Saint Lawrence River

Our second time staying at this beautiful property. The place is stunning, and Marcy and Wade are the consummate hosts. You'll be greeted by fresh-baked bread and a kitchenette filled with countless locally made treats. The level of hospitality (and the quality of the accommodations) are far beyond anything we have ever experienced at an AirBNB. Do yourself a favor and book a stay here -- and add on extra days! A spectacular home with wonderful hosts in a beautiful area, it simply can't be beat.

Always love our stays here!! Beautiful place. It's like staying in a family's cabins and campspot. BATHTUB!!! And the pizza and kitchen are amazing. LOVE this place!

Definitely would stay here again. Nice short drive to anywhere we wanted to go. The place is in great shape with a very nice layout. The owners live next door and are helpful and friendly. When you walk in you can tell it’s not just a rental, it’s a home.

We had a great time at the yurt. Would definitely stay again. The view is gorgeous and the yurt is so cozy.

Nina’s place is exactly as pictured and described. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is extremely well equipped and the bathrooms are spotless. Nina and her husband live next-door but are very unobtrusive and welcoming. I spent five nights in their Airbnb and was extremely comfortable and happy.

We had a wonderful time staying here. Very quiet, beautiful light at dawn and dusk with open views. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen is really easy to cook in. We felt right at home!

Ideal space for a mini writing retreat. Super simple and sparse, with a space heater and lots of blankets to keep warm whilst sleeping! And a curious squirrel at the window, to keep me company. There's an adjacent field on the property for star gazing.

Place was perfect the pictures did not do this home justice it is so beautiful and a sense of comfort fills you as your sitting the Sundance lodge, 10/10 will be looking to stay here again.

The Barn is an absolute gem! We only had one night, but it was perfect. We sat outside at the Lobster pound and got totally frozen. The wind was fierce. But the hot tub and woodstove back at the Barn were just the right thing for after dinner. Going to sleep with the sound of the sea was a joy. We also really liked walking on the beach, looking for cool rocks, and the views from under the trees in the yard by the house. Peaceful and interesting.

Beautiful place! Quiet, serene and a short drive to restaurants and wineries. The place was perfect for a few days of writing and taking in the valley. Adam was very responsive to messages and had a fire going for when I arrived. I'll definitely be back!

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. The barn itself was beautifully done—cozy, stylish, and spotless. You can tell a lot of care went into making it a special place to stay. The surroundings were just as stunning—peaceful, scenic, and full of character. It was the kind of spot that makes you instantly feel relaxed. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything. We truly fell in love with the place and the area, and we’ll definitely be back!

What a gorgeous spot! Tucked in the back, the remodeled barn was very well built, spacious and cozy. Even better than the pictures could show. Gardens were in full bloom with gentle rolling river down below, so peaceful ! Hosts were down to earth and very helpful. Would definitely go back!!

Bird's place was an absolute dream. My friend and I stayed for 2 nights to get a brief respite from our nursing jobs. The apartment is a work of art, from the large windows, to the bright colors, to the tiny details, the unusual artwork... I could go on at length! It's the kind of place that you don't even want to leave, because it is just so relaxing. The private screened-in porch was amazing at night. Bird herself was so friendly and sweet, and made sure that we knew how to get to the heron rookery (literally less than a 5min walk into her backyard!)... Damariscotta is under a 10min drive, and had some great dinner options. We took the puffin cruise out of New Harbor, and that was also less than 20mins away. So, we got to feel like we were out in the country, but weren't too far from things to do.

You know it’s a lovely space when we come multiple years to stay! Amy is the nicest- a fantastic host with great recommendations for the area. The apartment is clean and spacious and full of rustic charm. Our kids adored the ducks they have on the property and the yard is wonderfully inviting! Can’t wait to come back next year 😃

We stayed for 3 months during the winter for Snowboarding season at Stowe and had an amazing time. The level of cozy is beyond words, especially while it snows. The barn has absolutely everything one needs + more. Don’t be fooled by the distance to Stowe and the ski resort! Yes, it’s not 10 mins, BUT it’s so worth it. The drive is amazing and we actually always looked forward to it and our stops at Stowe Bee and Woodland for pre and post-riding snacks. So yeah, it’s a good drive. The neighborhood is peaceful with 3 great breweries nearby, a Black Cap coffee shop location, amazing Pizza, and outstanding Thai food right down the street. 100% recommended!

This trip, I spent a week with Journey & Greg. They are wonderful people & great hosts, who happily share their homestead in a quiet neighborhood. They provide everything you need for comfort and more. I have stayed with them before & look forward to staying again.

All the previous reviews indicated we would love this location, the setting, the caring of the host....we were inspired to join Airbnb to just be able to stay here!!! The beauty of the surroundings is remarkable and we admire the care taken to keep it in its refined natural state. We are so thankful we took the description and reviews to heart! We now have another great Maine memory!

I would highly recommend this location and booking with Kara! She was a great host who was very responsive and very accommodating. The place was very clean and was exactly as advertised. It was even decorated for the holidays which game it an at home-like feel. It was a great location for a large group with a large couch in the living room and a large dining table which could accommodate everyone in the group. If I’m ever looking in the area again, I would definitely go back!

Jennifer was so helpful and replied back quickly. we were driving up from VA so our arrival time was unknown (though after 3pm). she had lights on for us. it was extremely easy to get into. while there wasn’t a tv, we had our ipad and honestly weren’t in the space too long. We would stay again. Location was great

Tom and Nori's house was exactly as advertised and more impressive than what I expected from the photos. The location is excellent and is within walking distance of the North Conway town center and is very close to Cranmore. It was a good choice for our stay as we needed 5 bedrooms, and the two kitchens were very useful for cooking for our large group. The dining room size and two living rooms were also great to have available. Although we were unable to use it during the winter, there is a large backyard yard, which would be great for summer visits. Tom was very communicative and helpful during our stay which made everything seamless. I would definitely stay again.
