Family-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Maixant

Myself and 7 friends spend 3 nights here and we had the most incredible stay. It is rare to book a unit where there are no bad bedrooms, but all 5 bedrooms in this unit were perfection! Comfortable beds, strong air conditioning, and full private bathrooms in each bedroom. The kitchen and living room spaces were equally as great, and the hot tub was the cherry on top! We also loved the location right next to the park and walking distance from all the city's main attractions.

Stephane and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They gave us great local recommendations, organised a personal winery tour for us and booked in a massage. The location is beautiful, peaceful setting and the pool was fantastic. We booked to have breakfast one morning - it was stunning. Beautiful presentation and lovely food. We highly recommend staying here - truley relaxing.

We had a fantastic weekend! This loft is a haven of peace. It is spacious, modern and decorated with taste. We loved enjoying the hot tub, a real moment of relaxation. Olivier and that woman were very responsive and super kind. Frankly, no complaints, I recommend it.

The house was in a perfect location, it was quiet but close to everything. It was clean and well equipped. Marine was super responsive and easy to work with.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Clos Castaing. Kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing on the Dordogne. Cycling and visiting local vineyards and St Emilion. The house is full of character, spacious and a perfect, tranquil base.

Everything is perfect, the welcome, the chalet (incredible cleanliness, amenities, location, etc.) nothing is missing, everything is at the top level! I highly recommend Pascale's accommodation, everything is perfect, the location, the equipment, the environment (the countryside in the city!), the shops nearby not to mention the welcome which is great! For sure we will come back!

Family reunions in this large cottage for 12 people. It offers very good value for money because it is very well arranged, very clean and quiet in a very beautiful garden on the ground floor. The owners are on the other side of the cottage, discreet but also know how to help when we ask them. Very good welcome and welcome gifts very appreciated. We took advantage of Bazas (10 min), La Réole (25 min) and Lake Clarens (25 min) for swimming with the children. We strongly recommend this cottage.

We had a great stay. The air conditioning and the pool were really a plus given the 37 degrees ambient. We only regretted that our host did not offer us a tour of his cellars, we would have been very interested in a wine tasting. Next time, we'll make sure to get it right, because we really want to go back.

We spent 4 very pleasant days. The cottage is well located, you can park in front of it. It is in the countryside and the environment is very relaxing. A terrace where we had lunch, a modern kitchen with all the necessary equipment and a top bathroom. Excellent bedding and extremely clean! We were very well received and if the opportunity arises we will come back! We recommend this cottage for people who love nature and tranquility

Attended a wedding at the nearby castle. This was the perfect location (15/20min walk). The bed and couch bed are very comfortable and there's a lovely garden!

Ingenious apartment with extremely warm hosts. The absolute highlight is the great pool with a fantastic view of the valley! Great base for excursions!

The only small downside would be the staircase to go upstairs which is a little rough but otherwise the house is functional, clean and the outside is just great. No neighbors or noise. There is a good chance that I will rent again when we return to the area.

Philippe is a very welcoming and very pleasant host. The house is particularly beautiful and well maintained. The setting is superb! The views are breathtaking. The accommodation is very well arranged and very clean. Nothing is missing, generosity is felt. Comfort and quality are waiting for you. The presence of Kiwi is a real pleasure for cat lovers. 😉

My month-long stay went very well. Dominique was kind enough to print a document for me one day to save me from looking for a place to do it. The house was a very nice little cozy nest. I was also able to enjoy the pool on very hot days...

We had a great stay at the Maison des Tilleuls. Cécile is very welcoming and we immediately felt at home. The house is nice with a large living room, which is nice because we were 3 couples. The garden is huge and very pretty. It's a haven of peace. It is fenced, which is appreciable with dogs. Several places with tables and garden furniture. Gourmet basket on arrival.
