Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Marcel-d'Ardèche

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte confortable, super complet question équipement et très soigné. Le jacuzzi est un grand plus ainsi que le jardin parfaitement clôturé ou notre petite chienne a pu courir en toute liberté. Nous avons pu faire des promenades à 2 minutes du gîte entre les champs de lavande et les vignes dans la belle nature Ardéchoise. Merci Christine pour ce merveilleux endroit et pour ta disponibilité ! Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine!

C18 mill of great charm, surrounded by lovely garden, all restored and brought to life by Isabelle. Utterly peaceful. Within 10 minutes' drive from unspoilt village with excellent food shopping to provide for delicious meals in the garden, serenaded by nightingale and turtle dove. Bats and tuneful frogs in the evenings. Beautiful walks from the door along dusty lanes with verges full of wild flowers. Avignon, Orange, Glanum, Nimes, Camargue all within driveable distance. Isabelle could not have been more friendly and welcoming and we hope to visit again one day.

We truly enjoyed our stay, a perfect location to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. It was a nice surprise to find so many animals: a horse, super cute dogs and a cat. The garden is beautiful, you can walk around, go down to the river, enjoy quietness and pure nature all around. The road to the location is also very nice - like a hidden path through nature. It’s definitely a place to come back to, with an amazing energy. Even two nights restore you fully and feels like you stayed much longer than this. Not to mention a stylish and tastefully decorated house. You can find all you need. Amazing both side terraces - to enjoy a morning sun and a sunset.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end dans le logement impeccable loué par Malo et Nico. Le lieu est très calme . L’ appartement est très agréable et très propre. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et de bons conseils. On recommande vivement.

Caroline war ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Bei Fragen war sie immer hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Der Pool ist wirklich sehr groß und die Aussicht ist toll. Auch die Terrasse ist wunderschön und es gibt einen großen Grill. Man kann dort sehr gut abschalten und sich entspannen. Das Haus ist mit einem Auto etwas schwer erreichbar, weil die letzten 500 Meter über eine unbefestigte Straße führen. Ich empfehle ein SUV. Wir waren 7 Personen und hatten viel Platz, da der Wohnraum und die Küche sehr groß sind. Alles in allem kann ich die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Danke!

This old converted water mill makes a lovely family house, perfect for all generations. It is isolated (no need to worry about children screaming in the swimming pool) and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with signed hiking trails in all directions. You can walk to the very attractive village of Lussan for an ice cream or drink, (but any sort of food shopping does mean a car journey.) Our group comprised grandparents, parents and three children (aged 3 to 8). The children loved the pool, the trampoline and the bikes. The adults enjoyed boules and molkii. (There's also table tennis and lots of board games.) Vincent, the owner, lives close by and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently he came round to deal with any little problems.

Wir haben zu viert (mit zwei Kindern) auf der Durchreise eine Nacht in Philippes Appartment verbracht. Es war alles wie beschrieben und wir konnten uns sehr gut für die Weiterfahrt erholen.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans l'appartement de Catherine. Idéal pour un séjour au calme. Catherine est une hôte se montrant disponible.

Logement impeccable, agréable, très bien décoré. Les hôtes sont très réactifs, de bons conseils. Je conseille vivement ce logement, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the beautiful main village square, right in the centre of Uzès. It was peaceful, comfortable and the apartment was bright and cozy. It had a little outdoor balcony which was a nice bonus. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity of staying in this delightful place and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Superbe roulotte dans un environnement nature, ressourçant et apaisant avec le chant des oiseaux. Des jeux extérieurs pour les enfants sont aussi bien appréciables pour ces derniers. Un accueil agréable également. Une belle parenthèse en famille, on recommande +++

Magnifique appartement décoré avec goût et récemment rénové (air conditionné dans les chambres ce qui ajoute un vrai plus) Appartement idéalement situé au milieu de la campagne et des cigales. Le calme absolu. Magnifique piscine qu’on a pu utiliser quand nous le souhaitions. Un merci tout particulier à Bruno pour ses nombreux conseils :) A très bientôt

Annick is a very kind and generous host. You feel right at home in the authentic french farmhouse. Annick kindly shared some of her home grown cherries and apricots which were delicious. The pool was fantastic with beautiful views across lavender and vineyards. Would highly recommend you experience a stay in this lovely accommodation

Nous avons passé une nuit en famille chez Valérie, nous n’étions que de passage. La maison est top, propre, fonctionnelle ! Valérie nous a très bien accueillis, avec sympathie. Pourquoi pas revenir et y rester plus longtemps la prochaine fois !

Depuis l'accueil jusqu'au départ tout a été parfait pour ce séjour de qualité dans un cadre paisible. Un vrai Week end comme on les aime !

Tolle Unterkunft und für die Kinder ist der große Pool das Highlight gewesen. Wir haben die Zeit und die Ruhe genossen und ein paar schöne Ausflüge unternommen. Die Kommunikation lief super, schnell und reibungslos. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage.

We hebben een super fijne week gehad in dit prachtige vakantiehuis. We werden welkom geheten door de eigenaren met de kachel al aan en wat lekkers op tafel. De eigenaren wonen naast het vakantieverblijf en ze geven je een warm welkom. Ook tijdens ons verblijf was er vriendelijk contact. Het huis is prachtig ingericht met veel details. Echt een droomhuis met een grote tuin en uitzicht. Het is heel rustig gelegen en je voelt je er echt thuis. Het dorpje Labeaume kun je te voet bezoeken, is een mooie wandeling vanuit het huis. We zijn ook een dag naar Avignon geweest, wel een eindje rijden, maar de moeite waard. Het klimpark Indy Park is ook aanrader. De bakker en een kleine supermarkt zitten dichtbij, in Ruoms vind je een grote supermarkt. Er is genoeg te doen in de omgeving. Lieve Laure en Benoït, dank voor de super fijne week die we in jullie vakantiehuis mochten doorbrengen!

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in het huis van Yves. Het is een geweldig stukje paradijs. Mooi en groot zwembad, aan de mooie rivier de Cèze en een sfeervol ingericht huis zorgden voor een fijne vakantie met onze vrienden. De jeu de boules baan maakte het helemaal af! Wij werden ook heel goed ontvangen. Kortom een aanrader!

un magnifique week-end à 8 adultes le temps de retrouvailles annuelles. un très beau jardin extérieur avec vue sur les champs de lavande. tout commence par un accueil chaleureux des propriétaires (qui habitent sur place mais qui sont très discrets!). une maison magnifique et très bien équipée, autant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur ! une piscine incroyable et des activités pétanque molky volley qui vous permettent de rester tout le week-end au milieu de la verdure. un très bon souvenirs merci à Myriam et Pascal !
