Great place to stay and amazing views over the cliffs. Interesting surroundings which Carol told us about. Very comfortable. Peaceful surroundings. Only minor negative is that it is at the far end of the island. Carol was very welcoming and interesting to chat to.

We stayed at Cecily’s place for a week. She met us on the drive and showed us around. Everything we needed was available in the property. The view was beautiful and we felt instantly relaxed. Cecily was really helpful and responded quickly to our questions. The property is well placed for the ferry to the mainland but also within easy driving distance of all the attractions, coastal walks and ferries to other islands. We spent long days out and it was always a pleasure to come back to the property in the evening to relax.

The Legion is a wonderful place to stay. It is spacious, very well equipped, comfortable, warm and with good quality linen, fixtures and fittings. It's location is lovely being able to sit outside and admire the view across the bay. The local shop has an amazing variety of products and can provide virtually everything you could possibly need. Angela is an amazing host, helpful, responsive, friendly and available should you have a query. We would definitely stay here again if we revisit Orkney. One of the best Airbnb accommodation we have used (and there have been a lot!).

Nice place, Great view across the bay, Great host, Place was very clean and tidy and would certainly recommend. Plenty of parking space. We certainly had a lovely week at this property.
