House holiday rentals in Saint-Yrieix-sur-Charente

Nous sommes venu.e.s à 7 pour le festival de la bd 2025. Nous avons été reçu.e.s par un accueil amical et sympathique qui nous a tout de suite mis à l'aise. Logement est propre et rangé, les éléments mis à dispositions sont bien indiqués et adaptés (serviette, cuisine, lave-vaisselle etc). Le cadre est calme et paisible, à moins de 10min à pied de l'arrêt de bus. Merci pour votre bienveillance !

This was a lovely place to stay, as detailed in the description. We stayed for a week and the kids loved having a pool. The owners dog does roam in the garden, which our kids were a bit afraid of but the owners did try to call her back in. The other thing to note is that the property is very close to a train line so you hear the trains. We really enjoyed our stay with David and Corinne, they were on hand when we needed to ask things but even when they use their garden you don’t feel like they are intruding. We would definitely stay again.

Fijne rustige vakantie gehad met onze drie kinderen (9, 7 en 5). Zwembad is enorme meerwaarde en goed onderhouden. Volledig uitgeruste woning, keukenmateriaal ook ruim (al hebben enkele pannen geen rechte bodem hetgeen onhandig is bij inductie). Decoratie van de woning bijzonder, maar ietwat "overshooting" in een vakantieverblijf. Wat last van mieren in huis. Eigenares woont in een afgesloten deel van de woning en ook al blijft ze zeker op de achtergrond, er is wel enige controle voelbaar. Huis warmt relatief makkelijk op (kan wat beperkt worden met sluiten van houten klapdeurtjes), maar kan terug gekoeld worden bij koudere nachten. Er is airco aanwezig, maar wordt niet aangeboden (besparingen). Warm water niet eindeloos, opgepast als je een warm bad neemt en daarna nog iemand wil douchen. Niet ontzettend veel activiteiten (met kinderen) in de omgeving, behalve kajak verhuur en accro park. Maar uiteindelijk is het zwembad toch de beste activiteit.

An absolutely stunning Airbnb, Debbie & Mike were amazing hosts! we weren’t lucky with the weather, so we couldn’t make use of the lovely pool and outdoor dining area. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. Thank you!

Le logement est d'une grande propreté, très fonctionnel et confortable muni d'un vrai coin salon où nous avons pu nous retrouver à 8 et, ce qui a été très agréable et surtout très pratique, 4 chambres meublées à l'identique et équipées d'une salle d'eau et de toilettes chacune. Un vrai plus ! Un seul bémol : le coin cuisine, même si fonctionnel et très bien équipé, est un peu trop petit. De plus, les propriétaires sont charmants et accueillants ! Bref, une adresse à conserver...

Anthony est très accueillant, disponible pour ses Hôtes, ce fut un très bon wk pour nous, je conseille à 100% Se sera avec grand plaisir d'y retourner.

We really liked Thomas’ place. The pool is much better than the photos look and the pool was very clean. A great little seating area under a canopy and plenty of sun loungers. Rarely used by anyone else! Good location for road cycling (road cyclists from UK will find the roads undulating and open). Really nice peaceful setting. Really quiet. WiFi good enough to do video calls to work from the house.

We had a great stay. Christie and Jean-Marc are very friendly, helpful and hospitable, they made us feel at home straight away. The gite has all the comforts, is very clean and well equipped. Being able to use the nice size pool is a plus. Great location close to all amenities and a beautiful chateau. We will be back.

Je recommande sans hésitée, Astrid es humaine et ça ne court pas les rues. Une femme présente au moindre problème. Très agréable, le coin étais si calme que j'ai jamais autant bien dormi. La maison si propre que je n'avais pas envie de la salir. je me suis sentie comme chez moi, je n'avais plus envie dans partie. il y avais tout ce dont on a besoin dans une maison, même plus qu'on es besoin. Merci encore milles fois. a très vite.

Troisième fois que nous réservons le logement et toujours aussi pratique ! Je recommande fortement

Des hôtes (Jean-Gabriel et son épouse) charmants et très accommodants. Un logement parfait, correspondant en tout point a la description, très propre (logement visiblement neuf) et parfaitement équipé, une literie au top, climatisation individuelle dans chaque chambre (chaque chamvbre ayant sa salle de bain privative) et dans le salon/salle a manger, une très belle terrasse. Vous n'avez rien besoin d'ammener avec vous, car vous y trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin...la gentillesse des hôtes en cadeau ! Franchement, il fait partie du trio de tête des logements AirBnB que j'ai pu faire,....et j'en ai fait "quelques uns".... Merci à vous deux 👍

Emplacement parfait pour visiter Angoulême et sa région. Magnifique petite maison de caractère dans résidence sécurisé. Je recommande vivement.

Que dire de plus que exceptionnelle ? Nous reviendrons très vite et pour plus longtemps. Service impeccable, communication simple, rapide et disponible. Nous nous sentons tellement bien dans ce logement ! Meilleure logement proche d'Angoulême qu'on a pu essayer.

Belle et charmante maison sur trois niveaux avec un joli petit jardin pour profiter de l’extérieur. La maison était très propre et bien équipée. Environnement très calme et accès rapide au centre-ville. Merci Christophe pour l’accueil.

Jane was the best, most helpful and most reliable host I have ever encountered. She helped me retrieve left behind luggage by spending hours on the phone with DHL and the car rental office where my luggage was left. Jane’s property is in a stunning location, surrounded by wheat and sunflower fields and as I am an artist it was perfect. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, decorated with excellent taste and thought to every detail. It is located about 25 minutes from Angoulême, a small city with excellent restaurants and shops. It is also in easy access to many small and pretty villages like Auberterre Sur Dronne. I highly recommend staying at Jane’s in Champagne-Vigny. I highly recommend this property

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Paisible, bien conçu, bien aménagé, à l'ambiance élégante et raffinée, ce logement offre les conditions idéales pour passer un agréable séjour en toute quiétude. Constance est une hôte disponible et agréable. Adresse à retenir pour un prochain séjour.

Nous avons passé un bon week-end. Le logement impeccable, et conforme à la description. Très bon accueil. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Une adresse que nous retiendrons pour des prochaines fois.

Wir hatten für 9 Nächte Hermines Haus gebucht, wurden sehr, sehr freundlichen von der Co-Gastgeberin Mélanie empfangen, die uns während unseres kompletten Aufenthalts sehr nett persönlich bzw. telefonisch betreut hat bei allen Fragen. Das Haus ist sehr schön, gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht. Für uns war die Lage ideal, denn wir mögen Ruhe und Zurückgezogenheit. Die umliegenden Ortschaften sind sehr klein und beschaulich, man kann aber in der Nähe einkaufen. Wir haben einige Radtouren unternommen, die Wege sind gut ausgebaut. Angoulème hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt und eine perfekte Betreuung! Merci beaucoup à Mélanie! Achtung: Die Treppe ins Obergeschoss ist wunderschön aber nicht geeignet für Menschen, die nicht gut zu Fuß sind. Man darf sie nicht mit Schuhen betreten, sie hat keinen Handlauf und ist sehr unregelmäßig und glatt. Für uns war das aber kein Problem.

logement conforme à la description , mais mobilier un peu d'une autre époque , le logement est adapté à une famille de 4 personnes sans problème , au calme .

Le séjour chez Stéphanie s’est parfaitement déroulé. Vous y trouverez tout le confort nécessaire, et même davantage. Le logement est bien équipé, la terrasse avec barbecue ainsi que le jardin calme offrent un véritable moment de détente, le tout en plein centre-ville.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce logement dans lequel nous avons été bien accueilli. Le linge de lit est très propre et de qualité ainsi que les matelas. Logement très spacieux, et cuisine très bien équipé. Nous recommandons ce logement et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
