Great modern house with all the comforts. It seemed difficult to find in advance, but was very easy to find afterwards. Pool not used (too cold). The host had prepared delicious breakfast and dinner (for a fee). The horses in the meadow around the house as well as the tranquility and the view the valley in amazing. Everything fenced for the dog. Sitting outside under the canopy with a blanket with welcome drink and snack :D We have plans to go in November instead of 2 nights, a week...

A little corner of heaven to discover in a very beautiful region. The accommodation is very welcoming and comfortable, there are many advantages: impeccable bedding, a really functional kitchen, a superb quiet garden where you can recharge, an accessible open-air swimming pool and above all quality hosts, very welcoming and enthusiastic to give useful advice on this very beautiful region, passionate about history and very attentive. An ideal setting for a successful vacation.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes. The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

Dear Lisa, We liked everything about your house, especially your hospitality and kindness. The colleagues were welcomed with a pack of water, coffee tea and a jar of jam, sugar, bread, chocolate... All recommendations are very useful, especialy kind recommendations for shops and a butcher shop nearby. All communication during the stay was fast and clear, and everything was resolved quickly with the hostess of the house. The house is spacious and clean, tidy and well equipped. We had a great weekend at Margaux's place. The accommodation is perfectly in line with the photos: clean, well maintained and very pleasant to stay in. The spa, as well as the charming cabin that houses it, is of high quality and invites you to relax. The garden, nicely landscaped and neat, is a real little haven of peace... and what a pleasure to see the little chickens frolic there freely! Margaux and her spouse are caring hosts, responsive and available. Communication was smooth from start to finish. The bed is very comfortable and the master suite is simply superb. Small downside: the proximity to a road brings a little noise, but it does not spoil the experience, as the place is pleasant. We'll be happy to go back! Charlene offers a very nice and charming accommodation. It's perfectly clean. Communication with Charlene is very simple and easy, she is a host who cares about her guests feeling good and enjoying their stay. The village of Puy-l'Évêque is also extremely charming. We had a great stay.

Very clean space Beatrice is very nice

Great place for exploring the Dordogne countryside and surrounding areas. The house with a nice outdoor terrace with dining table and seating allowing us to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area and to listen to the birdsong. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped and we lacked for nothing. We booked very late and Pauline was very helpful and accommodating of our requirements, and the communication was excellent with lots of suggestions of things to do and places to go.

Firstly the hosts were responsive from the moment we booked to right through to check out. It helps they live on-site so when we had questions/issued Tas was with us instantly. The house has an incredible wow factor, and the heated pool and outside setting was to die for. Perfect for a general pool party / bbq party. What we especially liked as 3 couples with babies and toddlers, Tas has a “just like home approach” meaning we were not at all worried about the kids. The house is well equipped and had 3 high chairs and cots (with matresses). The bedrooms are wonderful and beds very comfortable, for an old house even the shower pressure was good. This region is rural so with water nearby do expect the usual flies/bugs/mozzie. That said, I was not biten all week and there were ample citronella aids (raid) left in kitchen for us along with a welcome hamper. Hosts are English and cater for a UK audience very well. Noise was never a problem and we felt at ease al week.

We had a great stay in this very well-equipped accommodation, offering modern comfort while retaining the charm of the authentic. Laurence and her partner are super welcoming, available and responsive. The place is ideal if you are looking for tranquility. We'll come back

Amazing location with a spectacular view. Very spacious but the bedroom layout was not favourable for the second couple. Stairs could be difficult for people with limited mobility

We had a great stay at the Écolieu du Turc. The accommodation was fully functional and well-equipped, with a beautiful bright living room and comfortable living rooms. The hosts were very welcoming and we had a good exchange. The setting is relaxing and pleasant, and the pool was very enjoyable in the heat. I totally recommend it.

If you’re looking for peace, solitude, beauty & nature then look no further than Vincent’s wonderful home , the views from the pool are spectacular, and the Gite itself is simply perfect, everything is finished to an impeccably high standard , Vincent is the perfect host , offering help when needed , he made us feel totally at ease from the moment we arrived but, gave us absolute privacy , we will definitely return & have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful place to others .
