Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Salmon River

Staying at Cindy’s place was the BEST! We have been to McCall 5-6 times over the last 4 years, but Cindy’s has been the best so far. You can tell that she takes pride in her place! One thing I loved: labeled everything. All light switches, etc had labels, which was nice. Made it so easy. She has bikes that your family can use and helmets, which is a nice touch. We brought our own, but still, so nice! She’s right now the road from the yummy coffee shop, so that’s fun! It’s a little bike ride to the beach, but a much longer walk. (We knew this, so why we brought our bikes) there is a heated bathroom floor. Epic. She has pots and pans galore! Large fridge! Amazing stove! We were able to use their prime video, not sure if it was intentional but it was awesome! The jacuzzi was awesome as well. I loved that there was 2 bathrooms and laundry area. One weird thing: the roof creaks or something at night (at least over the master). Didn’t bother us much. This place was the BEST!

Kristin’s house was great! It was clean, comfortable, had all amenities listed and more. This house has a great backyard that was relaxing to sit in and there was also a little fire pit which was awesome. Check in was easy and Kristin was very communicative which I appreciated. Would highly recommend booking this home, we will definitely re-book when we visit this town again.

The house was so comfortable. It was a quiet neighborhood with lots of places to walk our dog but close enough to town that we walked to dinner and back each night and walked into town for shopping and lunch, etc. The digital lock worked perfectly and made it easy for everyone to have access to the house. The house was very clean and the towels and sheets were soft and in great condition. The TV cable worked easily and the kitchen was well stocked. I would stay here again and plan to do so! Everything was as advertised and everything worked perfectly.

We've had repeat stays in one of Lindsey's other properties in Challis, Calamity Jane's Hideaway (which we loved, but it was booked this time), and this spot turned out to be even better! The house was welcoming, comfortable, very clean, and well stocked with everything needed to make us feel right at home. Lots of upgrades in this house, too! Although we didn't make a fire, we enjoyed sitting outside around the fire pit, listening to the creek. Used the BBQ a couple times. The house has tons of board games available. The "somewhat" close town of Stanley has a fantastic bakery and great restaurants. Don't hesitate to book this house - we'd go back in a heartbeat! It's a great place to stay in Challis. Lindsey & Rob are also the perfect hosts - very welcoming and responsive.

Fantastic property. One of the best ABB experiences we have had in a while. Amazing hosts who are responsive, flexible, and clearly care about providing a 5 star experience. Easy checking in and lots of privacy. So much beauty to enjoy. Trails lead from the property up ti the infamous railroad ridge, lots of SXS trails to ride on. Very convenient to food and fuel. Rivera and streams within walking distance. Amenities were plentiful as well. Including a recreation room!! Can’t wait to come back next year.

Cabin was an excellent stay. Had everything I needed and then some. Heaters worked well for the cold nights. Location was excellent, within walking distance (even for toddlers) to restaurants, shopping, and lake. It was nice having Wi-Fi and TV after a long day exploring. And the view of the lake from the living room was beautiful. Kitchen had everything we needed, though we mostly went out to eat. Nice quiet location. I'll be completely honest, you can't beat a place like this, but if you're bringing little ones like I did, I suggest bringing a baby gate for the stairs. They are quite steep. And of course, josh was excellent. Answered all my questions and even gave recommendations, as this was my first time in McCall. 5 stars for this place.

My daughter and I enjoyed our week in this charming house! The whole place is well-maintained and clean. It was conveniently located for our needs, which was initially why we booked this place. It was so much more than convenient! We were easily able to walk to good food and cute shops. We loved the peaceful backyard. I hope we are able to come back!

The host was kind, proactive with her instructions/assistance. She was super responsive. The BNB was clean, decorated nicely, and very comfortable.

We had a restful night in Bungalow 2 and thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic sunset from the pool. The mint field behind the property smelled wonderful. Everything we needed was there.

Beautiful, rural location along the river. The fresh flowers in the room were so nice! It was a lovely place to relax out in the nice patio and great birding. The room was simple, bed comfortable and adequate kitchen. Williams Lake is close by and is a nice small lake to paddle board on. Goldbug trailhead is a 40 min drive but the hot springs are so worth it.

This was a great unit, felt right at home immediately and was very clean. Any questions I had, host responded immediately and was helpful.

Such a great place to stay. So helpful when I needed a few extra things to make our trip amazing. The outside fireplace made for a great nighttime event. Would Definitely stay here again!

Perfect location on the edge of town, lots of privacy but close to store, gas, cafes. Picture-postcard country setting, modern amenities wrapped in a classy barn house design. Would definitely stay her again, great value, location and comfort.

Amazing location!! The place was a bit small for a longer term stay but it’s really cute and worked out just fine for our 6 weeks. You can’t beat the location to the hospital (where I was working), downtown, and the trails. We really enjoyed staying here and Allison was always very helpful!

We had a fantastic stay! The cabin was incredibly clean, very comfortable, and the porch was wonderful. The host welcomed us in and we felt right at home. Would absolutely stay again!

Ragan’s place on the river was to die for! It actually exceeded our expectations. We stayed in Riggins the first week of June so the weather was perfect! First thing in the morning would be a cool brisk air on the deck and around 70 rest of the day. We couldn’t have asked for better weather for all our hiking and exploring. Early June meant high waters and cold water but that didn’t stop us from rafting. Which we highly recommend! Ragan was the best host we have ever had! She was always happy to answer any of our questions prepping for the trip and during our stay. Head out on Salmon river Road, right on French Creek and right on Warren Wagon Road for a scenic getaway! It took us about 4 hours but led to a beautiful lake and then McCall. We were told by a local that this trip and around Secesh Summit are your best chance at seeing big game! We are already planning our next trip!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Conner, MT. The view from the property was truly breathtaking—perfect for relaxing mornings and peaceful evenings. The cabin itself was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable 5-day stay. Lynda was incredibly sweet and attentive. She was close by and quick to respond to any questions or needs we had, which made the whole experience feel seamless and welcoming. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature and hosted by someone who truly cares, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!

This cabin is so well thought out and is absolutely beautiful! The location is very peaceful and private yet close enough to access all the amenities nature and town has to offer. We had a lovely stay!

We enjoyed staying at the cabin all the time especially near by the fireplace. Very peaceful surroundings. Deers were coming a few times to property and my kids were so excited to them being that close. Thankful to the host that she let us stay with my whole family.

Loved every single thing about the cabin! Wish I would have known how amazing it was going to be because I would have made our stay longer. If you are visiting Challis or the surrounding area, this is the best place to stay. We will absolutely be back. Fresh eggs, beautiful creek, tons of books and games and outdoor activities. The beds were unbelievably comfortable (better than any hotel I’ve stayed at). The kids were as obsessed with the cabin and creek as the adults. Thank you Jessica for your hospitality

It was great weekend. The house and the neighborhood was even better than we expected. Pet friendly. A lot of space or the whole family, hot tub is amazing. Fresh air, great views, fishing, golf, hiking, tons of things to do. I highly recommend! Can’t wait to go there again!
