Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Salt Spring Island

We had a lovely, peaceful stay. It was less than a 5 minute drive to some overlooks for beautiful sunsets. The tree net was fun and unique. It was strikingly quiet! The bathhouse worked just fine, close to the cabin and clean. The shower was nice and stocked with toiletries. The cabin was a perfect place to stay while exploring San Juan Island. Close to Lime Kiln by car. It was our first time visiting and we enjoyed cozying up in the cabin after a day of hiking or exploring. The French press and coffee were a major plus! We were charmed by the island and by the cabin. I frankly loved having no cell service (true for most of SJI for me—tip to Verizon users!), it was a forced disconnect. I downloaded the Google map in advance so I could use it offline, which was helpful in navigating. Raeleen was proactive with instructions and texted to check in after our first night. Thank you so much and we hope to visit again someday! Highly recommend if you want to go off the grid and recharge!

Staying at Jason’s place was a pleasure. He was very responsive and flexible with check-in check out. Kudos to whoever designed and furnished the space. The design was super swanky and really helped us escape for our island visit. The bed and bedding was super comfortable. The shower was spacious with great dual showerheads. Best part is the location as it’s super walkable into town and we found a shortcut where we could take a short walk to the local brewery . Wonderful design great space.

One of the best houses we have ever stayed at. Beautiful, comfortable with an outstanding view. Perfect place to celebrate my birthday with my daughters! It was a glorious weekend! Thank you Lori!

Nigel was a fantastic host and extremely responsive to any questions we had. The place was in great shape and in an awesome location right by the water.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The place was exactly as described and the views were spectacular. Evelyn was a great host. She informed us of everything we needed and more. We had forgotten a sweater at the place and Evelyn was so kind to mail it to us.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every minute. The place was comfortable and exactly like the pictures. We stayed with two young kids who slept on the sofa bed. They had a great night.

A lovely place, in a secluded and beautiful spot surrounded by woods, but within a short walk to a gorgeous cove on the water.

Terry's place was great! We had more than enough room to move around and make meals together as a family. We enjoyed the whole space. Terry was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you for the great stay!

We had a wonderful stay- the location is gorgeous and the condo was even better than the photos. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. A beautiful place to recharge.

Deanna is a great host very accommodating and responsive. This is our second time staying at her place. Location is perfect to watch our son racing who was participating in Shawnigan regatta. Looking forward to stay here again next year!

What a beautiful place! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the view was incredible and it was so relaxing. The queen bed was comfortable but the sofa bed wasn’t great. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Jason and Andrea were easy to get ahold of when I had any questions. The area where the unit is was clean, the park was fun for my girls to play at and the hot tub was lovely! I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for a great stay!

We like coming back to Catherine’s. It feels like home. Beautiful and quiet and a hammock as well.

The place was really cozy and private. The view was amazing! We loved our stay there and Karli always was responsive:) She also has really friendly cat which kept us company in Karli’s lovely garden:)

If you like a nice nook by the river then you're going to love Matthew's pad! Definitely coming back in the summer for some river tubing and much more. perfectly placed in the center village, walking distance to many cute shops and cafes. Thanks for being a great host Matthew! cheerios 🍻

We loved our stay at Alyce’s! My husband, toddler, baby, and I felt right at home and appreciated the incredible view and lack of clutter. The space was clean and tidy. One door was creaking and keeping our toddler up and when I messaged Alyce late at night asking if she had WD-40 I could spray the hinges with, her husband dropped some off before I checked my messages again! No more squeaky door! They also provided a pack and play and were friendly and quick to respond to questions. Would stay here again!

We spent two nights at Shannon’s place and had a wonderful experience. The property looked exactly like the photos, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time—playing games, sitting around the fire, and relaxing in the hot tub. Shannon was very responsive. On the morning of our check-in, I reached out to let her know about a small change in our plans—we needed a crib and high chair. She replied right away and assured us it was no problem. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked—far beyond our expectations. There were plenty of spices, foil, Ziploc bags, etc…

Amazing location and setting. Place was perfect for medium sized group and lots of available amenities at the house.

We really loved our stay at Michele's. The property is beautiful with tons of wildlife and really well located so it was easy to walk to various places. We hope to stay here again

I feel so refreshed after staying here and would absolutely recommend a visit to anyone who needs a break. The nature and peace of this home and location is everything. We saw so many amazing birds, I now understand the appeal of birding 😂. So many thoughtful touches and cute decor throughout the home. The views, the hot tub on the deck, heated bathroom floors, throw blankets, fireplaces, the fire pit in the yard etc. we really enjoyed just being here. Our host was the absolute best I have ever encountered. She thought of everything: welcoming snacks, the home was clean and a perfect temperature, she let us know about construction noise on one of our days gave us a discount for that day and a late checkout. We felt so taken care of. Thank you Eden and Allison Elizabeth!

So amazed upon entry with the perfect cabin and views form the patio or from inside. We grilled fresh fish each night. So quiet. Shane and Nichole so friendly and generous.

The place is very private, comfortable and clean. The beds and linens were good and the kitchen well equipped. I loved sitting on the front steps in the morning sun with my coffee and around the fire at night. I loved that it was tucked away and private, but not in dark trees, like a lot of places on the islands. It was a great place to stay and a dreamy holiday on Galiano.

Our stay at West Beach Resort was phenomenal. The host was exceptionally kind, friendly, and nice. Mostly everything you need is available onsite (coffee, food, fire wood). Some wood was included for our fire pit and we really enjoyed the peaceful setting with our beachfront cabin and private fire pit. We even made it into the hot tub for a bit and that was great too. Inside the cabin was thoughtfully appointed and spotlessly clean. Great stay. Won’t hesitate to return.
