I had an absolutely fantastic experience during my stay! The flat was fully equipped with all the essentials and was in impeccable condition. Rebekah is a great host, made everything effortless; she was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond whenever I had a question. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a stay in the area. You won't be disappointed.

We had a great long weekend stay here to celebrate a special birthday. The weather was good so the grandchildren made full use of the pool, huge garden and tennis court - as did some of the adults. House was very clean and well equipped. Very peaceful and secluded setting - everyone said they would love to come back again.

We enjoyed a 3 day mini break at the Calf Shed cottage with our 2 children and dog. The cottage itself was nice with open plan kitchen and comfy seating area, and a private garden area which was great for the kids and dog. A big bonus was the heated pool with stunning views. The weather was not great but the heated pool meant we could still use it, which is a short walk from the cottage. The kids also enjoyed the trampoline and table tennis. The main barn was not rented during our stay which meant we had sole use of the pool and play equipment. There was no welcome pack/booklet however the host Alison was quick to respond to questions (wifi password, bin locations, etc). Other comments is the double bed was actually 2 single beds which the kids commandeered and signs of wear and tear here and there. However overall a pleasant trip.

Absolutely lovely place to spend a night - from feeding the fish to a quick round of pool, and of course the brilliant facilities on the patio, which couldn't be simpler to use thanks to the helpful instructions. Everything is set up to provide optimum convenience and a warm welcome (like the plentiful fire/BBQ supplies and the eggs and marmalade from Jane's hens, which were both fantastic, so kind!) Jane herself is a wonderful host, and my partner and I highly recommend this listing. Thank you!

The barn was beautiful, we had such a lovely stay. The decor was stunning and there was lots of special touches that made our stay more comfortable. Michelle was very good at communicating with us and the main owner of the barn met us on out first day and gave us lots of useful information regarding the barn the sites and walks around the area. We would definitely love to come back in the future.

A really unique place in lovely grounds. As a family with young children the facilities made the stay for us. The Wing itself is nice full of character in terms of the architecture and decor. The place was clean, comfortable beds, kitchen had the essentials. Only thing I’d say is the bathroom and kitchen could do with a simple modernisation but really nothing to worry about, everything worked fine. The family say they would return so that’s the ultimate verdict.

This is an accurately described, beautiful home in idyllic countryside. The house is spacious and very stylishly furnished with vintage furniture and artwork. Ideally there would be one or two more bathrooms with showers - we knew this before staying of course - it just means more planning of showering with a larger group of people staying. We especially loved relaxing in the garden room with the gorgeous views of the garden and rolling hills beyond. We were incredibly lucky with the weather so definitely made the most of having a pool and pizza oven and BBQ. And we picked fresh figs off the tree by the pool, delicious! The kids loved the trampoline and table tennis. Enzo was great and prompt at communicating with us. We appreciated the local recommendations - we enjoyed lunch at the Jolly Sportsman, coffee at Cafe du Jardin and a mooch around all the antiques shops in Lewes. A very comfortable house to enjoy with three generations of our family.

We had an extremely pleasant time during our stay. While booking I didn’t realize that there was no cooking range at the accomodation . We wanted some eggs for breakfast, Miles was extremely helpful. He made some mouth watering scrambled eggs for us. Thank you Miles for that.. really appreciate it . The surrounding place is extremely peaceful and scenic. We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Clare’s cottage. It was a great base for us while exploring the South Downs area and within a short drive of the historic town of Lewes. The cottage was spotless, well appointed, comfortable and tastefully furnished and Clare was an excellent host. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed eating outside in the pretty little garden. Our labrador enjoyed the dog biscuits Clare provided and loved meeting Clare’s dogs and the other dogs staying at one of the Shepherd’s huts in the garden. The views from the main bedroom and the upper sitting room were stunning. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.

It was a dream come true to have me and my wife, our three grown children and husbands, and our grandchildren all together on a grand adventure holiday. The town is lovely and I’m sure the chap at the local coffee shop will miss us. The home was perfect size with ample space for all of us to gather and eat and play and sleep. Would stay again!

A beautifully decorated and cosy cottage, with all the amenities you can think of! Very clean and in a lovely quiet village. We also loved the secluded outside space where we had dinner. Would highly, highly recommend! Some great restaurant in nearby Lewes as well!

Lovely stay in the flat - place was clean and tidy and felt right at home. Buses are within a 5 min walk so getting into Brighton town centre/beach by public transport was easy. 10/10 would stay here again

Me and a group of girlfriends rented Gills place for the weekend. It was a fantastic stay, the house is so spacious and the garden is absolutely gorgeous. We were all so so happy with it. Gill is a fabulous host and left us some delicious goodies in the fridge including a whole chocolate cake! Thank you Gill - I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to be close (10 mins drive) to Brighton. The views and surroundings is unreal! Thank you xxx

Great place to stay for our group holiday, house was tidy and Mark was response when asking questions. Location is a short walk to the seafront. Parking was easy and bedrooms were decent size.

We had a wonderful stay and so enjoyed this beautiful home and the vistas of the sea. It was a great location for both visiting Brighton and Glyndebourne (for the music lovers out there). The space is really a nice layout allowing for fun entertaining with friends while also having very private and quiet for sleeping. You can’t beat the location for nature walks. Highly recommend.

2 Steyning Road was Lovely Beautiful I would recommend coffee tea for the customers because a lot of people would notice that Lucy provided a lot for the place for cleaning products but tea and coffee would make a customer very happy. I would recommend a table and chairs as a supplement because we can't take chairs from the living room and kitchen and the outdoor lounge does not permit it. Also I believe Lucy should interact more with the customer because anything could be needed in check in so regular phone calls or emails would be appreciated after booking. We left a nice feedback in the guestbook and We will come back again as we miss the place already. We are hopeful that the place will be available when we try to book on airbnb. We had an amazing stay for my Husband’s birthday and the property did not disappoint! It was so beautifully decorated and very clean. Laura was also a fantastic host and answered all questions immediately. Thank you so much for giving us such a great weekend and for the extra surprise gift for my husband. We had the best time and will definitely be back soon.

Had a fantastic few days at Nest Cottage. The cottage was exactly, if not better than described. It was easy to find, check in was simple and the cottage perfect and very comfortable. Aside from one day of poor weather, we loved exploring the West Sussex area, with Arundel and Bosham being particular favourites. There are many places to eat and relax, although you may need to plan ahead as a lot of pubs and restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We loved The Pig as always great food and relaxing environment, The Swan in Arundel for good pub food and service, and the Squire & Horse in Bury, although be sure to be hungry when you visit the latter as the portions are not for the feint hearted (The food is great quality too). Lots of places both local and a little further afield for walking, and the cottage contains a lot of possible routes and recommendations. A thoroughly enjoyable short break.

What a great little cottage. Plenty of room for 4 adults. It was very central, just a very short walk to the beach and the shops. On a one way street so surprisingly quiet. parking is ready and cheap in Seaford. Thank you, I would highly recommend

After the nightmare of our other Airbnb in Brighton that we booked, James was like a knight in shining armour. He really helped us out of a tight squeeze by providing his property to us with only an hours notice. When we arrived at the house there was a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge, along with fresh fruit and flowers. The property was spotless and only a 20 min walk from the pier. His communication was fantastic and I can see why he has been rated so highly. I cannot rate him or his property highly enough and would definately stay there again on my next visit to Brighton. The property was well located for 3 sets of guests. Good, clear instructions to find it. Lovely setting - very quiet and in open countryside. Accommodation was as described. We appreciated the en suite facilities in all bedrooms. The kitchen/sitting area worked well for us and there was plenty of space. We would definitely revisit this lovely property.

Miriam was a great host, easy to communicate with. The house is in the perfect location - close to the beach and easy to start the 7 sisters walk. Also close to Seaford town.
