Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Saltsjöbaden

We felt welcome and at home in Spersbodahusen, nice days with hot baths, excursions, reading and game nights. Dark and rough in December but cozy with crackling fire in the evenings. The water in the tap is checked and quite ok but does not taste like in town, so a tip is to bring bottled water to drink if you are a little picky. Hans was very helpful, questions were answered quickly and kindly with great tips. We went to atmospheric Wira Bruk and had homemade food. We would be glad to come back!

Absolutely amazing place with welcoming and relaxed hosts! We were here for a writing retreat, for which the place was wonderful, but I could definitely see myself spending a week or two during the holidays. Go there, stay there!

A view we will never forget! Beautiful summer house, equipped with hot tub, sauna and pool, cozy fireplace and Kamado Joe Grill we loved! Our kids enjoyed the pool, the small treehouse and the outdoor toys. Enough space with 7 people and retreats, surrounded by great nature. 3 min walk to the sea with diving board and swimming spot, as well as 20 min to a small lake (fishing and swimming). On the island there is a small grocery store and about 25 minutes the nearest large supermarket (Lidl, ICA, etc.) We had great evenings in our own pool house with fantastic sunsets! We fully recommend Niklas's place. He was always available and often inquired about our well-being. Even when we had a problem with the toilet, he organized someone who was immediately on hand despite the weekend within a few moments. Great host with a nice touch to the reception.

Very nice house at lofty heights with fantastic views and a nice helpful host. The only downside was the temporary noise from the renovation of the streets in the village, but Ivan responded accommodatingly.

We chose this cottage for a team-building retreat, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The house is spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of 6–7 people across its six bedrooms. The kitchen was modern, well-equipped, and a genuine pleasure to use. With dual sinks, a large stove, and a generous oven, cooking for a group was both easy and enjoyable. The dining area served multiple purposes: perfect for shared meals, productive as a collaborative workspace, and cozy in the evenings for board games. The abundance of candles throughout the house added a warm and inviting atmosphere after sunset. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. A nearby lake, 2 km away on foot, provided a swimming spot for those looking to spend time outdoors. We also made good use of the large outdoor deck, which had ample seating for dining or lounging and soaking up the fresh countryside air. The house has two modern bathrooms, both located on the ground floor. We would happily return!

We had a fantastic stay! Magdalena and Oscar were super friendly, responsive, and welcoming, so everything was easy and smooth. The house is beautiful, with a spacious garden, lovely pool, and a charming greenhouse we really enjoyed. Surrounded by stunning nature, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Would love to come back!

TL;DR: we’re already making plans for the next visit with friends Beautiful property designed for indoor outdoor living. Close to the ferry to Stockholm, a bike rental, and walkable for fit people to all other harbors, a surprisingly well stocked and fair prices super market, and two restaurants. Everyone that we met on the island was super friendly. The hosts were super responsive, helpful and fun to chat to. See you soon!

We had a wonderful time at Jesper's place! My adult daughter and I wanted to see Stockholm but stay somewhere a little more quiet and this lovely home fit the bill perfectly. Everything was exactly as described and Jesper was so friendly, helpful and responsive. The kitchen had every utensil and amenity you could want. Bathrooms were sparkling clean. Beds are comfy with plenty of clean linens. Really appreciated the washer and dryer after a week of traveling before our stay. The brand-new Jacuzzi was a fabulous way to unwind after a day of walking around the city and we loved sitting out on the deck. The vibe was so homey and welcoming. The best part was Leia, the resident cat! Once she warmed up to us, we thoroughly enjoyed her company throughout our stay. Please note that Jesper asked us beforehand if it was OK for her to remain during our visit, and as cat moms ourselves, we were thrilled. I strongly recommend Jesper's property for a relaxing stay in a beautiful place!

Beautiful apartment in a villa by the lake. Gorgeous setting and peaceful. About a 10 minute walk from the apartment to the bus stop which connects to the metro. Drottnigham palace is a short distance away. Homemade jam butter, flowers and fruit were nice. Highly recommend if you want to be a natural setting but well connected to Stockholm.

Beautiful place with stunning terrace: We enjoyed staying at Oytun’s space. The terrace is perfect for a barbecue or a quiet drink in the evening. The bathroom is spacious and the bed is extremely comfortable. The location was great, well-connected to the city but also close to where our friends live. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again.

Thank you to our hosts for a great stay near Stockholm. It was 20-25 minutes by car to go visit the city. The area was a nice quiet neighborhood and accommodated our family of 5. Great kitchen and space to eat together and relax. The area was great for running as well.

Wow! We are so glad to have chosen Magnus's place for our family trip to Stockholm (2 adults & 2 older children). Magnus was exceptional in every way and made the visit completely stress free with plenty of recommendations and assistance guiding us to local amenities and travel services. Magnus was the prefect hosts. The apartment suited our every needs and exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for us as we walked the majority of times to the surrounding areas. We truly felt at home, everything required for a relaxing holiday. We didn't get chance to use the rooftop glasshouse as we were too busy exploring the city, however we know for sure we'd love to go back and maybe use the glasshouse in the future. We have truly fallen in love with Stockholm, the apartment and the friendly people and services we experienced. There is so much to see and do, we filled our week with plenty more left to do. We will definitely be back and we know where we'll be hoping to stay!

Linus was very accommodating and responsive. The accommodation was very cozy and clean. There was also a very nice garden. We had a great time and definitely recommend it!

Had the most gorgeous stay and this lovely country home. Guans parents who live nearby were super helpful with everything and kindly cooked us breakfast and shared with us their fresh vegetables. It’s perfect short get away in the summer for someone living in stockholm. Would recommend staying in good / dry weather due to the outdoor kitchen and shower! Will definitely looking to visit again soon.

6 adults stayed in this house for a few days and it was amazing. We had plenty of room and the views were amazing. I would absolutely come back to Linda's place again. The island is nice for walking, swimming, and just relaxing. We took the waxholmsbolaget boat and it was very easy. Wonderful!

We were in the house as a family for 6 nights. We felt right at home. The location is fantastic. Very quiet and directly on a small lake. The booking and communication with Jessica went smoothly. We lacked nothing.

We had a great one night stay visiting family in the area. Torbjörn’s place was exactly like the pictures and having coffee and breakfast available was amazing. We felt right at home.

I was with my 3 children or teenagers in Gustav's house and we were absolutely positively surprised! The very friendly contact was absolutely outstanding. Gustav was accommodating to us in everything and also with questions or problems there was quick help! The house actually looks exactly like the pictures, only it is much more beautiful and extremely cozy! A real feel-good place with everything you need! The different terraces with seating areas on different levels, the warm outdoor shower with the best view and the large trampoline are great! Super WiFi. In the kitchen, there is really everything you need. Induction stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and dishes for every occasion. We were dependent on public transport, which of course makes it a bit more complicated, but shopping was also possible (coop daily until 10 pm), the bus stop to Stockholm is about 10 min walk and takes 1 hour. the place was absolutely beautiful! the cozy cabin along with the rowboat made this our best trip in europe during our semester abroad!
