Welcome to the private daylight basement of our Tudor home in beautiful Montlake! Warm, inviting suite has a bedroom with queen-sized bed, a bathroom with shower, and a cozy TV room with a double sofabed. Perfect for family, couple, or two friends. Interlaken Park and the Arboretum are steps away; UW Husky Stadium and Light Rail are a short walk or bus ride. In lieu of kitchen we offer a microwave, fridge, Keurig coffee...and insider tips from your host, a restaurant critic. Dedicated parking.
“Kathryn and Tom's place was a great stay especially for being a last second booking. Great amenities and hospitality from their end. The only thing I wish was more clear was that the listing wasn't under the filter "Entire place". In reality, the listing was the basement of a house with the separate entry being the garage door. The basement has direct access to the main floor and there's not really any privacy except for the door to the basement bedroom - which even then has no lock. They also mention that they will sometimes be in the basement to do some chores once in a while, which is also not really aligned with having an entire place. Otherwise it was a good stay and would recommend with the details above.”
The Woodinville Carriage House is separate and detached from the Farm House built in 1943. Wineries & breweries only minutes away. Full private kitchen available if you do not have the energy to visit and eat at over 100 wineries in the area. The grounds are gated. See gate code at booking.
“The carriage house is exceptional. My husband and I stayed for an extended weekend with our dog, and we couldn’t have found a better place. The space is very clean and adorable from top to bottom! It has all of the essentials, including a small kitchen that we made quick meals in, and there is a very spacious and private yard. The location is perfect - it’s just a few minute’s drive to the tasting rooms and restaurants in Woodinville, and Smit and Trae provided us with great tips on local places to check out. I’d highly recommend the carriage house - such a gem in Woodinville!”
Detached Suite w/Private Entrance and No Shared Space located 3 blocks North of Rose Hill elementary school with plenty of off street parking and close to Microsoft Campus, Downtown Redmond and Downtown Kirkland all within 3 miles of our Rose Hill Kirkland neighborhood. Our air conditioned newly constructed Backyard Bungalow was finished in January 2016, designed as a space for out of town friends and family to stay, we also found another great use for it on Airbnb.
“Kurt's Place was amazing. Quite, nice, safe neighborhood. Essentials within 10 minutes drive, grocery, costco gas. Not too much to do around(bars etc.) though, plenty of family-living vibes. But if that's exactly what you' re looking for. Kurt’s backyard rooms are great. Attached gas station, the supermarket is just a kick, but the delicious restaurants have to go to Bellevue and Redmond, the community atmosphere is very quiet and safe, family-oriented, suitable for young couples without babies”
