Monthly Rentals in San Antonio

By far the best AirBNB we've ever stayed! They've thought of every necessity (extra towels, water, first aid kit, flashlights, etc.) and novelties (bird/animal guides, toys, Uno, coffee/tea options), and it was noticably spotless when we arrived. The jungle setting with daily visits from the howler monkeys while laying on the hammock or net was always exciting. It was such a a comfortable setting we probably spent more time there than we would've in a hotel, despite the many other activities during our visit. A car is necessary, but it's an easy drive to San Ignacio and other popular sites, or tours can also pick up at your location. We would love to plan future visits here!

Great and relaxing stay at Eden Farm. Charming host! Cute dogs! It was so quiet and peaceful at Eden Farm itself that we found our tentative plans for nearby adventures and activities diminished and flopping on the porch listening to the birdsongs and gazing across the meadow seemed like the thing to do. At the same time, a wonderful birdwatching trail, Mayan cooking class and lunches were right down the road, as well as being just minutes from San Antonio with restaurants and a great women’s cooperative (check out the National Geograhic article on them, and Google the Upe Nai Mayan immersion cultural center right down the road). We drove, so all sorts of things close by, if inclined. But as noted, we found ourselves inclined to rest and recharge at Eden Farm itself. The term “vegging out” comes to mind, which is funny as our new favorite Britishism from our newfound friendship with Robin (the host) is now “I think we will have a bit of veg!” Unforgettable experience!

Adam and Rebecca were amazing hosts! Their cabanas had everything we needed for a good stay. Highly recommend staying here for a great time.

About as private an oasis as you can find but still right off main road and within easy reach of S. Ignacio. Angel met us and gave us the deluxe tour, even killing a scorpion the minute we walked in the door! He explained the hiking paths, where to find the best views, which animals to listen for, recommendations in the area, and showed us around his workshop where they’ve made the gorgeous furniture you see in the house. He recommended lunch at D. Family close by and the Fry Chicken was fab! Maya chocolate tour at Ajaw was interesting. We provisioned up at the open market in S. Ignacio and cooked each day with the ample pots/pans. Loads of water in the water coolers on both levels, a washer/dryer, strong shower and huge fridge/freezer made the stay feel like home (or at least a home I wish we had!) We used 2 of the 4 bedrooms, including the one with aircon. The house is huge and allows everyone to have their own space. Thanks Angel & Todd for an amazing experience!
